today the government announced that next month they will be paying people's pensions in installments, fired 70,000 public sector workers, took the entire public tv channel off the air, insulted a country's representatives so badly that they will be cutting off diplomatic relations, oh and announced that cash circulation will be cut off so that people will have to spend their life's savings -

all in one day and right before the long easter weekend so that the blows are kind of softened.

i looooooooove the washington capitals. i love to see them loping around like they've never played hockey before, while dylan strome and charlie lindgren (and absolutely no one else) attempt to Do Their Jobs. i love the stupid fucking roller coaster where they lose miserably to the s.abres and then 4 days later they mysteriously look like a real nhl team out there and shut out the br.uins. but most of all. i love to watch them play absolute ridiculous terrible sillytimes hockey, and still win the game.

Wow it’s been almost a year since I posted here 😭

Took a bit of a hiatus from posting bc quite frankly… I’m tired lol

There’s so many socials to keep up with, work, being perceived is annoying, rebranding, trying to figure out how to have fun and be professional online at the same time has been a headache, finding energy to draw, deciding when and what to post, Instagram has the whole AI shit going on, PLUS life/adulting stuff (hey wtf is a 401k), the state of the world is driving me bonkers, aaaaGHHH it’s so much.

BUT, despite all that, I wanna tell stories and I wanna get back to just… making stuff without feeling like I have to perform in order to get a job, keep a job, and be hire-able 😅

So yeah, for those still following, thanks for sticking around! I’m still figuring out who I am as a story teller and artist in general but tbh, I think I’ll be doing that until I’m dead, so…

ANYWAY, YEAH ART!! I’m gonna continue posting my old story stuff from last year that I didn��t cross post here yet and THEN I’d like to start (for real this time) posting stuff from my sketchbook and future stories I wanna work on! I really wanna show my process and just be more candid here but in a more ✨structured✨ way if that makes sense

maybe because once elaena grew up she realized that there were better ways of bringing dorne into the realm than violent conquest, and that daeron got the death he deserved from not just a nobility that is valid for fearing subjugation from valyria but also a smallfolk sick and tired of these people showing up every few decades to set their principality on fire, and put aside any anti dornish sentiments she may or may not have harbored as a child to see the way her family had directly attributed to their suffering, eventually even falling in love with and marrying a dornish man??

also, considering daeron ii attempts a type of proto-reparations act in bringing dorne into the kingdom, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that someone as intelligent as elaena would recognize the inherent racism in the targaryen conquest of dorne and especially considering the very loud anti-dornish, deeply anti intellectual faction in the blackfyre rebellions, realized they wouldn’t be kind or understanding of an intelligent woman like herself and had no interest in herself or her daughters (of which she had four!!) getting shoved back into the maidenvault again?

like, daeron i is on some andrew jackson manifest destiny shit, and if it makes me an asshole for thinking “god i wish someone had merked jackson before he genocided & displaced my ancestors, good on the dornish for realizing you can’t negotiate with imperialists” than i am perfectly comfortable being considered an asshole right next to my girl elaena.

So anyway I think there's a deleted scene in season 3 where Steve and Robin, high out of their minds, start talking about other random shit at the water fountain and one of them is the death of Caesar. Robin thinks it's outrageous that so few people actually stabbed him and Steve, my clueless baby, would just nod along and say something like "some people just don't know how to work for a living".
