After spending two weeks lost in the mail, Wano frobin has finally found their way to me

Frobin is honestly the only ship in one piece I feel have weight to it. (Well... Maybe Smoker and Hina)

It's something about how those two Interact with each other that stands out. It feels nice and genuine without actually trying to force anything.

Well, while I personally really like SmoHina, that is up to everyone how they see it. That is shipping.

But I do agree, that there is something simple about FRobin. There is no drama. There is no unnecessary tension. They are there, comfortable and stable.

I guess that is also why they are one of the most common background ships. They feel natural. While I like to point out at which points Oda ships them, it really never feels too forced, just like you said. It can be read a shipping but also not.

I also think this natural dynamic is part of why they are "the parents". Not because fans want to press the Strawhats into a nuclear family, not because they are "the oldest" (not anymore) but because they as a couple give off the comfort that people wish to see in their parents.

Because of all that I can't really put Smoker and Hina in the same category. They are not on the same level, commanding different ships, being part of a very strict hirachy that might restrict their relationship, making it more complicated and bothersome.

It makes the ship interesting but not as comforting.

But that is for another day.

underrated Frobin moment to me is when Robin approaches the Sunny for the first time after two years in Return to Sabaody and Franky immediately greets her by going, "There's the most gorgeous woman in the world!" and striking his dumb little pose and she just smiles and giggles at him.

I do agree to some extent. It‘s crumbs taken out of context, more often than not.

But in this case, even though everyone gets ready, someone else once made an interesting: They are the only ones with puckered lips. Right beside each other.

Anyway, in the end I don‘t think anyone really takes these kind of hints too seriously. Color Spreads aren‘t really canon and it‘s easy to look up the original. But they sometimes do feel like little wins.

With Frobin I know some things are like “you can’t justify that, it happened and it’s romantic/flirtarious.” But I think we sometimes take things out of context, like some colorspreads.

I took a look at the whole color spread and it seems like all of the strawhat crew is getting ready for the 17th anniversary. Yes they are next to each other but it’s not solely what we believed that it was only them. It could be romantic but I feel like the whole crew went out. Not just them.

I want to believe Frobin is there and there’s actual proof, which I believe there is, but some of the proof I feel like is out of context. I’m still a shipper of Frobin until like I die lmao but I ship characters based off what I see in canon. So I hope that gives me little solace.

Something about Robin staying back when the rest of the girls were trying to ride Franky's Brachio Tank 5 which was being maneuvered by Usopp—presumably waiting for Franky to invite her to ride on Black Rhino which was being used by Franky himself—and Franky do pulling up on her asking "Do you wanna ride on the back?" and her basicly immediately saying "Yes, what the heck." is so precious to me. Like bffr. She has A CRUSH
