does anyone else carry the idea that leshy is sort of cannibalistic/gluttonous like he was in the demo ...in my head he definitely would catch and eat challengers in the hypothetical where he didnt have his camera. if you fail you get devoured, if you succeed you feast with him

ALSO WOULDNT THAT BE SUCH A SICK AU?? the scrybes dont have these magical artifacts so they have to do things their own way ...maybe lose them at some point or in those hypotheticals where the act ii world is recovered they dont have them

i think itd be so interesting because these are beings SO used to having the world catered to their needs and now theyre struggling more for that power ...sure they might have their own personal strengths but aside from that theyre on the same level as their subordinates

ERM IDK HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL LIKE THIS but I have an Inscryption AU where in the past, P03 and the Uberbots had separate bodies and were siblings, and they have a mom that goes by “M0THERB0ARD”. As for how P03+The Uberbots “age” in this AU, when their programming/consciousness reaches a certain level of maturity, they transfer to a larger version of their model. Oh yeah and they also had a horrible father figure that Im still figuring out. [WIP] If anyone is interested in this AU or has questions, feel free to shoot me an ask!

Kaycee is my favourite character in Inscryption. I don't like most of the meta story beats in the game, but there's so much to sympathise with when it comes to her. She's a stand-in for every audience member that fell most in love with act 1, Leshy, and not the others; she's every lonely creative, throwing their life at projects they're never quite sure that anyone will like; what happened to her is genuinely chilling, because it is the endpoint of the real world game industry's rampant capitalism and bigotry. She never fully appears and yet her presence haunts the whole narrative.

I sometimes wonder - when she was forced to bury the game disc under company orders - what was going on through her mind? She'd thrown the past few months of her life at a project that would never see the light of day. There was so, so much more to work on. To create. To enjoy.

And she'd known they were real. Whether it was a hallucination, or a dream, or some prank by the senior devs, they were real. The world of Inscryption was one she lived and breathed, and the human mind isn't quite as good as discerning fact from fiction as you might think.

In a clearing of the middle of the woods, a grave has been dug for a old game disk and a girl's heart. She stares up into the sky and makes a wish, for the first time since she was a child.

hi chat i recently got into inscryption i think im a little late to the party but its ok. i turned the lonely wizard and goobert into warrior cats

(i also tried amber/the pike mage but i couldnt come up with a good design so just know her name would be rubypaw/amberpaw)

you guys better fucking like this p03 humanization sketch it took like 3 times to get this to work.

OK !!! so my main idea going into this was "oh! ive never seen a p03 humanization that takes advantage of his lack of legs!" and i just. took that and ran with it

DESIGN NOTES BELOW(some discuss how he couldve lost his limbs and though theyre not in detail, if the idea of losing a limb is uncomfortable, read with caution!)

p03, or poe in this case, mainly uses a wheelchair. its just a lot more comfortable for him and hed rather sit than stand so he can consistently focus on what hes working on. his alternative is a sports prosthetic which he heavily struggles with, not knowing how to walk and the prosthetic isnt necessarily made for how he uses it.

he only uses the prosthetics when he feels theres a situation where he might want to have more stature or mobility(scrybe meetings, though they dont really care if he cant walk, or going to other scrybes domains, especially leshys with its rough terrain that would absolutely ruin his wheelchair if he wheeled himself through it.)

he is in fact wearing boxers. hes often sitting at a table, or desk, or something where only his waist up is seen, which is why he normally doesnt bother putting on shorts or pants.

two of his fingers and one of his arms(the crank arm in canon) are missing as well, he uses a prosthetic more regularly for those as theyre more essential to him. though he does mostly use his technology for writing as its extremely difficult for him and hes slowly losing that muscle memory.

his color palette is relatively the same except his skin is an olive shade. His eyes are dark grey and his hair is black with grey streaks, three notable as they represent the little thingy things on the top left of his head what the fuck are those

my perception of p03 is very uncaring towards his health and safety, causing a multitude of factory accidents that led to his lack of limbs. he believes that he can just..fix himself back up, something thats proving to be his downfall as he recognizes how frustrating actually lacking his mobility skills is. he also has low pain tolerance. yay!
