Thinking about the fact that Mabel and Dipper didn't know they had two great uncles.
Yeah they are 12 and at 12 I had a shotty understanding of my family tree- But really? Nobody brought up their great uncle? Stanley? Especially since they'll be staying with his twin brother, Stanford?
Shermie never went to Stan's fake funeral, which to me means the twos relationship was strained on some level. If Shermie is older that means his view of Stan was poisoned in some way, that even as kids they weren't close. If the Shermie is younger then he never even got to meet Stan and all he knew about him was how he failed his family. Hell, people probably barely mentioned Stanley TO Shermie.
The fact that Stan had become a black stain upon the Pines family name makes me so vividly upset. Stanley faked his death and the family just- seemingly decided to strike him from the record. To pretend he didn't existed to spare themselves the sadness and shame.
Stanford and Shermie Pines. The only children worth mentioning of Filbrick and Caryn Pines.
It was never Stanford that was lost to the world. It was Stanley, ever since he had to leave New Jersy- it was always him that had to be struck from the record. Change his name, change his state, change his affiliations, destroy the remains of ghost that was Stanley Pines. Kill him so the family doesn't bring him up, doesn't ask questions, stops asking "Stanford" about his twin.
I just keep thinking about the fact that since the day he made one single mistake all the way up until Ford walks out of that machine- Stanley Pines was killed and did not exist. And Stan himself had no one to blame, he had to play the part in his own demise- He is the only one who ever knew Stanley was alive and has been for decades.
He lives in the multitudes of every personality he's ever taken, all in the hope that he himself can stop being Stanley Pines.
#gravity falls#grunkle stan#stanley pines#STANLEYYYYYY#STANLEY THEY COULD NEVER MAKE ME HATE YOU STANLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#sharky rants#Just. Imagine the fucking shame you have to live with#the shame that you can never be yourself. That anything you were is unwanted and forgotten#The shame of just BEING- Of taking space of- of /breathing-/#Imagine the world; your friend; your family; your colleagues being so ashamed of having known you#that you feel more comfortable with a persona to present.#You feel more comfortable stealing the identity of someone you care for deeply if only to help#If only to feel capable for once. To feel like you belong- Like youre doing something good for once#Imagine the shame that brings you to be comfortable not being yourself for 40 years.#ALL CASE YOU BROKE ONE FUCKING PROJECT??????? COME ON#I mean- the deeprooted shame was started from earlier. He was 'the stupid twinâ; 'the troublemakerâ; âthe cheat and thiefâ#This was a long time coming#But those werent MISTAKES- The one time he genuinely made a Mistake he lost everything#Like he really mattered so little to the people around him#and he cant really blame them.#My cousin is a genius. Hes smart and academically achieved since I was a baby.#The only thing I had that he didnt was my ability to draw. to be creative. The guy for the longest time had a better social life then me too#I used to get brought to tears seeing his accomplishments- seeing people praise him. The shame lived in me any time I had to see him#The shame that I was the black sheep of the family next to the golden standard for a son- for a student- for a friend.#when I was none of those things#And Im lucky he was my cousin- cause if he was my brother that would have haunted me EVERY DAY rather then once or twice a year#Im better with it now; Im more content with who I am- But trauma dump aside-#I very very very much understand Stans shame in being the stupid one. The unachieved one in a family full of achieved people#the shame thats angry at him for being better. at the family for treating him special. and most of all at yourself that you cant be better#its a visceral feeling that I sadly understand

â°Hello everyone once againâ°,
I would like to introduce myself againđâŠ
I am Dr. Mohamed Al-Deeb, and I used to work as an ER doctorđđ©žđ©ș at Al-Shifa Medical Complex. đ©čđ«đ«
But I was forced, along with my family, to flee southđŁ,
leaving behind my homeđ«, memoriesđ, and the workplace đthat held so many beautiful recollections with my colleagues.ïżœïżœïżœ
This war has affected us deeply, destroying us internally and exhausting us physicallyđ©, mentallyđ, and financiallyđą.
We left our homeâa five-story buildingđthat now no longer existsđđ, completely reduced to rubble.
That beautiful home held the memories of my childhoodïżœïżœïżœïżœ, cherished days with my siblings, family, and the warm, joyful gatherings that are now nothing but echoes.đđđâ€
Today, I am displaced in the city of Deir al-Balah, đ
living in a tent that lacks even the most basic necessities.đđ
It doesnât protect us from the heat of summerđȘ or the cold of winterđ«.
Yet, this hasnât stopped me from fulfilling my dutyâ, both humanitarian and moral, to serve my patientsđ€đ.
I have not left them even for a day, not hesitating for a moment to provide care, whether at the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital đ©žor the European Hospital.đ©ș
I deeply feel the suffering of these patientsđ„ș, who have lost everything and have only their health left to cling tođ„.
I only wish that this nightmare would endđ„șđđ.
After an entire year of this devastation, all that remains for me is my small familyđđ,
and my hope is to protect them from the ravages of this war and to live in peace and safetyâperhaps even far from this landđ„șâ€.
I humbly ask for your help in any way possibleđđđ€.
Thank you.đ

I know I sound like a broken record by now: repeating the same things others have said before but I think banality of it all is the point of my post. The fact that I have nothing new to sayâ not about the genocide in Gaza, not about the dwindling attention of allies, is HORRIFYING.Â
It has been 11 months of a genocide that the UN calls âwar on childrenâ. Malnutrition, diseases, lack of suitable medical care have caused Gazan children to lose their childhood; to lose their lives entirely! Â
There is no hope left for a future unmarked of pain and my friend Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) , who is father to three sons describes it as a âfeeling of oppressionâ. He laments that his children have been forced away from their schools, hopes and dreams by colonizers and where before there were ambitions to excel in either studies or sports, all they know now is helplessness, fear and anger.Â
Siraj has told me how his children- Abed, Muhammad and Amir have confessed to their father about how they have begun to feel guilty for surviving at all now ; after having lost so many of their friends to the genocide they are experiencing survivor's guilt and it breaks my heart to hear that. Abed, the eldest son, is ONLY ELEVEN!! Can you imagine an eleven year old feeling guilty because he has managed to survive while his friends haven't ? And what kind of survival it isâ Half starving, drinking unclean water, forced into tents where sand mites pester him throughout the day?
I am not sure what happened or why the engagement with fundraisers has dropped so drastically lately but there is nothing more atrocious, more horrible than apathy when children are suffering. It is so strange that we can quote James Baldwin so easily and yet have failed to understand what he meant when he said,
"The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; ...whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality. â
We have the power that is not afforded to Gazans and therefore it is on us to be attentive no matter how repetitive these posts feel. It is ridiculous and dehumanizing that during a genocide one has to worry about making a post original enough to maintain attention. And yes I know that we won't be able to stop the horrifying banality of Israelâs evil in a day but WE CAN help provide FIVE families that are dependent on this fundraiser with a lifeline during times such as these. Â
Please we have managed to get this far after struggling for so long, it cannot be that we will fail Siraj when he is so close to the end goal of 82k !!
So DONATE AND BOOST. Find it in yourself to not just reblog but circulate the fundraiser among your colleagues, friends and family. Share it in your whatsapp chats and discord servers. Share it on every other platform that you may have a reach on.
Currently at $72,987 CAD of the short term goal of 75k. We have 2k left to raise by tomorrow.Â

âHOW CAN I LOVE WHEN IâM AFRAID TO FALL?â
âI fell in love with you as soon as I saw you, as soon as you covered me from my father, as soon as I heard your laugh, saw the amazing mother you are, and realized I never wanted you to leave this house.â
pairing: CEO! satoru gojo x f!reader
summary: to your almost regret, your life as a single mother seems to be weighing more and more heavily on your worn-out shoulders. so what could be better than pretending to be the CEOâs girlfriend of the business you work for, knowing that his father is the general manager?
warnings: +18 only, smut, nsfw, her daughter is called hinata, fake dating/single mom tropes, angst, mother insecurities, fluff, readerâs ex is a jerk, unprotected sex, sex (p in v), overstimulation, pussy drunk (satoru), nipple play, fingering (f!receiving), oral (m), this fic is (really slightly) inspired from the french book âun printemps pour te succomberâ by morgane moncomble, including therefore small similar dialogues, (pls guys learn french only to read this masterpiece!!), fanart by @/ilameys on twt.

âCan I taste the frosting?â
Your lips curve into a smile. âOf course, angel.â You crouch down and hand the spatula coated in pastel pink frosting to your five-year-old daughter. Her little fist wraps around the handle, and joy spreads across her angelic face like rays of sunshine. âSo? How is it?â
âItâs so good!â she exclaims, and you chuckle.
âIâm glad you like it.â You glance at the clock in your kitchen. âIâll put the frosting in the fridge. While the cake bakes, go back to playing, and Iâll call you to help decorate the cake as soon as itâs ready, okay?â
Hinata nods, blowing you a kiss that you return after a moment of surprised hesitation, your lips forming an âOâ. Amid delighted laughter, she skips away, and you turn back to face the bowl of cake batter.
Why does it have to be so hard?
Every birthday, you hold back tears because who said âsingle momâ doesnât rhyme with âbaking your own birthday cake so your daughter can sing to youâ? But what hurts more â this, or seeing your flesh and blood envy her female friends who have their dads in their arms and their mothers content with their families?
The silence of loneliness can sometimes be louder than company.
âHappy birthday! Happy birthday, mama!â your daughter sings, clapping her hands as you blow out your candles in the warm, yet dimly lit, living room. âCome on, come on! Letâs eat the cake!â
With a knife, you cut two slices, one for each of you, and it only takes a few more minutes for both your mouths to be covered in pink frosting, with laughter echoing in the room. The heartache, briefly chased away by the short-lived joy, returns later that night when your daughter snuggles up in your arms in your double bed, which seems to be missing something.
Fuck, being a single mom is tough, you think as you wipe away the tears flooding your cheeks with the back of your hand. No one to support you, all the responsibilities fall on your shoulders, and now doubts about your daughter start invading your mind: âWhat if she blames you later for not having a father?â, âWhat if she thinks youâre a bad mom?â, âDo her friends at school say anything about you being the only unmarried woman among all the parents in her class?â
These thoughts have never stopped, not even during your pregnancy, whether about the weight gained or lost, or the changes in your body. Are these regrets? But how could you regret bringing such an angel into the world? Maybe itâs more about the lousy partner who left you the second he found out you were pregnant.
Probably the second option.

âWHERE IS MY SON?!â
A male voice thunders across the entire floor of the company. You jump, turning to one of your colleagues over the small partition set up for employee privacy. âWhoâs yelling like that?â you whisper, eyebrows raised in surprise.
âI heard itâs the new general managerâŠâ
Your frown deepens. âIs that why they handed me the summary of our sales figures to drop off at the office upstairs?â To prove your point, you lift the massive stack of documents.
Your colleague presses his lips together, his eyes widening in a way that already gives you the answer. âOh God, youâre the one in charge of that? Good luck. Itâs to be delivered to the new director.â
A sigh escapes your lips.
For a start to the workweek, it seems youâre about to face the stormy mood of the new boss, who apparently brought his kid to the office. What a perfect beginning.
As usual, the upper floor is deserted, as itâs generally reserved for executives with direct ties to the companyâs CEO. Few people take the elevator to reach the top floor of the skyscraper. Arriving in the lonely hallway, it should be a simple task to knock on the bossâs office door, drop off the elephant-weight stack of documents, and leave.
So why does the sound of running footsteps seem to be getting closer and closer behind you?
In a flash, a man dressed in a navy blue suit rushes past you, bumping your shoulder. He nearly topples the threatening stack of papers, but you manage, at the last second, to catch everything before you lose your balance. The young man opens the door to the womenâs restroom, and before entering, he glances over his shoulder.
Never in your life have eyes made such an impression on you.
Two cerulean blue orbs lock onto yours with a mischievous aura. A smirk tugs at the corner of his thin, pink lips. From his pale skin to his albino hair, the man exudes charm and beauty from every pore. The sheer allure of his appearance leaves your brain too stunned to react, numbing it. How can someone be this handsome?
âSATORU!â
His serene and amused expression vanishes instantly, and you jump in response. Replaced by an exaggerated look of fear, he addresses you, âCover for me. If he asks you, you never saw me!â And his tall, slender body disappears into the womenâs restroom.
More footsteps echo down the hallway, this time from a second man, just as tall and physically similar to the young man you just encountered â though slightly older, with wrinkles lining his face and a mix of albino hair and silver from age. You have no time to react except to straighten up against the wall.
His blue eyes, more gray and stern, settle on you as he approaches. âDid you see a man? A tall idiot running around and flirting with any woman he sees,â he grumbles the last part, his eyes thoughtfully fixed on the light carpet.
You shake your head robotically. âNo⊠Iââ
âNever mind,â he cuts you off with a dismissive wave of his hand â as if your answer is irrelevant and heâs heard it at least twenty times before. He sighs and scratches at the stubble on his chin. âWho are you, anyway?â
âAn employee, sir.â You gesture to the stack of documents thatâs beginning to make its weight known in your arms. âI was asked to drop this off in your office.â The tone of your voice almost pleads with him to let you in and relieve you of the annoying burden.
âThe report? Ah yes, of course.â You sigh in relief as he unlocks the door with his keys. âI suppose youâre wondering who I am?â
âThe new general manager, I guess?â you reply, raising an eyebrow. You drop the heavy stack onto the desk and exhale deeply. âWe heard you on every floor.â You canât help but chuckle at your own remark, offering the director an apologetic smile.
He rolls his eyes, but a light chuckle still rumbles in his chest. âYouâre right. Itâs because of my son.â
His son?
You repeat the word aloud, confused, and he clarifies. âMy son is the new CEO of this company, and I almost regret my decision to give him that position.â He shakes his head, his gaze drifting toward the blue sky visible through the large window, then refocuses on you. âI apologize in advance. Heâs going to be a real handful.â
âI understand. I think weâll manage to put up with him,â you add with a smile.
In the end, this new boss doesnât seem as strict as your colleagues have been saying, and his story about his son is more amusing than anything. You cough slightly into your elbow and clear your throat, murmuring an apology.
âAre you sick?â the director inquires.
âA little,â you admit reluctantly, feeling embarrassed as you adjust the mask on your face. âSorry. I couldnât stay home.â
âNo problem.â He crosses his arms over his chest and sighs. âWell, I think I have some work to do. See you later, I suppose.â
You donât hesitate to leave the bossâs office and quietly step into the womenâs restroom. âIs⊠someone here?â you murmur in a hoarse voice.
The creaking of a door answers you, and the general managerâs son emerges from a stall, looking cautious. He looks like a little boy checking to see if his hiding spot in a game of hide-and-seek has been discovered, which makes you stifle a discreet giggle. He turns to you and offers an apologetic smile. âSorry about earlier. I didnât hurt you, did I, sweetheart?â
The nickname catches you off guard, and warmth floods your face. âN-No, Iâm fine. Youâre the new CEO, right?â
âSatoru Gojo, at your service, pretty girl.â He winks, a reminder that heâs quite the flirt.
You introduce yourself in return, running out of things to say, your hands nervously clasped by your sides.
âPretty name,â Satoru murmurs. He closes the stall door behind him and exhales, shaking his head. âPhew! That was a close one! Thanks again!â He strides toward the exit with one last charming smile in your direction, leaving the restroom and a lingering scent of cologne behind him.
°°°°
âWhy arenât you answering?â
âDamn it, youâre so annoying with this!â
âThereâs no point in moving every few months, Iâm going to find you.â
âFor fuckâs sake, answer my messages! I told you I need you! I swear Iâll help you raise Hinata this time.â
âI made a mistake, so let me fix it by answering my fucking messages! I know youâre reading them!â
You swallow hard, your throat tight, and press the âblock this contactâ button on your phone. Itâs the fourth time this month. Heâs been harassing you with messages and finding a way to contact you no matter how many numbers he uses, even when you change yours. The same goes for your address, as apparently changing apartments is no longer enough to escape him.
You know heâs in debt â one of the many consequences of his excessive gambling, even when you were still in a relationship with him. Smoking, drinking, and of course, downing tobacco like it was water, only to charm you while hiding this lifestyle to get you into his bed, then fleeing the moment you were pregnant.
So now that he needs a woman and a child to escape his debts, heâs reaching out to you â the woman he abandoned after promising marriage (without a ring, of course), got pregnant, and deserted, only to come crawling back to you.
âMama? You okay?â
Your daughterâs concerned little voice pulls you out of your daze. The cartoons playing on the TV havenât had the desired effect â theyâre not distracting her from the anxiety thatâs been gnawing at you day by day. Maybe today, itâs showing enough for people to notice?
âIâm fine, angel,â you reassure her with a perfect smile â perfectly fake, because thatâs something youâve learned to anchor over time.
You pat the empty spot on the couch next to you, and she nestles under your arm. âIf you say soâŠâ Hina murmurs, clutching her worn-out bunny plush.
The state of the plush catches your attention, and a pang of guilt stabs at your heart. What kind of mother lets her daughter carry around a stuffed toy in such poor condition? Maybe you are a bad mother? Otherwise, why would Hina deserve such a pitiful situation? She deserves so much better than youâŠ
âLittle angel?â you murmur as she wraps her tiny arms around your waist and nuzzles into your belly. âAre you okay?â
âI love you.â
And the three little words sound⊠unreal.
Hot tears blur your vision, and it takes every bit of strength you have to whisper back, âI love you too, Hina.â
°°°°
3:00 PM.
In less than an hour, youâll need to pick up Hinata from school.
Normally, you avoid lingering at work. You go through your usual routine as an employee, nothing special or fun â a hello, goodbye, see you tomorrow to colleagues without worrying about whatâs happening around you or the gossip, even when it involves coworkers getting together.
The only change: now itâs you who gets stuck with the task of delivering all the documents to the general manager. According to one of your peers, he doesnât seem to be strict or threatening when it comes to you. So this time, youâre tasked with delivering an additional file about the production of a new product on the market to both the CEO and the general manager. For the second time, you head up to the highest floors of the company headquarters to knock on the CEOâs door â itâs the closest. But no one answers.
No surprise, since the directorâs son spends his time running through the hallways to avoid his father and shirk his responsibilities, right?
Youâre about to knock on the Directorâs door, but a familiar gust of wind brushes your face with a soft, fresh breeze. Satoru Gojo appears beside you with a charming smile and glances at what youâre holding.
âH-Hello, sweetheart. How are⊠you?â he greets, slightly out of breath from yet another chase with his father.
âIâm fine. Here.â You hand him one of the folders, and he takes it, pretending to read it. âThe next meetingââ But he grabs the second document and, before you can react, opens the door to his office and casually tosses them inside before shutting the door.
âSATORU GOJO! KEEP IT UP, AND IâLL DISOWN YOU!â The bossâs voice echoes through the entire floor as he appears from behind the emergency exit door. âYOU!â He points a finger at you, standing right next to him. âStill bothering our employees?â He grumbles, his jaw clenched so tightly that you can hear his teeth grinding.
âThatâs not true, father!â Satoru protests, feigning outrage. He wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you closer. âYouâre chasing me while Iâm just saying hello to my girlfriend?â
You freeze, turning your head toward him, as lost as the Director, who squints his eyes. âYour girlfriend? Since whenââ
âI was going to tell you,â Satoru continues, shaking his head, his fingers squeezing your waist while you remain paralyzed. âHereâs my new girlfriend.â
âAre you lying to me and dragging some poor woman into your childish games?â
In the back of your mind, you note that he doesnât seem to recognize you despite the last time you saw each other.
âWhat? Iâm telling the truth! Isnât that right, sweetheart?â And he leans in to plant an affectionate kiss on your cheek.
Your heart almost stops for a second. But you quickly snap back to reality under the insistent embrace of his arm and his hand around you. âY-YesâŠâ
What kind of mess have you gotten yourself into?
âWell, if youâll excuse us, father, my darling and I are in a hurry.â He leads you away before you have time to protest and heads toward the elevator with you.
Once the doors close, Satoru takes your hands in his and leans toward you. âI can explain everything.â
If his cerulean blue eyes hadnât been so persuasive, you would have exploded right there and then to yell at him.
You, the girlfriend of the CEO of the company you work for? Did this really have to happen to you? You can already picture your termination letter under your nose as you exit the back of the building. A glance at your watch tells you that if you donât hurry, youâll be late to pick up your daughter.
âYouâre in a rush?â
âI have to pick up my daughter before Iâm late,â you reply curtly, âand look at the mess Iâm in now!â
âI know, I knowâŠâ Satoru rubs the back of his head, right where his immaculate undercut is. âMaybe I can explain on the way? Whereâs your car?â He looks around the parking lot, his eyes searching.
The question â however mundane â makes you blush with embarrassment. âI⊠take public transportationâŠâ you mumble, pouting.
He furrows his brow, as if you just admitted to showering with maggot-infested soap. âExcuse me? I donât take public transportation.â
âWell, I do.â A hint of defiance returns to protect your pride.
How could he possibly understand when he lives like a rich man, without worrying about grocery shopping, paying bills, and of course, taking public transportation during the week to avoid wasting gas because it costs an arm and a leg! But for him, that must not be part of his daily life, especially since heâs one of societyâs privileged.
âLetâs take my car then.â He says this without waiting for you, as you remain standing there. He pulls out his keys and opens the passenger door. âWhat are you waiting for?â
âButâ Iâ Are you out of your mind?â you burst out. âIâm not getting in that car! Iâm supposed to pick up my daughter, and now Iâm pretending to be your girlfriend! In front of your father!â You emphasize your words with wild, energetic gestures.
He bursts out laughing.
Cute.
âNo chance. Weâre going to pick up your daughter and clear this all up. And please, stop refusing to get into a car thatâs way better than those buses that reek of sweat.â He rolls his eyes, and you note how much he resembles his father when he does that.
âI have an errand to run anyway,â you persist.
âAnd that doesnât change the fact that I want you to get in this car,â Satoru chuckles.
Taking a closer look, the car is as luxurious as the ones you dream about at night â yours, by comparison, looks like a junk heap ready for the scrapyard. Reluctantly, you climb in, Satoruâs chivalrous demeanor not going unnoticed as he snickers at your surrender. He quickly gets in, asks for the address of the school, and sets off after starting his car, which smells just as good as he does. You feel like a piece of trash in the middle of this little universe he inhabits.
âMy father bugs me every day to find a woman,â Satoru murmurs at first, one hand resting on his thigh, clad in business suit trousers, his eyes fixed on the road over his round sunglasses. âThatâs one of the reasons I avoid him.â
âAnd why involve me?â you snap back.
âWell, to be honest, it was partly impulsive. I met you the other day, and then, in the moment, I just wanted my father to leave me alone.â He has a half-smile that makes you swallow hard, and he gives you a knowing look before returning to a serious expression. âIâm sorry for dragging you into all this.â A pause. âI just hope youâre not married, otherwiseââ
âNo, Iâ No.â You close your eyes for a moment, the innocent question burning like a fiery arrow piercing your already aching heart. Did you just hear a sigh of relief? âAnd your father doesnât seem to have recognized me since the other day,â you canât help but point out.
âThe mask.â Satoru grips the steering wheel until his knuckles turn white. âHe didnât recognize you because of that. Heâs always had a bad memory and poor eyesight.â
âBut you recognized me.â You focus on the roadâs scenery to avoid confronting his mesmerizing eyes. âIâm not going to wear my mask forever, you know? And I donât want to keep pretendingââ
âPlease,â Satoru whispers, placing a hand on yours, sending a shiver down your spine. âJust until he and my family get off my back.â
âIâm sorry, butââ
âHow much do you want?â He asks immediately, as if he just remembered something.
âWhat? No! I donât want your money!â you protest as quickly as he did. âNo, IâŠâ And you groan, sinking into your seat.
Holy shit!
âWhat have I gotten myself into, seriouslyâŠâ you moan, crossing your arms over your chest, a grimace distorting your features.
âPlease. I know itâs a lot to ask, but Iâll do everything to make it just a minor detail⊠Iâm only asking you to change your name in front of my father when you pass as my girlfriend, wear a mask, and change your hairstyle at work â if we want to avoid suspicion. He wonât suspect a thing, I swear.â He pulls into the school parking lot and parks quietly.
Thoughts bombard your already exhausted mind, and you massage your temples. Why does this have to happen to you and no one else?
Satoru murmurs your name, making you lift your head. âIt will only be a few family events, just for appearances, nothing more. I wonât bother you any further.â
You sigh, and the sound of the bell signaling the end of classes rings out. âI need to think about it. Thanks for the ride. Have a niceââ
âCome back. Iâll take you home,â Satoru suggests, pressing the button to unlock your door.
Whatâs the point of refusing?
You nod, finally getting out of the car to go pick up your daughter, who runs toward you as soon as you reach the gate.
"Mama!" She jumps into your arms.
You return her embrace, heading towards Satoruâs car. âDid you have a good day?â
âSo much fun! I made you a drawing!â Sheâs practically bouncing as you reach the car.
Noticing your daughterâs confused look, you clear your throat. âUh⊠A-A friend of mine is giving us a ride home, okay?â She blinks innocently and waits for you to open the car door, which is almost as tall as she is. Hinata gets in as you do, and you cough slightly. âThis is Gojo. My friend.â
âHello, princess.â Satoru turns his head over his shoulder with a big smile. âWhatâs your name?â
âHinata,â she replies, her legs gently swinging.
âVery pretty.â
âThank you.â She blushes and tries to hide a smile.
On the way, you try to fill the awkward silences with small talk until you arrive at the supermarket.
You had promised to buy Hinata a new stuffed animal since last night after spending hours worrying that you werenât being a good mother. Again.
âThat one!â Hinata almost runs towards a bunny plushie thatâs twice the size of her head. She grabs it with her little arms and gives it a hug.
Satoru and you reach the aisle, and out of habit, you check the price under the albinoâs watchful eye. Your eyes nearly pop out of their sockets when you see the amount, and you place a trembling hand on Hinaâs shoulder. âAngel, I think itâsââ
ââŠPerfect,â Satoru finishes, his large hands taking the plushie from your daughterâs tight embrace to check the price tag with its shocking number. âDo you like it, little one?â he asks, looking down at her.
Hina nods energetically. âYeah!â
âThen weâll take it.â Satoru hands the plushie back to her and turns towards the checkout lane, already reaching into one of his pockets for what looks like⊠a wallet.
You react immediately, your hands finding their way around his arm. He doesnât push you away at all and even smiles at the contact. âGojo⊠No.â
âItâs Satoru to you, sweetheart,â he whispers gently. âAnd why not? Itâs just a stuffed animal,â he scoffs. He takes Hinataâs hand so she can place the plushie on the conveyor belt.
âNo, itâs not nothing to me,â you persist through clenched teeth, embarrassed that the cashier might be paying attention to your conversation.
Satoru shrugs. The cashier scans the plushie, and he uses contactless payment to pay for it. With your hands still around his arm, he places one of his on top, an intimate closeness.
âI could get used to this,â he murmurs near your ear, making you turn beet red. But he canât continue as your daughter clings to Satoruâs leg like a koala, showering him with a thousand thank-yous for the gift. âYouâre welcome, little one.â His hand gently ruffles her hair. He grins, now turning back to you. âItâs on me. You donât owe me anything.â
Your discreet protests, so Hinata doesnât suspect anything, come to an end when he drops both of you off in front of your home. Hinata commented that Satoruâs car looked like the one from the movie Barbie: Princess Charm School she had seen recently. He unlocks the doors as you get out of the car. Satoruâs hand catches yours, slipping a piece of cardstock into it. His contact details are on it.
âJust in case,â he mouths silently.
Nevertheless, you slip the business card into your pocket and respond just before closing the door, âI accept.â
°°°°
âAnd no funny business, okay? Never run in the hallways, if he tells you to wait, donât move an inch, andââ You stop yourself as you notice your daughter is more interested in admiring the elegant decorations of the office hallways with wide, doe-like eyes and an adorable, slightly open mouth.
To your great misfortune, Hinataâs preschool is on strike for a while â which means almost all the teachers are absent. So how do you take care of your daughter when you canât afford to miss work? By bringing her to your fake boyfriendâs office, of course! You quickly make your way toward Satoruâs office, Hinata following with her hand in yours. But just as you raise your fist to knock on his door, two large hands land on your shoulders, nearly scaring the life out of you.
âHey, hey!â You whip around abruptly, a new mask on your face â just as the plan intended.
âSatoruâŠâ you grit through your teeth. Hinata looks up at him and grins. You sigh.
âWhat do I owe the pleasure of all this lovely company?â Satoru asks, not taking his eyes off yours while giving Hinata a high-five.
As usual, heâs dressed in a luxurious suit â probably worth the rent of the apartment you live in â his slightly tousled albino hair and the familiar scent of cologne filling your nostrils. You catch yourself staring a little too long, and mentally kick yourself when his curious gaze turns mischievous.
He just realized you were checking him out, damn it!
âHinataâs school is on strike. I need you to watch her for the day, if thatâs not a problem, and since you seemed so insistent on returning the favor Iâm doing for youâŠâ you mumble, avoiding his gaze. âI see youâre spending your day roaming the offices rather than staying in yoursâŠâ
âNo problem at all,â Satoru replies automatically, a pleased smile on his lips. âReady to go to the CEOâs office?â He picks up Hina, who giggles and clings to him like a koala.
Itâs your turn to smile in relief. âThank you so much. I have a meeting with your father in an hour, and Iâll come get her at noon and again at the end of the day.â The sight of the two of them close together makes your heart melt â and for once, you donât blame yourself for seeing Hinata happy to be with someone else.
°°°°
5:00 PM.
Youâve sent a message to Satoru asking where he was, since knocking on his perpetually empty office seems to be pointless. The meeting with the other company members about organizing the launch of a new product was particularly painful, but one thing is certain: the general manager didnât recognize you with your more subdued hairstyle and the mask plastered on your face.
âCome to the parking lot like last time.â
And thatâs the last message from Satoru (you gave him your number during lunch).
In the empty parking lot, only Satoruâs car is present, and you cast a curious glance through the windows. The two troublemakers give you a grimace â tongues sticking out and faces scrunched up. You sigh as the passenger door opens automatically.
âSatoru, you donât have toââ
âHina said yes and that she wants to come to my place,â Satoru cuts in with a mocking expression.
Reluctantly, you get in, your heart pounding in your chest with all sorts of panicked thoughts. However, Satoru doesnât seem to share your reservations and starts driving as soon as youâre settled.
âSo, this means youâre coming to my place,â he says, hands on the wheel and a quick glance in the rearview mirror, âand Iâm inviting you to dinner.â
âNoââ
âMom! Please, Satoru is being too nice.â Hinata complains. You glance back, and she looks at you with wounded, pleading puppy eyes, arms crossed over her chest.
You grumble, slumping back against your seat as they both cheer in victory.
âBy the way, Iâm stopping by your place so you can pack. Weâre invited to a family wedding, and my father invited us.â
âWHAT?â
°°°°
You place a box with your gift on the designated table for presents, and an arm wraps around your waist. âYou look stunning,â Satoru murmurs against your neck, his lips brushing against your skin, which breaks out in goosebumps.
With a flushed face, you turn your head. âSatoruâŠâ
âWhat? Just because weâre pretending to be a couple and barely know each other doesnât mean I canât speak the truth.â He pauses. âWell, actually, we do know each other a bit, donât we? Weâve had dinner together.â He chuckles at your half-grimacing, half-deadpan expression, pulling you closer as music fills the wedding reception hall.
You turn your head along with him toward the back of the room, where the brideâs bouquet is about to be thrown. A tight smile curves your lips â this is one thing youâve dreamed of. Dreams have always been just that â dreams in your life, and even when love comes knocking at your door, itâs only passing through, just like your situation with Satoru.
His father didnât notice anything, and since Satoru lives alone in a villa, itâs hard to say no when he offered for you to stay with him until heâs settled, with your own room and a staff available 24/7. He even had a tailor make a custom dress for the wedding you were both invited to. Hinata is looked after by a lovely nurse, and youâre enjoying a life youâve always dreamed of. So why not make the most of it despite your past?
A Satoru whoâs too comfortable with you isnât so bothersome given the time youâve spent together lately â both at the office, acting as a couple in front of certain people, and sometimes showing affection to each other to appear believable, even though they havenât asked for kisses yet, soâ
A fluffy and soft object lands right in the middle of your face and falls into your arms. You search for what seems to be a petal in your mouth and suck in your breath at what you realize it is.
The brideâs bouquet.
A gulp forces its way down your throat as the whole room applauds because⊠youâve been hit in the face with the bouquet? Not to mention the lamentations of other female cousins who had jumped with all their hopes to catch it⊠But why you, who hadnât asked for anything?
âSweetheart?â Satoru mutters, his chest still pressed against your back. His tone is so sweet, nonchalant, as if youâve been a couple for years. âMy father is watching us, and I think heâs expecting me to do something.â
You swallow and nod, dreading what might happen next. Will your heart stop beating when Satoru says:
âMay I kiss you?â
Never, ever, has anyone asked you that question. Not even your ex.
So, with a nervous nod, you allow him to capture your lips in a soft, languid kiss. His tender lips taste like the cotton candy children eat at the fair. They cherish yours with every movement (which you canât help but return in kind). Each press sends butterflies fluttering in your stomach.
When the kiss ends, Satoru places one last kiss on the corner of your lips and clears his throat. âThis is the first time Iâve wanted to marry my girlfriend.â His warm breath ignites your body.
Has your heart exploded?
If not, why canât you breathe?
âAwww⊠How adorable you are with your pretty girlfriend, Satoru!â
An elderly woman approaches you both, supported by her old cane, and you note her albino hair, similar to Satoruâs.
âMy dear auntâŠâ Satoru smiles widely without breaking away from you.
âYou make a lovely couple,â Aunt Gojo continues, giving you a wise look.
âOh, thank you.â You immediately bow and introduce yourself. Satoruâs hands squeeze your waist, and he chuckles at your manners.
âTake good care of her, you idiot,â the aunt finishes before drifting away, a tap of her cane on Satoruâs head making him sigh and rub his sore skull.
âWell, at least we look convincing, right?â he adds.
âYesâŠâ
Of course, he said that because he saw his aunt before you! Donât think he said it because he meant it orâ
âBy the way,â Satoru takes your hand in his and leads you to the center of the dance floor, âI meant what I said before my aunt interrupted us.â
And youâre at a loss on how to interpret his playful wink.
°°°°
âWOW! Hinata, youâre so rich!â
âIs this your dadâs castle?â
Hinata takes Satoruâs hand and faces her friends in his chic living room. âItâs my daddyâs!â She nods proudly and runs off with them toward the games and festivities organized for her birthday. The children run everywhere, scream, and burst into laughter throughout the room. The perfect atmosphere.
Itâs exactly what youâve always dreamed of giving Hina.
âYou didnât have to do this,â you murmur to Satoru, who, despite your comment, shakes his head joyfully.
âIâm glad she likes it,â he replies.
âI wasnât talking about the party.â
He freezes and turns his head toward you. âDidnât you tell me youâd never been married?â he dares to whisper, possibly afraid of hurting you.
âThatâs true. My ex left after learning I was pregnant with Hinata.â You exhale the breath youâve been holding, the weight of the secret finally lifted.
Maybe he wonât want to keep pretending to be your boyfriend after thisâŠ
âYou can still tell me his name, you know, sweetheart?â Satoru moves closer to you, wrapping his arm around your waist, as if itâs completely natural for him, but thereâs a tension in his touch. âI can take care of him andââ
You shake your head to dispel the tiny bit of resentment thatâs urging you to say yes. âItâs okay. Thanks for agreeing to pretend to be her father. I know itâs going to be a bit of a hassle for a while, but she cares a lotââ
âNuh-uh.â He places a kiss on your cheek, then another on the side of your neck, causing you to shiver. âSheâs already talked about it in my office.â
You open your eyes wide. âWhatâŠ?â
âHinata likes you much more than you think⊠Youâve suffered too much,â His other hand glides over your stomach, and his thumb traces affectionate circles on your waist.
âThank you,â you breathe, leaning into his touch. And for a moment, the weight on your shoulders completely lifts. âWe havenât had the best birthdays recently, so Iâm happy to see Hinata get what she wants.â Your eyes rest on your daughter, dressed as a fairy, waving her glittery wand at one of her friends dressed as a witch. âSo, thank you for everything.â
âNo need to thank me, sweetheart. But which birthday are you talking about? Yours? When was it?â
Embarrassed, your mouth feels dry. â...A while ago.â
Satoru pulls you tightly against his chest, wrapping his strong arms around you, his nose buried in your hair. âYouâre such a strong woman⊠I can take care of you if you want. You and Hina will live like princesses, and if you want to sleep with her or have your own room, thatâs no problem for me.â
âWhat? No, Satoru, youâre jokingâŠâ
âIâm not joking,â he insists, his gaze diving into yours â and for a second, sincerity fills his cerulean eyes.
With your mouth slightly open, you whisper, âWe barely know each other, andââ
âMama! Papa! We need to break the piñata!â Hinata rushes over to you, not paying any attention to how close you are to Satoru, and grabs each of your hands.
âYes, angel, weâre coming,â you respond to your daughter with a weary smile, before glancing at Satoru, who is no longer looking in your direction.
Why are his ears so red?
°°°°
You place the last birthday decoration box in a corner of the living room as Satoru asked and straighten up with a grimace from your aching back. âGeezâŠâ
The upper floor of the huge house is strangely quiet, and you furrow your brows. Could they have gone downstairs?
âHinata? Satoru?â you call out as you walk through the hallways.
The evening darkness makes it hard to see clearly, and only the faint beam of light escaping from the kitchen door guides you.
âAre you there?â you ask, gently pushing the door open, and what you find leaves you stunned.
âHAPPY BIRTHDAY!â the two of them exclaim, holding an enormous cake between them.
A few candles illuminate the underside of their beaming faces, party hats perched on their heads. The kitchen is a huge mess, counters covered in flour and frosting, and dishes overflow from the sink, threatening to topple over.
You stand speechless as they continue to sing your birthday song. Your nostrils and eyes start to itch strangely. Why is your vision suddenly blurring? It looks like transparent waves just above your lower lashes, threatening to overflow if you dare to blink. Yet, you canât escape it.
Not when they set the cake on the table and pull you into a hug while your nose runs, tears roll down your cheeks, and your choked-up throat is on the verge of bursting into sobs. Satoru keeps kissing your hair, never stopping for a second to comfort you with sweet and reassuring words, his hand drawing circles on your back. Hinata wipes your tears while her own roll down her little cheeks.
Seeing you cry has always been contagious for her.
The moment gives you a glimpse of what your life would be like if you had a complete family, and Satoruâs words echo in your mind. How could he be so perfect in just a few weeks of knowing him?
Once the emotion passes, a few minutes later, you eat your birthday cake with laughter and cheer, accompanied not just by the one person who now means everything to you, but by both.
°°°°
âWatch out, Hina. You have applesauce on your chin,â Satoru chuckles, his hand grabbing a napkin to wipe the excess food around the childâs mouth.
The heartwarming scene makes your heart swell. You definitely donât regret going out with Satoru and Hinata to have a meal at a chic terrace in their company. The family atmosphere finally gives you a glimpse of the life youâve always hoped to live. Hinata growing up with a loving father and mother, and you, loved and supported by an ideal partner. Why not reconsider Satoruâs proposal, then? Heâs the first man to think of you, even after your birthday had passed some time ago.
âIâm going to the restroom,â you murmur to Satoru, who nods in response, a wry smile curling his pink lips.
But why did it have to be on this day that a man finally approaches the two people you care about just as you slip away? He clearly waited from afar for you to let your guard down around your daughter so he could show up right in the middle of the table, facing a little girl â his daughter, technically â next to a man who isnât her father.
Satoru slowly raises his head toward him, brows furrowed and wary. âCan I help you?â
Your ex says your name. âWhere is she?â he mimics asking as if he didnât know.
âWhat do you want with her?â
âTo talk to her. I have the right. And youâre with my daughter, just so you know.â He crosses his arms over his chest, trying to appear threatening, but Satoru remains stoic, more contemptuous than anything else in the face of such a scruffy, unshaven nuisance.
âSheâs not here; you can leave,â Satoru responds. And out of protective instinct, he pulls Hinataâs chair closer to him, his eyes narrowed. Satoru understands perfectly that your ex is back to claim his rights over his daughter, just as heâs been harassing you with messages about it.
âExcuse me? When my daughter is in the arms of a stranger? I could call the police immediately and weâll sort this out very quickly,â your ex retorts sharply. He takes a step toward a lost Hinata, her big doe eyes blinking innocently between the two men. Of course, she doesnât recognize him.
An altercation begins between the two, which naturally attracts the attention of other diners around. And you walk into the middle of the scene, frozen in shock at the sight of your ex hurling threats at Satoru.
âSheâs taking my daughter, so Iâm taking her back! And itâs not a bastard like you whoâs going to help her regain my rights!â your ex spits with venom. His icy eyes find yours, terrified, your hands trembling and your complexion as pale as a sheet. Heâs about to address you with the same angry speech, his face flushed with rage and a vein ready to burst at his temple.
Do you get déjà vu?
ââYour daughterâ?â Satoru repeats with a deadly gaze and a jaw quivering with rage. âSheâs been sitting next to me for over an hour, Iâve been feeding her for over an hour, sheâs been calling me by my name for over an hour, and youâre talking about âyour daughterâ? At this point, whose daughter is she... yours or mine?â
Your ex, publicly humiliated, opens his eyes wide with hatred. âYou little son ofââ
âSir, we ask that you leave the terrace; youâre disturbing our customers,â a security guard declares firmly. Heâs accompanied by another colleague, and when your ex protests, they grab him by the arm and escort him away amidst his shouting and the murmurs of other customers who keep staring at the three of you.
You move closer to Satoru, who immediately stands up upon seeing you â having not realized you were there â and can only offer you an apologetic look. âLetâs go,â you silently mouth (your throat too tight to dare let a sound escape, fearing it might break before you say anything), taking the hand of a silent and lost Hinata. âIâll pay the bill andââ
âItâs already taken care of; we can go,â Satoru gently interrupts, following you to his car.
And itâs on the silent drive back that you realize something.
Youâve officially fallen in love with Satoru Gojo.
°°°°
âLook, Mom, Dad and I made a drawing for you!â Hinata proudly holds up a colorful picture with three easily recognizable characters on it.
âDid you brush your teeth?â you ask as you take the drawing to admire it, just as much smiling as your daughter. She nods and then does a little twirl to show off her new pajamas that Satoru gave her earlier in the day. âItâs beautiful. Youâre so talented,â you chuckle, leaning in to plant a kiss on her cheek.
Satoru appears in the doorway of Hinataâs room, leaning against the frame with his arms crossed over his chest, a perpetual playful smile curving his lips. âReady to go to sleep?â
âYes, and I showed our drawing to mama,â Hinata asserts, bouncing on her bed.
âOh yeah? Did mama like it?â Satoru asks softly, his eyes now locked with yours.
âMama loved it and thanks Daddy,â you whisper, your voice quivering with emotion that threatens to spill over.
Half an hour later, Satoru and you find yourselves in the hallway with a sleeping Hinata and her little lullaby snores.
Satoru wraps his arm around your waist as usual and buries his face in your neck. Your heart is already racing, and your breath catches when he says, âIâm sorry.â
âWhy?â The embrace is a simple hug but with unspoken words easily guessed.
âFor everything.â Satoru sighs, and for a split second, you hope heâll let you speak, but no. âI didnât mean to make a scene andââ
âAnd you think Iâm going to blame you for protecting us? That I wasnât touched by what you said about Hina?â you mumble near his ear. The closeness gives you another chance to see his ears turn red. âIs Satoru shy?â you giggle, open to teasing. He hums, hiding his face so you donât see his expression.
âI love you.â
You blink, because you must have heard wrong. âHuh?â
âMarry me.â And heâs already on his knees before you, eyes pleading. That usually confident cerulean blue is now so submissive, so close at hand⊠But the sudden turn of events leaves you stunned. âI want to be your husband, not just have you as my wife. I want to raise Hina with you and give you everything you need.â Not letting himself be distracted by your stunned expression, he continues, âWant my money? Iâll give it to you. My house? It will be in your name. Want my body? It belongs to you. My heart? Itâs already yours.â And he starts kissing the backs of your hands desperately. âI love you, I love you⊠Please, marry meâŠâ
âSatoru⊠Youââ you stammer, backing away, your brow furrowed. Everything is a jumble in your head, both from his touching declaration but also because itâs all moving too fast for you. âYou⊠love me?â you manage to whisper.
He crawls to you and wraps his large arms around your thighs, almost choking with desperation. âI fell in love with you as soon as I saw you, as soon as you covered me from my father, as soon as I heard your laugh, saw the amazing mother you are, and realized I never wanted you to leave this house.â He whispers your name like a divine invocation. âIâve fallen in love with you more than just once.â
You donât immediately respond, and thatâs okay in his eyes. He doesnât want to pressure you, just for you to know the truth and for him to be completely transparent with you.
âItâs okay if you donât share my feelings; I just want you to know thatââ But heâs cut off by your rush toward him on the floor as you press your lips to his, pulling him into the dance of your lips that one gives to the other in a long, passionate kiss. âGod⊠I love you so muchâŠâ
âI love you too, Satoru,â you murmur against his mouth between kisses that turn into moans as he slides his warm, wet tongue between your lips to request access to your mouth.
Both of your breaths become ragged and heavy. Satoru takes the opportunity to lift you by the underside of your thighs and lead you to his bedroom, carefully closing the door behind him without breaking the contact of your swollen, desirous lips. He gently lays you on the king-size bed with silver satin and frost-blue sheets.
With a tenderness of loving slowness, Satoru breaks the kiss. âDo you want to continue?â he asks, his voice husky. You nod timidly, but he shakes his head with his mischievous smile â finally back. âNuh-uh. Your words, sweetheart.â
âI want it, Satoru,â you reply after a sigh of exasperation so adorable in his eyes that it makes him laugh, then he places a light kiss on the corner of your lips.
âAlright⊠Gonna take care of my beautiful girl, the best, the most wonderful mother, and maybe future wifeââ He places a finger on your lips. âOh no, youâll answer that later if you want, when I have something concrete for that occasion.â
You sigh in frustration because the answer is already on the tip of your tongue, but it soon turns into a moan as he kisses the side of your neck with such deliberate slowness that you really wonder if heâs going to tease you to the limit. His hands roam over your clothed chest, exploring your already hardened nipples. His lips find their way to your collarbone, marking it with love bites and hickeys that elicit muffled moans from you.
âIf you knew how long Iâve dreamed of doing thisâŠâ Satoru comments with a touch of affection, his fingers deftly undoing the buttons of your shirt. âExactly how I would act with my wifeââ
âAnd your father?â And he chuckles again.
âWe donât care about him.â He casually tosses your top aside to tease your sensitive, erect nipples through the fabric with his thumbs. âSuch humble underwear⊠Would you like me to buy you something more daring?â he purrs, pulling on a strap to snap it against your gooseflesh-covered skin.
âWould you do that?â You bring your lips to his, and he immediately responds to the kiss. You also remove his black turtleneck sweater to reveal his toned, muscular torso. An adventurous hand glides over his chest, making him groan slightly, and then stops at his lower abdomen where a vein runs lower down. You place a kiss there with a small, sly smile.
For the first time, youâre about to make love with someone.
âHmm? Satoru? Have you ever thought of me in outfits like this?â Your nimble fingers unbutton his pants, revealing a prominent bulge in his fly.
âSweetheart, donâtââ he hisses between his teeth from the sensation of the slight friction between his erection and your eager fingers as they pull down his pants to caress and rub his dick through the thin fabric of his boxer. âYour hands feel so goodâŠâ He breathes softly, his hands stroking your bare arms with a feather-light touch.
âAnswer my questionâŠâ you purr, your nails pulling at the underwear to free his hard, twitching cock. The tip is perfectly reddened, with veins coursing along its pale length of 8 inches. Almost automatically, your mouth waters, and you waste no time kissing the slit of his already glistening tip with pre.
âBabe, donât teaseâŠâ Satoru closes his eyes and lets your hand wrap around his length, begging to be touched. âF-fuckâ Yes, yes, Iâve thought about it, about buying you the most expensive and luxurious lingerieâ ah!â he almost whimpers. You take a little over 2 inches of him into your mouth to stroke the base. âBut also in those maternity clothesâ oh god⊠C-can you really blame me?â He rolls his eyes and canât help but buck his hips toward you, his body pleading for your mouth to take care of him.
You withdraw his cock from your mouth to whisper, âSo youâre a naughty boy, hmm?â
âI wonât last if you keep this upâ hgnnâŠâ he whimpers completely, his dick splitting your mouth in two as you take him all in. Your head starts to bob back and forth, and he is so close that he spills moans of your name. âGânna cum, baby, donâtââ
You hollow your cheeks, and the next moment, he cums in your mouth, long, thick ropes of his release filling your already full mouth with his shaft. You hum under his orgasm and swallow slowly. You slide his dick out of your mouth with the same rhythm to smile at a Satoru with ears as red as his cheeks.
âF-fuck, sweetheart,â he pants, his calloused finger wiping away the mixed cord of your saliva and his cum with a swipe of his thumb.
âM-hmm⊠You taste so sweetâŠâ He doesnât let you continue and crushes his lips against yours, tasting himself on your mouth. âI want you, SatoruâŠâ
âIâm yours, princess.â He helps you quickly remove your remaining underwear so that youâre completely naked in front of him, knees resting on the expensive mattress. He kneels at the foot of the bed, and his fingers explore your sensitive, already dripping cunt.
âSo wet for me⊠Did I do this to you just with my cock?â His fingers spread your swollen folds to gather your fluids and rub your throbbing, needy clit.
Your nails dig into his arm as you lift your hips under the sharp pleasure. âSatoru, it feels goodâŠâ you gasp in a whimper. His forefinger and middle finger spread your wetness all around your intimacy. âPlease donât teaseâŠâ
âNot tease? Werenât you doing it, sweetheart? What a nerve,â Satoru scoffs, tapping his finger at your entrance. âCan I?â
âPleaseâŠâ You wince as you move your hips down for more. And thatâs exactly what he does, immediately inserting his finger into you, cursing.
âYouâre so fucking tight⊠and so wet,â he curses, his finger moving in and out of you with careful softness. âI can already fuck you without making you cum first.â He stops finger-fucking you and looks up at you. âIs that what you want, love?â
You nod before arching your back on the bed. Satoru climbs onto the mattress and helps you wrap your legs around him. âThatâs itâŠâ He takes his length in his hand and teases your responsive cunt with the tip to get it wetter.
âDonât tease, Toru, I swearâŠâ And he smirks.
âToru?â
âSorry, Iââ
His tip presses against your tight, pulsing entrance, and he grins. âI want you to moan that nickname while I fuck you, âkay?â He grips your hips to pull you closer to him, and with one swift movement, he slides into you, a groan escaping from behind his lips as your deliciously tight, warm, gummy walls wrap around him as if you were meant for him.
The stretch causes a slight discomfort at first, and you almost cry in relief when Satoru notices. He patiently waits for you to adjust before starting a slow, deep rhythm inside you.
You widen your lustful eyes, tears forming at their corners. âAh! Toru⊠Jusâ like thatâŠâ Your eyes roll back as the tip of Satoruâs dick hits the back of your cervix, making you shiver and tighten around him. âFuck⊠sâdeepâŠâ
âSo fucking perfect, so fucking mine,â Satoru groans, his hips rocking into you without ceasing to swell between your gummy walls. His chest rises and falls in a breath as ragged as yours, asking for more every time you moan for him to go deeper. (He discreetly rolls his eyes and babbles incomprehensible words â completely pussy drunk.)
And thatâs exactly what he does. He slams back in brutally, making you cry out his name with each thrust. âShhh⊠You donât want Hina to hear us, right? So keep quiet, babyâŠâ He helps stifle your gasps and moans of pleasure by capturing your lips with his, alternating between fast, rough thrusts and slow, gentle ones in your hole that he fucks shamelessly.
Blood rushes to your ears, a rare sensation you havenât truly felt the last time you were with someone. It wasnât just about carnal pleasure between Satoru and you â but about love. The fusion of bodies loving each other and providing mutual pleasure, even as they burn for each otherâ physically and emotionally.
One of Satoruâs hands slowly slides to one of your breasts and teases a sensitive nipple. The arch in your back encourages him to detach his mouth from yours to capture the other nipple with his wet lips. The growl he lets out sends a wave of intense shivers through you, making your eyes roll in overstimulation.
âP-please, Toru, please, Iâm already close,â you whimper against your trembling palm â a feeble attempt to contain your sweet sounds as he speeds up his hip movements in your sloppy cunt â the sound of his balls slapping your skin filling the room. Your words are punctuated by the tightening of your walls around him, swearing he could cum inside you just from hearing you beg.
âCum on my cock, baby, cover it,â he coos, giving another kiss to your abused chest. The clenching of your jaw with your teeth dug into your lower lip forces you to groan. âWant me to fill you up?â And you nod, tears showing your imminent orgasm. âAnything for you, my beautiful girl.â His hips slam against yours, and his fingers continue to tease your breast, rubbing your puffy clit.
Satoruâs own breath becomes heavier, more labored as he keeps singing praises while you gasp, his lips pressed along the line of kisses heâs placing down your jaw. âT-Toru, Toru, cumming!â you cry out as your walls spasm around his cock while he reaches his peak and fills you with his hot, liquid release, warming your lower abdomen. You see blinding stars illuminating your vision.
He hisses almost gutturally, his nails digging into the flesh of your hips. âOh god⊠S-Squeezing me while Iâm cumming tooâŠâ He closes his eyes for a moment, letting his peak subside at the same rhythm as yours, his forehead damp with sweat resting against your chest.Â
Only pants and groans escape your lips, each one accompanied by difficult swallows and the feeling of your sweaty bodies pressed against each other.
âHow was it? Did I make you feel good?â Satoru asks immediately, once his breath has returned.
The concerned questions touch your heart so deeply that you lift tearful eyes to him. âAre you going to leave, after this?â
His expression falters, and he gently withdraws from you to envelop you in his embrace. âNo, baby, of course not⊠I wonât, I swear on my life I wonât leave you⊠Iâm not him. Iâm the one who hopes you wonât leaveâŠâ he whispers hurriedly. âDonât think about that. Iâll always be here, for you and for HinaâŠâ
You sniffle, your eyes red. But Satoru smiles tenderly, wiping away your hot tears. âSave your tears for later, sweetheart.â
âWhy?â You clear your throat.
He sighs, the aftermath of the effort from the activity settling on him, and places a chaste kiss on your sweaty temple. âDid I tell you that my father invited us to dinner tomorrow night?â
âNo,â you shake your head, âbut whatâs the link?â
âDonât you understand?â he murmurs in your ear, butterflies fluttering in your stomach. âIt doesnât matter. Youâll understand in time.â

âI see. So it was an unexpected encounter.â Gojoâs father nods, shrugging his shoulders. âBut I wonder how a woman like you can have feelings for such a foolâŠâ
Satoru chokes on a piece of meat heâs chewing and takes a sip of his water. You stifle a giggle, with some steamed vegetables speared on your fork, just waiting for you to devour them. For a man who appears so stern and strict, Mr. Gojo is quite a wealthy man who spends his days reprimanding his son for not doing this or that.
Yet, thereâs a certain paternal camaraderie between them â a father-son relationship, if you will.
âThatâs not true,â Satoru retorts, his voice still gravelly. He has an adorable pout on his lips, like a child wrongly scolded.
âYes, like youâre not a womanizer,â his father retorts, rolling his eyes.
âIt was so youâd leave me alone,â with furrowed brows, he wears a mischievous smile at his fatherâs incredulous expression, âbut sweetheart came into my life,â he continues, looking at you with a tenderness he has rarely shown.
âI hope you manage to put up with him until⊠well, until you decide to marry â if thatâs what you choose,â his father sighs, turning his attention back to the dish in front of him.
âSatoru isnât a bad person, you know,â you start gently. âHe is certainly a thoughtless brat with grotesque immaturity,â Satoru almost spits out his water this time, and you continue with a wry smile, âbut he has a great sense of attention and unmatched generosity. I believe he will be a good husband, I assure you.â
âI must admit,â he says with a wise smile, his wrinkles less pronounced.
Satoru casually says your name, âYeah, yeah⊠By the way, could you pass me the salt, please?â
You freeze, while Satoruâs father suddenly looks up with an incredulous expression. âWho?â
And you smack your forehead with the palm of your hand.
°°°°
The cries of a newborn fill the room as, breathless and on the verge of fainting, the midwives congratulate you, bringing your second child wrapped in clean blankets at your request.
âHeâs beautifulâŠâ Satoru murmurs as he approaches you, leaning down to the tiny baby with his albino hair and blue eyes â his exact likeness. âThank you, my love, thank you, thank you, thank youâŠâ His voice breaks as you raise a weak, exhausted hand toward him, but with a serene smile on your lips as you whisper how much you love each other.
He immediately wraps his fingers around yours, your wedding rings sparkling as they brush together like stars sealed for eternity.
a/n: how i love desperate men, hihi! đ€ hope you all enjoyed this one-shot!

Viktor
The lab was especially lively that afternoon, with new ideas flowing among the team. You were conversing with a new colleague, a young enthusiast who seemed to have a knack for understanding complex concepts. His questions and comments kept you engaged, and you couldn't help but smile at his contagious energy.
From his desk, Viktor occasionally glanced up, observing the interaction. At first, he seemed focused on his own calculations, but every time your laughter echoed through the space, his hands paused over the paper, and his gaze slightly hardened.
After a while, he stood up with his careful stride and approached you and your colleague, placing a hand on the edge of the table where you were working.
"Excuse me, could you come with me for a moment? There's something we need to review together," Viktor said, his tone polite but with a firmness that didn't go unnoticed.
"Of course, Viktor, give me a second," you replied, finishing explaining one last detail before turning to him.
Viktor waited for you to stand up and guided you back to his desk. When you both were seated, he leaned slightly toward you, his eyes searching yours.
"It seemed like you were quite involved in your conversation," he commented, trying to maintain a casual tone but failing to hide the hint of jealousy in his gaze.
"I was just explaining some of the previous projects," you said, gently touching his hand to calm him. "Nothing I can't share with you."
Viktor nodded, relaxing slightly at your touch, but he didn't let the subject drop so easily.
"I'm glad to hear that. Sometimes, it's easy to forget that there are things only we share, isn't it?"
His voice was soft, but the intensity of his words made your heart beat a little faster. You knew Viktor rarely showed his emotions so openly, and seeing that protective side of him was something you couldn't ignore.
"Viktor," you said, smiling and intertwining your fingers with his. "You know you're always the first person I think of when something excites me. No one can replace you."
The shadow of jealousy that had been haunting him slowly faded, replaced by a slight smile that barely curved his lips. Viktor leaned in a bit more, leaving a soft kiss on your cheek, a caress that spoke of the trust he had in you.
"I know," he whispered. "I just needed to remind myself."
Jinx
The air in the Undercity was thick with smoke and raucous laughter as you made your way into an underground club with Jinx. The vibrant music filled the space, and the crowd moved like a wild tide. You had come with Jinx to get distracted, but soon found yourself caught up in a conversation with an old acquaintance. His words were lively, but your attention was divided between him and the flashes of blue in the background, where Jinx was watching.
Jinx stayed in the shadows, her bright blue eyes shining intensely as she watched you laugh and chat with someone else. Her jaw was tense, and her fingers nervously played with a grenade she had pulled from her belt. Jealousy boiled inside her, mixed with a latent fear that she might lose you.
When the man placed a hand on your arm to emphasize his point, Jinx could no longer hold herself back. She cut through the crowd with the agility of a predator, her presence drawing attention as she advanced toward you.
"Hey! How about you get lost before things get ugly?" Jinx interrupted the conversation with a smile that didnât reach her eyes, her voice laden with a barely concealed threat.
The man quickly stepped away, recognizing the danger in Jinx's tone. He had barely disappeared into the crowd when Jinx grabbed your wrist, pulling you toward a less crowded corner of the club.
"What the hell was that?" you asked, surprised by her abruptness.
Jinx stared at you, her eyes reflecting a storm of emotions. "I didnât like how he looked at you. I didnât like how he touched you. Youâre mine, understand? Only mine."
The intensity in her voice took your breath away. It was as if her whole world revolved around you, and the idea of sharing you with someone else drove her mad.
"Jinx..." you began, trying to calm her, but she was already moving closer, her hands on your hips, pressing you against the wall.
"I donât care if Iâm too much. I donât care if you think Iâm crazy. I canât stand the idea of someone else trying to have whatâs mine," she whispered, her lips inches from yours.
"Jinx," you said softly, cupping her face in your hands. "I understand how you feel, but you can't act like this or treat people that way. You have to trust me. Iâll never leave you, but you have to believe in us. You have to believe in me."
Her eyes softened for a moment, and she nodded slightly, her breathing still heavy but beginning to calm.
Her words were a whirlwind of passion and possessiveness, and before you could respond, her lips found yours in a fierce kiss, filled with need and latent desperation. Her body trembled against yours, and you felt the chaos of her emotions spilling into every movement.
When she finally pulled away, her eyes searched yours, pleading and vulnerable. "Promise me you'll always stay with me. That youâll never let anyone come between us."
"Jinx, I could never want anyone else," you said, stroking her cheek gently. "Iâm here, and I always will be."
Jinx closed her eyes, resting her forehead against yours as her breathing steadied. "I love you... too much."
Vi
The atmosphere in the alley was charged with electricity. The crowd gathered around the makeshift fight ring, silently placing bets as they watched the imminent confrontation. You knew what Vi did, what she had done her entire life. Adrenaline coursed through her veins, and anticipation wrapped around her like a shadow. But this time, something was different.
Beside you, Vi was ready, her gloves tightened, muscles tense beneath her shirt. The fierce look she shot at the man in front of her was nothing new; they had seen it dozens of times. But this time, something shifted in the air. Maybe it was the way she glanced at you, as if trying to make sure you were okay before the fight began. But you knew the man facing her wasnât just another opponent. He was a guy with bad intentions and an overly confident smirk.
"Hey there, pretty," the man approached you with a smooth tone, his gaze far too bold as he caught you off guard. "Surely, youâve got more to offer than just standing here watching your girl fight, right? Why donât you come with me after this? I can make you forget all this chaos."
You didnât expect that attitude, and your discomfort was evident, though you didnât want to make a scene. You tried to keep calm, but the weight of the situation crept over you. However, before you could respond, the man gave your arm a touch, seeking your attention, breaking your personal space.
Vi didnât think for another second.
With a low growl, like a caged beast, she approached him. Her eyes gleamed with fury, her body tense, ready to strike, but before she could, the man sneered.
"Whatâs the matter, sweetheart? Bothered by a little distraction?" the man taunted, his tone more provoking than sympathetic, as if testing how far Viâs patience could stretch.
"I suggest you walk away," Vi snarled, the rage bubbling in her voice, as she stepped closer, her muscles marking a clear threat that she wouldnât let anyone touch what was hers. But the man didnât give her the chance to do anything. With a provoking smile, he tried to step closer to you, completely ignoring Vi.
Before he could get any nearer, Vi shoved him back with a sharp punch that echoed through the place. "Iâm the only one who touches her!" Viâs voice boomed with such intensity that the air seemed to freeze.
The crowd shuddered, expectant. The guy, who thought his attitude could intimidate, now found himself cornered by Viâs fierce rivalry, his previously confident eyes now filled with a mix of surprise and fear.
"I told you to walk away," Vi repeated, her tone so grave that the man had no choice but to retreat.
The fight began.
The crowd dispersed as the bets continued, but Vi saw nothing beyond her target. Every punch she threw at her opponent was filled with fury. She wasnât just fighting for money or respect; she was fighting for you. The idea of someone daring to look at you, touch you, think they could make you theirs, drove her to lose control in a dangerous way.
The man tried to fight back, but Vi, with her agility and strength, knocked him down once again, this time with a punch so powerful that the sound of the impact echoed in everyoneâs ears. In seconds, he was already on the ground, defeated, and Vi stared down at him before turning toward you.
Your heart pounded as you watched the scene. Vi was drenched in sweat, breathing heavily, but her gaze was solely on you.
Vi walked toward you with the swagger of someone who had just won, her smile full of pride.
"Did you enjoy the show?" she asked, her tone softer but still carrying a hint of challenge.
"You really love putting on a show, donât you?" you responded sarcastically, a playful smirk forming as you wrapped your arms around her.
Vi leaned in, her eyes darkening with intensity. "Itâs not about the show," she murmured, her voice low and fierce. "I canât stand anyone touching you or even thinking they can get close to you."
A grin tugged at your lips. "I love it when you get possessive," you whispered, your gaze locked with hers.
Viâs expression shifted to one of amused delight before she pulled you into a wild, passionate kiss. "Youâre mine," she growled against your lips, the ferocity of her claim sending a shiver down your spine.
You kissed her back just as fiercely, your hands tangling in her hair. "And youâre mine," you declared, your voice firm with equal possessiveness. The world around you faded into irrelevance, leaving only the two of you, caught in a storm of desire and fierce loyalty.
Caitlyn
The elegant gala in Piltover had unfolded without incident, as expected from an event of such magnitude. The city's high society was enjoying the evening, and you, as a special guest, were no exception. Caitlyn, always poised and reserved, had invited you to accompany her, and in her role as hostess, she was the center of many conversations. However, your presence hadnât gone unnoticed by a few.
The soft murmur of conversation turned into something more charged when a man you hadnât seen before approached with a calculated smile. Clearly part of the elite, he had an impeccable demeanor and the gaze of someone who knew how to get what he wanted.
"Excuse me, I couldnât help but notice how stunning you look tonight," the man said, smiling with a tone as smooth as it was dangerous. "I havenât had the pleasure of meeting you, but I believe Iâd like to. Would you care to join me for a quieter drink? Perhaps we could find a more secluded spot to chat."
You quickly noticed his tone was more than a simple invitation, bordering on an insinuation that made you uncomfortable. You tried to smile politely, but before you could respond, you felt Caitlynâs presence next to you.
Caitlynâs response was cold as ice, but instead of speaking, she closed the distance between you and her with a grace that turned every head in the room. She placed a gentle yet firm hand on your waist, pulling you close, and pressed a tender kiss to your forehead. The simple act silenced the murmurs around you, establishing her claim without a single word.
Turning to the man, Caitlynâs voice was soft but carried a steely edge. "My partner isnât interested in your offer," she said with a calm, unwavering gaze that could cut glass.
The manâs smile faltered but quickly returned, broader and more calculated. "Surely, she can speak for herself. Maybe sheâs just being polite."
Caitlynâs expression didnât waver, but there was a glint of sharp amusement in her eyes. "I wonât repeat myself. The invitation is declined," she said, her voice like silk wrapped around steel. She took a step closer, her eyes narrowing slightly as she continued, "And Iâve heard whispers about certain irregularities in your financial dealings. Iâm sure you wouldnât want me to take a closer look, would you?"
The man's face paled as the words settled in, his bravado crumbling under the weight of Caitlynâs veiled threat. Without another word, he mumbled an apology and quickly melted back into the crowd.
Once he was out of sight, you couldnât help but chuckle softly. "You can be a bit extreme sometimes, you know that?"
Caitlyn turned to you, her eyes softening as a small smile curved her lips. "When it comes to you, Iâll do anything. I would go to any lengths for you."
Caitlynâs words hung in the air, and without another thought, she gently pressed her forehead against yours, closing her eyes in a quiet, tender moment. The world around you seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of you in the stillness. It was a gesture of love, of connection, so intimate that nothing else mattered. Slowly, she whispered, "I love you."
"I love you too," you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper as you held her close, both of you savoring the shared warmth and affection.
After a beat, you pulled back slightly, your eyes glinting with mischief. "But the event must go on, right? You canât let one old, pretentious, corrupt man ruin your mood."
Caitlyn chuckled softly, the faintest blush rising on her cheeks as she glanced away, clearly embarrassed by the playful suggestion. "You really know how to make me laugh," she said, a genuine smile pulling at her lips as her usual composure returned.
"You have to show them how well Caitlyn Kiramman performs as a host," you teased, your voice playful. "A night like this is your stage, and that man doesnât deserve to ruin the performance. Besides, you canât let anyone think they can just mess with you."
Her laughter filled the air, and Caitlyn couldnât help but shake her head at your teasing, the blush still present on her cheeks. Taking your arm with an elegant, almost theatrical gesture, she smiled at you. "Alright, letâs show them how itâs done," she said, the regal composure she always exuded returning in full force.
As you both walked away, side by side, the night unfolded once more, but it was clearânothing, not even the interruption of a rude guest, could take away from the quiet, unspoken bond between the two of you.
Jayce
The night stretched on, filled with bright lights, laughter, and glasses of wine being raised in what seemed to be an exclusive gala of Piltover's high society. The crowd, elegant and wealthy, flowed through the hallways, engaging in lively conversations about scientific and political advancements, but you couldnât help feeling out of place amidst so much luxury.
Jayce, always by your side, looked every bit the perfect gentleman in his perfectly tailored suit, smiling, but with a slight shadow of concentration that betrayed the way he observed the surroundings. As if he were seeing beyond the faces, detecting every detail. His fingers rested gently on your lower back as he guided you through the crowd, protecting you from any uncomfortable glance or word.
âCome on, itâs fine,â he said, smiling at you tenderly. âJust a little more patience, then weâll leave.â
Before you could respond, a man, someone who clearly wasnât unfamiliar to you due to his overly flashy style and even more obvious intentions, arrogantly approached, interrupting your conversation with Jayce.
âWhat a pleasure to see you here. The beauty of Piltover doesnât stop at inventions, does it?â the man said in an excessively flattering tone, his eyes clearly evaluating you in an uncomfortable way. The way he approached wasnât that of a friend or acquaintance, but rather of someone who was clearly interested in something more. He came too close, not to greet you in a friendly manner, but as if he were recruiting you for something you didnât want.
You felt the growing discomfort in your chest. But before you could say anything, you felt Jayceâs presence beside you. Somehow, without the man saying another word, the space between him and you seemed to shrink. Jayce didnât show aggression, but the aura of power that emanated from him was enough to make anyone think twice before continuing.
âWell, who would have thought tonightâs gala would be so⊠interesting?â Jayce said with a smile that didnât reach his eyes, observing the man as if evaluating him from head to toe. âI wonder if your compliments are as easy to come by as they seem, or if itâs simply an innate talent of yours.â
The man stood silent for a moment, unsure of how to respond. Jayce wasnât looking at him with disdain, but with a smile that was almost kind, though it left no room for doubt: he wasnât welcome.
âYou know,â Jayce continued in a soft voice, but with a hint of mischief that only he knew how to wield, âI think my lady here, doesnât need any more empty compliments from someone whoâs only interested in the surface. Sheâs here for her intelligence, for what she brings to the city. And I think that⊠is far more attractive than any cheap remark you could make.â
The man, caught by Jayceâs passive-aggressive tone, hurried to apologize and walked away, unsure of how to defend himself against the elegant subtlety with which Jayce had disarmed him.
Once the politician had gone, Jayce turned to you with a warmer smile, his eyes softening when he saw that you had remained silent, a little tense from the exchange.
âIâm sorry,â he said gently, caressing your arm delicately. âI donât like it when youâre bothered, but you know I wonât let someone so⊠bland⊠get close to you like that.â
You smiled, relieved by his intervention but also a little overwhelmed by how perceptive he had been. âThank you, Jayce. I didnât know how⊠to handle the situation.â
He smiled tenderly, his eyes shining with confidence, as always. âYou donât have to,â he said as he got closer, gently cupping your face. He looked at you intently, and without warning, placed a soft kiss on your cheek, the gesture so full of affection that it made your heart skip a beat.
âBut if you ever need help getting someone to leave you alone, you know Iâll always be here,â he said, his voice filled with sweetness and protection.
And as you continued walking through the gala, with the gentleness of his touch and his firm presence, you felt that, despite the challenges you sometimes faced, you had someone who knew how to handle any situation without losing his class or his affection.
Ekko
You're walking through the streets of the Undercity, a place known both for its decadent beauty and constant danger. Today seems to be one of those days when the city has a somewhat more chaotic air, but somehow, you feel more at peace than ever with him by your side. Ekko, as always, accompanies you with his relaxed attitude and that confident smile that rarely disappears from his face.
Suddenly, an unknown man appears out of nowhere, interrupting your conversation with Ekko. He gives you a blatant, shameless look, approaching you with the obvious intention of grabbing your attention. Heâs the type who clearly believes he can have you with just a few words.
âWell, what do we have here?â he says, with a smug smile. âA beauty like you around here? I canât imagine why someone so special is wasting their time with a guy like him.â He looks at Ekko, then shifts his gaze back to you. âIâm sure you and I could do great things together. What do you say? I could show you what it really means to live.â
Before you can respond, you notice Ekko, apparently unfazed by the situation. He stops, lets out a light laugh, and approaches, observing the guy with an expression that clearly shows heâs taking the situation as a joke.
âSeriously?â Ekko says in a playful tone, as if he were watching some kind of comedy show. âSo, youâre offering my girl âwhat it really means to liveâ? Let me tell you something, buddy: if she really looked at you, youâd know youâre not even close to being âa big deal.ââ
The stranger stands there a bit stunned, clearly not expecting such a direct response. Ekko continues, not wasting a second. âYou know what? Donât worry, I wonât waste your time. Iâm sure you and your âgreat proposalsâ have an audience somewhere else, but⊠seriously, I recommend you stop wasting your breath here.â
The guy seems confused, and seeing that Ekko isnât remotely jealous or concerned, he tries to change his tactic. âCome on, donât be like that, I was just being nice. Iâm sure you donât mind a little competition, right?â
Ekko looks at him with a wide grin, but itâs clear heâs taking nothing seriously. âCompetition? Was that a threat or a joke? Because, seriously, if you thought Iâd be worried, I think youâve misunderstood everything. I donât know if youâre used to dealing with people who donât know what they want, but let me clarify something: donât waste my time, buddy.â
The guy seems to finally understand that heâs not going to get anywhere and, somewhat embarrassed, walks away quickly, mumbling something incomprehensible as he retreats.
Ekko, seeing him leave, turns to you with a mocking smile. âSee? He didnât even bother to keep going. Like someone like him had a chance.â
You laugh at his carefree attitude and move a little closer to him, gently touching his arm. âDoesnât it really bother you when someone approaches me like that?â
Ekko places a hand on his chest, acting as if heâs deeply hurt. âBother me? No, not at all. Iâm so sure of myself and what we have that those things donât affect me.â Then, he smiles knowingly. âBesides, you know thereâs nothing that guy could do to win me over. If you cared about anything else, youâd already know.â
You look into his eyes and, with a playful gesture, touch his cheek. âI donât know if itâs confidence or arrogance, but I like it.â
Ekko laughs softly before leaning in a little closer to you. âWhat you like, girl, is that Iâm the only one who can make you laugh even in the most ridiculous situations. And if thatâs not what matters, I donât know what does.â
Suddenly, he leans in and gives you a soft kiss on the cheek, as if itâs as natural as breathing. âCome on, letâs not waste any more time with guys like him. Letâs do something better. But beforeâŠâ He stops for a moment, his playful gaze fixed on you. âTell me, when did I learn to become this irresistible?â
The situation lightens with his relaxed attitude, and the confidence he has in what you two share makes you smile. With Ekko, thereâs no room for doubt or worry. He knows what he has and how to handle anything that comes his way.
Silco
The meeting room is thick with the heavy atmosphere of a business that has no place in the light of day. The men around you are shadowed figures, accustomed to the illegality that runs like poison through the veins of the Undercity. Silco sits at the head of the table, his presence a shadow that dominates the space, and youâre beside him, as always. No one dares to look beyond his presence, and everyone knows that itâs not just his partner who must be respected, but you as well.
Youâre his, thatâs what everyone thinks. No one dares to say it out loud, but itâs clear in the air. The way he treats you, how he keeps you close to him at all times, how his gaze never leaves you. Silco doesnât speak of what is obvious, but everyone knows. You are his in a way that no one dares question.
The meeting is tense, filled with discussions about contracts and dirty deals, but the tone shifts quickly when Finn, one of Silcoâs oldest and most dangerous partners, leans back in his chair with a cocky grin. This guyâs been in the business for years and isnât intimidated by the threat Silco represents. But this time, heâs gone too far.
âYou know, Silco,â Finn begins, twirling a cigarette between his fingers, a mocking smirk on his face. âI think itâs a waste to have this beauty always by your side and not put her to work properly.â His laugh is bitter, full of malice, and his eyes fix on you with an unsettling intensity. âHow about you let me borrow her for a day? Or better yet... how much would I have to pay to spend a night with her? You must be making a good amount from such a treasure, right?â
The air freezes instantly. The room falls silent, and even the toughest men know that a very fine line has just been crossed. Silco doesnât speak for a moment; thereâs something about his calmness thatâs terrifying, a calm that always precedes a storm.
Silco slowly raises his head, his dark eyes fixed on Finn, his gaze as cold as steel. His face remains unchanged, but the atmosphere around him grows thick, dangerous.
The silence is absolute, and all eyes are on Finn, who is now visibly uncomfortable. However, Silco doesnât budge. At that precise moment, his gaze shifts toward Sevika, his right-hand woman, who stands by the wall. Sevikaâs imposing figure doesnât need words to understand her bossâs intention. Silco gives her an imperceptible nod, and in an instant, Sevika moves with lethal speed.
In the blink of an eye, Finn is at the table, a loud thud fills the room as Sevika slams him against the surface, his face now smashed against it. Everyone watches in silence, as if the very air has stopped, knowing that Silcoâs simple gesture has activated the kind of violence that should always be avoided in his presence.
âIâd suggest you think very carefully before you speak, Finn,â Silco says calmly, his gaze fixed on the humiliated man. âBecause I donât like anyone questioning what belongs to me, and certainly not disrespecting it like that.â
Finn staggers, slowly getting up, embarrassed and frightened. However, itâs not enough. Silco looks at him as though heâs observing a pest, and his tone is all Finn needs to understand this is his final warning.
âNow, apologize to her,â Silco orders, his voice almost a whisper of pure threat. âAnd do it in a way that reminds you how low youâve fallen, because Iâm not willing to tolerate such disrespect in my territory.â
The room is in absolute silence. The tension could be cut with a knife, and all present, even the toughest men, donât dare make a single move. Finn, trembling, has no choice but to give in. He turns toward you, his face conflicted but clearly defeated, and his voice, full of humiliation, rises in the air. You almost felt sorry for him.
âI⊠Iâm sorry,â he murmurs, shame and fear evident on his face. âI shouldnât have spoken like that. I apologize.â
Silco doesnât say anything, but his expression says it all. Itâs a clear message: never again.
After a few seconds, the situation lightens slightly. Silco returns to his seat, and the room resumes its usual rhythm, though the fear still lingers in the air. No one will dare challenge him again.
When the tension finally dissipates, Silco turns toward you, and his gaze softens when he sees that youâre unharmed, calm. Thereâs an intensity in his look, a protective possessiveness that never fades. He takes your hand firmly, guiding you toward the exit of the room without saying another word.
Silco is not a man who needs to explain his gestures. His presence, his actions, speak for him. In his world, no one touches what belongs to him, and anyone who does will learn, like Finn, what it truly means to cross the line.
Mel
The council meeting is at its most tense, with politicians and businesspeople discussing agreements, but something in the air changes when a man, one of the most influential businessmen, dares to flirt with you. He leans toward you with an arrogant smile, throwing out bold comments.
"Iâve always wondered how someone as... attractive as you ends up next to a woman as cold as Mel," he says with a smile. "How about we grab a coffee later? Iâm sure we could talk about things much more interesting than this boring meeting."
Silence spreads across the room. Everyone watches the situation, but Mel doesnât change her posture. She stays silent, but the tension in her body is palpable. Something in the air tells you this is not a game sheâs willing to tolerate.
"Do you dare talk about her like that?" Mel finally speaks, her tone soft but laced with threat. "Last time I checked, this meeting wasnât a place for cheap advances."
The man, who had been confident, now looks visibly uncomfortable. "If you speak like that again, I assure you, it wonât be coffee youâll be having, but a much... bitterer deal."
The threat is clear. All eyes focus on the man, who now seems small and uncomfortable. Mel doesnât need to raise her voice for everyone to feel the weight of her authority.
"My apologies," he murmurs, embarrassed, not daring to look at them.
Mel responds with a cold smile. "I suggest you remember whoâs really in control here."
The man nods quickly, speechless. Mel turns toward you, her calculating gaze fixed on you.
"Are you okay?" she asks, and though the question is soft, you know itâs a reminder that no one, not even him, will dare approach you in that way again.
You nod, feeling the security that only Mel can provide. No one will touch whatâs hers.
"Letâs go," Mel says, rising gracefully. "Weâve got work to do."
The dynamic has shifted, and the room remains silent, but everyone knows Mel has made it clear who holds the power. You, being hers, are not only protected by her power but by her cunning and absolute control.
As you both leave the room, Mel stops at the threshold, looking at you with an almost evaluative expression.
"And donât forget," she says quietly, "this is not just for you. Itâs for everything you represent." She gives you a look that seems to assess your reaction, as if making sure you understand whatâs at stake. "This is just the beginning."
The hallway is silent, but when you both take another step, Mel turns to you with a smile that, although subtle, carries a hint of satisfaction. "Never let anyone underestimate you, especially when they have no idea what they could lose."
She looks at you for a moment, and you realize that, beneath her power and control, thereâs something else... something tender.
"I care for you because youâre mine," she whispers, but not possessivelyâmore like a promise, as if sheâs telling you that in this world of chaos, she will always be your refuge.
Before you can respond, Mel leans slightly toward you, capturing your lips in a soft kiss, but one full of intensity that leaves you breathless. Itâs a short kiss, but enough to convey everything that canât be said in words. The contact is warm, protective, and for the first time in a long time, you feel completely safe in her arms.
When she pulls away, her eyes seek yours with the unwavering confidence sheâs always had, but now with something more. "Donât forget this," she says, lightly touching your face. "No matter what happens, youâll always be mine."
With a smile, she takes your hand, and without saying another word, you both continue walking.
Sevika
The hustle and bustle of the streets of Zaun echoes in the distance, but inside the tavern, the atmosphere is dense, heavy. The man approaches the table with that confident look, not as subtle as he thinks, and his words slide out like sweet poison.
"Well, who are you?" he says, smiling as his eyes boldly scan your figure. "A woman so brilliant, so... stunning, in a place like this."
Sevika doesnât flinch, but you can see the tension ripple through her body, as if something dangerous is about to explode. Her eyes, cold as steel, follow the man while he continues talking, completely unaware of the danger heâs creating.
"Iâm sure thereâs more behind that facade," he says, getting closer, his voice too near your ear. "A beauty so rare, so unique, canât just be a pretty face."
The discomfort grows inside you, but itâs Sevika who feels it first. Her expression shifts from calm to contained fury. She looks at you for a moment, as if asking for permission to act, and when your eyes meet, you know the situation is about to turn dangerous.
The man persists, but Sevika wonât tolerate it anymore. She stands up, her boots echoing on the floor with a firmness that makes everyone fall silent. Her words come out as a whisper, but they are loaded with a threat that everyone feels.
"If you donât leave right now, Iâll make you wish you were never born," she says, her voice low, but her deadly tone unmistakable.
The man steps back, and his eyes finally show fear. Sevika gives him no space to react, her presence crushes him, forcing him to step back, and without saying another word, the man turns and disappears into the crowd, his ego shattered by Sevika's imposing figure.
She returns to her seat, the calm returning to her face, though the intensity of her gaze doesnât fade. She looks at you, and for the first time, her lips curve into a smile thatâs anything but kind. Itâs pure possessiveness, a warning without words.
"Does it bother you when someone gets that close to you?" she asks, her tone almost playful, as if testing your limits.
You look at her, feeling the heat in your chest. Thereâs no fear, only confidence, because you know youâll always have your strong, powerful woman by your side to protect you, to defend you from anything that tries to break the bubble youâve built with her. You move closer slowly, her eyes never leaving yours.
"I feel fine," you reply with a seductive smile, letting your words linger between the two of you. "I know Iâll always have youâmy strong, fierce, and captivating woman, who will always protect me." You flirt as you settle comfortably in her lap.
Sevika raises an eyebrow, a playful yet dangerous smile curling on her lips. Her hot breath brushes against your neck. "Good that you know," she whispers, her voice low and raspy, laden with a desire only you can understand. "Because as long as Iâm by your side, no one will touch you. And the best part... is that you donât even have to ask. Iâll take care of them in an instant."
"Youâre so extra," you smile, biting her muscled arm playfully.
"Do you always have to do that?" she asks, not annoyed but intrigued, her hand gently petting your head.
"What can I say?" you reply with a teasing glint in your eyes. "It turns me on seeing you so jealous and possessive over me."
She growls softly, then grabs her beer, finishing it in one swift motion. Her gaze sharpens as she takes your hand.
"I think itâs time to head home," she says, her voice dripping with intent. "I plan to make the most of this behavior of yours while I can."
Sevika intertwines her fingers with yours, a silent promise that no one and nothing will dare cross that line. As the noise of the tavern continues, you and Sevika are momentarily isolated in your own world of protection, passion, and controlâwhere only she holds the power to keep you safe.

imagine dating spencer and you come to visit or something and make him so distracted that he literally canât info dump on something and the rest of the team is just shocked
yes yes, a hundred times yes đ€ thank you so much!
catching a glimpse of yourself in the elevator mirror was the last thing you needed right now. you were covered in paint, your dungarees showing up every coloured streak and hand print against the light denim. you're sure there's paint in your hair but you don't have time to dwell on it, you're late
you'd got stressed, painting your boyfriends apartment on your own, lost track of time and then didn't have the time to change before running out of the apartment, just about managing to remember to grab yours and spencer's lunch on the way
"i'm so sorry i'm late," you sigh and frown as you rush through the bullpen to the collection of desks you're oh so familiar with, "please excuse the state of me,"
spencer turns at the sound of your voice, "hi sweetheart," he hums, looking up at you just as you dip to kiss him quickly before pushing the bag of food onto his lap
"hey," you smile softly at your boyfriend before turning to his colleagues, "hey guys, how are we all?" you ask, getting a mixed bunch of replies back
"how's painting?" derek laughs, looking at your appearance and the state of your clothes
you slide onto spencer's desk, pulling your legs up to sit cross legged, "standing six feet up a ladder trying to hold a tray of paint and a brush is hard, i've nearly fallen off twice," you huff,
spencer hands you the sandwich he knows is yours and then seemingly looks at you properly for the first time since you've been there, "hey," he says, almost breathlessly
"hello?" you question, head tilting slightly, "you've already said hi," you say, looking at emily and jj who just snicker and shrug their shoulders but spencer doesn't reply, "oh before i forget!"
your boyfriend watches you carefully as you produce a piece of paper from the tiny pocket on the front of your dungarees, flapping it around to unfold it, your other hand busy clutching your food
"the living room is next, i need to know how much paint to buy," you explain, handing the paper to him, "the cans are one litre or five litres, i can't figure it out"
truth be told you hadn't bothered to try and work it out, knowing spencer would be able to reel off the answer like it's nothing, naturally, he knew the exact measurements of every wall in his house
the boy stares up at you blankly, big brown eyes soft and sparkly. your cheeks heat up under his gaze, your eyebrows raising slightly, "spence?" you nudge him with your knee
he jumps ever so slightly, his head shaking a bit, "hmm?" he asks before only just registering you've handed him something, his eyes scan over it, "oh!" he blushes, turning his chair to face his desk
"what colour are you doing the living room?" jj asks while she stabs at her salad like it's offending her. you'd consulted the girls with all of the decorating developments.
"a light brown i think, we have so much to hang on the walls," you pause to swallow, "so something neutral," you finish with a slight nod
a door opening to your side grabs your attention, aaron coming out of his office with his lunch. he comes down into the bullpen, sitting on the edge of emily's desk, "the paint fighting back?" he asks you, slight smile creeping over his face
you roll your eyes at him, playfully, while the other laugh at your expense, "very funny but i don't see any of you offering to help"
penelope scoffs, "actually, i did" and she was right, however her idea of getting wine drunk and decorating had been quickly shut down by spencer, the only input he's actually offered up in the whole process
giggling, you turn back to your boyfriend who's been far too quiet, "boy wonder?" you say gently, pushing your fingers through his hair, "got an answer for me?"
usually he would have an answer within seconds, his minutes of silence making you frown, he turns to you with the same frown painted across his face, "i don't know," he says
people around you gasp, loudly too, "what do you mean, you don't know?" emily almost chokes on her lunch, sitting forward to gawp at the boy
"i do not know how much paint we need" he confirms
derek scrambles, pulling his phone out of his pocket, "say it again, i need record of this moment" he pleads while garcia smacks him
"well there's a first," david says, wandering over after hearing spencer say i don't know for possibly the first time, ever
your boy stares at the paper in his hand and then up at you, confused, "i have to go and work it out, excuse me" he says, rushed, as he stands and takes off towards circle table room
after a moment of shocked silence you turn to the team who are all staring directly at you, "i'll go check on him, i wonder what's wrong?" you say to no one in particular as you hop off of the desk
"i think i know," jj sing songs and the others hum in agreement as you hop up the stairs and along the walkway into the room.
when you get into the room spencer is stood in front of the biggest whiteboard you've possibly ever seen, marker in hand though the board is still empty of his handwriting
"spence? angel?" you say quietly, staring at his back as he starts to write the measurements of the walls in his living room, "everything alright?"
he hums, not turning to look at you as he continues to work through the problem, "yeah, fine, just can't think properly when you're around," he admits, "not when you look like that," he turns slightly to look at you
"oh, do you want me to leave?" you're sad, its obvious in your voice. nervously you start fiddling with the sleeves of your sweatshirt
your boyfriend gasps, "no, no, honey that's not what i meant!" he says, holding his arm out. you slide into the space, head resting on his shoulder, "you're so beautiful and i love you so much, so so much, my brain just switches off when youâre around"
"really?" you giggle, looking up at him. he hums and nods his head, a light blush rushes up his neck before taking over his cheeks, "i love you too,"
he's taller than you, forcing you onto your tip toes to kiss him, not caring when someone, emily, whoops from the bullpen. gentle hands squeeze at your waist, while you hold his face with one hand, the other resting on his shoulder
"three litres," spencer mumbles against your mouth, you pull away with a sight hum, forgetting what you'd asked of him, "you need three but it's cheaper to just buy five and have left over, now come back" he huffs, his arm wrapping tighter around you to pull you back in for another kiss
thanks for reading! remember to like! reblog! and comment! iâll give you a smooch if you do, ily!! send prompts to my ask box!

who are your boyfriend?
Even though you talk a lot about your sweet boyfriend, people don't understand the sign.
Warnins: English is not my first language, there will probably be mistakes, I'm more grammatically correct in my language I swear lol, f!reader, just a silly idea I had.
You're a person who talks a lot about your boyfriend, not that it's your intention to show him off or look like you're obsessed with him (maybe a little), but still, it seems inevitable to quote Jason Todd in your social circles, especially in the work.
It's a good work environment, your colleagues are nice, and you like to be communicative. However, the new co-worker, Adam, seems to be a little too friendly, your colleagues have already noticed this, but you dont notice this, lost in your own thoughts about your boyfriend.
The thing is, Adam has concluded that your boyfriend is an idiot, he listens to you talking about him, and the only conclusion he can draw is that you're dating a stupid nerd who lives in his mother's basement. It started weeks ago when you arrived with a jar of colorful cookies, offering it to your colleagues with a silly smile and saying.
"Jaybean did, does anyone want it? It's his grandfather's recipe"
Adam laughed internally at that. It wasn't right, you were too pretty to date such a weird guy who was definitely supposed to be short, skinny and silly, what kind of man cooked colored cookies? Or even worse, let yourself be called a "jaybean"?
The next day, he overheard you talking to your friend, in a worried tone, about how your boyfriend was about having physically fought with his younger brother, which only added to the comical image Adam had of his boyfriend. Definitely the guy was a banana. What kind of guy would let his little brother hit him?
Around the football season, Adam decided to show you what a real man was and ask you out, showing you the tickets he got. He called you a doll, which you registered with a slight frown.
"um, thanks Adam, but my boyfriend doesn't like football very much. And this week we're going to an arts fair in New York."
Adam let out a stilted giggle that you didn't seem to notice, the thoughts of him again calling your boyfriend stupid. Seriously, art fair? Didn't like sports?
There were other, clearer signs of how pathetic your boyfriend was, according to Adam, like when you commented that he had sewn a blouse of yours. (you didn't say that Jaosn's talent with sewing came from the fact that he sewed his battle wounds himself). Or when you called him cute nicknames.
Adam wanted to show you what he really wanted to date a guy, a real man, who had muscuslos and knew how to beat someone to protect you.
The fuse for Adam was when he approached your desk and saw a book by Jane Austen and asked, avoiding making a face at such a syrupy book.
"Do you like classics, doll?"
You looked up from the computer where you typed, a slight smile on your lips as you stared at the book brevmenete.
"A little. My boyfriend likes it, so I promised I'd try to read it. I prefer fiction books"
Adam's face drooped, you were really dating a stupid guy, you deserved to meet a real man. He rested his hands on your desk and puffed out his chest.
"You know, doll, you can get more."
You blinked your eyes limply, confused.
"Excuse me?"
"There are men⊠for real."
There was an arrogant smile on Adam, which you didn't like, not at all. Your posture became tense, prepared to reject him, by hook or by crook. But a voice, hoarse and thick, woke you both from the uncomfortable exchange of looks.
"Am I getting in the way?"
Adam turned, his eyes narrowing at the sight. There was a tall guy, much taller than himself, who even in a leather jacket could see his muscles. The guy had messy black hair and scars that gave him a tough look, even his blue eyes seemed like a warning, a warning to stay away. Adam was about to ask what he was doing there when your voice came out loud and contented.
"Jaybird!"
Adam stood still, his mouth wide open as that intimidating man gave you a soft smile and squeezed your waist, a chaste kiss on the forehead. By no means was that guy stupid of your boyfriend.
"That's adam," you said, a half-annoyed expression on my face, which softened when she turned her eyes to Jason.
Jason just gave Adam a suspicious look, not bothering to spend time with him before grabbing your bag and giving you another kiss on the cheek, whispering.
"Ready to go, honey?"
You nodded, smiling. Saying goodbye with a slight nod to Adam, as you told for your sweet, gentle boyfriend about your day, whose acts were what really drew you in.
Just a silly thing I thought about while analyzing the things that betrayed me about Jason. Adam is just one of those guys who think women are attracted to things that â they â think should attract them. Jason is just a grandpa's little boy who has learned how to be a gentleman right under that rough surface.

It was pouring rain outside, it was one of those rainy summer days when you really missed your boyfriend, you wanted to be in his arms watching a movie or spying through his cell phone whatever he was doing. But he was busy, he couldnât visit you so often because he spent hours at the company, he arrived exhausted at his apartment which he shares with three other colleagues and friends; plus it was that season when coincidentally the rest of his seven co-workers and best friends were more glued to him since it was when they were hard at work on their new album, so being so close to them, they usually tend to be insistent and ask in detail what he does outside of work and Minho, your boyfriend, could not risk them finding out that there is something between you.
So, amidst the heavy rain, your perfect signal fell with it; Han Jisung, your brother and one of Minhoâs closest friends sent you a message, asking you for help with household activities in his apartment, blackmailing you while reminding you that he was the one giving you money, since heâs rich and an extremely important pop star and claiming that it was one of those days when they didnât go to the company and Chan took the opportunity to put the rest of them to clean their respective apartments. You honestly didnât think much of it, going to your brotherâs apartment would mean you would see Minho one way or another, despite living in different apartments, you were pretty sure you would be able to see him.
You thought it was strange that Minho didnât tell you that he didnât go to work today, you thought he must have been busy ordering Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin to clean their rooms like little kids since it was your boyfriend who was in charge of the place. So anyway, you decided not to tell him and see him as a surprise; you dressed up perfectly, you havenât seen him for days except through facetime and you really missed the closeness and smell of your man nearby.
You left your apartment and headed to the building of your older brother and his other almost older brothers, Chan, Changbin and Hyunjin and sighed as you passed through the wide hallway, the famous hallway reserved for the eight of them, only two doors on each side of the hallway, the place where they lived, you sighed, because you knew that Minho was probably in his apartment.
You knocked on the door, where a very confused Chan opened it for you, wearing comfortable clothes, with his curls and his face totally free of any traces of makeup.
âOh, hi, Y/N, I didnât know you were coming.â
His confused countenance gradually softened into a smile. He was confused as Han had authorized your entrance all the way to his door without previously letting anyone know you were coming.
âYeah, well neither did I...â
âCome on in, weâre just cleaning up a bit.â
âYeah, I know, thatâs just what Han calls me for, apparently.â
You walked in and even Chan couldnât help but watch you as you walked by, smelling your perfume and getting slightly lost in your bare legs through your short dress; which you were wearing only for, who they consider, your enemy.
âAgh, my dear sister whoâs going to help me do the laundry and dishes, how good you look, have you eaten yet?â said in a fake and dramatic tone your brother, greeting you with an exaggerated expression of excitement and hugging you, which he never does and was just overacting and being funny.
âFuck you, Hanâ you answered him as a joke, you were really there just to see Minho and you were starting to get desperate, you wanted to run into his arms and kiss his nose exactly where he had his little freckle.
Han changed his expression to an annoyed one as soon as he pulled away from you after his brief hug, âHey, watch your mouth, Iâm older remember. Also, why are you wearing so much perfume, are you wearing makeup?â
âI canât believe you brought your sister all the way here just to help youâ Chan interjected.
âHey, Y/N, nice to see youâ interrupted Hyunjin as he came out of his room and walked around the apartment.
âHiâ you replied sweetly smiling at Hyunjin.
âShe came to see me, itâs obviousâ you heard Changbin suddenly say, who came out of the laundry room, approaching Han and you.
Changbin winked at you and gently grabbed your waist, flirting and teasing you, making Hyunjin laugh. But Han didnât find it the least bit funny so he opened his big round eyes in shock, raising his eyebrows, ready to exclaim in his typical voice:
âYa, are you out of your mind? Get your dirty hands off my sister or Iâll kill you.â
Chan laughed at Hanâs reaction, who was also joking, since he fully trusted each of his friends and knew that they were just playing around, he knew that none of the men he lived with every day would touch you and Han had a strict rule of not trying anything with you, since you were the closest to them, all the time living with them, a rule which they all respected since at least four of them also had sisters and understood the seriousness of the situation... however it wasnât quite like that, Minho was the one who dared to touch you and would fuck you every day if only you could be together all the time and, for the rest, Minho was really the last option in the list of people who would even have anything to do with you, since for them, you two are enemies and hate each other. Plus Han would never agree to you dating any of his friends, you were strictly forbidden and he reminded them of that every chance he got.
Changbin let out a guilty chuckle and walked away from you.
âWell, I was assigned to do the dishes and laundry, please help me, my room is a mess, Iâll clean that up. Iâll buy you five Chanel bags, I promise, pleaseâ spoke your brother, you rolled your eyes and walked towards the kitchen without answering him.
Hours later, the night came and you finished without a problem, you handed the freshly washed clothes to each of them, you left the boysâ kitchen spotless and went a little frustrated to your brotherâs room to see what he was doing, he had finished cleaning too, tiredly you sat on his bed, each time losing hope of spontaneously seeing your boyfriend and surprising him, so you thought about going to the bathroom to send him a message, saying you were there and that if he had the rest of the night he should spend it with you, making a little drama by reproaching him for not telling you he would have the day off, supposedly, since you knew he might be cleaning.
âIâm thinking of buying another piece of furniture and putting it in...â started to tell you Han, pointing to a part of his room but you decided not to pay attention at all,
And suddenly a voice, a sound so familiar that it filled every part of your body with excitement, you heard in the distance the typical whine of your boyfriend, followed by his manly voice in a soft whine saying, âAgh, are you guys done already? I really didnât want to clean up today, why did you guys finish so soon?â
Han opened his eyes in surprise and looked at you with a bit of fear, he also recognized perfectly well that it was Minho.
âIs that Minho?â you asked suddenly, hiding every excited particle of your body, your heart pounding as if you were a young girl about to see her crush.
âOh no⊠if you want, Iâll get him out of here before he sees youâ Han replied and before you even thought how to stop him he was already leaving his room.
You quickly stood up and went after him.
âAh, Hannie, letâs go get some dinner and letâs all eat it in my apart...â spoke Minho cheerfully as he saw his friend coming out of the hallway but he didnât finish the sentence as his world stopped as he saw you coming out behind him.
And there he was, Lee Minho, looking as handsome as ever, in comfortable clothes and a bare face, his hair looking soft and shiny black. You had to contain your joy, feeling him so far away but so close at the same time; as did Minho, who held back with all his might a smile from his lips at the sight of you, instead, his expression tightened completely, furrowing his thick eyebrows, his thin lips pursed a little, his big eyes sharpened if that was possible, looking at you contemptuously and an irremediable tension for the rest of the guys formed in the atmosphere, they all looked at each other complicitly, amused and slightly worried, Chan, Changbin, Hyunjin and Han, moving their eyeballs quickly as they noticed you and Minho were looking at each other.
âWhat the fuck is she doing here?â spat Minho annoyed.
His tone and demeanor gave you goosebumps, just as it made your pussy throb, it really turned you on to see him upset, he looked so hot, you ran your eyes along his bare arms with your gaze, you wanted his veiny hands on your neck but you had to maintain your sanity and be tough, acting your best role, as Minhoâs enemy.
âMinho be nice...â Chan said softly.
âWith... that-her, never. Oh, and I see why you guys finished early. Thatâs unfair, you have a fucking maidâ said Minho again in annoyance.
âMinho...â your brother replied in his sternest tone and giving him a dirty look.
âActually, letâs all eat at Minhoâs, that sounds goodâ you finally spoke, walking and teasing your enemy.
âYou canât come into my apartmentâ Minho answered you, his eyes dark with desire as he saw how pretty you looked and it made him feel so good to know you were doing it for him.
You knew that look so well, so intimidating and wetting you in seconds; while for the rest it was a look of hatred and spite.
âIâm hungry, letâs eatâ Changbin added, approaching you two and gently squeezing your forearms as he saw that you seemed to have a staring contest, âCome on, maybe youâre just mad because youâre hungry.â
The story of you and Minho really was funny, you truly used to be enemies and hated each other; Minho met you when you were younger, for him, back in his trainee years, and instantly thought of you as a spoiled brat who was given absolutely everything, your voice irritated him, the way you acted, everything. You both had such similar personalities that you just couldnât manage to match each other... until years later, the big revelation fell on Minho with the intensity of a crash, he liked you, you were so cute all of sudden and he also suddenly fantasized about beating your ass to stopping you from being so badly behaved. Your start of romance was so fiery, as you were suddenly confused by his strange behavior, flirting with you while still being rude to you and, since then, a year ago that youâve been dating. And you decided to hide it for obvious reasons; although Minho had already told you that he had no problem claiming you as his own, that he loved to possess you and have you as his girlfriend, he loved the intensity in which you loved him.
And now acting like enemies in front of everyone and lovers in secret between just you two, became such an exciting game you couldnât stop, you lived for the mystery and the adrenaline of never getting caught, and when the guys started joking that âthose who hate each other end up falling in loveâ âliterally your situationâ, Minho would be really mean to you again, but he rewarded you so fucking well that you even forgot why he apologized. Sex after fake hard fights was always the best for you.
Changbin led everyone to Minhoâs apartment, everyone without truly thinking about why they followed him and the rest of the people who lived with Minho were surprised at the timely arrival of the rest of his friends and you.
âWoah, what is this? What are you guys doing here?â you watched Jeongin say in surprise as he slowly lowered the cell phone from his face.
The three of them were sitting on the couch in the living room, Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin, watching you enter with astonishment reflected on their faces.
âIt looked pretty serious the way they all came inâ Felix added smiling, âHello, Y/n.â
âYongbok donât say hello to her or Iâll kick you out of the apartmentâ replied Minho quickly.
âWhat do you guys want for dinner?â spoke Chan.
âYouâre not even invited to this house, plus Iâm still not done with my choresâ replied Minho directly to you, serious and a bit irritated.
âWhat you guys havenât done yet? Let us help you so you can finish soonâ spoke Chan kindly again.
âMinho hasnât done anything, he just kept bossing aroundâ Seungmin exposed him with a smile and pointing at him, causing a soft chuckle among his other two roommates.
âKim Seungmin, count your daysâ Minho hissed.
âA whole pile of clothes to be folded is waiting for him in his roomâ Seungmin joked again.
âShut up, Seungmin!â exclaimed your boyfriend.
âY/n should go help him, it would be fun to see them not fighting for five secondsâ commented Jeongin amused with his cocky tone and raising his eyebrows.
âNever, Iâd rather burn your clothesâ replied Minho.
âYes yes, put them both in punishmentâ exclaimed Seungmin with a huge smile on his face.
âFor all the nights they had their little fights every time we went outâ Changbin continued the joke.
Hyunjin and Felix laughed, Han and Chan watched you both with amusement.
âThereâs not going to be any more nights together because Iâm going to kill every single one of youâ mumbled your boyfriend.
You watched the scene, trying to be the strongest and hiding the immense urge you had to indeed see your boyfriend's room.
âNo wayâ Chan lifted his shoulders, âYou have to fulfill your duties...â
âOkay, okay, but who said I would agree to help him?â you spoke suddenly.
âOh, yeah, you both have to go while we order foodâ Changbin sentenced, waking over to you to gently push you.
âDo itâ you heard Han order you.
âJust because I seriously donât want to fold all those clothes by myself...â whispered Minho.
You looked at him surprised, and with a face of indignation you followed him. But deep down you were just waiting for all the drama to be over and you could be alone with him.
âWow, he really accepted her helpâ Hyunjin commented in amazement as he watched you walk to Minhoâs room.
âShut the fuck up, Hyunjin, Iâll cut your tongue out!â shouted Minho to which Hyunjin made a quick funny grimace in response.
âTry not to kill each other in there!â yelled Changbin.
You and Minho stood for a few moments near his door, looking at each other complicit and with your breathing heavy, so eager to be near each other; you watched him through the darkness of his room, diverting your gaze from his big bright eyes to the rest of his room with huge windows overlooking the city, his room was beautiful, after all he was part of a very important group and maintained his reputation by having a luxurious place to live in... and almost at one end of his bed, a pile of clothes waiting to be folded. There were few times that you had entered Minhoâs room as privacy was very limited.
You were both waiting for the boysâ attention to be diverted elsewhere and, Minho recognizing and hearing that they finally managed to get distracted, he locked the door. Minho knew them so well and recognized perfectly when their attention was diverted to something new; their loud voices ceased softly as they were heard lower with his door closed and he without wasting any time, grabbed you by the hips, pulling your body to him.
You smiled broadly, once again with every particle of you excited to finally have him near.
âI missed you so much, baby, you look so good todayâ he spoke to you sweetly, leaning into you and kissing you.
You couldnât answer him, your whole body went warm as you felt his lips on yours, you both missed each other madly and wanted each other immensely, so quickly the kiss became desperate and lustful, his sharp nose rubbing against your face, your hands wrapping around his neck and stroking his hair; Minho hugged you, leaving his hands on your back and slowly leading you to his bed.
As you bumped against the edge of his bed with your legs, he slowly let his body drop, making you fall onto his bed gently, both of you breathless, lewd with the temperatures of your excited bodies, Minho wanted to make you his now and you needed your boyfriendâs affection so bad that your weak pussy was so soaked and needy for his touch. Minho moved away from you a little, only to pull up your dress and reveal that you were only wearing your panties underneath it, you noticed his disapproving look, still he said sweetly:
âSettle in, princess, make yourself comfortable, so I can touch you better.â
You stirred a little, getting comfortable with his pillows on your back and Minho kissed you again, positioning his body over yours, sticking to you to the point of feeling his swollen hard erection rubbing against your sensitive center, he was kissing you so passionately, getting even for all the nights he had to spend it alone, when he had you as his girlfriend and he was partly able to come and see you, you taking care of him so well. You moaned softly as you felt his cock grinding into your pussy and, Minho being himself, he began to gently ram into you, rubbing and squeezing his member into your needy area, rubbing against your clit, causing you to lubricate yourself more and every muscle in your pussy to throb hungrily for your boyfriendâs cock.
Your groans were held between his lips, but Minho was fucking you slowly and torturously, moving his nimble hips against your pussy, leaving you so wet.
You both caught your breath, Minho watched your face slightly illuminated by the nightâs exterior reflected in the window. You gasped, still watching him lovingly, placing your hands on his cheeks.
âI missed you too, Minho.â
âI know, sweetheart, sorry I was busyâ gasped Minho breathlessly, enjoying his cock being compressed against the friction of the fabric of your panties on your pussy.
He moved his hand down to your pussy finally, pushing the fabric of your panties aside, reaching down to your entrance and smiling smugly as he noticed how incredibly wet you were. Minho bit his lip and inserted two fingers deep into you, making you moan and the sound of his fingers immersing between your lubed cunt.
âI want to fuck you so bad, princess, c'mon, ask for it, kitten. I loove to hear you beg, you know that, donât you?â
âAhh, mmm, M-minho, p-pleaseâ you sighed excitedly, his fingers were tickling a sweet spot in you.
You wiggled your ass gently, aroused to have your boyfriendâs fingers working on your sensitive vagina and exploring your insides, as you reached for the hem of his shirt, gently lifting his simple white t-shirt, stroking his abs; Minho smirked again smugly and abruptly slid his fingers out of you.
âYou want to touch me too, donât you, kitten?â
Minho drew a half smile on his face to which you only nodded in a trance, completely lost in the incredibly hot and sexy atmosphere created between you and your boyfriend. He hurried, taking off his shirt and quickly pulling down his shorts and boxers, exposing his very well erect cock, you could appreciate how needy he was too, detonating his veins and his pink tip covered by shiny white precum. You almost sighed, wanting to have fun in so many ways with your boyfriendâs cock, so almost reflexively you directed your hands towards his member, stroking it to feel its stiffness, causing sweet gasps to escape from Minhoâs lips, you looked at him, in his face captured pure pleasure, so you wanted to get up, change positions and suck his cock, but he stopped you instantly, also almost reflexively.
âAh, ahâ spoke your boyfriend in disapproval, pushing you off your shoulder, âBe a good girl and do whatever I say and want, okay?â
Minho darkened his gaze more and said it in a tone so intense and demanding but being gentle with you that it made your body tremble in excitement, you bit your lip and nodded.
âNow, stroke my cock and cum in my fingers like a good princessâ he spoke again, his dirty words made you throb again, âBut... let me see a little bit your pretty body...â Minho licked his lips and abruptly sought a way to pull the straps of your dress to expose your chest, âYou always look so good, babyâ Minho let his gaze linger on your bare breasts and then came closer and kissed you again.
You were so distracted, blinded by the incredible pleasure built up in your body, busy with your mouths joined, your hands in stroking up and down his cock and, as soon as you felt again the tickle of his fingers touching your pussy, your hairs stood on end; Minho without stopping kissing you, inserted in your entrance three of his fingers, making you gasp at the sensation of your entrance stretching. He moved his kisses down, down your neck, his hot breath hitting your sensitive skin, until his mouth reached your breasts, licking them, sucking them and biting your nipple, while his hand on your pussy fucked you and his thumb caressed your clit, getting his hand and the thin fabric of your panties you were still wearing wetter and wetter.
âWe need to discuss later why you only came in that tiny dress, in panties and no bra, to an apartment full of men, youâre such a very bad kitty, you need a little punishment, but you feel so good right now, I wanna make you cumâ Minho said, exasperated and excited in your ear.
He was so aroused too, desperate for an orgasm as he felt your hands skilfully but a little clumsily touching all over his length, stroking his glans, his testicles, feeling every inch of him, which dick you were internally screaming for by wanting such a member to be in you right now, but you couldnât deny it, you loved the way your boyfriend liked to play and entertain your pussy, ramming it with his fingers and crushing and stroking your needy, throbbing clit. Minho gasped loudly, so close to his orgasm whose he took the decision of delaying it himself, he wanted every drop of his cum inside you, so runny and thick drops of his precum fell on your bare abdomen; his cock was so swollen and throbbing and you felt it in your hands that, in a whimper you practically begged him:
âM-minho please fuck me, I need you.â
Minho smiled.
âThen cum to your first orgasm in my hand, sweetie, you can do it.â
He, being pushed to the limit by your caresses on his cock, sped up his movements in your cunt, desperately fitting his fingers deep inside you, enjoying your walls in his digits, the softness of your throbbing clit on his fingertip. You whimpered loudly, staring into his eyes, arched your back, so ready for your orgasm, every muscle in you squeezed with intensity.
âAre you about to cum, kitten? Do it now, come on.â
âOh, ffuckâ you squealed with a shaky voice, catching one last glimpse of Minhoâs handsome face with a smug little smile, before your vision blurred and you rolled your eyes slightly back.
Your legs tensed, you squeezed his cock slightly tighter, only to release yourself in orgasm, squirting into his hand, just as he desired.
âGood girlâ Minho commented smiling.
He withdrew his fingers and in one swift movement, slipped your panties off and without warning of anything, brought his face up to your pussy, licking your sweet liquid sliding down your hole. You moaned at the sensation of his thick hot tongue, of his lips sticking to your pussy to slurp hard from your entrance to your labia, feeling his high bridge nose rubbing against your core, Minho left his hands on your thighs and began to eat your pussy, raising his piercing gaze, watching with joy your body struggle with your heavy breathing.
This time you enjoyed every movement of his mouth on your pussy, his kisses, his soft bites, the intense sucking and licking; you were in paradise, his pace was hot and slow, little by little speeding up the way he ate your pussy, Minho was enjoying it too, getting harder on his dick, causing a little pain to his erect cock hanging in the air, in need of attention, screaming to cum, but the slight pain was turning him on more, he loved pushing himself to the limit, making you enjoy only you as you deserve it, besides he had this idea or theory, that he didnât deserve to cum as he wasnât being the best boyfriend these last days, he missed you and felt guilty for not being able to come to see you, and that you had to be the one who was looking for him.
Minho again sensed your orgasm so close, your gasps rose, honestly the noise didnât bother him, the walls were thick and his friends were being ten times louder in the living room of the apartment. So he suddenly stopped having his mouth on your pussy, roughly wiped his face with his dry hand and got closer to your face.
âDonât cum yet, princess, I need to fuck you nowâ he whispered, giving you a sweet kiss on your cheek.
You saw him in confusion, you couldnât even groan because you instantly realized that you were finally going to have his cock inside you.
Minho repositioned himself again, took his member and began to tease your wet and needy entrance, stroking his glans into it, sliding it in so gently and just enough to get your hole dilated, but he would pull it out again. You whimpered with excitement and desperation as you perfectly recognized the game your boyfriend was playing.
âYou want it donât you?â he said amused with his typical smug smile as he saw your needy body and countenance, your pussy made a beautiful mess, your length so shiny from your wetness and his licking, your entrance resenting his tip inside you, âSo needy for my cock.â
You whimpered, his broad tip slipped out of you and this time he grind your labia with his erection, rubbing himself on them.
âY-yes, Minho, please, please, please.â
âOnly because Iâm the best boyfriendâ he replied haughtily.
Minho slowly slid his cock inside you, you gasped, he was big and wide, squeezing your walls hard and stretching your entrance. He sighed, almost feeling a relief as he felt his cock around your warm core, he pulled his body closer to yours, wanting to feel your body touching his; he was so deep inside you that he almost took your breath away, still, he began to thrust you slowly, never leaving his depth and intensity, moving his hips to take you to the limit, caressing your cervix, and his balls rubbing against your exposed pussy. You tightened your legs and encircled his body, while your hands rested on his strong back, you both began to pant, his slow deep thrusts heating your lower abdomen, torturing you but sending you to heaven itself at the same time. Minho kept a pace that only he knew how made you go crazy, slow, then he accelerated fast, pounding you hard. You dug your nails into his back, you were so close to your orgasm; Minho sped up the movements of his cock in you, but as he felt your walls squeezing his member hard, he couldnât take it, he gasped loudly in your ear and ejaculated, milking him dry every drop of his cum in an intense orgasm. You felt his cum instantly, your legs also squeezed his body tighter and you whimpered loudly, cumming again and covering your boyfriendâs cock in your so intense orgasm.
Minho left his head on your neck for a few seconds, then distanced himself and watched your pussy image after the action.
âSo sweet and all mineâ Minho said, looking down at his cock sliding out of your core, dripping the glorious orgasm of both of you in a glistening liquid; he moved closer to you again, to give you a sweet kiss, your mouth was dry, from moaning and breathing by it, but quickly Minhoâs soft lips ceased any sensation, âI love youâ he whispered into your lips, bringing your foreheads together.
You smiled, about to answer him something cheesy, but Minhoâs doorknob turning sharply and banging on his door alerted you a little.
âDinnerâs ready, why is the door locked?â you heard Seungminâs voice shout from the other side.
âLinooâ you now heard Changbinâs voice shout, âAre you okay?! He must be dead already.â
Minho sighed in frustration, âThese idiots...â he muttered, catching his breath near your face.

ă àšà§ authors note ă a jay fic that isnât ceo or husband crazy right?
jay loved the silence in his life; he actually preferred it that way. he lived alone, heâd go to work and only interact with the people he needed to interact with. his had a small group of friends who understood his lifestyle and wouldnât question it when he would drop off the face of the earth for a while â this was his life and he enjoyed it like that.
so itâs hard for people on the outside to understand why heâs always was with you when youâre the complete opposites â in contrast to jays stoic attitude, you were completely different. you did live alone, but you constantly had friends over, your work colleagues adored you; you were like the office puppy. you had many friends, people loved your company.
âjongseong.â he sighed under his breath after you called him for the 3rd time that hour. âyn you said youâd be quiet.â you giggled sitting up. âi know but im bored.â he turned around. âyour apartment is right across the hall.â you pouted. âitâs so quiet over there, i have no one to talk to.â you said. âdonât act like you enjoy my company.â
he got from his seat and you smiled thinking he was finally gonna stop whatever he was doing and give you the attention you wanted. âyou never know how to shut up do you?â you huffed. âi just- shut up.â he said, climbing onto the bed. âyou want my attention so bad?â he pulled you by your ankles, you shrieked as your head hit the pillow. âiâll give you my attention.â

he pushed his finger in and out of your, kissing your clit. âjay please.â you yelped feeling him nip at your clit. âshut up.â he licked your clit. âalways running that fucking mouth , you talk too much.â you whined. âthis pussy is pretty noisy too.â he smirked. âbut i like when she speaks to me though.â he gave your clit another kitten lick, you needed him and kept teasing you, so you started to squirm. âjay please touch me.â
âstop moving.â he growled. âkeep still and be quiet for once.â he said. âmy pussy needs attention.â you moaned out loudly as he dove in, eating your cunt like his life depended on it. âoh fuck jay.â you moaned, his tongue moved with such vigor. âoh my god.â you gasped out. âfeels so go-good.â
he brought his thumb back to your clit rubbing hard little circles on your clit. âjay im gonna cum.â you gripped his hair. âah!â you lost all sense as you came , legs wrapped around his head, heels digging in his back. âshit.â
he pulled away, slapping the insides of your thighs. âstill so talkative.â he groaned, his cock hard against his slacks. âmaybe I need to stuff that fucking mouth of yours.â he said palming himself, your pussy quivering with want. âno im gonna stuff your pretty pretty first.â he said.
âiâll make you gag on my cock later.â

âËàż a new canvas means a new you đđËâ
a mini series on the art of becoming a better you
chapter 1 | chapter 2 | chapter 3
chapter four â THE ART OF SELF RESPECT
when you live a life where you donât respect yourself, your boundaries, your health, your mind, your emotions; just anything about you, youâll end up living a life where youâre walked all over, where people take advantage of you, where youâll find no successes or achievementsâ you live a life feeling lost and feeling empty, feeling like your mission in life is to be meaningless. weâre taught to respect others, but weâre never taught to respect ourselves. we, as individuals, need to have the highest level of respect for one person. that person being us.
á„«áĄ. where to start
decenter men
i was talking about this the other night with my best friend, but way too many people (women, men, trans women/men, literally anyone) center their lives around men. the patriarchy has stolen so many peopleâs individuality, stripping them of finding their own personality, their own interests, opinions, hobbies, etc. and that is one of the main reasons people donât have any self respect. decenter men.
a man should not, and never define who you are as a person. a man should never make you feel like you are undeserving of your own successes. a man should never make you feel any less than what you truly are! men should never be a source of validation for you as a person. it doesnât matter if youâre a man yourself (cis or trans), it doesnât matter if youâre a woman (cis or trans), and it doesnât matter if youâre nonbinary/gender-nonconforming; you should never everâ and i mean everâ center your ideals, thoughts, opinions, hobbies, interests, and your entire self and life around a man.
too many people are so focused on men and what men think about them. and let me just give you some food for thought: when have you ever done something solely for yourself without the back thought of a manâs approval? iâll admit, back in high school i spent all four years thinking about men and seeking validation from a man. from my freshman year all up until my senior year i was in back to back relationships because i couldnât even fathom the thought of being without a man. and you know what that did for me? it made me miserable, it made me more insecure, and it made me put myself into situations that the person who i am now would be insanely repulsed by because what the fuck was i thinking? majority of my teenage years were spent centering my life around men, and i was miserable.
now, at my current age at this point in my life, i am so unbelievably lucky to be engaged to the man of my dreams, but! i remember when my partner and i first started dating, my therapist asked about 5-6 months into my relationship, âdo you feel like you depend on him for your happiness?â and it made me think, âoh my god, what if i am? what if all the anxieties i have about my relationship are because i rely too much on him for my own happiness?â while my relationship with him is the healthiest, happiest, and most healing relationship iâve ever been in, i had to learn to be okay with being by myself; with being in the company of my own, without him, because i canât depend on him for company or happiness or peaceâ i have to depend on myself for those things, and heâs just my wonderful partner that i get to enjoy and experience life with. heâs not my entire life. heâs only a part of it.
you have to learn to be happy and to find peace with being by yourself. your whole life canât be surrounding the idea of a man.
here are a couple posts that iâve found to be really helpful with how to decenter men:
âdecentering men and recentering yourselfâ by @honeytonedhottie
âhow to decenter menâ by @femmefatalevibe
stop seeking validation from others
not only do people seek validation from men, they seek validation from literally anyone. parents, teachers, bosses, friends, classmates, colleagues; people are looking from validation from all the wrong sources. you, yourself, should be the only person you seek validation from. you should be setting your own standard from yourself.
again, looking for validation from any outside source only makes you lose yourself more and more in the process. you forget all about what you want and need from yourself because youâre so focused on what other people need and want from you. validate yourself, affirm yourself, just be there for yourself. you donât need anyone or anything else telling you that youâre doing something right. youâll know whatâs right for you because you should know yourself better than anyone else!
set boundaries
chapter three was all about learning how to say no and how to set boundaries, so i highly recommend going back to that chapter and reviewing it since i go more in-depth on that topic!
setting boundaries for yourself is one of the best things to do to regain your self respect. knowing what exactly you want from yourself and from others and setting that line will not only protect your happiness and peace, but it will also show an immense amount of respect that you have for yourself to others who may think that they donât have to respect you.
á„«áĄ. self respect as a whole
respecting yourself means respecting your peace, your privacy, your thoughts, your opinions, your emotions; you as a person. it protects you from things and people that could potentially harm you, whether itâs physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.
protect your peace. protect your happiness. protect your mind and your body. when you disrespect yourself by partaking in an overuse of harmful substances, having unprotected sex with someone you donât even have a genuine connection to, or accepting behaviors from someone whoâs constantly hurting you or betraying your trust you become a doormat for people to walk all over you in life.
i have known too many people, myself included, who disrespected themselves and faced one too many hardships in life. it makes us miserable and that misery turns into so many mental health issues that can sometimes cause too much harm that it makes it 100 times more difficult to recover.
self respect doesnât have to be hard. you can always start small by just taking care of yourself! this has been a recurring theme in this series, but here i am to say it again: prioritize yourself! respect that you have needs and wants and do things for yourself that make you feel good and that benefit you. self care is vital, and respecting the fact that your own health needs to be in check is a wonderful first step towards gaining more self respect.
you have to show up for yourself, you have to immerse yourself in activities/hobbies/media thatâs actually good for youâ not what you think is good for you, you have to be kind to yourself, and you have to love yourself, babes. seriously, self respect can be a really simple thing at the end of the day and it can come so easily to you if you just let it be. donât make your life harder by disrespecting yourself.
á„«áĄ. final notes
weâre nearing the end of this mini series! chapter five will be the final chapter! iâm so thankful that this series has been shown so much love so far and i hope that itâs been able to help you guys as much as it helped me! i know iâve been writing all of these, but something about creating content like this really motivates me to keep moving forward with my own self improvement journey.
i hope you guys always know iâm with you every step of the way in this journey. you never have to walk it alone, trust me! i know i always talk about being there for yourself, but other people (who are genuinely worth it, of course) can be there for you too! weâve all got the same goal: to better ourselves. itâs going to be a difficult and long journey, but weâll make it together!
with lots of love, juno đ·

Story from the Washington Post here, non-paywall version here.
Washington Post stop blocking linksharing and shit challenge.
"The young woman was catatonic, stuck at the nursesâ station â unmoving, unblinking and unknowing of where or who she was.
Her name was April Burrell.
Before she became a patient, April had been an outgoing, straight-A student majoring in accounting at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. But after a traumatic event when she was 21, April suddenly developed psychosis and became lost in a constant state of visual and auditory hallucinations. The former high school valedictorian could no longer communicate, bathe or take care of herself.
April was diagnosed with a severe form of schizophrenia, an often devastating mental illness that affects approximately 1 percent of the global population and can drastically impair how patients behave and perceive reality.
âShe was the first person I ever saw as a patient,â said Sander Markx, director of precision psychiatry at Columbia University, who was still a medical student in 2000 when he first encountered April. âShe is, to this day, the sickest patient Iâve ever seen.â ...
It would be nearly two decades before their paths crossed again. But in 2018, another chance encounter led to several medical discoveries...
Markx and his colleagues discovered that although Aprilâs illness was clinically indistinguishable from schizophrenia, she also had lupus, an underlying and treatable autoimmune condition that was attacking her brain.
After months of targeted treatments [for lupus] â and more than two decades trapped in her mind â April woke up.
The awakening of April â and the successful treatment of other people with similar conditions â now stand to transform care for some of psychiatryâs sickest patients, many of whom are languishing in mental institutions.
Researchers working with the New York state mental health-care system have identified about 200 patients with autoimmune diseases, some institutionalized for years, who may be helped by the discovery.
And scientists around the world, including Germany and Britain, are conducting similar research, finding that underlying autoimmune and inflammatory processes may be more common in patients with a variety of psychiatric syndromes than previously believed.
Although the current research probably will help only a small subset of patients, the impact of the work is already beginning to reshape the practice of psychiatry and the way many cases of mental illness are diagnosed and treated.
âThese are the forgotten souls,â said Markx. âWeâre not just improving the lives of these people, but weâre bringing them back from a place that I didnât think they could come back from.â ...
Waking up after two decades
The medical team set to work counteracting Aprilâs rampaging immune system and started April on an intensive immunotherapy treatment for neuropsychiatric lupus...
The regimen is grueling, requiring a month-long break between each of the six rounds to allow the immune system to recover. But April started showing signs of improvement almost immediately...
A joyful reunion
âIâve always wanted my sister to get back to who she was,â Guy Burrell said.
In 2020, April was deemed mentally competent to discharge herself from the psychiatric hospital where she had lived for nearly two decades, and she moved to a rehabilitation center...
Because of visiting restrictions related to covid, the familyâs face-to-face reunion with April was delayed until last year. Aprilâs brother, sister-in-law and their kids were finally able to visit her at a rehabilitation center, and the occasion was tearful and joyous.
âWhen she came in there, you wouldâve thought she was a brand-new person,â Guy Burrell said. âShe knew all of us, remembered different stuff from back when she was a child.â ...
The family felt as if theyâd witnessed a miracle.
âShe was hugging me, she was holding my hand,â Guy Burrell said. âYou might as well have thrown a parade because we were so happy, because we hadnât seen her like that in, like, forever.â
âIt was like she came home,â Markx said. âWe never thought that was possible.â
...After Aprilâs unexpected recovery, the medical team put out an alert to the hospital system to identify any patients with antibody markers for autoimmune disease. A few months later, Anca Askanase, a rheumatologist and director of the Columbia Lupus Center, who had been on Aprilâs treatment team, approached Markx. âI think we found our girl,â she said.
Bringing back Devine
When Devine Cruz was 9, she began to hear voices. At first, the voices fought with one another. But as she grew older, the voices would talk about her, [and over the years, things got worse].
For more than a decade, the young woman moved in and out of hospitals for treatment. Her symptoms included visual and auditory hallucinations, as well as delusions that prevented her from living a normal life.
Devine was eventually diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, which can result in symptoms of both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. She also was diagnosed with intellectual disability.
She was on a laundry list of drugs â two antipsychotic medications, lithium, clonazepam, Ativan and benztropine â that came with a litany of side effects but didnât resolve all her symptoms...
She also had lupus, which she had been diagnosed with when she was about 14, although doctors had never made a connection between the disease and her mental health...
Last August, the medical team prescribed monthly immunosuppressive infusions of corticosteroids and chemotherapy drugs, a regime similar to what April had been given a few years prior. By October, there were already dramatic signs of improvement.
âShe was like âYeah, I gotta go,ââ Markx said. ââLike, Iâve been missing out.ââ
After several treatments, Devine began developing awareness that the voices in her head were different from real voices, a sign that she was reconnecting with reality. She finished her sixth and final round of infusions in January.
In March, she was well enough to meet with a reporter. âI feel like Iâm already better,â Devine said during a conversation in Markxâs office at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, where she was treated. âI feel myself being a person that I was supposed to be my whole entire life.â ...
Her recovery is remarkable for several reasons, her doctors said. The voices and visions have stopped. And she no longer meets the diagnostic criteria for either schizoaffective disorder or intellectual disability, Markx said...
Today, Devine lives with her mother and is leading a more active and engaged life. She helps her mother cook, goes to the grocery store and navigates public transportation to keep her appointments. She is even babysitting her siblingsâ young children â listening to music, taking them to the park or watching âFrozen 2â â responsibilities her family never would have entrusted her with before her recovery.
Expanding the search for more patients
While it is likely that only a subset of people diagnosed with schizophrenia and psychotic disorders have an underlying autoimmune condition, Markx and other doctors believe there are probably many more patients whose psychiatric conditions are caused or exacerbated by autoimmune issues...
The cases of April and Devine also helped inspire the development of the SNF Center for Precision Psychiatry and Mental Health at Columbia, which was named for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which awarded it a $75 million grant in April. The goal of the center is to develop new treatments based on specific genetic and autoimmune causes of psychiatric illness, said Joseph Gogos, co-director of the SNF Center.
Markx said he has begun care and treatment on about 40 patients since the SNF Center opened. The SNF Center is working with the New York State Office of Mental Health, which oversees one of the largest public mental health systems in America, to conduct whole genome sequencing and autoimmunity screening on inpatients at long-term facilities.
For âthe most disabled, the sickest of the sick, even if we can help just a small fraction of them, by doing these detailed analyses, thatâs worth something,â said Thomas Smith, chief medical officer for the New York State Office of Mental Health. âYouâre helping save someoneâs life, get them out of the hospital, have them live in the community, go home.â
Discussions are underway to extend the search to the 20,000 outpatients in the New York state system as well. Serious psychiatric disorders, like schizophrenia, are more likely to be undertreated in underprivileged groups. And autoimmune disorders like lupus disproportionately affect women and people of color with more severity.
Changing psychiatric care
How many people ultimately will be helped by the research remains a subject of debate in the scientific community. But the research has spurred excitement about the potential to better understand what is going on in the brain during serious mental illness...
Emerging research has implicated inflammation and immunological dysfunction as potential players in a variety of neuropsychiatric conditions, including schizophrenia, depression and autism.
âIt opens new treatment possibilities to patients that used to be treated very differently,â said Ludger Tebartz van Elst, a professor of psychiatry and psychotherapy at University Medical Clinic Freiburg in Germany.
In one study, published last year in Molecular Psychiatry, Tebartz van Elst and his colleagues identified 91 psychiatric patients with suspected autoimmune diseases, and reported that immunotherapies benefited the majority of them.
Belinda Lennox, head of the psychiatry department at the University of Oxford, is enrolling patients in clinical trials to test the effectiveness of immunotherapy for autoimmune psychosis patients.
As a result of the research, screenings for immunological markers in psychotic patients are already routine in Germany, where psychiatrists regularly collect samples from cerebrospinal fluid.
Markx is also doing similar screening with his patients. He believes highly sensitive and inexpensive blood tests to detect different antibodies should become part of the standard screening protocol for psychosis.
Also on the horizon: more targeted immunotherapy rather than current âsledgehammer approachesâ that suppress the immune system on a broad level, said George Yancopoulos, the co-founder and president of the pharmaceutical company Regeneron.
âI think weâre at the dawn of a new era. This is just the beginning,â said Yancopoulos."

Hello, I am Aya and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart on behalf of my family of seven who are trapped in the devastating situation in Gaza đ . They are urgently seeking evacuation to Egypt after enduring more than 370 days of displacement and hardship. I am seeking to help them urgently and provide them with the minimum requirements. I was displaced and managed to escape the horrors of war to Rafah, then we returned again to Khan Younis and were displaced more than once inside Khan Younis until we reached the beach..
Today I find myself in a situation I never expected. The conflict in Gaza has left my family in dire need of assistance. This war has taken our livelihoods and our factories and now we are struggling to survive.
But now our livelihood has been destroyed and all the hard work of the years has been lost in a short moment. We had a home that sheltered my family and my brothers, and the occupation destroyed our only shelter and the streets have become a bed for my brothers.
Every child of my siblings had a dream to fulfill
