if Foreman is House then Chase is Wilson. Foreman gets a brain-eating amoeba which you can parallel to "House's head" and Chase gets stabbed in the heart so that can lead you to "Wilson's Heart." But if you see them with the idea of Chase as House then Foreman is Cuddy. Foreman as the dean of medicine put him in a position of managing House and Chase is filling in the hole that House left as the head of the diagnostics department. They aren't going to be perfect 1:1 of these dynamics because they don't want to be the new House and Cuddy or the new Wilson and House but they are all actively competing in the same "How do I get under your skin and bother you" contest.

This is unhinged but you could tell me it was the plot of a real life episode and brother I'd believe it

in another universe, cuddy and wilson married each other, fell out of love in a few years, but stayed married for their daughter(rachel)'s sake.

one day when house comes over to their place for the first time to formally meet rachel, she starts calling him dada. everyone's confused because wilson is "papa" so she's not confusing house for her dad.

after series of events its revealed that all this time, cuddy and wilson, both have been cheating on each other....with house. and since he would come over while the other partner wasn't at home, rachel just assumed house was just this extra parent she had.

so for her, her family was mommy, papa, dada and she herself (as per the picture she drew in her art class and later proudly hung it up on the fridge).

all of them are just baffled at this point.

speaking of chase’s diary i have always found it deeply insane he stayed in the apartment he and cameron bought together. it’s even the same bed in s8 as it was in 6. my guy

like to be fair it is a nice apartment with a nice layout. it has a deck! it’s lovely! but also when in s8 he says park can stay in the spare room it’s like. oh. oh you mean the room you were absolutely planning on turning into a nursery three years ago? that room???
