I find that even if it’s not a canon piece to the series, the ending is so eerie and diabolical given what Kayne explains in “Intermezzo”.

On the other hand:

Does anyone know what T.H. White’s deal was?

I’m currently reading The Once and Future King and while I’m enjoying the book, there are some parts that I’m confused about.

First there’s this passage… with the n-word included… The copyright is from 1939 so obviously it wasn’t that taboo at the time but I don’t understand how this is relevant for Cully (the old mad bird), it almost sounds like he’s referring to something American with the “damned administration”, does anyone know why?

Also the Macbeth references- there are at least three of them during Wart’s ideal in the mews. I assume he just wrote it to be weird and fantastical because that seems to be something he really likes to do, but it’s a little strange, especially because the number 3 is a big motif in Macbeth. I would love to hear if y’all have any ideas.
