i don't keep up with the bp girls (aside of j*soo) but seeing the little j*nnie vs r*se popularity thing in music is making me think of yvan and poppy because, in a way, that's how i see their popularity. i think yvan is like j*nnie. super popular, pretty much liked everywhere ESPECIALLY in the western market, the token kpop girl (in this case enby) for the annoying gays on twitter or for those who just got into kpop, their posts / their pictures / tweets that include them always going viral and doing numbers. AND PLEASE DONT GET ME WRONG, i've seen j*n is doing good with that solo and that she's doing much better than others but in a way i think it COULD be much better, yknow? especially for someone who is soooooooo popular in various markets, including fashion... and that's what i've always envisioned for yvan. their music will always do good because it's YVAN. yvan will DO GOOD always. plus... they CAN SING and PERFORM....! but stan / social media hype is not always the best and it will be shown in their views / streams / lack of support on their music. they will ALWAYS go viral, though!

and i see poppy in r*se (and j*soo kinda but mostly r*se) with the way she's killing it with apt right now. we all know r*sie is popular and pretty much loved by many idols / stans and that the hype for her IS there, but i've always thought that she was overshadowed by her members. and now look at those apt streams and views and snatching #1 charts because why did she eat j*nnie up with one song KINDA.......... at least from what i've seen. that's how i've always envisioned poppy's popularity. it might seem that her hype and popularity is just because of hiraeth / her visuals / her hotel del luna popularity but the hype for her IS there, so i fully believe that she does CRAZY good with her music and solo endevarous (i don't know how to write that). especially in the asian/europe market. i know they fawking loooooooove her unserious ass! who doesn't luv and underdog....... plus, in terms of creating their own music, poppy is a lot more involved as a producer and composer (she just lacks writing skills.......shes getting there, though) so i think that makes people go :O because what is she cookin!

and yvan loves poppy down. that's their sister! but i think this makes them feel a certain way towards her. like why you and not me? but i don't think they dwell deep into this because, like i said, yvan loves poppy down. the feeling is still there, though, and probably is the cause of some cold wars between the two because what isn't sisterhood without their little dose of jealously and overthinking.

I WANNA TALK ABOUT THE FUCKING EISNERS-

i've been finding lately that there are so many topics i still wanna talk about concerning LO and its development and they just don't happen because i get distracted or busy and my brain is like "ok we're just gonna pretend we've already talked about it even though we haven't" JFKDLSAJFDASKLFJSLKA

Let's talk about the Eisners and LO's recent 'win'.

I've already briefly mentioned in previous posts that LO has had a lot of its awards and accolades bought for it. This is especially true for both the NYT Bestseller label (seriously, none of those labels are ever earned, it's not some top 100 list that you compete on, it goes to whoever is willing to pay for it or whoever an editorial column wants to highlight) and, of course, the Eisner Award, which is not exactly an award judged by the industry's finest (the judges this year were made up of largely comic book shop owners and librarians).

But we're not here to talk about that. I wanna talk about what happened after LO won its second Eisner.

First off, the fact that it can be nominated at all when it doesn't even really fit the criteria for their submissions is sketchy at best:

see: "new, professionally produced long-form original comics work posted online in 2022." LO is not 'new'. Sure, it has new episodes, but I don't think that really follows the spirit of what they meant by 'new'. The Eisner doesn't seem like an award that should be granted to the same series twice, is my point, and that's one of the many complaints brought up in the absolute dressing down that LO got in its announcement post on the Webtoons Official IG page.

But for the sake of fun, let's share some of the excerpts here.

(and yes I'm sharing a LOT of these because frankly I don't trust WT to not delete them in an attempt to hide all the shit that's being thrown at their precious "baby")

While names have been censored to protect the users involve, I will say one thing - this isn't some attempt from antiLO/ULO members to brigade the series' win, there are other comic creators in this discussion as well from the Canvas section who aren't pleased with seeing LO win another Eisner when there are multiple new series from this past year alone which deserve more attention than they're getting. Again, see for yourself if you click on the link above, the vast majority of comments on this post are expressing their disappointment and you can tell from how they've been sitting at the top while all the positive comments are being 'pushed' to the bottom - the like counts say it all.

All of this, paired with the fact that LO didn't win a SINGLE user-voted award during the Webtoonies, goes to show that the Webtoons audience is over LO. They're done with it. It's not relevant anymore, the only ones who still keep up with it are the stans and those holding on in the hopes that the story gets around to resolving the SA plotline and gets its TV show (which I've also mentioned has a real possibility of not happening, at least not now when it would count the most LMAO)

It still gets more likes than any other series on the platform (for now) but you can tell during its current hiatus that when LO is out of sight, it's out of people's minds - despite many of these episodes now being weeks old, their like counts aren't going up, no new readers are being pulled in. And the fact that a series with over 6 million subscribers can barely scratch 100k likes nowadays is... really something.

And that's on its free to read episodes, it's FP episodes - where views count the most because it's where LO makes its money and initial views - aren't even a fraction of what the free episodes often take well over a week to gain at this point.

Compare it to Down to Earth which gets 70k likes on average on its free episodes (though its current new FP is sitting at the 1k mark), is LO still bringing in higher numbers than other series? Yes. But it's clearly falling to a point where it's going to be on par with every other comic on the platform in no time. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like after it comes back from this poorly-timed hiatus, when all of its official fan groups have also been shuttered preventing people from staying in touch within their own fandom.

Awards like the Webtoonies are, while largely just for street cred, still audience-based, and I really hope the fact that the people have spoken not once, but twice through their engagement with the platform - both through the comment section on LO's Eisner win and the votes in favor of other series in the Webtoonies - will be a major wake-up call to WT that they can't keep trying the same things over and over again expecting different results. They can't keep stuffing money into LO as if advertising or awards are the reason LO isn't pulling in the numbers it used to. They can't keep pretending that LO still has the merit and credibility that it once had 5 years ago.

It's like that comparison from Super Eyepatch Wolf talking about why you shouldn't take advice on how to be "successful" from Youtubers who got famous 5+ years ago:

"Say you decide you want to become a carpenter, and particularly, how to build a nice chair. Think about the kind of person you'd want to learn that skill from. Would it be from someone who has built nice chairs every day for 20 years? Or would it be the guy who built one nice chair five years ago out of a special kind of wood that doesn't exist anymore, who has no experience with the kind of wood available to you now?"

LO is a byproduct of a version of Webtoons that no longer exists. It was fortunate enough to join the Canvas section when the Canvas section was still only lightly populated, before WT started trying to sell the idea that anyone could become "rich" on their platform (an idea largely perpetuated by creators LIKE RACHEL who only became big because WT threw all of their money at them), before Greek myth comics became commonplace (again, something that's a consequence of Rachel/Lore Olympus) and before the romance genre became largely filled with problematic "dark" romances (again, see Lore Olympus).

Do you see the pattern of what I'm talking about here? A lot of what Webtoons became known for was a byproduct of Lore Olympus and series like it, because those series did phenomenally well, due to being in the right place at the right time, so WT went "hey, cool, this makes us lots of money! Let's do more of that!" Obviously this isn't to say that Lore Olympus is the root of all evil here OR that it didn't have its own merit back in the day, but if you make a series that blows every other series out of the water in stats, it's only natural for a company to want to pursue more series and story tropes like it in the hopes that it'll replicate exactly what comics like LO did, completely misunderstanding why LO did well in the first place. At the time, LO's art was unique for the platform, and it was tackling a story that was extremely popular on platforms like Tumblr so it naturally gained a crowd.

But that was five years ago. Since then, the WT audience climate has changed dramatically, as it always does every few years; and LO and WT haven't kept up. We went through a phase of BL, isekai, and now WT seems to be in an odd limbo because it's still clinging to a series from three whole lifetimes ago, especially now with so many of its other signature series either finally ending (True Beauty) or walking away from the platform entirely (Let's Play).

At this point, Lore Olympus is a chair that was nice five years ago, but has since started to fall apart - its paint is chipping, and its legs don't stand up so well anymore - and WT is still trying to sell it you as the exact same chair - with cheap new paint and a few bits and bobs attached to try and convince you that the chair is new - but it's long past its prime. This isn't to say that the chair itself doesn't deserve to exist, just that it shouldn't be given so much proprietary advertising and attention when there are so many other works on the platform that deserve to be uplifted and seen.

LO was good for its era, it was successful for a reason, but we're halfway through 2023 and it's painfully obvious that the comic and the platform's audience is ready to move on to new territories. Webtoons just needs to learn to let go.

Earlier today, I watched The Amazing Digital Circus, and these are my final thoughts.

Honestly, the pilot was really good, and I'm looking forward to it finally becoming a full-fledged series. And I'm looking forward to it expanding the Lore as well. I'm curious as to how Pomni got trapped there in the first place and other stuff like the void and the exit door thing.

What I appreciate it is that it didn't need copious amounts of swearing, unlike other comedy web series like Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. There were swears, but they were more spread out and brief on top of the swears being censored.

Even though Gooseworx has worked with Vivziepop in the past, I find TADC to be leagues better than HH and HB. I've seen a video about the drama surrounding Gooseworx, but from what I've seen,the stuff they have done is much more tame than the shit Vivziepop has pulled.

I hope to see more Amazing Digital Circus content to come out in the future. I'm interested as to see where the series will go. Unlike Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, it didn't feel like I was watching something that felt like it was created by an edgy middle schooler. The female characters had much more personality than the ones from HH and HB, despite it being just a pilot.

Another thing to point out is that the cast of TADC had a lot of fresh faces to the voice acting industry, unlike Hazbin and Helluva Boss, where Vivziepop relied on casting big name actors in order to garner more attention to her work. And I'm going to be fully honest, I find it really sus at the fact that the OG cast of HH couldn't return because they didn't unionize in order to get their roles back. A lot of them were fully new to the industry, too, which is the sad part. I wish that Vivziepop wouldn't rely on hiring big-name actors in her work and would hire people who are very new to the voice acting scene who are desperate to land a role as some of them rely on voice acting as their main source of income.

To end this post, I just want to point out that I'm not blaming Vivziepop for the fact that the original cast of Hazbin Hotel didn't get their roles back. But at the same time, that whole situation feels questionable to me. Until I hear the full story about it, then I'll decide if she should be held accountable or not. However, the whole hiring big actors thing has been a critique of mine for a while on top of the use of the r slur in Helluva Boss (even though it was only said once and was almost again, it shouldn't have been used at all as it's an ableist slur and I'm a disabled person who has been called the r slur many times in the past). I'm fully aware that HB takes place in hell, but using hell as a way to excuse the use of the r slur is ableist. It's still ableist to call someone the r slur regardless of the setting and the context. The r slur should never be used as a way to call someone stupid. I'm not sure if Vivziepop wrote the script herself, but whoever is in charge of the script should be careful of the type of language they use in the show. I'm fully aware that both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are adult shows, but it doesn't mean it's an excuse to normalize offensive and bigoted language. It doesn't help that the shows poorly portray women (like how Millie is just reduced to being Moxxie's wife and likes killing) even though the creator of both shows is a woman.

I'm just gonna stop here for now. I'm going to go back to waiting for more Amazing Digital Circus content to come out.

I personally don't really know how to feel abt this, bc I also consume a ton of animal animanga content, do enjoy some of the more gorey series, but I wasn't aware that such an acclaimed title was in fact questionable to this extent. I do think that it's probably safe to say that their opinions are based on the r15 version since it was even televised and seems to be deemed by the general public as the only version. I wouldn't be surprised if they watched it bc it is popular and didn't dive deeper into it, but then its a rather unfortune case of ignorance. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to defend or go easy on them just bc I like most of those idols; it's just that I think there are more aspects to consider rather than throwing around such serious accusations (which Im not saying youre doing, its abiut naming them p*dos). thank you for the further context about woozi, i am not really at all deep into the svt fandom or anything so i didn't know where all to look to find information on it! i do think people are bringing things up for the wrong reasons, and there was a lot of misinformation spread perhaps done intentionally i truly don't know, and truly there is a limit to what we know about the censored version of the show in sk. if it was broadcast on tv, i would like to believe that it could not be broadcast with any sort of gross or harmful undertones to it, but i also just don't know to that extent.

what i personally think is important now and moving forward is that people become aware of what is questionable and wrong about the series both in anime and manga. the argument of "well he didn't recommend it really!" is getting a bit tired because that isn't the core of the issue and not what the focus should be. anime fans and manga fans are already shitting bricks over this saying it's ridiculous that kpop stans find the content of the show and manga concerning, which can't be helped and their opinions likely won't ever be changed if they're defending it so staunchly. in the case of ignorance, we can only hope that talking about concerns will be heard and understood. i added the title and abbreviation of the anime title in the tags of the original bullet point list, since so many versions of it have been reblogged and since i reblogged it to add onto it, any changes made to the post won't show in those reblogged versions ><

During my time in this fandom, I've learned something about the stans of all the ninja as well as Pixal, Garmadon, and Wu. (this is all /lh btw, not poking fun at anyone for whoever they stan)

Kai stans: Literally all they want is for him to go apeshit because of "evil Kai" or whatever.

Lloyd stans: All unanimously adore him and want him to both recover from his trauma and suffer intense trauma.

Jay stans: All of them are 14-15 years old, no exceptions, except for the very small group of people older than 15.

Cole stans: They wish he were real because they're ALL simps for him.

Nya stans: Everyone agrees that Skybound was fucked up as shit and wishes that season treated her better.

Scooby Doo is so funny to me. You have a group of four teens, whose looks haven't changed since 1969. They have a pet dog who talks, they ride around in a multi-colored van and drive to the weirdest places around, to find out who's hiding under a latex mask this time.

Sometimes NO ONE wants these fuckers around but they say "screw you" and set up the most elaborate Rube Goldberg machine to catch some dude in a costume with a goofyass name, like "The Freaky Wolfdude".

I could give the basic rundown of "the Mystery Group find a place where someone is terrorizing it, and they have to speak with the locals, make a list of suspects, use Scooby and Shaggy as bait for a scooby snack or two, and then they catch the monster, who's like 'and I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you dumbasses and your talking dog!'" and you wouldn't know if I was referring to a movie or an episode. If an episode, which episode? Of which series?

This franchise is funny for a REASON, and everything above is the reason, it's been fresh and unique since 1969

Hi I have a bit of an observation about like boobers/inniters/ Wilbur fans (?) etc. vs like dteam and mostly Dream fans

When dream smp was in its infancy most fanbase were pretty decent to each other and had A LOT more overlap than it has now and I think as Dream got larger and more controversial things started popping up people left his fandom (which is fine no one is forcing anyone to stay) but when they left they stayed pretty hostile towards him? So that pattern continued and of course this was fueled with like L**ks (I don’t know what to censor I don’t want people to attack 😭) and having that stuff open on public platforms like twitter and tumblr so when he got into hot water again the people who didn’t like him and left from the previous controversy would swoop in and go “oh well here is his face or his address or his family and this bit of personal info that solidified our hate towards him or what we feel like is some just punishment” and it like went from people who really liked someone to people who were morbidly curious on personal information of a man who is pretty secretive about his personal life who they are mad or upset with and it like morphed into like parasocial but a negative one and of course January 2021 which I don’t even want to think about 😭 but those previous fans or even casual watchers who saw this and got turned off of Dream the next step away isn’t going to be people in his super close inner circle (or for most people) it’s going to be people who still make the content you like (aka minecraft) but who are slightly more removed like ranboo and Tommy bc ranboo is still new and has no controversies to his name and has kinda separated himself and Tommy would crack jokes about Dream being evil and bad (which were mostly mocking his own fans or making jokes about his dmsp character) but his fans took it as the Bible . So now here we are 2023 groups of people who used to be fans of or okay with Dream who got essentially indoctrinated into this negative parasocial relationship bc they know everything about Dream more than he’s probably aware is publicly abalone on social media they know what Dream is doing they are in his replies before fans are they are in his private they watch entire streams of his just to find ANYTHING to pick out to harass or to prove this narrative that Dream is the devil. Because listen you’re allowed to not like someone for whatever reason you want to truly and Dream has made mistakes and people don’t accept his apologies I get it totally cool and he’s not the only internet creator who gets dunked on with jokes I get it it’s the status quo. But what’s not cool or normal is this weird like obsessive hate and like searching and spreading doxxed information about someone and having their notification on or following their fans and harassing them and I see a lot of inniters and boobers and previous Dream fans who move over to them do it A LOT. Which leads me to my theory that all those “crazy dream Stans “ everyone talks about and that created this stigma around his fan base starting in 2020 those fans still exist but they aren’t Dream stans anymore they are boobers and inniters. what do censored words look like in online fandom context?

this particular type of self-censoring—on a word-level rather than systemic level—occurs when someone uses special characters, spaces, or other substitutions to alter an original word/name/title. this is usually done in a manner that leaves the word legible.

the most common version you’ll encounter is the first one, in which one or more letters are swapped out for an *.

what self-censoring words does:

removes a word that would otherwise appear in search results (eg “hann!bal” does not show up in searches for “hannibal”)

removes a word that would otherwise be caught by filters set to filter out that word (eg “p*rple” is not caught when filtering out “purple”)

virtue-signals—it gives your followers a hint about what type of content you oppose or do not like (eg if I see someone use “j@ne” or “j.ane/b.ob”, I assume that OP doesn’t like jane or the jane/bob ship)

subcategory of virtue signaling: humorous virtue signaling (eg, “I hate ch*ese”)

In its most basic form, censorship is like a captcha—it exists to fool machines or search algorithms while remaining legible to humans.

But because of its usage in virtue signaling, for better or worse, censoring words now carries connotations of Serious ideological Disagreement. This is why humorous virtue signaling works: “I hate ch*ese” adds Serious Ideological Disagreement to my simple dislike of cheese, and implies that I think cheese is somehow Problematic™.

when you censor a word, it doesn’t show up in searches and it also doesn’t get caught by filters. people who are triggered by that word and blacklisted it to protect themselves are now going to encounter it in your post.

things to stop doing ASAP

stop censoring trigger words. seriously, stop. this doesn’t mean you have to type out slurs without censoring them, but do include a tag like “f-slur” or “misogynistic slurs” in order to help those who have blacklisted a given word. if you’re going to censor “t*rf,” I’d better see the “transphobia” warning tag on your post. and for the love of god, don’t censor tags like “rac*sm”

consider people with screenreaders, who are going to hear your special characters read aloud, and use them sparingly. “a.lice” is gonna sound confusing, but presumably less confusing than “@l*c#.” (people with screenreaders, feel free to chime in on your preferred methods of self-censorship!)

these days, about 90% of the time I encounter a censored word, especially a word that is specific to fandoms (a title, name, or ship), it seems like OP’s purpose is virtue-signaling. it’s hard to tell who is and isn’t aware that they’re also adhering to basic standards of community etiquette by keeping hate out of a tag, but occasionally someone does something that makes it painfully obvious how unaware they are: they tag the thing they just censored. if I type out “d*sney” but then tag my post “disney,” I defeat the entire point of censoring the word in the first place—unless my purpose begins and ends at virtue signaling.

the solution to this is to use “d*sney” in the body of my post and “anti-disney” in the tags. anti-X tags have a few purposes: to keep hate out of the X tag, to potentially help you find other fans who dislike X, and to ensure anti-X content can still be caught by filters.

in conclusion, 

know why you’re censoring a given word. 

if your intent is to minimize harm, you may not be achieving that simply by swapping in an asterisk. and if your intent is not to look like an idiot, you’ll want to avoid mistake #3 above.

k**a did an interview with pmc recently about babymetal and the metalverse and what direction they would be going in(i'll talk more about it later on)

it was announced that k**ametal(NOT Key Kobayashi a.k.a his real name) would be appointed as director of kulture co., ltd, and a part of the statement said that babymetal would be the forefront of that by using nft blockchains in regards to the metalverse

a shareholders meeting was held at amuse and the bm fans who were there straight up said that they didn't want the metalverse thing and wanted live shows for babymetal, and were concerned that other amuse groups are planning live shows while babymetal had none; it seems that amuse or bm's management(p.s i'm assuming koba was not there) are aware that on social media people are asking for live shows, and that they would have plans for it. (a fan that attended also said that they got a glimpse of a new music video as well, but of course we don't know anything as of now.)

Film Critique; South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut

Fun fact! The movie is called “South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut” because of the original title “South Park: All Hell Breaks Loose” but the MPAA forced them to change the title. So Trey Parker and Matt Stone came up with a worse name in spite, the title also in itself a double entendre. 

    This movie came out on June 30th 1999. It’s a tv movie on the long running show South Park. It’s 81 minutes long, and the director is Trey Parker, the same guy who made the show (co-creator Matt Stone but he’s not the creative direction of this show/movie). It ended up making 83.1 million in the box office, its budget was 21 million USD and it got an 80% on rotten tomatoes. This movie is actually a musical, making fun of the Disney Renaissance thing at the time when they were making the movie.

• One review I found that describes this whole movie perfectly is “This is probably one of the best adaptations to a cartoon I’ve ever seen. To start things out, I love the writing. It’s brilliant, smart, and entertaining. And don’t get me started on the music, it’s probably one of the best soundtracks to an animated movie in film history. With songs like “What would Brian Boitano do?” And “Blame Canada” being earworms to the brain because of them being REALLY catchy. And despite being an over 20 year old film, the movie still feels very funny with the edgy, raunchy humor that South Park is known for, and I think it pulls off REALLY well. Most of the people who voiced/played in this movie are Trey Parker and Matt Stone themselves. There’s also Mary Kay Bergman ( someone who has voiced over 400 characters in media so you'll be bound to know one of her voices), Isaac Hayes, John Venzon, and Marc Shaiman. Some other voices were audio samples and guest voices. 

The movie was based on the first season episode called “Death” Parker and Stone wanted to continue the idea of the parents protesting against a tv show they found inappropriate for children. They originally made that episode with a movie in mind too. 

Elements of this movie are the songs, considering that the movie is a musical there’s exactly sixteen songs. Each of them is phenomenal and amazing. They were written by Trey Parker, someone who has written many other songs before and also Marc Shaiman wrote the songs along with Trey Parker. For example “Mountain Town” is the song that introduces the main characters; Stan Marsh, Kenny McCormick, Kyle Broflovski and Eric Cartman where they go towards the movie theater which then introduces the main conflict of the movie. Every song is so amazing and well written, they also move the plot along. 

Elements and things that could’ve been improved, isn’t really anything. The music was great, the storyline and different plot points were interesting and tied together well. The only complaint I was even able to find was the time the movie came out! There’s not much to pick at for this movie, there may be one inconsistency with the movie and show when comparing, Sheila Brofoflovski hates Canadians in the movie even though she has an adopted son who’s Canadian. Although that was covered in the end of the movie when Kyle points it out. She was too focused on the thought of protecting children from adult things that she lost focus on her own children’s needs.

Usually when Trey/Matt make stuff it’s to be funny. But when they try to be funny it isn’t just offensive humor, even though that’s what everyone usually thinks south park is. It’s always some kind of commentary on what’s happening and then spewed into a parody of things and the perspective of fourth/third graders. The elements into making this movie was like making a longer, more impactful musical version of just another episode of South Park. The animation is paper cut outs of little people, the whole point of it is to look crappy. 

Although originally when making the pilot for the show they had done stop-motion animation with paper. Now and especially with the movie, the animation is made using Alias|Wavefront PowerAnimator, running on SGI O2 and Octane workstations. Though the characters are mapped they have a paper texture to keep going with the stop-motion paper cut out style. One of my favorite shots has to be when Cartman uses a broken chip that was implanted into him which shocks him when he swears. But because it was broken he could zap anyone when he swears, so when he goes to defeat Saddam Hussein there’s a 360 shot of Cartman with lightning around him saying many swears to send Hussein back to hell.

The elements in this film, musical based and advertised as inappropriate, do really impact this film. The music pushes everything along. The swearing and such shows how children act and it’s a commentary on how parents will push the blame onto the media for how their children act and how it’s their job to make sure children aren’t watching. Which is also a thing about kids watching South Park. The incorporation of Kenny always dying but being sent to hell this time to fix Satan and Hussein’s relationship so they don’t go to earth and overrun everything because if Sheila kills two Canadians (Terrance and Phillip) then they can rule everything. 

I love this movie. I unironically would put it in my top five list of favorites movies. It’s truly iconic and I do listen to the songs from time to time. I’d definitely recommend it if you’ve seen the first few seasons of South Park. 5/5 this movie is still funny and good to this day.

and well we know that Asmodeus’s canon nickname is Ozzie, and Mammon’s fanon nickname is Manny (because I started to call him by the nickname Manny, I would like to tease him with that nickname. XP )

but as for Beezlebub, well I can’t help but have a certain nickname in mind for her even if it might never be canon...

and well it’s a nickname that I’m gonna kind of censor in this....

so yeah, anyway....her nickname would be Beezleb*tch.

not sure what her official appearance will be or when she will be in a episode, but in my fan headcanon, her nickname is Beezleb**ch.....

I do have a theory that the episode was suppose to be in Season 1 of Helluva Boss, where Blitz and Loona go to some party...?

my guess is that it is possible that episode might end up being part of Season 2, because of certain reasons...

I don’t mind waiting for that episode, and I’m sure the Team that works on the show are doing there best and hope they are making sure to take some breaks, like for food, sleep and well, maybe even watching a movie or playing a video game...

I got to say that it was awesome for not ending up like certain shows that portray those who live in a place where everyone is viewed as a “hillbilly”

still, jokes on some people, I might technically be a Hillbilly...

I mean, the whole “backwards hillbilly” trope could still be used in some shows and movies, but some humans should have common sense to know that not everyone who is a hillbilly, will be like that.

and there can be other reasons why some might end up missing some teeth, which by the way, wouldn’t be for whatever reason that is shown in the backwards trope...

don’t know how many go through it, and plus some who aren’t even living in the places where they are called hillbillies...

there could be different reasons why it can happen, but even if it does happen, don’t give some the right to just assume whatever it is they are thinking, no matter if it is “hillbilly stereotyping” or something else...  

 anyway, we know that Blitz did give a stereotypical comment about Imps from the Wrath Ring, but it’s possible that he knows that some of the stereotyping of the Imps from the Wrath Ring, is not 100% true.

it could be possible that some Imps from each ring, will marry other Imps from other rings, and if Striker is a hybrid type Imp...

then it could be possible that at some point in the past, Imps started to marry or had some kind of affair with other non-Imps, and ended up having Imp Hybrid offspring together.

also one of my Helluva Boss theories, is that a Female Imp’s horns are made out of some type of obsidian, well that is a weird theory but not all theories have to be correct...

it could be possible that we wont see the other princes right away in Helluva Boss, but we might end up seeing Stella’s brother and even Mammon next at some point in the future.

a weird thought pop into my head just now, picturing Stella’s brother doing that whole hand to the wall and leaning to a person who’s back is to the wall trope...

and the one he is doing that to is Collin....

that ship might only stay in the fanon, but I guess I would be surprised if that ship ended up becoming popular, but how many would end up shipping Collin x Andrealphus together...?

I came to the theory that when Lilith left Adam, she was pregnant with his unborn child or children....

and it might of been a good thing she left, because the bad stress wouldn’t of been good for the baby or babies if she was going to have twins.

and if Lilith had 100 children, the ones that she had with Adam, would be the eldest....

not everyone has to agree to that theory, but I think it could be possible that Lilith was pregnant when she left Adam.

also the weirdest theory I have is that Fizzarolli and Blitzo had ended up switching bodies, before the whole Stolas x Blitz affair and before Fizzarolli started to work with Ozzie and before he got those robotic limbs.

which if that theory were true, that would mean that the Blitz we know, was originally Fizzarolli and the Fizzarolli we know was originally Blitzo.

both could love horses, even if their friendship fell apart.

Fizzarolli, who now goes by Blitz and doesn’t want to go by the “o” because it is silent now....could of had two reasons to want to use Stolas’s book.

one, to go to Earth and see the horses there and two, to find a way to switch himself and Blitzo who is now called Fizzarolli, back to normal.

I sib it, because once again not all “Ships” will be romantic, and you ONLY use the “I ship it” if it is gonna be the romantic type.

if it’s a sibling type thing, where it’s platonic and not romantic...

you use “I sib it.” and for family either adoptive or step-family...

you use “I fam it.”.....and for friendships, there is “I bud it.”

I think that Loona will be like a big sister and friend to Octavia, which would be both a I sib it and I bud it type.

it would of still been nice if I had did a drawing for Halloween but I didn’t get to, I did kind of sleep half through it, and only was able to wake up for the few hours left of Halloween, and I got to watch a movie during that time.

it just didn’t feel much like Halloween, I guess some might of felt this way before for some days, not just for Halloween.

hopefully when it does get to Christmas, it will feel like Christmas.

one of the things I can look forward to this month, before the next month where Christmas will be starting on....

is that on November, there will be a Season 3 of the Cuphead Show.

oh and this month I saw some new trailer for the Bendy and the Dark Revival, so it disproves any assumptions about that game being canceled.

just got to wait a few more days for Season 3 of the Cuphead Show. 

also want to add that in theory, that Lucifer and Lilith from Hazbin Hotel, might either be very affectionate with each other and are very much in love which is how some fans write fan fic or fan art about them...

or they could be on the rocks and could be having a on-and-off type of thing going on....so there are two theories, one is that those two are madly and silly in love or two, they are having a little bit of a separation and coming close to a divorce but still see each other because they are on that “on-and-off” type of love....one of those two theories might be true...

I try not to let the fandom ruin a character for me but it's becoming really hard to appreciate C*ss (censoring her name to avoid getting this being in her main tags) as a character when (some) of her fans are annoying as hell, I sometimes really can't stand them and honestly I'm sorry if I come off as rude, that really wasn't my intention. I've been in this fandom for a while now and while I mostly only really care about Talia and Damian, it seems like I can't avoid seeing C*ss stans being really annoying.

I know it's not all of them, certain character stans are always gonna have bad apples but damn they get on my nerves.

Hi Anon! I have to say, I completely understand where you are coming from. It happens in all fandoms from whatever piece of entertainment. Every time we join a new fandom, we are always going to find people that are really mean and gatekeep-y or people who we just cannot see eye to eye with.

It doesn’t make you rude, at least I don’t think so. One can easily get fed up with people’s narratives when they revolve around bringing other characters down.

I joined this fandom quite late and even though I have been a Dick Grayson and Jason Todd stan for a very long time. Dick was the one that I met first and then Jason. When I found the fandom side of comics, we were already a bit into the Rebirth era of DC, and the fandom was wild.

It was like nothing I have ever seen; it was like the Jason and Dick that I knew didn’t exist, and it was really difficult for me to like any Jason Todd centric blog because they usually came with a horrendous amount of Dick Grayson hate.

I even had a really bad experience with a Dick stan, who acted like Dick’s most distinguishable trait was having a bad temper. It was true that person probably had read more comics than me but them using out of context panels to prove Dick’s bad temper kinda put me off.

I understand now, that they probably were trying to fight the “sunshine and happiness” characterization of Dick, but they still were extremely rude to me and it made me feel bad.

It took me some time to find blogs that made me feel welcome to the fandom and that felt were willing to educate the newies without treating us like we were less.

My advice to you? Mute and block every tag that you feel makes you have a bad time in fandom. And don’t feel bad about muting tags, sometimes it is the best thing that could happen to you.

I grow attached to characters and pieces of media a lot so when something bothers me a lot it can make me anxious. A long time ago I was part of the Supernatural fandom, it is basically my second favourite show, and one ship destroyed my experience of it, whenever I looked it was all about that ship, the show seemed to come second to it. It really made me separate myself from all that and I decided to not only enjoy the show on my own but also, I muted tags and everything involving that ship.

This fandom is the same, granted it doesn’t reach Supernatural Fandom levels of toxic but it does have its moments.

In a way or another fandom is the reason that I kinda hate Tim Drake but I am also not interested in him that much, but I have gotten tired of him and some of his stans in the past quite easily.

I know it is frustrating, but what we have to do is make ourselves look the other way, sometimes all we can do is look away. Maybe some day we will come across a story involving a character that we don’t like (due to fandom) and might find ourselves still enjoying it.

I know there is this ever existing “soft beef” between Jason and Dick stans but I know very little of it because I have taught myself to dodge it.

It is not worth having a bad time here on tumblr (or anywhere else) when we are trying to find people who like the same stories/characters that we do!

I hope your experience in tumblr and fandom in general gets better Anon, I can assure you, once you find bloggers that make you happy even though they might post something you don’t quite agree with, it all gets better!

anyway i actually think a Dream redemption arc would kinda fuck if done well and i think given where the story is going rn it would be. dream’s going to get broken out; that’s not really in question at this point. dream deserves a healing arc after months of solitary confinement, starvation, and physical torture; i don’t think it’s the only satisfying option, narratively—i’m a wilbur stan, i’m a fan of breakdowns that just get worse until they explode and hurt everyone—but i do think it’s an option.

but also… if the syndicate helps with the prison break, that means ranb00’s there. and ccs wilbur and tommy have both teased exile being relevant again. which means dream might have to face the consequences of his actions—actually, for real, not “he’s getting tortured for quacklty’s bet”. people on the server might learn the extent of what he did. he might have to reckon with that and actually face justice.

It’s true that a redemption arc starting at the present day would be out of nowhere. Being tortured doesn’t actually make you a better person, and he hasn’t shown any signs of regret that actually understand what he did wrong and why it was wrong. If they expect me to accept that he can just recover from the torture and be a better person, I will be upset by that. That’s not a narratively supported choice, it’s one that pushes pro-torture concepts even as it claims to be against torture, and it would erase the actual abuse Dream did. But given the direction I hope the narrative is going, allowing him to heal from torture while bringing the trauma of the people he hurt to the forefront?

I think, after that, I would be ready for a redemption arc, if that’s where the story takes us. That doesn’t mean I think Tommy or any of the other people he hurt should forgive him or ever be near him ever again. It means I believe everyone can become better. I don’t know if Dream will. Some people don’t. There are ways of executing either option that I would find satisfying and cathartic, and ways I would find unsatisfying and frustrating. The dividing line isn’t whether Dream gets redeemed, or whether he deserves it (whatever “redeemed” or “deserve” even mean in this context). It’s about what the narrative sets up and how it pays off. Right now, I will feel unsatisfied and frustrated if Dream continues to be abused, and I will also feel unsatisfied and frustrated if the trauma of his victims isn’t seriously addressed by the narrative. Past that, they haven’t set things up yet, but I think there are satisfying and cathartic stories to be told whether or not Dream becomes a better person at some point in the future.

I hate ET because I think he's a creepyass little alien and I don't appreciate seeing him first thing in this episode. 😂

Okay but I love when Kyle's saying, "...to make ET more PC," he's doing little air quotes with his one hand, like:

I've never seen Saving Private Ryan, and I know that it's said that it can be really triggering for people who have actually been to war and everything and I don't want to diminish that in any way, but whatever I paused on here looks like some kind of nether realm squid ghost monster and it's amazing.

I love the progression of their expressions here: angry, unimpressed, concerned, and "why is this happening?!"

And they're all so excited for Star Wars, that's the cutest fricking thing! I would love to see Tweek and Craig watching Star Wars together, just try and tell me that wouldn't be adorable!

ALL OF THEM ARE SO MAD! I fucking love when Tweek gets the little angry eyebrows.

I will never ever not want to hug him whenever I see Tweek shiver like crazy while the other kids just stand perfectly still.

The message in this episode is actually so good though. "Movies are art and art shouldn't be messed with!"

"Yeah we could form a club that takes food stamps from poor people and then we could sell them back to the government for a profit!" Tweek’s face here is priceless.

Poor Tweek. There's kind of a pattern in these episodes where multiple times he tries to stand up for himself or walk away from the main kids, but Cartman bullies him into staying and it just breaks my heart. As opposed to Craig in the Pandemics who's just like, "Fuck this." And as much as I adore all of the S6 Tweek episodes, I'm really glad he didn't stay hanging out with them for any longer and that he went back to the group of guys that are actually his friends. <3

"I'm not, I'm not a team player!" 😭 That being said, I could listen to Tweek talk all day.

"You have to offer fabulous prizes if you want people to show up to your stupid crap!" is just the S6 version of, "More people will come if they think we'll have punch and pie!" 😂

At least have Kyle help him or something. Like you say you need to get the gymnasium ready which means what, make a banner and set up some chairs? And you're telling me you couldn't have split up the making of the hats? Jesus Christ.

I posted this on my Tumblr before, so I'm not going to do it again, but that TINY LITTLE SHRIEK THAT TWEEK DOES after his dad says his name. I just. Literally. Die. Of cuteness. Every single time. It's my favorite Tweek shriek of the entire show, hands down.

On another note, his bedroom is so empty in this episode compared to in Tweek x Craig! I wonder what changed between here and then.

Tweek being able to calm himself down with some meditation is honestly so cute. And look at his happy place! I would love to have this on a shirt or a bag or just like as a piece of art hanging on my wall or something.

Cartman's giant face showing up there. 😂 I remember the first time I saw this episode that actually startled me so much.

"I was up, all night, making hats! I only slept for an hour- and then I DREAMT about making hats! But I only made fifteen!" - This has been one of my favorite lines since forever. I make it my status on things a lot and then everyone asks me why I was making hats all night. 😂

I love Stan's expression here.

Second time this episode Tweek tries to say no and walk away.

"People aren't that into you, Tweek. They find you kind of annoying." This is so meta because I remember people complaining all the time that Tweek was a one-note character and that he had nothing really to add to the show and I just want to say SUCK IT TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE BECAUSE LOOK HOW LOVED TWEEK IS NOW. Everyone who was on board the Tweek train from the very beginning say, "Cupcakes!" 😂<3

These kids, man. I love that it’s so easy for them to just get into all these places.

"Get it, Tweek!" "Huh-uh!" I love the way Tweek says no. But, I mean, AGAIN, he tries to say no and Cartman bullies him. I don't think he ever really wanted to be in their group in the first place. I think they picked him arbitrarily in Professor Chaos because they saw him as weaker than them, and then Cartman just didn't let him quit.

The little debate about melting his icy heart with a cool island song is also something I quote often. AND THEIR LITTLE OUTFITS! I love that Tweek's is green and pink! I don't know what the hell is going on with the sleeves on everyone else's though.

"Those rams can do to us what they will, Mr. Lucas." 😂

Oh, George Lucas. You were so close to being a hero.

Stan: "Fuck you Steven Spielberg!" I've watched this censored so many times that hearing it uncensored is so fricking satisfying.

Oh my God, I'm always so proud of Tweek for talking to this huge crowd of people and trying to get them to help him! His little talking through his teeth, like, "We are not talking about Hat right now, okay?!" He's trying so hard!

"Oh God, I'm gonna have to do this myself! Oh, God!" just breaks my heart! YOU CAN DO IT, TWEEK! 13 seasons from now you'll have someone who helps you believe in yourself, just hang on!

Tweek with the bazooka, oh my gosh, always makes me so happy. I can't tell you how much I wanted him to just blow them all the fuck up the first time I saw this.

"All I want are my friends. Except for Cartman, you can keep him." YEAH, TWEEK!

I hate that Steven Asshole Spielberg manages to talk enough crap to make Tweek hesitate. He was so close! I wonder how he would have felt if he actually did it though, Maybe it's better he didn't? It might have made his anxiety worse if he actually blew people up now that I think about it.

"In the tropical isles with the coconut trees, the air is fresh and the people are free, but here in the mountains there's no freedom like that, there's a man in prison and his name is Hat!" This gets stuck in my head so often.

It makes it so much better having actually seen Raiders, especially for this part. I honestly thought the melting faces was just a South Park thing but nope.

Oh my God, okay, and I know that Hat is a terrible person and I want to clarify just in case, I do not think killing babies is funny, but just the way that baby crawls up the person's arm to avoid getting passed to Hat is always so so funny to me and I can never explain why.

Tweek being the only one to be appropriately horrified by the fact that Hat is being given a baby.

"Sometimes the things we do don't matter right now. Sometimes they matter later. We have to care more about later sometimes, you know? I think that's what separates us from the Steven Spielbergs and George Lucases of the world." This is still so relevant.

The ending of this episode is also so much better after actually seeing Raiders. 😂
