I had to reorganize my candles and decided this would be a perfect time to document my collection! These are candles I don't consider to be seasonal.

Of these, my favorites are:

1) Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla & Paris Cafe from B&BW

2) Banana Bread from Yankee Candle

3) Philharmagic from Main Street Melts Candle Co.

The B&BW Give Comfort (Peach on Earth) candle also has a special place in my heart as it was a gift from my partner ❤️

Want to smell like a yummy fresh baked gingerbread cookie?!

Make this for yourself or make a bunch for gifts!

Prep: 5 mins - EASY

1 cup of dark brown sugar

1/4 coconut solid oil

1 Tablespoon blackstrap molasses (FACT: molasses contains lactic acid and can help treat acne, eczema and rosacea. It also has anti aging antioxidants and it sooths skin!) So yeah...use it!

1 teaspoon cinnamon, dried ground ginger and 1/3 teaspoons of dried ground cloves.

Option: a teaspoon of vanilla

Mix all well in a bowl then transfer to mason jars. Add labels that say put on damp skin and scrub lightly. Wash off.

Also - warn them that they will smell like a snack so they might have to sing "catch me if you can I'm the gingerbread man" or replace with correct name :)

Last Semi Annual Sale Haul!!

Here are my first impressions/reviews:

Pink Lavender Espresso- this one smells soooo cozy! i’m really excited to get it burning and see how it smells then. i think it would be nice to burn on a cozy rainy day in or maybe in cold weather ☕️

Lavender Vetiver- i got this one going in my bathroom today. i like it so far, it’s more of a woodsy scent than the sweet floral that usually is lavender from bath and body but i really like it! 🌲

Amethyst Dreams- i’ve had this one before and i loved it! it’s kind of hard to put the scent into words but it smells very fresh and clean with some floral. 💜

Raspberries & Whipped Vanilla- this one is a favorite, so i got it in the wallflower and room spray. it is a super sweet scent and true to its name! i really like to use it around Valentine’s Day, but it’s great year round as well 🍨

Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla- this is a bath and body works staple. it smells like cinnamon sugar deserts and it’s perfect to use year round 🍮

Sapphire Quartz- amazing! it’s woodsy and also has a cologne like scent to it. it is STRONG though! i plugged it in in my bedroom today and it has filled my whole apartment with its scent! 💎

Pure Wonder- had to get a backup of this! i used this so much more than i expected last winter. it’s a sophisticated and magical scent with some floral and some amber to it! 💕

Bamboo & Surf- i’m so glad i ended up getting this one. it smells like a nautical bamboo! perfect for summer. 🎋

Golden Sunflower- a favorite of mine, but i only got the mini mist in the past. it’s true to its name and is perfect for the end of summer! 🌻

Hand Sanitizers- they all smell great. i’m not going to go through and give a first impression for all of them right now but will likely review them as i use them. on first impression this Pink Peach Blossom is really standing out to me so i’ll be using it first! 🍑

Flowerchild- i’ve had this is the wallflower and it is so good. it reminds me of the retired scent Carried Away and it’s just as whimsical a floral as i remember that being. ��

Car Fragrances- excited to have Iced Dragonfruit Tea, i’ve had it in the wallflower before and it’s so refreshing and fruity. i’ve had Warm Ocean Breeze in the car fragrance before and really liked it. Indigo Paradise is completely new to me so i’ll likely review it when i use it! 🌊

i've been trying to think of what i want to talk about for a while and yet i keep blanking (monday vibes) BUT i guess i can say that i love cooking ? i've always enjoyed it since i was young (more so baking back then, which i still enjoy ofc), but it's been great to diversify and try more things as i've gotten older. being vegan is sort of a helpful challenge in that regard - sometimes i want some old favourite dish of mine for dinner, but i'll need to find a way to tweak it so that it suits my current diet. and tbh i'm pretty good at finding workarounds !

i basically have a whole damn apothecary of spices and other ingredients, which i cherish dearly. i had a friend over yesterday and he saw the spice rack above my sink and he was like ouh look at all these spices

and i was like. man. that's just an overflow rack.

and this isn't even EVERYTHING i swear to god i just reorganised these drawers/cupboards and it's already out of hand

BUT YEAH i love to cook :]
