THIS IS SO REAL. bill 100% fought the theraprism staff who were trying to get him to the eye doctor in the first place for MONTHS. they kept telling him it would improve his quality of life but he is NOT HAVING IT. he only eventually agreed to go ON THE CONDITION that he doesn't have to get saddled with any medication. turns out, he doesn't need any.....just glasses :)

kind of personal, but i have severe astigmatism, and didnt know that until i was 18. the first night after i got my glasses, i looked up at the sky, and i realized that i could suddenly see WAY more stars than usual. and i remember tearing up, because i thought the sky was boring and star-less for everyone, but turns out they were just too far away for my nearsighted-ness to see. and i love projecting so i couldnt ignore the mental image of bill realizing that the stars-- that he already loved-- were even better when he could see them properly, without being medicated or having to squint.

nico di angelo can sleep ANYWHERE. he’s like the kid at weddings who puts 2 chairs together and curls up under the speakers with his shoes on and all and sleeps like its nothing. in contrast, will solace (being a son of apollo) has amplified hearing and has to spend like 3 hours tossing and turning bc a dog barking a mile away is keeping him awake + once the sun is up there’s no way he’s falling back asleep.

this also reflects on their appearance the morning after. will has the worst bedhead ever, he tries everything to fix it but it kinda stays there the whole day. nico wakes up with weird hair on the side he slept on but he shakes it out and it immediately falls perfectly like he’s a disney princess. BUT he does get puffy eyes + dark circles while will looks well rested even though he got 4hrs of sleep.

Mabel has been learning some beauty hacks. She knows how to do nails, lashes, brows- you name it!

She had been so excited to try all her makeover powers on her friends that she packed everything when going to Gravity Falls...only they wouldn't be there this summer.

Dipper had enough of her putting makeup on him and grunkle Ford seemed hesitant, always excusing himself. Soos and Melody where always busy with the baby, Wendy wasn't too keen on these type of things and despite her efforts to allow Mabel to practice on her, it was clear she would rather be doing anything else.

That's when her sweet angel, her muse, appeared. All glory and beauty in a stained tank top and boxers.

Mabel will be damned if she stops at simple make up. She's giving her grunkle the makeover he deserves, complete with shopping sprees, spa days and full MAKEOVER

They had a bit of a chance encounter on a day where Blueblood was dealing with something that was very difficult and was so caught up in his emotions he didn’t even care that he was in the garden getting grass stans on his coat and Ditzy, with her natural impulse to cheer ponies up, didn’t even notice or care that she was flying into the palace gardens when she saw someone sat in the rain.

At first he was definitely going to call the castle guards to come apprehend this strange filly with the odd eyes who was intruding when this was the last moment he’d want to entertain any desperate debutantes, however she surprised him by not fawning or anything, not even caring about his status, just putting one of her fluffy wings up and asking if he needed somepony to lend an ear.

“Don’t let my eyes fool you, my ears work just fine!”

She was incredibly disarming and while he didn’t reveal everything about why he was upset, he found himself talking about his feelings to her. And she made such cheerful remarks, and was very comforting. In the end, he felt better and she came to check on him the next day, even sharing a blueberry muffin with him. He remarked that he’d never seen her around before, and that he wouldn’t mind terribly seeing her more often.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Hey I wanted to ask, one time you said you disliked the then-current drafts of 'not sorry for loving you' because of the calypso representation in them, so what do you think of the final product?

Hummm I mean tbh, it didn't change much from the drafts so my opinion remains largely the same haha. I think it could be an interesting attempt at manipulation? But my issue is specifically with the line "I love you. But not the way that you want me to." I saw some people say it could be him trying to placate her, but the thing is he leaves Immediately after, which would make trying to placate her not very useful. It's almost like a last word kind of thing? But it's crazy work for your last words to your captor to be I Love You
