Worldbuilding Food: More than meets the eye
So, you want to world build food but maybe you don't know where to start, have hit a roadblock, or are just looking for some interesting places to addon to. I've got your back.
Vegetables, Fruits, Grain, Nuts, & Fungi
One of the first things I think of when it comes to food is fruits and vegetables, and the line between them is surprisingly small.
Like tomatoes are vegetables? Pumpkins are fruits but other gourds are not? When does a herb become a vegetable? Although important to classify, don't let it be your main focus.
Start with
How the produce grows
What it looks like throughout different stages of its life
What parts are edible
How most people consume the produce
How the product is harvested
Is it seasonal
What about the produce that makes its growable environment habitable
How it spreads/reproduces
There's many different unique ways fruits and vegetables grow in just our real world, but that doesn't mean you can stop there.
Cranberries grow on vines that actually float on the surface of soggy ground and water in wetlands. Cashews actually grow on the bottom of cashew apple, which is it's own edible product. There's lots of different ways plants can grow, and what they even need to do so.
Some produce even have their own defense mechanisms (which often which becomes a form of flavor to us). Don't think these defense mechanisms stop at protection from predators. Strawberries are an aggressive plant, fighting, killing, and taking over any nearby plant neighbors. Some plants have thistles and thorns, and others are the hard shell or peel we end up effortlessly cutting through.
Try to think of some environmental things in the world your working with that the produce would have adapted to.
I think my favor example of this IRL is sunflowers. They change directions to face the sun, and when they can't find the sun they face each other. Eventually their seeds weigh them down, and which they'll always face east.
Don't forget fungi is edible too, and has it's very own unique properties.
(Don't forget yeast -> bread, you can make up whatever food you want)
Meats & Agricultural Animals
I myself am not a meat-eater, but I understand the importance of animal products to a society. If you world doesn't have it, don't fret. This sector won't just be about meat products, but it will contain a lot of it.
Food and what animals are considered for consumption changes from culture to culture. The same can be said for treatment leading up to their role in society as the food on people's plates. Often times a culture cannot imagining eating an animal they see as part of the family, such as dogs or cats IRL, but other times it's seen part of a religious practice such as cows.
There's a lot of cultural stuff that goes into our agricultural animals, both for work, dairy, textiles, and food.
Here's some ideas to start with
What parts of them are edible and used for food
Do they produce any dairy or egg products
How old do they have to be before becoming a produce animal
Are the animals used for other resources too i.e. bones, fur, skins, skulls, blood, etc.
How much food does one animal make
Typically how are they are killed, if they are
What conditions are these animals kept in and are they viewed humane
What environments allow these animals to thrive alongside the people of your world
What does the animal eat
Now... Let's into some culture and religion
Religion and culture has a major impact on what we eat. Take for instance Kosher, Halal, and more. Historical shortages in food even to this day affect what foods we eat. Culture also affects our tastes. The corn line of the United States is drowning in corn, and yet corn is seen as a sweet treat over seas in many nations.
Harvesting
How the harvesting goes changes a lot about a society, big and small. Think about how terrible a year would go in medieval times if harvest came up incredibly poor, or how wealthy our modern day world would look to those people due to mass production.
Here's some things to think about
What time of year are the biggest and most important harvest(s)
How common are agricultural workers
What would the average person see if they watched people work
What technology/tools are used
What happens if the harvest goes wrong
Do farmers/harvesters get special rights for their role in society
In older societies harvesting and how that went completely shaped how the next year would look. In some cultures the harvesters have been revered, while in other if crossed to far would be expected to tear the country to pieces. Think about the role harvesting plays in your society. What would happen if they striked? Or if a disaster swept the land?
The environment itself will change a lot about what harvesting look likes. Why does this environment work? What are the environmental risk to both the crop and workers?
Are we farming in the water, in the middle of the arctic, underground, high up in the trees?
Exotic Food & Immigration
While establish what the everyday food in the area is, don't forget to pay mine to the opposites. Immigration and trade play a major role in what foods end up on our plate. As cultures combine and mingle so do their food.
Take one look at the United States, infamous for it's large potions, fatty foods, and immigrant culture cuisine. A lot of foods in the United States are the results of cultures meeting to improve and add onto one another's foods, that includes American styles of pizza, tacos, and more.
Even major cities around the world have styles of foods unique to them.
Let's think
What locally seen foods count as exotic
What foods are nearly impossible to get
Is there access to foreign brands/produce
How expensive is most exotic foods
What styles of cooking are being brought in by foreigners
How do people get exotic foods
What foods would the locals not be able to eat due to not being used to it
Try to think about what makes this food exotic in the local area. Maybe it cannot grow in the local environment. Maybe the quality of the food is simply better overseas. Maybe the animal or plant is far too aggressively invasive for locals.
Trade & Transport
Food is both a very important export and import, especially in time of devastation.
Don't forget about exports too, what is your society giving out to the world, and getting back. Not all trade has to be capital based. Perhaps your world simply trades on good or service for another.
Here's some things to think about
What's being exported and imported
Are whole animals imported/exported
How is the trade being done i.e. trains, boats, aircraft, teleportation, etc.
Are there any obstacles to trade
What places are all involved in trading
How is the trade brought to where it needs to be inland
In what ways do these trades improve the lives of locals
Transportation is also super important to where food ends up, and more so in what volumes. How do people get all these produce or animals relocated? What kinds of storage are we seeing to keep things fresh (if health standards are even up to code in your worldbuilding)?
What poses a threat to things in storage? i.e. mold, foxes, animal thieves, disease, etc.
Restrictions
With supply and demand, comes outages, taxes, and restrictions. Unfortunately not everything in the food world goes right. There's natural disasters to come and destroy crops, hostile settlements to block trade, and especially that person who is really bad at cooking but they love doing it so you don't have the heart to say no....
Anyway let's talk restrictions and where they can come from
Wartime
Wartime can cause a lot of original farmers and workers to become soldiers. It also can lead to the large scale destruction of precious farm land, crops, animals, and overall places to cook.
Laws
Perhaps there's a particularly poisonous food, and way too many suspiciously poisoned people. That's when law comes in. There's many reasons for food and drink to become outlawed. Religious reasons, danger, regulations, inebriation, etc.
Siege/Embargo/Thievery
Knock knock! It's the United States here to embargo your random country. Outside factions can always become an obstacle, leading to loss of traveling cargo or straight up missing farmers too. Nothing comes in, and sometimes nothing comes out.
Endangered
Perhaps a common plant or favored animal is running low on populous. Now locals are more so focused on reanimating a dwindling population, more so on eating it.
Sickness
Whether it be hoards of invasive bugs, prion disease caused by cannibalistic animal feed, or sudden inexplicable field of dead corn sickness happens. Maybe something has swept over the land, and no one ever bothered to try to plant said crop again.
Natural Disasters
Natural disasters can not only cause the elimination of entire villages, but accidentally bring in lots of invasive creatures too. Catfish is off the menu for as long as carp is intown.
Straight Up Difficulty
Sometimes a fruit appears once a year, or a tasty creature is a dangerous one to take on in order to eat. It can be difficult getting the right ingredient sometimes. Other times it's new to the market. So much can happen when food is involved.
Preparation & Flavor
Finally all the food in the world is available, but what are we going to do with it.
Make it even better!
I personally find preparation to be the best part of worldbuilding. Now I get to imagine my fictional little people stewing their pots, and kindling their fires. Reflect off of real world recipes, and maybe even write down exact fantasy recipes of your own.
Don't forget about herbs and spices (I see you British people).
You have five basic taste receptors in your mouth: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and savory. They make great descriptors and fun places to explore when looking into what your foods taste like. Smell can play an important role too.
Does it smell awful and taste great, smell sweet and taste bitter, perhaps it doesn't have anything at all going on.
Happy worldbuilding!

liv i love broccoli too if its ok can you tell me how you make the soup I've never heard of it ...
sure thing little guy!! i literally just finished making it so i will tell u how i did it <3 pls keep in mind i a) made this up and b) am vegan—so there are lots of things that you might change if you make this yourself!!
liv's made up broccoli soup recipe <3
ingredients:
2 heads of broccoli
1 yellow onion
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/4 cup of raw cashews soaked overnight (or for 20 mins in boiling water) OR 1/4 cup of cream if you aren't vegan/dairy free
2 tbsp of a soft/creamy cheese (i used a vegan herb and garlic cream cheese! you could use plain cream cheese or anything similar)
2 tbsp boullion paste + 1L of water (or just 1L of your stock of choice)
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp lemon juice
olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
preheat your oven to 200c/400f and line a baking sheet with parchment
wash your broccoli, then separate the florets from the stems. set the florets aside for a second
make sure you trim the base of the stems (it can be woody like asparagus!) and then peel the outer layer of the stem off since it's usually a bit tough. once the stem is peeled, dice it into small pieces (around 1cm cubes) and set aside
peel/dice your onion (this doesn't have to be pretty because you're gonna blend it later) and put it into a large saucepan w a bit of olive oil and start cooking it over medium heat.
while your onion is cooking, spread the broccoli florets out on the lined baking sheet. toss w olive oil, salt, pepper, smoked paprika and red pepper flakes and then put it in the oven to roast for 15 mins.
once the onion is translucent, add the diced broccoli stem and the garlic and saute that for about 5 minutes, then add your boullion paste/water (or stock!) and let simmer that on med-low heat, covered, for about 10 minutes until everything is SUPER soft.
after 10 minutes, blend the soup with the cashews (or cream) and the cream cheese in a high power blender until it's totally smooth. return this to the pot on low heat.
add the roasted broccoli once it's lightly browned and softened (but still has a bit of bite! like al dente pasta!) and stir to combine.
i added a bit more black pepper and a tiny bit of lemon juice to balance everything else, but that's rly to your own taste. otherwise that's it!!

[ID: An image of goldfish crackers in a tupperware container on my kitchen counter. They are shot very close-up and covered in delicious seasoning.]
I finished the last of my Old Bay goldfish last week, so I tried the bootleg recipe and it's pretty good! Plus the flavoring is a little looser so when I put a bunch of goldfish and cashews in a bag and shake them up together the nuts get some Old Bay too.
The recipe is on a site RIDDLED with ads so:
Old Bay Goldfish
1 bag (6.6oz) Original Goldfish (not the cheddar -- look for the blue bag. Or don't, I'm not the boss of you.)
5 Tbsp (70g) unsalted butter
1.5 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning
The recipe also called for 1/8 Tsp "Accent" (MSG) but I didn't happen to have any and it was fine without it.
Heat oven to 250F. Pour crackers into a large bowl; melt butter in a normal bowl and stir Old Bay seasoning into the butter. Pour flavoring mixture over goldfish and stir to coat; be ginger but thorough (stir gently but a lot).
Spread crackers on a baking sheet -- I actually used a cake pan to minimize spillage -- and bake, stirring every 10 minutes, for 20-40 minutes, until crackers are "dry". Mine took 25 minutes.
Let cool and store in airtight container.

TNGDH 35
“Spread your feet shoulder-width apart, aim at the target, and pull the string. Align your arms horizontally. Yeah, just like that.”
I pulled the bowstring as Kyle instructed. I focused on trying to stabilize my trembling arms.
Of course, the result was a failure.
[~(>―<~)]
“Are you concentrating enough?”
I grumbled in response to Kyle’s strict question.
“The problem isn’t about my concentration. My arms won’t stay still no matter how much strength I put in.”
Maybe this is a defective. As I complained, Kyle chuckled.
“As if.”
He came a little closer to me and lightly held my wrist holding the bow. He put his other hand on my shoulder and began to put pressure onto it.
“Keep your back and shoulders straight.”
The hand that was once on my shoulders went down to my elbow. As my upper body trembled again, he frowned and came closer, supporting my back with his own upper body. Wait, this posture……
“……Umm.”
I slightly raised my head. Perhaps I spoke too quietly, because Kyle bent his waist to bring his face closer to mine. Our faces were so close that words wouldn’t come out of my mouth. It felt like I was being hugged from behind.
“Can you teach me with a little more distance between us?”
I felt embarrassed, so I cleared my throat. However, Kyle cut down my suggestion with a sharp answer.
“You weren’t able to even pull the bowstring properly just earlier.”
“Yes, well…… that’s true.”
“Stop talking and look straight ahead. Breathe slowly. Feel the tension going to your fingertips. It is better to hold your breath just before releasing the string.”
The trembling of my arms stopped as if it never happened. As he put in more strength, the more stable my body became.
With the tense tension of the bowstring, the arrowhead aimed exactly at the target. The arrow flew beautifully into the center of the target for the first time.
“Ah.”
I knew this was only possible due to Kyle’s help, but I couldn’t help but feel happy. When I looked up at him with a smile, Kyle also looked back with the corners of his mouth raised.
“You did well.”
In the quiet surrounding area, his joy was conveyed…… wait a minute. Quiet surrounding? I only now realized that people moved away to give space for the two of us.
It was definitely comfortable to use all this space to ourselves, but this felt as if…… they carefully prepared a space for us to go on a date.
[Currently Possessing Hearts | ❤×60]
Cashew wasn’t here, nor was Kyle thinking about Cashew. Yet the number of Hearts went up little by little.
“…….”
Our gazes collided with each other again. He stared at me as if he was longing for something. It was a calm and passionate gaze. I knew what he wanted to ask me, but I stayed silent.
Not yet. I turned my head and lowered my bow. After clearing my throat, I spoke.
“Since there’s some time left, do you want to go on a walk?”
Kyle laughed as if he knew what I was thinking.
“It seems your arms are sore. You’ve only had one successful shot.”
“You should look at the process, not the result.”
“You’re right. Then, shall we go horseback riding? You need to learn to ride a horse too.”
I checked the system window before responding.
“Let’s go with an hour long course.”
“You are busier than the Grand Duke himself.”
“Sadly, that seems to be the case.”
I chuckled. He also seemed to be enjoying himself.
Despite his pretext of teaching me how to ride the horse, he picked me up, sat me down on the saddle, and rode along with me. My body definitely wasn’t small, yet he lifted me up so lightly.
It was a little cold but bearable thanks to Kyle. He foresaw it and wrapped a cape around my shoulders before we took off.
“It may be the end of winter, but the wind is still chilly. The cold weather in Blake tends to last until spring, so it’ll take time to get used to it.”
“How did you know it hasn’t been long since I’ve come to the estate?”
“Simple.”
He wrapped my slightly tilted shoulders and straightened them.
“If you’ve been here for so long, there’s no way I wouldn’t have recognized you.”
“There’s nothing you don’t know about Blake.”
“Because that is my duty.”
Who takes on such duties so willingly? Well, that’s what makes him Kyle Blake.
“Besides that, did you look into the attack on Belial?”
“……Yes. I couldn’t tell.”
It was a puzzling answer. So what’s that supposed to mean? Are you saying you do know or don’t know who’s behind it? Thankfully, Kyle explained right away.
“All three corpses were unidentified soldiers. They were found at a short distance away from the attack.”
“But you found out that they were ‘soldiers’.”
“That’s right.”
It meant that the mastermind used other people to carry out their plan. Well, that was an obvious fact. The target was Belial or Kyle. Who would be crazy enough to make a move themselves? In the case of failure, they wouldn’t get a simple death.
“We’re first investigating a mercenary group near the capital. If there are anyone who moved under the orders of a high-ranking noble or had any parties with three or more deaths, they will be under suspicion.”
“It seems you’ll be busy for a while.”
“Yes. It’s a task that requires quite a bit of manpower. And Cashew has been on my mind for a while too…….”
Hm? Cashew? Me? ……Why? He continued in a deep voice.
“I tried injecting mana into it, but it bounced back. Do you perhaps know anything about it?”
Of course I knew. The problem was that I couldn’t say it. Normally, he should’ve gotten suspicious of his hamster, but Kyle’s face was full of genuine concern. What should I say to resolve this?
“I’m not too sure, perhaps it has a special constitution…….”
I hesitated and then added quickly.
“That being said, please don’t try to inject mana into it again. What if it ends up having a negative effect on the hamster?”
Kyle’s expression became grave upon hearing the words ‘negative effect’.
“Are you saying there could be some sort of…… collision… inside?”
He was quite sharp. Of course, he didn’t know about the existence of the system.
“Yes. So leave it alone for now. Time will resolve it all eventually.”
Don’t bother the hamster. Even if nothing happens, I still think it wouldn’t be a good idea to keep trying to inject mana.
If the system is affected, who knows if another incident like the swamp goat might happen. Let’s be careful. Although this wasn’t the world I was born and raised, it was still a precious place for others.
We continued to talk about this and that until my ‘Summon’ time was over. Kyle gave me a curious look as I urged him to return quickly, but I couldn’t tell him that I was going back to the hamster house.
Truthfully, this was also a concern of mine. No secrets can remain a secret forever. Yet how would I tell him that I’m his pet hamster? Haa…… I should’ve finished my words back then. This damned life.
‘I suppose I could stay silent for a while.’
After Kyle’s life is extended a bit more. Besides, I want to enjoy this calm and ordinary life while I can.
*
“It’s an attack, Your Highness! Please evacuate now!”
“The northern tower has fallen!”
“……F-fire! Flames have been spotted in the west!”
The incident happened suddenly. When the North was struck without any warning, the castle became devastated in an instant.
It was late at night when I first heard the commotion and didn’t realize the urgency of the situation due to being in the Grand Duke’s office in the hamster house, the safest place in the castle.
I didn’t know why Kyle, who was in the middle of playing with me, turned pale all of the sudden. It took a whole hour before I realized the situation.
“There is a hideout in the basement. Stay there until I give you the order that you can leave.”
I used ‘Summon’, hoping I’d be of some use for him, but that was all he said when I met up with him. I sullenly watched him climb up the stairs and asked him.
“Are you hiding me in the basement in the fear that I might die again?”
“…….”
Kyle furrowed his brows. He seemed irritated and smiled bitterly.
“Yes.”
“Then why did you teach me how to use the bow? Was it not to erase such thoughts?”
“It was to increase your chances of survival.”
He said firmly.
“That doesn’t mean you should jump into any dangerous situation and fight.”
“……I do not want to send you to fight alone.”
“I am thankful for your concern, but there is nothing you can do in this situation.”
“Still…….”
“Still?”
Kyle’s voice rang coldly.
“Admit that you are weak. There is nothing more important than saving your own life.”
I was speechless. He was right. There was nothing more ridiculous than me, who couldn’t even shoot a single arrow properly, worrying about Kyle Blake, the ruler of the North.
But our destiny was intertwined. Wasn’t it only right that we fight together even if it becomes dangerous?
“I will not tolerate disobedience against my orders.”
I forced my head down upon hearing that. I didn’t want to admit it, but I did. That I couldn’t be of any help for him.

People requested I make another post, this time detailing what affects Cove's Step 3 appearance, so that's what I'm doing today!
My previous post contains more details about the specific mechanics behind it, but the short and sweet of it is that things that your MC notices/picks up/favors/focuses on will influence Cove's appearance, but there are a couple that aren't like that and will change him anyway. If you want to get a different Cove than you had before without using the Cove Creator, try choosing different taste/aesthetic-based options, though keep in mind that there isn't a guarantee that it'll completely change him.
As for going through without using the Cove Creator, the only moments in Step 2 that don't have anything that will affect Step 3 Cove's look are Wave and Summerwork, so feel free to pick whatever you want in both of those. Everything else has at least something.
All that said, here's the list of every chance you have to change Step 3 Cove's appearance:
Step 2 Intro
If MC allows Derek and Cove to dig into the fruit bouquet {note that this will give Cove +1 warm points}:
You took a pineapple skewer. [no bracelet(s) on left wrist]
You took a grape skewer. [black wristband on left wrist]
You took a strawberry skewer. [no bracelet(s) on left wrist]
You took a melon skewer. [chain bracelet and beaded wrap bracelet with jewel on left wrist]
When Kyra asks the MC for recommendations for places to eat:
You shrugged. [spiky hair] {note that this will give Cove +1 cold points}
"Not really." [middle-parted hair] {note that this will give Cove +1 warm points}
"Sure, I have a couple of favorites." [no change}
You nodded. [no change}
If the MC agrees to give Kyra restaurant suggestions:
"The Chinese restaurant." [spiky hair]
"The tropical themed place." [ponytail hair]
You insisted Cove contribute to the decision. [middle-parted hair]
You insisted Kyra decide. [ponytail hair]
When Kyra asks the MC what kind of drink they'd like
"Just water." -> "Lemon." [white, yellow, and green striped shirt]
"Just water." -> "No." [black shirt]
"Soda." -> "Cola." [black shirt]
"Soda." -> "Orange." [white, yellow, and green striped shirt]
"Soda." -> "Grape." [white shirt with blue and white gradient button-up]
"Soda." -> "Lemon lime." [white, yellow, and green striped shirt]
"Soda." -> "Root beer." [black shirt]
"Soda." -> "Ginger ale." [white shirt with blue and white gradient button-up]
"Milk." (if MC is not vegan) -> "Just plain." [black shirt]
"Milk." (if MC is not vegan) -> "Chocolate." [white shirt with blue and white gradient button-up]

Step 2 Ending
If you didn't play Family nor chosen any options that change Cove's pants: [distressed blue jeans]
In addition to all of these, if you've noticed that a third bracelet on Cove's left wrist is missing, it's because you can only give it to him in the Step 3 intro. It's a black bracelet with a weave-like pattern that the MC can give to him if they chose to buy Cove a gift rather than give him something that couldn't be bought.
The only requirement necessary is that Cove has to have worn a bracelet of any kind during Step 2, meaning the shark tooth wrap bracelet on his right wrist, the pink beaded bracelet on his left wrist, or the brown and tan right wristband. The option won't appear among the potential bought gifts otherwise.
If your Step 3 Cove is already wearing a bracelet on his left wrist, he'll remove it to replace it with the one you bought for him, so don't do this if you like the one he's already wearing more.
And that's all! Whether you wanted to figure out how to make your ideal Cove look without the Cove Creator or were simply curious as to which Step 2 options affect his appearance, now you know!

Quiet in the Library
One shot Cashew NS/FW
Cash and the reader fool around in the library ;3
uhhh content warning for public stuff and dirty talk! GN!Reader!
The library was always such a weird place.
Sometimes it can be a quiet haven full of pages upon pages of adventure, mystery, romance, and all manner of daring do all for you to explore at your leisure.
But other times it was a stiflingly quiet prison where you were to make little to no sound and try your best to focus without falling asleep.
Right now it was the later...
You and your boyfriend had made your way to the campus library late that night to partake in a study date-- getting through the more boring subjects would be easier together, yeah? And the need to keep quiet would mean that you two wouldn't end up just talking about book series for hours upon hours without getting a single thing done, right?
Wrong.
Both of you had different classes to study for, and the need for silence meant that there was nothing to keep the boredom and deary tedium from turning into tiredness.
So now you're sitting here next to your adorable little nerd of a boyfriend who can not help you with your work and whom you can't even talk to as a distraction.
Ya know for bibliophiles, you both really didn't think this through. I guess being well read didn't translate to good planning...
So now you sit here, eye lids feeling heavy as your focus begins to drift yet again. Your vision goes dim for a moment as your eyes begin to close, before you start awake in your seat, shaking your head as you straighten yourself upright.
You look over at Cashew, whose attention as been wrapped in his textbook for the last hour or so. You don't know how he does it... how can he keep such focus? He didn't even look up when you jumped a little just now.
'Must be nice...' you think to yourself as you lower your textbook and rest your head on the edge of the table, pouting down at the boring gray carpeted floor. You look at your own feet, then to Cashew's-- and that's when you notice something out of the corner of your eye.
Wait.
You sit back up, taking a good look at Cashew's face, his attention fully wrapped in his text book, a light blush sprinkled across his face, and a smile teases the corner of his lips as he bites at them.
You lean toward him to read over his shoulder, and you're almost gobsmacked when you see a second book nestled into the crook of his textbook.
"Dude, seriously?!" You whisper into his ear. That got his attention. His face snaps toward you looking all flavors of embarrassed. "We're supposed to be studying!"
"I-I am." He whispers back. "Or, I was... but then I started to get really zoned out-- so I thought, hey, a one chapter wouldn't hurt! But then that chapter ended on a cliffhanger and well..." He looked away shyly as he closed his book(s) part way, "I-it's just a little break... a-a little break never hurt anyone."
You leaned in closer and got even more quiet as you said,
"You're hard in the library."
Cashew blushed even harder and continued to refuse eye contact as his glasses started to fog,
"It got... spicy..."
You glared at him for a moment-- or well, at least the back of his head. He was practically hiding his face in his shoulder at this point as his blush spread visibly to his ears and his body shifted in shyly.
"D-don't look at me..." he muttered in an embarrassed little whine.
You paused for a moment, feeling your face grow warm too.
'He's lucky he's so damn cute...' you thought as your scooted your chair closer to him.
A small squeak escaped throat as he jumped slightly at the sudden feeling of your hand on his thigh. Leaning in casually, attempting to give away nothing, you pressed your lips to his ear.
"Want me to help you with it?" you whispered smoothly.
His eyes went wide as his gaze snapped back toward you. He could feel his body shaking as he took you in-- your body pressing close to his, your hand rubbing lightly on his thigh, the warmth of the contact, your sly smile, that sultry look in your eyes... He felt himself twitch weakly has he gasped out a,
"Yes please."
Your smirk tweaked as your hand began to rub up and down his thigh, sliding higher. You ran a finger teasingly up the front of his pants, and he let out another squeak as he gripped the books in his hands tightly.
"Shhhh," you soothed into his ear as you began to undo his belt. "Just keep reading..."
He felt as shiver run up his spine as your voice echoed through him. With shaky hands he reopened his book. He couldn't help but gulp as he felt you unbutton and unzip his pants. His eyes were looking at the page but he wasn't able to read a word. How could he? When he was already living a way better spicy scene.
He closed his eyes for a moment and gasped as he felt your finger run up the length of his partially clothed cock.
"So hard..." you purred against his ear. If his legs were shaking before they were practically trembling now.
He loved when you did this. When you played into fantasies he didn't even know he had. Little quirks and kinks and fetishes you always managed to find in the best way possible.
Touch me more.
Precum stained his boxers as you lightly ran your finger up and down the shape of his erect cock. "That's it... stay quiet Love..."
He also loved THIS. The teasing! This moment of building arousal where you bring him to the brink while barely even trying. He almost wished he wasn't such an easy mark for you-- that he had a higher tolerance for your voice, your touch, your eyes...
He glanced over at you. Cheeks flush, mouth smirking, eyes on fire. You know exactly what you do to him, and you loved doing it almost as much as he loves having it done.
You could knock a man dead with that look.
Or make a man cum.
There was another little spark in your eye and he looked back toward his book in a sudden pang of shyness. You let out a little chuckle into his ear and yep-- that's another shiver down his spine.
"I've barely touched you..." god every time you spoke he melted a little bit, "Why do you look like your ready to blow?"
'more teasing...' Cashew thought dreamily as his cock twitched and he leaned slightly into your touch.
Please please please please please...
"Hmm... you like it that much?" You grazed your hand down his length, starting to rub slowly as you palmed him over his underwear, "You like when I touch you?"
Oh GOD yes!
How are you barely making any sound and yet still completely tearing him apart??? It would be maddening if it wasn't so AMAZING.
"Y-yes..." Cashew responded with a shaky whisper. You let out a little pleased hum against his ear as you moved your hand faster.
"You don't even care where we are, do you?" Cashew bit his lip as he tried his best to keep his gaze on the book in his hands. "Just so long as I touch you." You leaned in a little more, moving your hand even faster as you whisper into his ear, "I bet you'd let me pin you to the table and fuck you right here. You'd let all these people watch as I made you my little play thing."
Yes yes yes yes yes YES!
Cash let out a stifled whimper that boarded on being loud.
"Hush, Love. You don't want to get caught do you?" You let out another teasing chuckle as you steadily stroked him stupid through his boxers. "Be too loud and I stop." Why are your threats so hot?? And then as a cherry on top, you bit his ear.
Cashew willed every muscle in his body to stay as still as possible, swallowing every sound. Why was this so hot?? Why were you so hot??? No. No he couldn't! He was at his limit! He damn near bit through his lip as he dropped his books on the table, leaned his head back and made the biggest mess of himself in his pants.
And after a beat of silence, and after coming down for that amazing high, he pulls up his pants in one shift motion and legs it to the bathroom so fast he's almost a blur.
After cleaning himself up he returns to you reading his book.
"H-hey." He says shyly as he plops back down in his chair. You looked back up at him with a playful smile and HOLY SMOKES you're so attractive.
"Hey."
Cash clears his throat.
"O-okay that was amazing... You're amazing..." He leans over and kisses your cheek. "Thank you."
"Anytime." You say with a wink.
He looks over and sees you reading the part he was just at.
"Hey is that--?"
"Mhm. Gimme a minute to finish this chapter," you said slyly, "and maybe you can return the favor."
GOD he loved you.
