Been watching FOP: A new wish and I know that Peri’s wand is supposed to be based off his baby rattle. But I can’t help but feel like it’s also a way of showing that he’s repressing his magic.

Because in the original show it was shown that fairies stoped having kids all together because Cosmo was to destructive. And that the Cosma family is related to the Vonstrangles (the most powerful fairy family ever). And to top it all off Peri himself was MADE from a wish, which makes me think that he might have a greater magical capacity then other fairies do. All this put together could make him one of the most powerful fairies in existence.

So I find it kind of interesting that while all the other fairies have regular star wands, Peri’s wand has a more condensed star in a glass bubble.

And I think it’s kinda cool to think about what might happen if he were to lose control of his power. But that’s just my thoughts on it.

There’s something so interesting about Akemi releasing the songbird and Takayoshi killing it, and while he doesn’t know of how personally Akemi is projecting onto it, he recognises that the act and then his mother subsequently being a dick about it upset Akemi and offers her two birds to make up for it and the way that like, the basic principle that it suggests that he might be actually kinda an alright guy and not the tyrant Akemi has been dreading, but also, the way he presents her with two birds locked in a cage is so interesting because it could suggest he does guess how personally she was projecting onto that bird and offer her a metaphor back: two birds, both hemmed in by the strings of power and status and expectations and court intrigue and the machinations of his mother. Two birds trapped in a cage together

I think something so wonderful about sunny is that she is such a little girl. The admin that plays sunny does such a good job of giving her a distinct personality but in a way that everyone who was a little girl can identify with. I’ve seen so many people talk about how they acted like sunny did as a kid or would remember specific memories with their dad that they made as a kid that sunny and tubbos dynamic brought back to the surface.

Sunny being a little firecracker and “spoiled” girl while also being incredibly shy and kindhearted and wanting to be friends with everyone. The way she has an idea of what people like (money, fame, respect) and trying to demand that because she wants to be someone important and respected like a leader or princess would but still giving “poor” members diamonds to become rich because she would never want to turn away a potential friend.

It’s genuinely so sweet and beautiful that so many people can relive personal parts of their childhood as a little girl/kid and remember the good times and awkward time and see how they’ve grown as a person just from a Minecraft egg. It’s so fun to watch sunny interact with tubbo and think of how often I would “help” my dad with projects or how I would demand wearing a dress over a skirt because I wanted to look fancy for dinner.

It really just reminds me how we are all people and all experience similar things growing up. No one had the same situation, or the same family or even the same country, but we all had the same emotions and feelings and we can all identify with them by watching a Minecraft egg as silly as it sounds

I love how changing Claudia and Louis race to black ends up focusing and exploring more deeply into how vampires often exploit the marginalized (which is just what most people do but more dramatized since it’s fiction)

they’re not intentionally hating and using them because they’re black, they’re doing those things because they can get away with it more. Since people don’t care for black people’s well being, they can get away with any wrong done to them way more, they can leech and leech off of them until there is nothing left with little to no consequence! This was a minor, unexplored theme in the first book which was neglected which is sad since I feel like it adds a lot more to the vampires. By the show changing both Louis and Claudia to be black, it ends up pointing how easily people can get away with violence against black people especially during history! It shows that the vampires, just like humans, can be bigoted without an intense hate for the minority group in question. It points out how bigotry can be both subconscious, accidental and most horrifically, done just for power since they get away with it completely

Analysis:

The word ‘theatre’ shows up three times and the word ‘oblivion’ shows up twice in the table of contents. The Starlight Theatre is obviously super important to point where I don’t really need to say anymore on that right now.

Not gonna lie, at first, I thought it said ‘Random’ and pictured Willabella Muckwab writing random thoughts. I’d really like to see those. I bet she has crude doodles. Anyways— Kingdom!

‘The Summoning’ - “We dance around the pentagram, and take all our kingdoms back”

‘Oblivion’ is not just a word, but a concept heavily explored by H.P. Lovecraft and Isaac Newton, and the musicals themselves.

To some, oblivion is the state of total blackness, a place where everything is and is not, it is nothingness, and the knowledge that something resides within it. Take your pick. The point is to find what that means to you.

Analysis:

Oop! Here’s ‘theatre’ and ‘oblivion’ again! Honestly? Shrug emoji. My closest guess would be places that are susceptible to the Lords in Black/the Black and White. Why? Because of the words ‘theatre’ and ‘america’. Let’s take a look at this simple snippet from Black Friday:

“Only in America could Wiggly take root ... You think that in the Netherlands, they’d give a shit about some toy? No, they’re too busy on their paid vacations and the free healthcare.” - Uncle Wiley (spitting bars)

Number one looks like the same scribble as the first bullet in Part One, though.* For number three, I see ‘r-e-a’ pretty clearly, so ‘realm’ is context clues based. We’ll mosey on over to Hatchetfield’s little bio.

Analysis:

The contents under Part Four are the same as Part Three, but were flipped by the actual artist to fill space (I assume).

Here is that word ‘theatre’ once again! Why do I think the word under it is ’believe’? Simple! In the song ‘The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals’, we get this line nearing the end:

“You gotta believe in something, Paul, gotta believe in stupid Paul”

It looks like ‘never’, it reads like ‘never’, and the word ‘never’ just fits the vibe.

Okay, wait— I was going to write about Nibbly and the Honey Festival, because while the Honey Festival wasn’t founded until 1945, Nibbly and the word ‘queen’ could still coincide for whatever reason, but even with that, the Lords are usually listed in the order of ‘Pokey, Blinky, Tinky, Nibbly, and Wiggly’, but that might be one of the outliers, but I just remembered the Queen in White and something about that made me excited. We’ll see. What I was going to write about Nibbly still applies, though.

Analysis:

Not everyone wants to tango with the devils. It might be ‘Pokey’, but it’s the same either way, and the person who wrote this was most likely not Willabella, considering she seemed pretty chill with the Lords in Black and it’s coloring is different. Still looks like it was written in blood though. When you dabble in the dark arts, don’t forget to take a pen with you.

My question is— what counts as lore? I think this does. Anyway. Again. If anyone figures out what the fuck that word is after ‘History and ????” in part one, hit me up. I’m gonna challenge the word to a duel. What’s it gonna do?? Fight back?? Part three will be out at some point. Okay, bye.

call me crazy but i thought of a parallel i didn’t notice before

in the s4 episode treasure hunt, when they’re all teaming up to secretly look for the treasure, Eddie asks Buck to team up with him but he’s already teamed up with Taylor.

in s7 Eddie asks Buck to go to the bachelor party as Crockett and Tubbs, Buck doesn’t think for a second before saying absolutely, despite the fact that he’s currently dating someone he could wear a couples costume with instead.

Thinking about King Candybug’s state of mind (just rambling)

I think whenever he talks it’s important to remember that, although everything he’s saying are his words, his emotions are probably influenced a bit by the cybug coding.

Like when he turns into it, he’s not horrified of what he’s become, he’s delighted and murderous and impulsive. (He never stops to think “why is Ralph smashing the top of cola mountain”)

He’s only functioning off violent impulses, like how the other cybugs would.

Or maybe it’s all just cuz he’s already lost everything and is starting to lose it .. without the bug brain part? But it’s probably some sort of combination of both

I say this because he starts to see the other cybugs as near equals ?? (Of course he places himself above them but he doesn’t see them as animals or robots) cuz he goes YOU FOOLS!! Like I feel like that’s the cybug part of him speaking. If a king cybug could talk and was More Intelligent it would probably say stuff like that

King candy is fucking DEAD . he turned into the cybug hybrid thing and I think traces of turbo’s original code remained which is why he tried to resist at the end (and failed)

In the end he literally became 2 minds and he was, literally, no longer himself

The king candy persona assimilates with the bug instincts and becomes its own Monster and separates from his core personality
