Imagine in TF ONE, the Matrix does indeed have a spirit and consciousness, however even this spirit doesn’t know what the frag to do with Orion/Optimus. Cause all the other Primes in this version were born Prime, and Optimus is the first one to have a life before him and wasn’t prepared for this new life at all. (And also not counting the emotional trauma he got right after D-16’s betrayal). Even with the Matrix’s vast wisdom, this is still its first time trying to help a Prime in this circumstance. And it just had to first time parent itself through this.

Optimus: “Wisdom from Primus below, answer my call. How should I silence these thorny memory?”

lowkey very much highkey wish they put the movie versions of some of the songs on the soundtrack even just as lil bonuses bc im obsessed with how the “gooooo” notes just keep stacking and how you can hear when each brother joins in.

also i know everyone’s been memeing bitty b’s singing voice for it just being JT pitched up but i genuinely like it?? 😭 like yeah ik it sounds a little weird but i genuinely think it sounds like the kid they got to voice bb’s speaking lines and i unironically sing along to the actual song in this pitch just bc it’s easier for me to hit (i can’t sing low lmao) plus i think it adds a nice soprano sound when the boys are all singing together and makes the harmony feel fuller.

ALSO WHY TF DIDNT THEY PUT THE PRACTICE VERS OF PERFECT WITH POPPY ON THE SOUNDTRACK ITS SO GOOD PLUS I LOVE THE PART WITH THE DOUBLE “rewindddd” and poppy’s sassy lil “a-rewiiiindUH”

AND HOW DAREEEE THEY NOT PUT SWEET DREAMS ON THE ALBUM???? it scratches my brain sooo well and it’s one of the only songs from the twins that you can loudly and clearly hear veneer’s voice!! like i can hear him in the other songs but he’s singing bass and vel’s so loud that she sometimes drowns him out (not saying i don’t love her voice bc it’s AMAZINGGGG)

I love that Mulder was like aw fuck yeah it’s aliens again with the usual Scully eyeroll, but when he finally questions the victim about the alien she encountered, in all seriousness she answers “yeah his name’s Luke Skywalker, he’s what’s called a Jedi Knight” and you can visibly see him take like 500 points of hit damage

And not only that but Scully just keeps asking her questions with the straightest face and with every new answer Mulder just walks farther and farther away until Scully asks her how many times she’s seen Star Wars and she replies “368” and he has to physically leave the room and Scully’s barely holding back her laughter and I’m absolutely dyingggggg

gave myself the entire day off bc I feel like if I didn’t, it would’ve turned into another half-assed 2h of work that somehow takes the whole day. Needed a reset sort of a day to be able to deal with a new week.

things done today:

cleaned my apartment

went to a thrift store (didn’t find anything but I was so close to buying one of those ’’singing fish’’ wall plaque things (like the one they had in one What We Do In The Shadows episode) but I need to stop ironically buying cheesy things bc at some point I’m just buying cheesy things, u know)

went to try on the pants I’ve been thinking abt buying, so now I know my size if they ever are on sale online lol
