This new version of "CAN YOU" is much closer to my original vision for the song, I just happened to hit the arpeggiator when sequencing the "I WON'T WAIT" version and went with it. Someday I'd really like to hear someone do a full-on acid remix, but we're getting off track -- this version is all doom, gloom, and empty space.

Lyrics: I Die: You Die made an offhand comment in their review of "SEEK COMFORT" about a song being from my dog's perspective and they were wrong at the time, but y'know what? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! However, they don't understand that my dog happens to be an anxious, sound-sensitive freak who is terrified of odd-shaped clouds and contrails, so this is his paranoid vision with a touch of weird fiction embellishment.

Hello friends! Doing self-promo is a fraught process in even the best of times, so it brings me no pleasure whatsoever to announce that my new country record "TIRED OF LIVING" is now available for pre-order. I still very much consider myself a synth/industrial artist and will be getting back to the beeps and bloops shortly, but, as a lot of you know by now, I also love reworking my existing material into raw acoustic versions. So that's what we have here: eight songs, including six from across my back-catalog plus two covers - one by honky-tonk legend Buck Owens and another by UK post-punk act Pink Military. As with the similarly-themed DARK TYMES ep, each tune is boiled down to its bleakest essence and lacquered with a touch of blackened psychedelia. Is it country? Is it goth? Is it something else entirely? Yes.

Furthermore: all proceeds from preorders will be matched and donated to Trans Lifeline. Alternatively, you can donate to a different trans-rights org or gofundme - just send me a receipt and I'll send you a download code.
