Hot take but if you hate/make fun of people who are new to a subculture and u call them “posers” then you are more of a poser than them.

This is mostly targeted at someone I know irl (she can’t even see this) but it’s very true imo. People NEED to stop calling everyone a “posers” just because they’re not as far into the subculture as you are. It’s sm better to educate them and help them as much as you can.

I’ve seen a lot of people get annoyed when someone asks “am I still [subculture] if I do___” this bothers me because the best way to learn is to ask people who are ALREADY educated.

Ik this is a bit of a rant but we seriously should start being nicer to new people and start helping them because they’re just trying to find a way to express themselves exactly like you were however long ago.

Let’s all be nicer to each other pls :)
