Okay okay SO I watched Wicked and I loved it and then I saw THIS by @funktrolls and OHMIGOSH TROLLS WICKED AU

First of all, GO CHECK THEM OUT, their amazing art inspired this entire au (also @funktrolls if you want me to take this down do let me know and I’ll do that right away!)

Second of all, ahskahsjsjsj I really thought this out

Branch’s “broom” is a paintbrush because of course, and Floyd is Nessa because I love them both and they’re both tragically beautiful

I think Branch’s “magic” would be genre variation. We know from TBGO and TT and other trolls shorts that Branch can do rock music and he was more open to country music in TWT (why does that look like an emoticon)

Maybe influencing people’s emotions with music? That’s why he doesn’t sing because singing killed his GRANDMA <totally doesn’t happen in this au

Oh, also Poppy’s name would be Peppy at first, after her popsicle
