Fright Knight x Dan au, perhaps? Fluff but a picnic that became sexy?

I kinda changed what they’re doing but it’s all in the same vein as what you asked.

I didn’t feel like doing a whole story, or a full detail drawing, but I didn’t want to leave you hanging dry so I did a little bit of both .3.

The sky was unusually bright that evening, even as the rare occurrence of the sun slowly dipped down beyond the horizon. A pair of ghosts wandered along the barren plains. Both equally striking and menacing in appearance, with every step they took, an ominous, ghostly chill followed.

As silent as they were, they were aware in a sense of what the other was thinking.

“An evening with the sunset must mean whatever out there doesn’t hate me tonight,” Dan said as he stretched one arm above him. His body gave a tiny crack of tight joints loosening. “Though…”

A tiny falter in his step was all the indication Fright Knight gave before he kept up his pace.

“Why me? You usually do your patrols alone,” Dan inquired with a side glance.

”Nothing of…” Fright paused, ignoring the Phantom’s intense eyes. “Importance. I merely wanted a partner to join me.”

“Right…” Dan grinned deviously. It was quite obvious why, Fright just refused to say it outright.

Stopping abruptly, Dan held an arm out to halt Fright in his tracks. Ambient silence hung over them as the shadows of dusk slowly crept over their forms. Turning on his heels, Dan placed his other hand on Fright’s other shoulder, and pulled him close.

“It’s just the two of us out here,” Dan said, a barely audible purr emitted from his throat, “you’re free to say what you really mean, no one will ever hear you.”

Fright remained silent, the offer rang through his mind. A snap of his fiery cape slightly startled him. That was when Fright realized his ghost core sped up, it hammered with thoughts and emotions he kept close to himself.

“You’re… preferable compared to the others, Phantom,” he said in a low voice, “…competent, and…”

Why was the inside of Fright’s helmet getting warm?

“Hmm…” Dan cocked his head curiously, a playful light shone in his eyes. “I’d say thinking about me is making you…”

Dan stepped in closer, his muscular physique bent down. His hardened features flickered with a softness.

“Excited.”

Blinking, Fright felt a warmth on his face. Dan’s visage was all he could see, slightly bared fangs and a longing swam deep within the other’s eyes.

Another soft, gust of warmth. Their faces were merely millimetres apart now.

“I wonder what a ghost in shining armour tastes like~”

(Ahh, I'm so sorry I never answered this, I remember seeing it and laughing but I was Not Doing Well at the time and then I forgot.)
