For context, I saw a meme on Facebook about a company selling functional vacuum toys for children and the post said something along the lines of "Imagine your kid thinks they're playing but they're actually doing free labor, that's mad I'll take two" 😂

So imagine you're babysitting a friend or family member's small child who's about the age of one or two years. Old enough to walk, but still young enough to not really be able to communicate. Said baby finds a game in following Nifty around, mimicing her actions as she cleans, and the rest of the residents are hanging out in the lobby, observing the two interact. As the baby walks around with their child-sized vacuum toy, Alastor makes a snarky comment, eyeing the child almost in disgust,

"What is point of this frivolous technology? It hardly cleans and yet it makes the same amout of obnoxious noise as a normally functional vacuum cleaner."

When the child starts waddling along in his direction with it's arms raised, Alastor rolls his eyes and simply walks in the opposite direction, ignoring them. The baby then, plops themselves on the floor and starts crawling in your direction.

"Of course you wouldn't know a thing about child rearing. OBVIOUSLY it's to help encourage the child to want to be involved with cleaning..." Lucifer comments smugly before he trails off. His eyebrows scrunch in confusion as Nifty starts running around the lobby with the child's toy, "vacuuming" the floor.

Before you even THINK about your response you blurt out with a laugh, reaching down to pick up the baby, "Oh, you're one to talk about raising a child! Says the one whoooo..." You stop yourself from finishing that sentence. The silence in the room is deafening for a hot second.

Your eyes widen as you take in what you just implied, watching as Lucifer's head whips around in your direction. "Ummm excuse the fuck outta me? What's that supposed to mean?"

Your mouth opens and closes, completely speechless. "S-says the one whoooo..whoooo's a great father! Youuu!" You give him the biggest, fake smile you can achieve, meanwhile you're internally cursing yourself. The audacity you've gotta have...
