🌷= Explicit Smut, NSFW
Completed Multichapter
ACOWAR (Elucien's Version) 🌷 - One moment. All it takes is one singular moment to change the trajectory of fate. Following the events of Hybern, everything changes when Lucien instinctively grabs his mate—Elain Archeron—and brings her back to the Spring Court with Feyre and Tamlin.
Animal Instincts - When Elain is unexpectedly transformed into a cat, Lucien thankfully comes to her rescue. Well, she would be more grateful, if he also wasn't so incredibly infuriating.
So Sick of Dreaming 🌷 - When Elain falls sick, the feverish dreams entangle with her visions. Wickedly erotic dreams involving her mate, Lucien Vanserra, that feel almost too real...
Dear Lucien, Dear Elain: An Epistolary Fic (in collaboration with @zenkindoflove) - After the winter solstice in ACOSF, Elain and Lucien exchange letters as a means to get to know each other away from prying eyes.
Completed Oneshots
The Fox Hunt 🌷- Elain Archeron is invited to Lord Graysen's annual Fox Hunt. She gladly attends in hopes she'll secure a marriage proposal, but fate has other plans when she finds a clever fox in the woods. If she's not careful, his many bargains may just ruin her.
Beasts Inside Us 🌷 - While staying in the mortal lands with the Band of Exiles, Elain Archeron stumbles across a familiar face from her past. Only Graysen wants revenge. Her only hope is that her mate, Lucien Vanserra, can save her—in more ways than one.
Separate My Body From My Soul 🌷- When Lucien Vanserra is held captive by his father in the cruel depths of Autumn, there is only one force more powerful than politics that can save him—his mating bond with Elain Archeron. She must make the choice to save him, even if it means binding their souls forever.
Call Me Selfish, Call Me Wrecked 🌷 - Like countless times before, they’re dangling Elain in front of him without a mention of her name. And for once, Lucien decides to selfishly take it. “I’ll marry her,” he pretends to investigate his nails, even if his heart is about to burst from his fucking chest. “But only if she agrees to it as well. Thats my only condition.” Elain agrees. Lucien learns the consequences of not shutting up.
A Cut Above the Rest - While on the run in the Continent, Elain and Lucien must discuss what has remained unspoken after a frightening incident.
Courting Lucien Vanserra 🌷 “I think it may be too late for us, that I was a wretch for far too long and now he wants nothing to do with me—” Elain blurted out in a teary confession to her sisters. Nesta, face like stone, hissed. “Then there is only one thing left to do. You must thoroughly and ardently court him.”
bet on me - Elain is caught sulking at her sister's mating ceremony. Lucien wagers a drinking game to prove who knows the other best.
i would stay forever (just don't go) - “You! You torment me, Lucien. Day and night. You fill my dreams and nightmares." Elain struggles to know what is real and not real. And only Lucien can help.
in eternal bloom - On the quest to find the sixth mortal queen, Lucien Vanserra meets a human with brown eyes and that same stubborn Archeron nose. Together, on their search for Vassa, Lucien befriends Elain’s father, and learns a bit more about his mate.
curses and gifts - In which Elain is cursed to live that fateful day with the Cauldron again and again and again. Until a choice is made.

Rewatching Timebreaker, in hindsight to knowing what the watch is, this intro to it makes it so weird.
Specifically the watch's ability to make a hologram.
Assuming this watch was always planned to be the Rabbit Miraculous, does that mean that all Miraculous can make holograms? Or have some unique minor ability they can do and this is what the Rabbit can do?
Which, for something related to time travel, it's kinda random.
Unless Rabbit wasn't planned to have time traveling powers, but potentially, originally was the illusionist instead of Fox.
Which wouldn't be too much of a stretch for Rabbit.
White rabbits are an iconic animal that's tied to magicians, who are expert illusionists.
To add to it, the rabbit is tied the trickster archetype. Europe has tied rabbits to other-worldliness and the fae. And there is an Indian fable of the Clever Rabbit and the Foolish/Hungry Lion. Where the Lion decreed all animals were to sacrifice themselves so he can eat, and when it was the Rabbit's turn, the Rabbit told the Lion that there was another lion nearby, and led the Lion to a well/watering hole and pointed to the reflection in the water. The Lion drowned trying to fight his reflection, saving the Rabbit and other animals from being devoured.
Which a reflection can count as another illusion.
This can even work off Alice in Wonderland as illusions can be tied to dreams, and they can be creative and surreal and strange.
As for the time motif, it can play off time is an illusion.
So IF that watch was always planned to be the Rabbit Miraculous, I wonder if it was originally the illusionist instead of the time traveler; as the ability for the watch to make a hologram is just so random.
As for Fox, given that Volpina "the False Fox" was an illusionist, there was a possibility that the actual Fox wasn't. And Thomas Astruc had confirmed that Pied Piper was a Fox (hence the flute).
Potentially, Fox originally had a power of hypnosis or subconscious manipulation through music, also working off how music can influence you.
Which this ability is what I associate Pied Piper with more than illusions, and it would work better off Fox playing the flute to use the power, as playing it to make illusions is a weird choice. Anyone hearing that music would know an illusion is coming, but not so if the music could enthrall you and influence how you perceive the world, what you register.
To add to it, this can work off the 9 tailed foxes too, I have read that some did have the ability to hypnotize; this can also work off that infamous ability to possess a target, taking over another.
A lot of this is just speculation though.
It's hard to say if the watch even was always planned to be a Miraculous, if the Zodiac were even always planned. Some things just feel like they rolled out and there were definite changes that had been made, some of which I'm sure were done to keep to the status quo easier and not drastically change up the story (like Mayura was built up to be a bigger bad and bigger threat, actually be HM's boss, but nah, that'd change up too much, can't have that).

The Butcher and The Rabbit Ch. 1
Stone Butch!Huntress x High Femme!Reader
Summery: You lived exactly as you were supposed to. You said your prayers by night. Married the correct man and filled your time as a homemaker. Everything as you were told, yet none of it could prevent the war reaching your doorstep. Forcing you to flee your constructed reality. Straight into the past you left to rot in the woods.
Content Tags/Warnings: DEAD DOVE, Allusions to SA, Slight Gore, Captor/Captive, Eventual Smut, Dubcon, Horror Themes, Childhood Friends to Strangers to lovers
A/N: This will be a very self-indulgent Dark Fic. I will add to the tags as they come.
The sun falls like a guillotine. Its last vestiges of light illuminating your path as you slink through the wood. Pine needles fall onto your shoulders as you push branches out of your way. The red forest was dense, a horrid maw—your only salvation.
Your footfalls are tentative and unsteady. In your haste to escape you had shoved on your husband's hunting boots. The laces are still undone, and the soles twice your size. Paired with the fact you weren’t even a runner on your best day these boots were life threatening. If you were thinking clearer perhaps you would take them off. Endure the forest floor with your bare feet, but the light dust of snow had you far too worried about frostbite. As if you would survive that long.
In the distance, the boisterous sounds of soldiers echoed through the trees. Hounds on a fox trail. Barking for the thrill of the chase.
Yet you would not be barreling through the trees like a spooked deer; you had to be clever. You knew these woods better than them. You knew they were strangers, and the forest would treat them as such, but would it be kind to you?
The canopy above darkens. The last rays of the sun fade behind you. As you struggle to make out the overgrown path in front of you the sounds of men grow closer. Too close.
How? Were your tracks so easy to follow? Had the forest forsaken you? Gripping at the jagged bone hanging from your necklace, you prayed under your breath pleas that you would live. Words of worship falling do the dirt beneath your boots.
Moving along branches dig into the fabric of your sleeves. The foliage grows thicker. Holding your skirt aloft could not even save it from the grasping branches. Bark-laden fingers trying to drag you back. Pulling you away from the path. Perhaps you should listen, but how could you? The only thing your mind could focus on were all the things that could happen to you if you were caught.
Dogs will hunt.
Until the rabbit hangs limp from its jaws.
Are the trees getting closer together? Unable to stay low to the ground, the bush too thick, you were forced onto your feet. Looking around it was dark. Too dark, you could barely make out your hands in front of you. Your chest rises and falls as you try to get your bearings. Your body twisting this way and that, not even the moon could pierce the branches above you. Was the moon even out tonight? Were there ever stars in the sky?
An inexplicable terror fills your bones. The darkness is suffocating. Standing still as thoughts begin to swirl around in your head. In your head? Or were the trees whispering to you?
‘Where are you going?’
‘Are they close?’
‘They have to be.’
‘you can hear them.’
‘I can hear them.’
‘You can hear them’
‘I can hear them right behind me.’
A hot huff of air blows a strand of hair into your face. Your body goes rigid, sweat beading down the back of your neck. As you listen. The sound of air huffing. In then out. Breathing? No. It was smelling you, inhaling your scent. An animal?
Out of the corner of your vision, you see a light, a lantern dancing around the trees. Without a thought you dart towards it, possessed by your fear. You barrel towards the beacon too afraid of the beast behind you to think of the dangers in front of you.
You can’t hear anything over the sound of your own heartbeat pounding in your ears but you know you're being chased. You can feel it. The aura of a predator. Reaching its claws towards your back. The lantern gets closer. Hope fills your chest. You can make it! You're gonna make it.
As you reach the ring of light, its glow warming your face, a gunshot rings out. Sliding to the floor you duck. Then it’s only a second before you discover your mistake. In front of you, with a lantern in his hand, stands a man dressed in uniform. His pistol raised right where you had been standing. It seems the rabbit has run straight into the jaws of the hound. You don’t stay a second longer as he yells over his shoulder, no doubt alerting his comrades that the hunt has ended.
Pushing yourself up to your feet you stumble forward. Once again sprinting into the unknown. Relying only on the adrenaline pumping through your muscles you barrel through branches. This time you can hear the footsteps rushing behind you. The light of their lantern is close enough to see in front of you.
Another shot and the bark of a tree explodes next to your head. Forcing you to pivot. A hard left that sends you straight into a thicket, thorns dig into your skin. Ripping at your clothes but you can’t stop. Tearing yourself through the clawing branches, the sounds of fabric ripping mix with the laughter of your pursuers. Finally, you feel your hand hit bare dirt. Digging your nails into the earth you clamber forward.
There’s no path ahead anymore but that doesn’t matter.
‘Need to get away.’
‘Need to run.’
Fear pushes you further. Your limbs grow numb, your breathing impossible to control but weakly you persist. Until you feel the trees open up. This is it. The forest is giving you a way forward.
One step, and you're straight back into the ground. Head slamming flat into the dirt and before you can even think a scream tears through your throat. Pain flares through your ankle, burning up your leg.
Twisting around you try to make sense of the sudden, searing pain in your ankle. However, the darkness doesn’t even allow you to see your oose and tugging your leg back only makes you cry harder. Fat tears of despair fall down your plump cheeks. Reaching down you feel for any blood but your fingers meet the cold texture of steel. Digging its jaws deep into the soft leather of the boot, puncturing your flesh.
‘This is it. You're caught.’
‘They’re going to kill you.’
‘They’re going to do worse than that.’
The voices chase you still. Furling the fear that grips your being. The steady thrum of dread that shields you from the pain.
Soft light begins to glow onto your pathetic figure. What a sight you must be. Covered in dirt. Bloodstained and unable to stop your desperate sobs. Shaking like a newborn lamb.
Light fills your vision. What should be a guiding star is now the beacon of your execution.
The hounds have finally reached you. Just as they always would. Just as they always had.
Three of them, dressed in army fatigues, burst out of the trees. Boxing you in. Only one of them held his gun aloft, pointing his pistol straight to your head. He stood in the center, the other two had weapons of their own. One a rifle hanging idly in his grasp. The third, holding a lantern of his own, gripped a knife in his fist. Each of them leering down at the prey in their grasp.
As your eyes darted between them they began speaking in a language foreign to you. Not speaking to you of course but with each other. Discussing something. Their body language was so casual it left your hair on end. The words didn't make sense, but they didn't need to. What else could they be talking about?? What other reason could they have to chase you so far? Your death would not be a swift one.
Leisurely the one with the knife begins sauntering towards you. Then something snaps in your brain. You scream again. Now in a fury as if that’s going to deter him. Spitting and hissing as a final act of self preservation. The man’s smile only widens. Cooing words at you as his leather-gloved hands reach towards you. Hands that would never touch you.
In a blink, you watch as a hatchet buries itself into the side of his cap. His wide eyes locked on yours still as he stumbled to the side. Gasping for words before falling to the ground. You can’t tear your gaze away. You stare as his hands still twitch. His lantern still clutched tightly in his grasp.
The soldiers behind the now corpse start yelling into the trees. Both now with guns at the ready, aimlessly pointing them into the shadows. You turn your head left. Then right, trying to get a glimpse of this new danger. Peering into the bush the lantern light just barely touches a few feet beside you.
An eerie silence descends on the red forest. Not even the sound of the wind through the trees to calm your nerves.
One of the soldiers creeps forward, shining his lantern deeper in. The light swallowed by the pitch black. He speaks in commands, you think as if ordering the shadows around him to surrender.
In front of you soldier with the rifle stands frozen, his grip on his gun too tight. You can see him trembling. He takes one step back then a great hand reaches out of the darkness. Gripping him by the hair and dragging him backwards. A scream pierces the air, the sounds of struggling. Then something that sounds of wet branches snapping.
To your left, you can hear the last soldier standing scream out, before shooting wildly into the bush. Releasing as many bullets as he can, the shots pounding through your skull until all you hear is clicking. You don’t look as the soldier desperately fumbles to reload. No, you can’t look away from the darkness in front of you. You shouldn’t.
‘Watch. Witness.’
Stalking into the light you see the face of a rabbit. A wooden mask splattered with blood affixed to the face of a hulking body. Towering over the scene. Muscles taut as they reveal themselves. The sleeves of their tattered shirt rolled up to the elbow, exposing the blood trailing up their forearm. A large wood cutting ax is held firmly in their hands, but the only thing you could focus on is its eyes. A pale blue that brings back memories of when you were a child. Of stories, your father would tell you. Of bodarks roaming the wood. Of the stryga that huntsmen
Lost in your admiration you flinch as the creature from the wood lunges forward. In two swift strides, it has him by the neck. The wood cutter's ax sunk deep into the muscle of his shoulder, as though it were only butter. He barely has time to scream before he’s thrown to the ground. The thing presses a bandaged foot down onto his chest, pinning him to the earth. A predator hovering over its prey. With his body pressed down the ax is yanked from his skin. The masked figure raises the weapon above their head and you suddenly realize it’s a woman. The ax swings down, cleaving his face in two.
You can’t bear to look anymore. Can’t bring yourself to open your eyes or even will your limbs to stop shaking. Your hand goes to your necklace. Trying to seek any form of comfort in your last moments. It goes quiet again, and you wait for the ax.
You feel something. Cold fingers brush softly against your calf. A sharp yelp escapes your throat. A knee-jerk reaction as you open your eyes and come face to face with the bloody rabbit mask. She’s crouched down next to your trembling body, you hadn’t even heard her get closer. She doesn’t acknowledge your scream, merely inspects the trap still locked onto your ankle. With her so close now you can make out the features of her face.
The mask covers all but her lips and jawline. Scars travel from beneath the bloody wood, marring her pale skin. One cuts straight through her top lip, pulling it up just enough for her canine to peak out. Your gaze drifts downwards, following the contours of her neck. More scars. All the way to where her broad shoulders are hidden beneath the ragged cotton of her shirt. Her clothes seem worn. They look like things men in the village would wear.
As you drift slowly back up to her face, pale blue eyes stare back at you, fixated on your features. Her head cocked to the side. As if she’s trying to figure something out.
A hum fills the silence. A lullaby. One that you’ve heard thousands of times as a child. She’s singing a lullaby under her breath. You're not sure how to react. Something about this fills you with a sense of peace. Some nostalgic feeling, from winter's past.
A dirt-covered hand reaches towards you. Moving the hair from your face. Gently, her fingers trace along the contours of your cheek. Mapping out your features. Delicately she trails a line down your neck, following the cord of your necklace. Towards your panting of your breast. Stopping at the small animal jaw dangling from your neck. Fingering the edges of its teeth.
She’s leaning over you now. Staring intently at the worn bone. Her steady breath fanning against your cheeks. She shifts and you feel her other hand brushes against your waist. At the sound of you gasp. As if you’ve burned her.
The lullaby cuts off, and for a moment you just stare at each other. Before her gaze darts to the ground and she seems almost… bashful, you think. Slowly your mind begins to come back to you. Thoughts racing as to what you should do. She wasn’t threatening you, in fact, she had saved you. Hope fills your chest once again.
Sparing a glance at the mutilated face of the fallen soldier behind her you hold onto that thought. Sitting up a little straighter you lean closer to her, tilting your head to meet her gaze.
“Help me, please.” Your voice is hoarse. Hardly able to speak above a whisper.
She looks at you. Startled. Like she was amazed that you could speak. She stares for a moment, long enough for you to worry about her intentions. That perhaps you were mistaken. That maybe you would meet the same fate as those men but she turns to look at the trap still clinging to your boot.
With a practiced hand, she presses down on the metal. A click and the jaws are released.
Relief floods your lungs as you're able to pull your leg back. The pain lingers but something stops it from fully reaching your brain. Perhaps the thick leather saved you from a broken bone, you hope. Leaning down you go to take off the boot. Desperate to know what lies beneath but a hand on your wrist stops you.
“Don’t.” The first word she says to you. Her voice is rough, harsh as the winter, and coarse as sandpaper. Sounding as if she’d never used it until this very moment.
Your hand stills as you stare up at her. Unable to deny the authority in her voice you can’t help but listen. Watching as she slides her hand up your arm. Goosebumps shoot up your skin. Her other arm scoops under your legs. Then before you can protest, she hauls you over her shoulder, careful of the pain in your leg.
The last thing you see is the corpses of the soldiers, fading into the red pines. Their remains swallowed by the earth as this strange woman whisks you away.

Place of birth: Red fang mountain

Family:
Jie- mother
Zen- Father
Yī and Sān- siblings
DFK- grandfather
Friends/Allies:
No info
Enemies:
No info
Status: alive
Abilities:
No info
Personality:
Since the start Èr’s personality was making him pretty disliked. He tends to be rude, ironic, sceptical, impatient, ungrateful and has no respect for others. Even his parents (who love him very much) knows how much of a brat he is. If anything Èr learned to hide his true nature behind the mask of kindness and generosity which sometimes cause confusion to others. He also might sometimes use some manipulation but despite everything Èr can be really really selfless when it comes to those he cherishes, when his mother was captured he left everything and came back to the kingdom as soon as possible. Still Èr will hide his emotions to his friends from them and the world to make sure none of his enemies would harm them.
History:
Èr was born on Red Fang mountain as the second child of Jie and Zen. Despite having a big chance to take the position of successor from his sister it was never his intention. The reason behind that was the lack of purpose he felt until one of his mother’s closest friend didn’t tell him about his adventures and travels. It caused Èr to fill a hunger of knowledge about humans and their way of living and since there were almost no humans in Fox Kingdom he decided to travel.
His first adventure lasted 5 years, at that time he made some friends, learned a lot about culture of humans around the world and even found his purpose, it all ended when he had to come back because of the incident. When he came back Jie already left the kingdom and he couldn’t meet her before she settled in Megapolis. He continued his travels only after making sure she’s safe but this time with new goal- to find out what happened when he was absent…
When it comes to Pit, the story is pretty short, Èr met him (by accident), saved him (by accident) and then made him immortal (also by accident). Since that time Pit thinks of him as his saviour and keeps him company even though his master can be pretty heartless or ungrateful towards him.
Relationships with canon characters (opinions):
No info
Relationships with my ocs (opinions):
Jie
Jie was the very first person Èr learned to respect, he loves her very much. She is the only person Èr never wants to worry and he’s full of grief because of what she had to go through.
Zen
At first Èr was really disrespectful towards his father, seeing him as a weak men swayed by emotions, until he realised how wrong he was. He knows how much in pain Zen is after parting ways with his wife but is still able to rule the kingdom and keep his head high, yet if his father would ask for help Èr would do anything to help him.
Yī
Èr always thought of himself as the oldest kid, that’s why he was very protective of his ‘younger’ sister. He spent a lot of time with her to make sure that she’s going to grow up to be a clever adult, he would also make sure that no man would approach his sister. When he heard about a boy who had a crush on Yī, Èr immediately got closer to him to make sure that he won’t do anything suspicious (the fact that they ended up as friends is the other thing). Yī was also the first friend of Èr so he would get jealous seeing her spend time with others. He also often teased her which sometimes lead to fights between them. In the end all his actions caused their relationship to be pretty fierce. From the incident both of them merely talks with each other.
Sān
Sān’s personality is the opposite of Èr’s. While Èr is rude and cunning his brother is honest and kind, sometimes even naive. Èr would often use it to make fun of him but in the end no matter what he did nothing could make Sān dislike him. Èr likes to believe that to this day Sān would forgive him everything.
Trivia:
- He usually is seen in his human disguise since this way he catches less attention
- Pit isn’t Èr’s only companion, (though he’s been with him the longest) Èr travels with others too, he even considers some of them a family
- Practically every part of his clothing is either a gift or was stolen
- The accessory of his headband is a thing passed down between generations in his father’s family
- The necklace he’s wearing was a gift from his sister but… it was meant for someone else
- Èr spent a lot of time in Japan
- Èr shows his true nature only in front of people he trusts, which caused a few misunderstandings between him and his companions, when he suddenly started acting cold towards them
- In some countries he’s wanted dead
- Before Jie was captured Èr was merely home so he was forced by his mother to write letters everyday so that his family could be sure he’s safe, sometimes the one delivering the letters was Pit

MORTAL KOMBAT 1 Thoughts Pt2.
[❌❌contains SPOILERS❌❌]
Continuation from yesterday
Chapter 6
They keep switching between Bromance and Romance for Kenshi and Johnny. Which one is it now???
I adore Johnny being protective of Kenshi, and Kenshi holding onto him while walking.
The way reptile switched from human to lizard, makes it look like he is not actually shape shifting, merely casting an Illusion to seem human.
Nitara is hot and all, love the design, but....who thought it was a great idea to have Megan Fox voice her? No shade but the voice acting is pretty awful.
Kenshi trying to run in with Sento but is pushed back in a comedical way by Ermac SENT ME. I felt so bad but I couldn't stop laughing.
Sento activating in this fight was pretty cool, I will not lie.
Not Jerrod shouting out for Sindel😭😭
Chapter 7
I wonder why Liu Kang didn't get fully rid of Krusty Kronika. Just because he is playing god now doesn't mean she's any harmless. But also wasn't Kronika fully destroyed?
Lesbians
Johnny and Kung Lao trying to knock out Quan Chi in the middle of the street while dressed up in those carneval suits was a sight for sore eyes.
NOT THE SIDE KICK PREDICTIONS WITH REPTILE AND KENSHI LITERALLY FLYING IN PLSSS
This entire chapter is full of comedic bits, and I'm here for it. We need more stuff like this.
Chapter 8
I like the implication that some things are inevitable, no matter how you think you shaped things differently.
I enjoy Geras and Liu Kang s friendship a lot.
So Liu didn't intend for Kronika to be alive in this timeline after all.
"Father" Is smoke now Bi-Han and Kuais brother??Was he adopted adopted??
Aight but am I the only one who thinks Smoke looks like Elon Musk? Like, for real,, it's freaking me out.
I know Smoke is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal but I keep hearing Troy Baker.
That manipulative parallel from when Shang Tsung was a Merchant still was very clever
Chapter 9
Okay crazy theory, but what if Kronika isn't Kronika, but Alt Shang Tsung in disguise???
Why am I not surprised by the betrayal. Still having hopes that Bi-Han is just bluffing to save Kuai.
Kuai being out for blood is really entertaining. That melting sword scene was so damn cool too.
Scorpion being affected and literally burned by heat somehow doesn't make sense to me. Especially with Subzero seemingly not being harmed by frost and ice. Also Havik recovered from that melt off really fcking fast. Bowing down to you, king.
Bi-Han literally showing up from behind the cold wind was such an amazing entrance. I was even jumpscared a little.
5bucks that new course is the Shirai Ryu
Chapter 10
If the second timeline the ending to aftermath where Shang Tsung won?? If so, that is the coolest decision NRS has ever made so far.
Li Mei is so pretty. I adore her so much.
Have y'all noticed how weird the run animation in this game is. It's so awkward and looks half-assed.
Mileena is such a good fighter but I hate how much she is being babied. I know it's because of Tarkat, but it's kinda silly.
Lesbians
I am very amazed with the character design improvement in this game. I thought MK11 was already damn pretty, but MK1 really put the icing on top. There are so many fine details in the environment and outfits, I am eating this up like desert.
Will hopefully finish the rest of the game tomorrow though! Last and Final thoughts coming in soon!

Master Recs: Horror Cinema!
Do you like Horror films? Yes, you do. Here is a modest selection of 13 cinematic offerings to quench your thirst for seasonal spooks, from lesser-known gems to entertaining schlock and everything in-between. I have good taste and you are welcome.
Renfield (2023), dir. Chris McKay
Renfield rules so hard it hurts, let me tell you. Nicolas Cage as Dracula is already the best selling point imaginable but if you look past the premise, you'll find a heartwarming story about overcoming abuse and codependency, with loads of great action and gore to boot. Good old Nic hams it up to eleven as the Prince of Darkness, channeling the verve of Bela Lugosi, Christopher Lee and Lon Cheney all rolled into a deliciously evil sandwich. He's legitimately monstrous and intimidating in a way the character has not been in decades.
It's very effective when he's presented as the abusive "partner" from which Renfield (as in, classic Movie Renfield) is trying to escape. I'm surprised by the lengths the film goes into depicting the emotional trappings of such a relationship - amidst all the funny jokes, that is. It pulls off the unenviable task of being a tonally cohesive Horror comedy, one that leaves no room for doubt as to which moments deserve to be treated seriously or not. Its homage to Golden Age Hollywood cinema and unapologetic queerness are also appreciated.
The House (2022), dir. Emma De Swaef, Niki Lindroth von Bahr, Paloma Baeza, Marc James Roels
The House is a stunning work of stop-motion animation and a solid anthology that explores the existential hang-ups and anxieties of the "Middle Class", crafting solid Horror (and not-so Horror) stories in the process. It has dancing bugs too! I recommend it.
Cocaine Bear (2023), dir. Elizabeth Banks
The last film appearance by the late Ray Liotta. Cocaine Bear is a gruesomely delightful time: a spunky schlock with a killer premise that hooks you up from the start, taking a self-indulgent, humorous sniff at its own status of being "Based on a True Story." This film had the audacity to feature a Wikipedia quote. It's great!
Sweet Home (1989), dir. Kiyoshi Kurosawa
Delightedly, I beheld 1989's Sweet Home, as expertly remastered by Kineko Video. It's a cheesy good time with glorious practical effects and a few, effective low-budget trickeries. I personally give it props for an unexpected Laurel & Hardy's Fra Diavolo reference! This classic is mostly renowned for its videogame adaptation which became a major influence for decades to come.
At the time of writing, the film can be watched on YouTube, making it the most easily accessible entry in this entire column.
Jennifer's Body (2009), dir. Karyn Kusama
It took me this long to finally watch Jennifer's Body, an underrated Horror comedy starring Megan Fox that was unjustly dismissed back in the day. She plays as a literal man-eater, by the way.
There is definitely a lot to enjoy from a modern take on Carmilla whereas the delectably gory blood-feasting works as a backdrop for a toxic high school friendship as well as a commentary on the consequences of sexist exploitation, misogyny and trauma. Save for the occasional slur, it holds up very well.
The Color Out of Space (2019), dir. Richard Stanley
A proper skin-crawler based off the eponymous story by H.P. Lovecraft. Its psychedelic and Stuart Gordon-esque visceral interpretation of the source material is a clever way to circumvent the issue of portraying an "indescribable" alien entity. The Colour, being an unfathomable force outside our science and rationale, serves as a reminder of how insignificant we are in the face of a larger universe we can never hope to comprehend. It works as a metaphor for our atavistic fears.
The film is very much about powerlessness, losing control, losing oneself to the madness or, alternatively, to the realization that nothing was ever "under control." It's Cosmic Horror done right - and also without the racist subtext. Oh, and Nicolas Cage is also in it. I might have buried the lead there.
Gretel and Hansel (2020), dir. Oz Perkins
Here's a scary fairy tale that might have escaped everyone's radar, Gretel and Hansel: a beautifully crafted, meticulously composed film that drenches itself in a disquieting, surreal atmosphere subtly empowered by an alienating soundtrack. It's gripping, to say the least.
The Ritual (2017), dir. David Bruckner
Reviewing and discussing Horror cinema is hard as the truly notable films are best experienced without the burden of knowledge: the viewer should be blindsided by the unknowable terror as much as the characters. That is to say, I can't openly talk about why The Ritual (2017) is great. You should watch it for yourself and get absolutely smack-jawed by the experience.
Society: The Horror (1989), dir. Brian Yuzna
This is unpleasant on an existential level and that, in turn, makes it a really effective Horror. It builds itself as a Kafkian nightmare about the dread of Conformism, feeling out of place in a Society ruled by the white and wealthy, a classic Suburban nightmare scenario. It morphs into an indictment of Capitalism and Classism when the grotesque and revolting third act slimes its way into balls-to-the-wall satire. Bill Warlock (Eddie from Baywatch) puts on the performance of a lifetime as the justifiably paranoid teen protagonist. Shout out to the credited "surreal make-up artist", a man named Screaming Mad George. He did too much of a good job, let me tell you. Needless to say, I recommend this perturbing visual madness with all the content warnings imaginable.
Society waits for you.
Overlord (2018), dir. Julius Avery
I watched Overlord and you should too! It begins as a slickly directed World War II drama before it organically develops into a spectacularly gruesome, intense Action Horror punctuated by a Chef's Kiss of a climax. It gets a special recommendation for the cathartic abuse of nazies! This is the Wolfenstein adaptation you have always wanted.
Willy's Wonderland (2021), dir. Kevin Lewis
Since you can never have enough of Nicolas Cage, here's Willy's Wonderland: a self-aware, genre-flipping, D-grade schlock with the presence of our favourite actor silently and menacingly staring at things - which he does, in spades. The fact that he kills off a bunch of Not-FNAF animatronics is just the icing on the cake! Let me be clear: he does not speak a single word throughout the flick. He's effectively playing "Silent Videogame Protagonist" and his sheer magnetism carries this diegesis to the finish line. A lesser actor would have not been able to pull this off. In all seriousness, Willy's Wonderland works squarely because The Cage was onboard with it. The direction is otherwise unremarkable, the production is even cheaper that one might expect and the rest of the cast is mere fodder. The Cage was its only ace and it played the right hand! That's a whole lot more entertainment value than a film seemingly designed to anger Freddy Fazbear's gooners would realistically deserve. You should watch it if you really want to see Nicolas Cage make sweet love to a pinball machine. Apropos of nothing, did you know that pretentious hack/real life human piss stain Scott Cawthon is a top Republican donor and a pro-lifer? I thought that would be cool information to remember.
The Endless (2017), dir. Justin Benson e Aaron Moorhead
Here's another cosmically disconcerting recommendation for the Lovecraft crowd in the back: if you're looking for a uniquely scary film that deals with the Fear of the Unknown, drowns itself in breath-taking atmosphere and exquisite Uncertainty, I recommend you to watch The Endless. It might knock your existential socks off!
Calamity of a Zombie Girl (2018), dir. Hideaki Iwami
I have kept the "best" for last! Calamity of a Zombie Girl is the weirdest Slasher I have ever seen, mostly due to its inability to keep track of its own genre. It's a B-movie with guts, blood and nudity, a supernatural lesbian romance, a martial arts film and a screwy, goofy comedy all rolled into one cheap-looking animated feature.
The editing is atrocious, constantly abusing the fade-to-black transition without rhyme or reason, the dialogues are inane and contrived, the animation is abysmal (it's a low-budget production by Gonzo, you see) and tonal consistency is downright mythical. In spite of all that, or because of it, the aforementioned bizarre nature of its premise and execution makes it incredibly fun (and funny) to behold, especially when genres collide with each other in relentless, brutal fashion. From the victims' point-of-view (the especially idiotic and ultimately useless extras, I should say) this film plays out like a traditional Slasher flick but from the perspective of the killer, the re-animated zombie girl herself, this is her own action packed Ecchi comedy.
Her first kill occurs as a goof on her part: she shoves a man off like a "dainty dame" and accidentally cracks his skull wide open on a column. Soon after, she rips a guy's arm because he was getting "too friendly" with her and scolds him for his inappropriate behaviour. She then proceeds to have a fight scene with one of the expendable extras because her opponent just happened to be a self-taught Kung Fu master. Also, her undead maid (because of course there's an undead maid) gets kidnapped and she must rescue her! This string of barely held-together nonsense leads to a spectacularly convoluted third act that somehow involves an old abandoned church, a school gym, a game of Anime Sports Ball and a literal Saved by the Bell moment. Did I mention this is all supposed to take place in a non-specific university campus in Japan? Because otherwise you might think the film is happening in two completely different continents! Aside from the immensely idiotic fading transitions, Calamity of a Zombie Girl is hilarious and enjoyable. It's pure, untainted, excellently awful schlock carried to the finish line by the sheer strength of its befuddling ideas. Watch it and tell your friends about it!

henlo :DDD i am here for the Ask Game!!
2, 5, 11, 14, 30
this makes me sound like im ordering from a drive through XD
2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)
I think a left 3rd view of the face is the easiest second to that is facing forward
5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself
60% or so is for myself the rest if I think its good I'll post online and you already seen what I usually post on servers being stupid lil doodles lol
11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what
YEEEESSS III LOOOOVE MUSIC
Honestly this has turned into a playlist of music I just love that happens to relate even to one lyric about my boy lol
but specifically these:
youtube
youtube
and you definitely know why I've been listening to this one ;)
youtube
14. Any favorite motifs
There's alot and since this is my post and my answers and you're my friend
I WONT SPARE YOU THE ESSAY YOU'VE UNLEASHED
So I love love wolves/dogs and rabbits/deer as both are very interesting the differences between dogs and wolves is a fact of freedom, that sure a wolf miiight listen to you (but mostly bc of food or other sources you might give them I mean they're wild) while a dog is absolutely domesticated but...they still bite and when pushed they WILL fight back even if they're loyal
Rabbits and deer esp when combined for a Jackalope are two things: my love of contrasts and double meanings and metaphors for transness!! I see antlers personally, esp since its different between sexes in deer when it comes them and growing/shedding them as a trans thing idk how to explain it lol
now with the contrasts and double meanings with rabbits!! its such a cute lil fluffy thing but its interesting when the rabbit bites down, when you see that the black and white world-view of carnivores and vegetarians are actually blurred and that during winter they'll eat meat when its available most animals and esp rabbits are very opportunistic
and ofc there's the predator and prey aspects of both between dogs/deer and wolves/rabbits!!!
also side note but I also been loving lizards/shrikes and returning to the classic motif for reverie: foxes/ravens (both clever beings that get a bad rap in fairy tales)
also I looooove fairy tales and myths, William several folk tales that I got inspired by, I wonder what sorta scenes and designs and skills based of these: Red Riding Hood (#1 FAIRY TALE) Anything with the big bad wolf, sleeping beuty, beuty and the beast, the white knight/prince charming motif, witches motif, and hansel and grentel but what if one of the kids take the other instead of a parent? Can you really call that your sibling?
like for instance Will has his red cloak that acts as a red "heroic and prince charming/white knight" cape that also has a red hood, not too mention his motivations are mainly pure righteousness and his desinated roles by the story are either prince charming/white knight or love interest (mainly both if he was saving a princess from the princess pov but instead he's saving and protecting the "evil" dragon)
alsoooo MORE CONTRASTS like life/death and growth/rot and sun/moon and ice/fire (again these can be applied to will who has a rot curse but inherant magic for healing and being related to plants and also ice and fire magic
also persephone/hades dynamic esp where you think on the surface its the cute bubbly life and flowers girlie (doesn't even have to be a girl again: will) with their gloomy dark death and rot guy (yes this is talking about the dragon guy buuut he's honestly more of a dark golden retreiver that would eat and kill anyone who messes with will who also has 1 braincell that uses 60% of it to think abt will)
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated
honestly every one of my oc stuff cuz man I put alot of effort into this shit and since this is my post I'll post the ones that I think aren't getting enough attention
I don't think this is underated but putting this here bc I did it on a tablet with a shitty diy stylus that didn't even give me good control and I think I deserve something for how well this came out under those circumstances
ALSOOO!!! IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN WILL THEN PLS SEND ME ASKS I NEED TO TALK MORE ABOUT HIIIIM

Monroe boys headcanons, with some canon facts to have all my thoughts about them in one place:
Trent: born in 2008; green-eyed and has Gerald’s curly hair; Linda’s least favourite; is learning her arrogance, intimidating charisma, boldness, ruthlessness, cynicism, ambition and desperate need for validation, which is exactly why she doesn’t like him, their relationship similar to her and Roman’s relationship when she was younger; easily bored; the worst-behaved at home; popular at school through fear and force of personality; resents all his brothers for having more of their mother’s favour than him, River most of all, whose ‘weakness’ he despises because it reminds him of the parts of himself he’s determined to extinguish; acts like an angel in front of and sucks up to adults besides his parents, partly out of pragmatism, partly out of hunger for approval that he refuses to seek from his ‘inferior’ fellow kids; skilled at tennis, badminton and archery: favourite colour is red
Seaton: born in 2009; not Gerald’s; brown-eyed; follows Trent’s lead and emulates him, having always been in his shadow; his submissiveness in that context belies a more patient, scheming, manipulative, vindictive cruel streak of his own that he saves for personal vendettas and small-scale harassment used as an outlet for his anger and dissatisfaction, happy to leave the bigger picture dominance to Trent and turn being underestimated in comparison into an advantage; the best at effective verbal abuse; prides himself on his social and strategic cleverness and envies Jordan’s academic and intellectual intelligence; secretly ashamed that he doesn’t do quite as well in his classes and feels the need to cheat to try to get perfect grades and make his parents proud; loves animals, especially horses, foxes and dogs, does horse riding and really wants a pet dog (Roman keeps trying to get him into pigs, to no avail); favourite colour is purple
Jordan: born in 2011; not Gerald’s; blue-eyed; the closest to Gerald, often found talking to him about plastic surgery; interested in science, mathematics, fashion and cosmetics; very intelligent and an excellent student, hence Linda’s second favourite; quiet, withdrawn and reflective, has learned to internalize his feelings to not inconvenience his parents and lose their love; the second most ambitious after Trent, but channels it into academic pursuits; joins his older brothers in bullying River only because they’ll turn on him otherwise for his sensitive and nerdy sides, and sometimes do anyway when River isn’t around; however, lacks internal malice (‘strength’ in his family) and is self-aware of this supposed deficit, so keeps himself useful to Trent and Seaton by giving them backup and ideas to be powerful and respected and torment people that he, at least independently, would never have the heart to act on; favourite colour is blue
River: born in 2014; brown-eyed; Linda’s favourite; kind and open thanks to his guileless innocence and being the happiest; the only one with genuine friends; though also spoiled and can be unthinkingly, accidentally insensitive to others’ feelings; creative and imaginative; loves cartoons, musicals and art, his drawings actually talented for his age and all over the Monroes’ fridge; favourite colour is green
In conclusion, they all need therapy and a healthy home environment. A theme with the older three, the eldest two most of all, is that they’ve been led to believe that love is fundamentally conditional. So River being showered in it when he ‘hasn’t done anything’ feels infuriatingly unjust and hypocritical of their parents. Somebody direct Duke Keane to the Monroes. Linda and Gerald may love each other, but they clearly aren’t good parents. I hope in one of the infinite timelines this family has a serious intervention and the boys get to grow up with good role models. They’re kids, guys, they deserve the chance to change.
And yes, Seaton is in Tim’s class (they hate each other).
#the older 3 are very flat in canon so i tried to make them different kinds and levels of mean#the monroe household is a harsh and hostile ecosystem for them; no wonder they’re all survival of the fittest#like i GET the linda monroe love guys#i get it#but i can’t get behind her being interpreted as a good mother#because she is pretty clearly an abusive parent#(spoiling isn’t might not be abuse but it isn’t good parenting either)#although gerald doesn’t seem to be and their marriage is surprisingly healthy and equal#linda monroe#monroe boys#monroe family#gerald monroe#trent monroe#seaton monroe#jordan monroe#river monroe#hatchetfield#hatchetfield series#hatchetverse#hatchetfield headcanons

Year Four: A Lookback
I hope you’re all slipping into safe, warm and cheerful holiday environments. It’s a time of year to gather and rejoice, no matter who you are or how you do it. I’ve got a family reunion coming up in January, so I’ll be happy with myself if I get the Shrek review and a SpongeComs out by the end of the year. But enough about the future, here’s where I think back on Year Four.
Overall, I’m very proud of the videos I put out this year. Looking back on my early SpongeBob rankings and first year of series reviews, I get a little nauseous. The music’s too loud, the screencaps vary from good to potato, and I’m not a clever clog about certain things. I’m keeping them up and I see no point in remaking them, but I hope people watching my stuff in order will hit Year Two, and see it’s a big improvement in every area.
Other than just making the reviews better, I hope every year I’m on YouTube, I do something to make my content more distinct and enjoyable. In Year Three, I created my channel logo, and in Year Five, I’m going to start reviewing movie franchises more regularly. Yes, the Shrek video will be Review 59. But there’s a lot of little things that happened throughout Year Four that I hope have paved the way for a brighter future as EmployeeAMillion, and for my Employee-keteers.
Editing
Starting with the Foster’s review, I switched from iMovie to VN as my primary editing software. iMovie is so mindnumbingly basic that I had to use Cute CUT and Videoleap as secondary editing softwares just for effects. The “Where in the World” swooping shot in my Wild Thornberrys review is impossible to achieve in iMovie by itself, but it’s possible in Cute CUT, and it’s incredibly easy in VN. I’m amazed at how much they let you use for free. Dozens of transition options, animation for photos and videos alike, blending varieties that rival Medibang Paint (which I use for photo edits instead of Photoshop, get bent Adobe). If you’re interested in video production and only have an iPad, VN is my only recommendation.
The only crippling issue I’ve noticed is that the storage capacity is very low on free, but that’s how they get you to pay for it. As for the gigabytes of content I should be backing up, I just delete them from the photo album after a while and pray to the highest heavens that someone in the Netherlands is saving my videos. If my channel gets deleted in 5 minutes……at least I’ll have the experience and resources to start over successfully.
Scheduling
During Years 2 and 3, I used a roulette wheel to pick the next show on my agenda in a linear order, starting with Dexter’s Lab. Before then, I’d just review whatever I wanted. But now I’m more cautious about overdoing a certain network or time period. For instance, in Year 3, I covered 3 NickToons in a row across 4 videos (Avatar, modern FOP and Hey Arnold!). If someone subbed to me for Cartoon Network content, I bet they must’ve felt ignored, so for Year Four, I put together a more organised agenda. I planned the year out in advance with:
-3 NickToon reivews
-3 Cartoon Network reviews
-3 Disney TVA reviews
-3 miscellanious reviews (FOX, Hub, Warner Bros., etc)
-plus the mandatory stuff, Pokémon, ponies and a retro oddity
-all with corresponding dedicated roulette wheels
Additionally, I reviewed the Nick, CN, Disney and misc stuff in a row, before moving onto the next row (in a different order based on when I finish the show, but I bet I’m boring you now.)
The point is, for Year Five, I’m avoiding a potential problem I had this year, focusing too hard on the 2000s, by splitting the rows into decades. My first NickToon and Disney reviews next year (Rugrats and Quack Pack), are for shows that premiered in the 1990s. While Billy & Mandy as we know it premiered in 2001, it’s a big part of the Cartoon Cartoons brand associated with the 90s. And hey, the pilot premiered as a sneak peak on December 27th 1999, so you could ever-so-technically consider it a 90s cartoon. But I digress.
I’ll move through the decades as the year goes on, but I’m excited to get to the 2010s, as it’s not one I’ve visited on the channel very often outside of MLP:FiM, and some the decade’s earlier shows are old enough to be getting nostalgic for animation fans. I don’t know what I’ll cover yet, but it likely won’t be the big ones like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls. I’m more interested in bringing attention to the more niche stuff with smaller fan circles for this decade.
Saturation
In the past, my channel has had a mix of formats and subseries. Year Two was full of a VS series I called “The Show Down”, mainly made to fill the void left after PieGuy and Monsters Review’s “RE-Cast” ended. But I think there’s a reason both these shows have only lasted 2 years. My big Fantastic Voyage lookback was one of the most successful videos on the channel this year, being the 2nd-most viewed behind Dan Vs. The following Show Down is still resting in triple digit viewership. So I ended the series with the Star Wars Show Down, the 21st episode, and conveniently screened it on my 21st birthday. If I’m going to do multi-episode reviews, I’m no longer going to use the Show Down branding, I’m always going to cover more than two, and I won’t make pitting them against each other the emphasis. The C.A.K.E.D. review is a good example of how episode reviews of that variety will look going forward.
But I know what you’re going to ask- What about the Clone video?
I’m still planning on releasing it in Summer, but it’s run into some scripting problems. I’ve watched episodes and written up my final drafts on them, only to scrap them completely. I can’t cover every clone episode in the world, I’m limiting myself to 50. But choosing those 50 is the tricky part. I want to cover as many shows as I can as respectfully as I can this time, but also want to balance them out with instances [clone episode of weird forgotten French show from 1994] to keep the video informative. I like that I introduced a lot of people to Microcops last time, and always hope that my reviews can create new fans of something. So top priority for the clone episode is finding random, obscure shows, which is taking longer than I hoped.
I’m reminded of when Caddicarus used to have at least 5 other recurring series at a time, and completely understand why he retired all of them due to burnout. He slowly got better at his main show after that, and since reinventing its format, he’s been my favourite YouTuber. Of all time. It’s a valuable lesson to focus on quality, and making the kind of series you’re proudest of, that I’ve taken to heart.
The Employment Line
I’m out of education. After 3 years of studying to be a 3D animator (which is where my new 3D logo came from), I’ve grown disillusioned with the currently emotionally draining 3D animation industry, down here and abroad. I didn’t like having dozens of hours of work go to waste for retakes, I didn’t like having lecturers come in to tell us we won’t have families, and I certainly didn’t like hearing about the abuse professional VFX artists on blockbuster movies have gone through in recent years. I’m happy to have met friendly people at university who were accommodating to my needs, but I needed to get out of dodge before I spend the rest of my life in a digital sweatshop.
I may never be an animator, and I’d be surprised if I ever got hired to write for an animated show, but I’m still making money doing what I love. I’ve monetised my channel and put a few ads on my two most recent videos. So far, there are no mid-roll ads, and I never plan to add any. YouTube currently pays in peanuts, but I’m working a part time café job to make some money on the side. Next year, I hope to start working at the café full time.
I hardly share much about my personal life, but I thought you ought to know why there’s a higher chance of seeing ads on my newer videos than my older ones. I don’t do YouTube for a living, but I want it to be worth something.
TL:DR
VN rocks, I’ve improved my release order, slightly streamlined the content, and put the least annoying ads I could on the newest videos. This is the 4th day of Christmas, right? Well, if your true love is loaded and sends you the same things as every year, remember to give those calling birds a good home again.

foxlife
After being tasked by the stag to help protect the forest, Susan the fox soon became one of the most respected creatures in the forest. She used her wit and cunning to solve problems and help the other animals, always with a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
One day, a new animal arrived in the forest - a sly and sneaky coyote who had been driven out of his own territory. The coyote quickly began to cause trouble, stealing food from the other animals and disrupting the peace in the forest.
Susan was determined to put a stop to the coyote's misdeeds, but she knew that simply confronting him would not be enough. Instead, she came up with a clever plan to outsmart the coyote and put an end to his troublemaking.
She gathered all the animals in the forest and held a meeting, where she explained her plan. They were to distract the coyote with a fake feast, while Susan sneaked into his lair and stole back all the food he had taken.
The plan was a success, and the coyote was thoroughly confused as to how all his stolen food had disappeared. He was soon caught and driven out of the forest, never to return.
As a reward for her bravery, the animals of the forest threw a grand feast in Susan's honor. The woodland creatures danced and feasted into the night, telling stories of her mischievous ways and the clever tricks she had played.
However, the celebration was cut short when a fire broke out in the forest. Susan sprang into action, using her quick thinking to help the animals evacuate and find safety. With her leadership, the animals were able to work together to put out the fire and save their home.
After the fire was extinguished, the animals of the forest gathered around Susan, grateful for her bravery and quick thinking. From that day forward, she was known as the protector of the forest, and her playful spirit only added to her legend.
Susan the fox may have started out as a prankster, but she had become so much more - a true hero, who used her cleverness for good and brought joy and laughter to all the creatures in the forest.

Wolf in sheep's clothing Prologue The sun beat down as I flee from the wolves chasing after me. The sound of their paws behind me sends shivers down my spine, and I knew I had to keep going. But how long could I keep running? I gritted my teeth in determination, refusing to let them catch me. Suddenly, I feel a sharp sensation in my leg. A wolf had caught me by surprise and had clawed at my leg, drawing blood. I yelled out in pain, but refused to slow down. It would only mean my end if I did. I tried to ignore the throbbing pain and focus on what was ahead of me. Just as I was about to give up, I was saved by a mysterious creature. It was dark and swift, moving faster than any human or animal I had ever seen. It swept in and knocked the wolf to the ground, causing it to retreat with its wounded pride. The creature then turned to me and helped me up, leading me to the safety of a cave. It was a fox, named Evelyn. She was a cunning and clever creature, and she was there to save me when I needed her most. I was shocked to hear that Evelyn was the one who was teaching me a lesson. She was always so caring and kind, and I couldn't imagine her as a disciplinarian. She had been there for me when I needed her, and I had never felt safer than when I was with her. Despite my leg injury, Evelyn took care of me like a parent taking care of a child. She bandaged my wound and made sure I was eating well. I knew I was in good hands, even though the pain from my injury made me forget about it sometimes. The smell of cranberries filled the room, and I sighed in delight. Evelyn had always been interested in human life, and I wondered if she knew that her wool-made clothes offended me. She always covered her ears with a beanie, and hid her tail in the bottom part of her clothes.

Conservative grooming
Brave Books and Jack Posobiec take a deep dive into the idea of Capitalism Vs Communism with the story of “The Island of Free Ice Cream”. Most should be wary when offered something for free but too often “free” is more enticing than Freedom.
The city of Rushington is home to many creatures and their favorite thing about their busy home is the Rushington Market. No one loves this city or its market more than a clever inventor named Asher.
Life in Rushington is great until a group of deceptive wolves come along and promise they will turn Rushington into the perfect city, overflowing with delicious Free Ice Cream, the same way they did to their home island. All the animals of Rushington buy into the wolves' deception without a thought, all, except for a fox named Asher. Will Asher prove the Wolves wrong and save Rushington or will Rushington crumble under its new rulers?
