Happy Sunday! I went to our local art museum with some friends today and had a really nice time. Normally I’m not a museum person but today was good! You big on museums? Do you have favorite art styles you like to go for? Hope your week ahead is calm and relaxing! Sending lots good vibes - SMA
i LOVE museums and i am really big into romanticism / neoclassicism because i like DRAMA i like BLEEDING CATHOLICS i like SEXY SAINTS i like DEATH AND DESTRUCTION but like dramatiqúe and i want to look at a beautiful painting and feel something strong about it but also have the near-certain feeling that the artist was very gay you know what i mean
my week is going okay and i am currently on the hunt for the perfect artist to commission some anniversary art for gf and also ? if anybody reading this has any experience in the jewellery world and knows things about custom rings i have some questions i cannot find internet answers to lol

Last night I almost found myself wishing I wasn’t vegetarian. I wanted noodles, so I was going through the menu of Chinese restaurant after Chinese restaurant, and so many of them had galleries of food photos that looked amazing. About half of them had descriptions of food in English (most--but not all--of them at least listed the name of the dish in English, but in many either the description was in Chinese or there was no description beyond the name of the dish on the web menu; luckily most of the names were also reasonably descriptive), and several of the descriptions sounded like I would love them if they used tofu or fake meat. Too bad I hate the taste of meat, because everything else sounded so good, from the sauces to the vegetables they came with in their pictures, to the style of cooking.
Eventually, like maybe the 7th or 8th Chinese restaurant I tried did have real vegetarian dishes--not just veggie side dishes--and I ordered food and it was pretty good. (It was not noodles, though.) I got one of my favorites, which is only available in a  vegetarian version like 10% of the time when I find it on a menu, but this menu said it was, so that was great. I was in the mood to branch out more, but getting a favorite that I can’t always find is the next best thing.
But I really would have liked to try some of those other restaurants, some of which are within walking distance of me. (And whatever they’re paying their food photographers they should probably pay them more.)
