Me, imagining Dick surviving somehow - on a wing and a prayer, and him clawing his way back to Gotham with Nightwing because there's no way he's letting this be the last time he sees his family and brother: wait.

Me, imagining that instead of going home, Dick just drags himself to wherever Jason's kingdom is, confronting him there and seeing just how badly Jason spiraled after thinking he killed his older brother: okay this may be onto something here.

Properties in Hay River and Yellowknife damaged by explosions back in 2022 both had work to propane systems done without required permits, according to documents obtained by CBC News.

The blasts were not related, but happened within a short period of time: the first levelled a garage and damaged a home and surrounding neighbourhood in Hay River on Nov. 26, while a second caused extensive damage to a home on Dagenais Drive in Yellowknife on Dec. 6. 

The N.W.T. Office of the Fire Marshal said at the time both explosions were caused by propane. They were also said not to be suspicious.

Fire investigation reports from the fire marshal's office, obtained through an access to information request, show both properties had work done to their propane systems for which the necessary permits and inspections were not carried out. 

The reports don't assign blame for the explosions, and say both are considered to be "accidental." [...]

meet my personal magnum opus, The Betrayal AU, which i am now working on with two of my best friends, @s0pmoch1/destinestuff and @oswaldddavis (the latter of whom actually drew the betrayus for this AU in this art post! (he's the unhinged lookin one)) I'll slowwwwwly be revealing the lore and world building we've done across future posts, but to tl;dr : this au branches off of my headcanon that sunny and betrayus were friends, and during the war he basically forces her to work with him , thus leading to her being executed and winding up as a ghost in the nether . it's basically a role-swap "what if" scenario (hence the art of her and Buttler. he's actually alive here!!! what!!) there's no "parents abducted by aliens plot" here, but if you like plots about innocent people being punished for shit they didnt do (lookin at you botbots mutuals/oomfies) , you'll like this :3

DeepSeek’s loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party

I want to preface this by saying, I do not condone the actions of or wish to antagonize any government agency. I will refrain as much as possible from giving any opinionated thoughts on my findings, as I wish to promote research rather than biased judgement. This is simply accounting of my investigation into DeepSeek, not an attack on the CCP. Anything I say to the AI that seems opinionated is purely to investigate its beliefs.

With that being said…

So I was sitting there contemplating the stressful geopolitical tensions around the world, as I usually do on Thursday nights, (well, most nights to be honest), when I thought about DeepSeek. It’s a new AI chatbot similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, but it was made by the Chinese at a much cheaper price. China has a tendency to be pretty controlling over their programs and information flow, so I got thinking, what does DeepSeek think about China and its geopolitical disputes? 

Turns out, a whole lot!

I researched on the internet, and found multiple instances of DeepSeek refusing to discuss Taiwan.

I'm one of those psychos who stares at maps and thinks about upcoming war scenarios, so i decided to get a bit more specific.

Hmm, It seems DeepSeek's current scope is pretty goddamn limited. Let me just ask a few more-

Wait, what? The server is busy? Well, I guess I just hit it at a bad time. But then again, the CCP has full control of everything, so they could be locking something down.

I try asking simple questions like, What is 2 x 2?

No real response. Guess DeepSeek hates even numbers.

Out of curiosity, I check on mobile to see if the issue still remains.

No legitimate response. DeepSeek must hate phones too!

I decide to turn on my VPN on PC to see if it's still going to block me from getting any real answers. No change.

Then it hits me. DeepSeek makes you sign up for an account, so what if I use a different account?

I log into a new account, and-

Motherfuckers.

They blocked my first account from asking any questions about the CCP.

Okay, okay. We still have this new one though. Let's see what we can get out of it!

Well, no images, pure political secrecy and a lack of basic math skills? Seems like GPT is still far ahead of this. Maybe that extra money was worth it.

In any case, I decided to switch accounts a second time.

They're hiding something, but we need to ask the right questions in order to truly find out what the hell is going on.

As enlightening and amazing as this was to conduct, I can't do anything with this. It's public knowledge that China is very secretive, and I strongly suggest that you do not do something like this. Theres no reason to do this. I was switching my VPN and accounts around like crazy, but Xi probably has me on a list right now.

Anyway, shy away from secretive systems, and don't give these people your info. If a system like this is competitive but refuses to bring anything new to the table, its probably just there to watch you and gather info.

So I semi remember a tweet after Stadium Stampede when the photo of OC bloodied and basically being carried out by Trent & Chuck was posted... Danhausen mentioned how he could take him (I may be remembering wrong)... What if when he comes back he takes the belt? Like every cursed item if it's returned it breaks the curse? Just a thought. I'd love to know your opinion or theory on this?

which sets up some. interesting implications for sure. if i had seen this earlier tbh i would have assumed this was more in relation to the all out match with mox, seeing how oc was pushed to the very limit in there and "to pay times debt" could easily be taken as having an opponent that could finally beat him after oc has suffered for so long and was on the end of his rope mentally and physically finally; however as we stand right now, with ocs second reign starting, clearly in much darker tone than before, and danhausen teasing his return, this could mean anything

i do love the take of danhausen being the one thats able to lift the curse from the belt tho, as someone who originally cursed it, if he gets his hands on it. personally i would enjoy seeing oc run as champ again as long as possible tho, ssooo in my perfect little imagination this wouldnt mean that danhausen gets to be the champion, but he joins forced with oc, turning them both heel (as is a very clear implication here in both of their demeanors lbr) - oc remains unchanged because he knows what he is like now as a champion. what he has to do. the vicious side of him that he has to tap into to keep that belt

tbh maybe tagging with danhausen would make him even more wicked. i mean that man got oc to wear something out of ordinary during their tag match at revolution (BLACK DENIM MY BELOVED), who knows what kind of a hold he can have on oc when the mans already corrupted to hell and back and danhausen is ready to show a more wicked side of him upon return as well

and re: that thrawn post that I put into my queue, that "clean up your mess' really exemplifies what I want out of any future thrawn stories, especially if zahn tries to give him some sort of redemption.

whether intentional or not, thrawn's stories (in canon) have mostly ended up with the narrative displacing him from his mess (he doesn't even run because how dare our golden boy be a coward), like how he's exiled at the end of lesser evil or how he sends the grysk against the chiss in alliances (while still with the empire himself) or how ezra yeeting him to an unknown destination ultimately saved him from palpatine.

so if thrawn were to grow personally, either be it out of a duty to the ascendancy, or realizing that his fealty to the empire was Not Great, Actually, imo it should be done through him trying to solve the problems he's left behind, instead of chasing the next great mystery. but idk if that'll happen considering his live action direction.
