Hallmark movie idea

Big city girl really busy with her job, usually comes home to small town for Christmas to spend with her family/revisit old friends, can’t this year due big project as she was just promoted.

Maybe some early turmoil about how she’s stressed and she just wants to spend time with family, maybe this job isn’t worth it. Mother telling her no, she works so hard for this job/position and she loves what she does. And to not worry about it, they’ll figure it out.

Cue family traveling to her to spend the holidays in big city since it doesn’t matter where you are just as long as we’re together.

Maybe side story, old friend who’s been with the family so long and for every holiday they’re practically apart of the family (maybe parents passed when they were early 20s). And of course the family says you’re coming with us, it’s Christmas. And this person has been trying to get out of small town forever, but they’re whole ‘family’ is here and they have no where to go. Cue a bunch of cute scenes with lead lady where they fall for each other in the big city and friend decides they want to move there to try something new in life and to be with lead.

Cut to -1 year later- you see them moving in together and getting ready to decorate for Christmas in anticipation of family visiting.

Anyhow here's how I think the battle at Mount Rageous should've gone, with the lovely happy trolls using the hair as weapons of destruction </3 I know that Branch is in his healing era but I still think he would've resorted to his more violent methods somehow (this time with Poppy's full support).

Also, the reason why Viva's still using the sticky hands is because of this one hc I saw that the Putt-Putt trolls lost the ability to stretch their hair due to malnutrition :D

The First Fenton-Drake Thanksgiving (ft. Ghosts, Bats, and Pure Chaos)

So, Tim Drake and Danny Fenton got married. No one really knows how it happened—just one day, Tim came home from a mission with a ring on his finger, introduced Danny as his husband and left the batfamily spiraling.

Now, it's their first Thanksgiving together. And of course, things couldn't just be normal.

Tim’s Idea of Thanksgiving: Invite everyone. And he meant everyone.

Cue the chaos:

The Guest List:

The entire Batfamily (enthusiastically invited by Tim)

The Fentons (Jack, Maddie, and Jazz—armed with ghost-hunting gadgets)

A few ghosts from the Infinite Realms (because Tim insisted they needed to “experience traditions”)

Possibly some rogue League of Assassins members (Tim says it’s complicated)

The Day Begins:

Danny wakes up to the smell of... way too many things cooking. Not a good sign.

He stumbles into the kitchen, eyes widening. “Tim, why are there three turkeys?”

Tim, flipping pancakes: “Options. We’ve got regular, ectoplasm-infused, and vegetarian.”

Danny: rubbing his temples “Tim, it was supposed to be just us.”

Tim: innocent smile “I thought you’d enjoy the company.”

The Fentons Arrive:

Jack: “Smells great in here, Tim!” Maddie: examining the ectoplasm turkey “You said this enhances flavor? What’s the biochemical process behind it?” Tim: “It’s... complicated.” Maddie: pulls out a notepad “I need to run some tests later.” Jack: “Are we talking ghost science?!” Danny: facepalms “Here we go.” Jazz: “Danny, are you okay?” Danny: staring at the chaos “I... guess.”

The Bats Show Up:

Dick: “This is amazing, Tim! You went all out.” Danny: whispers “Please take some of them home.” Jason: “I brought pie. And also whiskey.” Tim: “Perfect.”

Damian: eyeing the ectoplasm turkey “This looks... unnatural.” Tim: “You’ll love it.” Danny: groans “I need a nap.”

Ghostly Guests:

Ember is playing loud rock music in the living room.

Skulker has taken it upon himself to hunt the fourth turkey.

Technus has hacked the TV to show every football game at once.

Bruce is trying to make small talk with a glowing ghost. It’s not going well.

Meanwhile, the Fentons:

Maddie is way too interested in the contraptions and safety measurements Tim and Danny have added to their home, asking Tim about each one. Jack keeps trying to bond with Jason. (“So, you came back from the dead? Let’s compare notes!”) Jazz is refereeing between Damian and Dani, who are debating weapon efficiency.

Talia Shows Up:

Because of course she does.

Talia: “Timothy. I see you’ve outdone yourself.” Danny: whispers “Why is she here?” Tim: sighs “It’s complicated.”

Talia: smirking “I brought dessert.” Danny: “... Is it poisoned?” Talia: “Only if you want it to be.”

The Dinner Table:

The ectoplasm turkey definitely glows.

Jack Fenton accidentally sets a dinner roll on fire.

Damian challenges Dani to a duel... over dessert.

Bruce is visibly regretting every life choice.

Dick: “This is... surprisingly fun.” Jason: “I love this level of chaos.” Danny: mutters to Tim “I’m never letting you plan Thanksgiving again.”

Tim: smirking “You love it.” Danny: grumbling “... Maybe.”

After Dinner:

The ghosts attempt to help clean up. (They make it worse.)

The Fentons try to “analyze” the batfam. Bruce retreats.

Skulker and Jason are still debating hunting methods.

Later, on the Rooftop:

Finally alone, Danny and Tim look out over the city.

Danny: “You really went all out.” Tim: “You deserve a big celebration.” Danny: smiles “It was... chaotic. But fun.”

Tim: quietly “Welcome to the family, Danny. All of it.” Danny: smiles wider “Thanks, Tim. Even if they’re... a lot.”

Tim: grinning “Next year, bigger?” Danny: laughs “You know you’re lucky I love you.”

Tim: grinning “Yeah. I know.”

had an idea at work:

due to his dad being a piece of shit, charles never got to celebrate diwali. his mom had told him a few stories when his dad was away but there wasn’t even a whisper of it when he was home.

after he dies, as the boys enter the colder months, they visit a library at night since edwin still has so much to learn and not many books yet. charles is picking through the stacks when he sees one about the very holiday he was forbidden as a child. he didn’t dislike christmas or anything, but he’d always wanted to know and explore that part of him. so he secretly checks out the book and reads it whenever edwin is busy.

as the holiday gets closer, he starts plucking up his courage to ask his friend if they could celebrate it. he’s nervous and edwin knows it. the edwardian is nervous his friend is going to leave and they wouldn’t celebrate their first holidays together. so when his mate actually asks to celebrate an additional holiday, he’s ecstatic.

it’s the first time charles sees edwin so excited about something not related to magic or detective work. and edwin is so excited. he reads every book he can find, nabs everything he could possibly think they need. and when everything is set up, charles has never felt so seen, so accepted, so loved.

(i don’t celebrate diwali and truly know very little about the holiday, but people in my neighborhood celebrate and some already have their lights up. thus inspiring this post bcuz we also learned edwin loves christmas)

it's Eiffel's birthday, and in my happy AU where everyone lives and Eiffel doesn't lose his memories and Eiffel and Hilbert become roommates once they get back to Earth, all the crew (plus the SI-5) are gathering at Minkowski's and Dominik's(her husband) house for Christmas and Eiffel's birthday:

Minkowski made Eiffel a birthday cake, Hilbert found out Eiffel's favourite flavour and told her (it's birthday cake flavour)

Eiffel convinces Hilbert wear matching ugly Christmas sweaters with him

Minkowski makes everyone put on Santa hats and/or birthday hats as soon as they arrive

Kepler initiates multiple vaguely christmas themed trivia games and loses them all to Hera

Hilbert and Jacobi actually have a mild bonding moment over both not understanding the appeal of holiday parties

They all sing Eiffel "happy birthday" when they bring out the cake and he's so not expecting it that it makes him tear up

They end up doing Christmas song karaoke and it's mostly just Minkowski singing, but she ends up convincing both Dominik and Lovelace to do duets with her at different points

Eiffel gets emotional about having people that care to spend Christmas/his birthday with and just hides his face in Hilbert's shoulder for a while, aside from giving him a quick pat on the back Hilbert pretends he doesn't notice

Minkowski kisses Lovelace under the mistletoe (this is fine because Minkowski has 2 hands)

For his birthday Hilbert got Eiffel foods he loves, for Christmas Hilbert got Eiffel a new copy of a book Eiffel that reminisced about liking when he was younger (he's the only one that got Eiffel presents for both holidays, he's low-key doing the best financially since he has a lot of hush-money tucked away in Swiss bank accounts)

Idk what everyone else got Eiffel sorryyy, I'm too Heiffel obsessed and tired to think of stuff, suggestions welcome

Also idk if it snows where they all live but if so, they definitely all go out for a snowball fight and: Lovelace wins but Minkowski is a close second, Hilbert refuses to play despite getting hit with multiple snowballs but he does enjoy the familiarity of that kind of cold weather, Eiffel manages to make a truce with Dominik to work together to build a fortress but they quickly both get taken out by Lovelace and Minkowski, Jacobi goes after Kepler immediately and through some series of romcom-esque events they end up falling on top of each other and making out in the snow until Maxwell shouts at them to stop, Hera and Maxwell just watch the chaos unfold together
