so! eggman and shadow! methinks shadow ends up with the other robotniks bc theyre a source of familiarity in this large, terrifying world. GUN is semi okay with this bc that means most of the people connected to the ark are in one place and therefore easier to keep track of. unfortunately, eggmans already canon feelings of being bypassed/seen as a poor replacement for maria are only amplified by having her former best friend as one of his caretakers, and shadow is absolutely struggling with moving on from maria. he never saw her die, so hes clinging on to the idea that shes alive, just held by the government somewhere.

by the time eggman grows up, hes got a lot of ideas and enough sense to realize he needs the superpowered hedgehog on his side, so he goes on about his theme park and bettering the world and whatnot with a side of taking down GUN until shadow is helping him raid bases and theyre both on the run together.

of course, shadow isnt actually big on eggmans schemes, since most of them either dont improve the world or actively make it worse. but GUN is on BOTH their tails, so they have no choice to stick together.

good news, its been nearly fifty years, and sonic is juuust old enough to go out and beat up the badniks threatening the local wildlife population. so! classic sonic and shadow meeting! i think sonic and friends would be a positive influence on shadow, slooowly befriending him and (unknowingly) helping him move on. their first meeting is literally like

shadow: hm. i suppose you're here to stop the doctor?

i also have a specific vision for the first time sonic goes super. he has 6/7 emeralds and eggman is boasting about him never finding the last one, so he looks imploringly at shadow and extends his hand to ask for it. shadow, who is realizing how actively dangerous eggman is becoming, gives it up. he expects to never get it back, even if eggman collects them again, seeing as he just. yknow. betrayed eggman. but the emerald stays in sonics hands after the battle when the others fly away, and sonic gives it back to shadow. this is what starts sparking hope in shadow, and over the years they develop a very casual friendship with a lot of banter even before sonic starts talking.

i also think tails and shadow get along well bc tails is always infodumping and shadow loves learning new things. plus they both stick to the sidelines. oftentimes shadow ends up solving whatever problem tails was having with his tech, either through rubberducking or genuinely working together toward a solution. eggman is sooo mad bc shadows working AGAINST him. their relationship is. very strained by this point. bc now even SHADOW is leaving him behind for this annoying hedgehog and his weird friends! hes got no one left! this makes him worse <3 which makes his relationship with shadow also worse <3 the downward spiralllll. and that eventually spirals into SA2! i have. a lot of thoughts on SA2. but they arent coherent juuust yet. i just know its gotta be Fucked Up and throw ALL of shadows trauma back into his face.

so if the experimental cures based on shadows dna gave maria black and red eyes like eggman used to be depicted with and she used them to take the fall for shadow allowing him to live on earth where he grows up with/raises eggman and they have a very strained semi-mutual-interests-based relationship until SA2 where eggman unearths maria in a G.U.N. bunker would that be fucked up or what

Mr. Spider teached her how to use that giant syringe, its a little scary at first, Yuki hates being poked by their sharp needles! But seeing her patients feel better after then, she felt happier and braver!

Mr. Spider also taught her, she just have to do her best to help people who is in pain. If anything happened, he will give her supports. She can rest and take a break if she wants to, Mr. Spider will give her some candies and cuddles.

Yuki always had the urge to help people, even when she was stressed.

Its a habit she get after her father turned into a monster.

She would used her giant syringe and heal her patients. No worries to the liquid inside, its all her pure love and care.

2 - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

After gaining the magikey, Yuki starting to see the little stars everywhere!

It can be on the street, in the air, around the flowers, everywhere thats beautiful.

Its hard to understand, but Yuki likes to collect them up, and put them carefully into her little bag.

When enemies were trying to attack people, she will throw these little stars to the enemies and hit them hard!

The stars would help her, making shiny lights and blind the enemies!

"Hehe, I did it again, thank you, little stars."

3 - Take a break, Yuki

It only happened in specific scenarios. Yuki always fought with the other heros since she is a supporter and healer.

However, when it comes with Yuki being separated from the group and unable protect herself, Mr. Spider will showed up and guard Yuki.

Not many people have seen Mr. Spider's human form yet, and everytime he and Mr. Crowley met, Mr. Spider will try to eat him (actually just to scare him and threaten this fuking crow)

"Don't worry Yuki, do you see the people over there? I'll come to find you ten minutes later, you can help them a little and eat some biscuits. Its blueberry flavour."

Bonus

Yuki's mother was horrified when she knew her daughter gained the magic key, as a single mother who raised her daughter alone, she can't do anything but watching Yuki doing her "responsibility".

The villains were acting more frequently recently, and the government will make these who have the ability to work, to fight for the weaks.

She is only 5, she will got hurt, she is just a innocent, naive little child

Yuki doesn't know her mother's fear, she is happy that she gain new powers that can save people.

Its her dream to be someone like a superhero, to be a cool doctor!

Maybe she can make new friends, maybe people will like her again, instead of thinking her as a criminal's daughter.

"I have something to show you." Coriolanus said taking your hand, you smile as he walked you towards a door. You stopped at the door eyebrows snitched together.

"Hey you okay?" He asked looking at her with slight concern. Y/n nodded smiling slightly. "Hmm morning sickness again?"

"Y-yeah I think- ah!" you shouted slightly as suddenly a sharp pain going through you your hand going to your stomach as you start to crumble to the floor in pain.

Coriolanus's eyes widened as he wrapped his arms around you. He held you as you gripped onto his shirt.

You walked over to the crib picking up a small onesie that said 'Moms the best.' You bring the onesie up to your chest. Tears filled your eyes.

"We can take a day before we go back to the doctor." Coriolanus said. Leaning against the wall slightly. Y/n sat the picture down.

"I-I had some pain earlier in the pregnancy.." She admitted. Coriolanus eyes shot up face Turing into one she never wanted to face and looked at her.

"How could you not inform me of this?" He asked anger slowly rising.

"Because I went to the doctor and they said it was nothing.." She said as tears slipped down her cheeks.

"T-this isn't nothing!" Coriolanus said coming in front of you.

"M-maybe it is.." She whispered. Coriolanus eyed her in disbelief.

"What does that mean?" He asked she looked at him. "It means whatever happens.. Happens." Coriolanus backed away angrily.

"You have some nerve.." He spat. Her eyebrows stitched together "excuse me?"

"We are not continuing this pregnancy. I'm not going to lose you because of it." Y/n came up to him.

"It's not an it. Alright? You saw its heart beat and the little tiny fingers and its toes." "Stop!" "No im not gonna stop okay?!"

  Coriolanus looked at her eyes filling with tears whether it's from rage or what she's saying.

"T-this is our baby Corio. It's you and me." She said taking his hand. "Are we really going to let them place odds on us? After everything that we've been through? Kidnappings, District 12, peacekeeping, the games, my family?" She exclaimed. Coriolanus looked at her with sad angry eyes .

"I can't lose you.. not li-" Y/n cupped his cheeks "you're not going to lose me like your mother. We are going to be fine.." she said taking one of his hands and placing it in her bump. "All three of us."

"Plus if I go. I will haunt your ass to make sure you never slip." She joked.

"How the hell can you joke about this and be so calm?" He asked but more liked seethed at her. She took eyes off her bump and looked into his eyes.

"Cause I'm scared." Y/n said with tears slipping from her eyes. Coriolanus eyes softened before eloping her into an embrace.

"But I have to believe that the odds WILL be in our favor this is not where our story ends.." She whispered, forehead pressed against his.

You were now very heavily pregnant at a gala that the doctor okayed you to go to Coriolanus was by your side all night. Checking on you as you were both congratulated as people gushed over the two of you bringing a baby. Into the world.

Now, you had just gotten home and Corio was walking you to the bedroom. A peacekeeper came up to you bowing his head.

"Mister Snow sir, I'm sorry to interrupt but you have an important call." A peacekeeper said.

"What ever it is. Im sure it can wait." Coriolanus said coldly. The peacekeeper gulped before taking a deep breath and saying who it was. Coriolanus sighed as he gave you a hesitant look.

"Go, I'll be fine." Y/n said giving him a small smile. He gave you a kiss on the head.

"This won't take long." Coriolanus said you nodded as he walked off with the peacekeeper.

You continued your walk to the bedroom before you felt a sharp pain and felt something slip down your leg to see blood. Your breath hitched as your body crumbled to the ground not hearing her name being called in a series of panic.

Tigris rushed into the hospital wing seeing Coriolanus with his head in his hands. She gulped walking over to him placing a hand on his shoulder. He looked up with teary eyes.

"I can't lose her Tigris.. not like.." Tigris shushed him as she brought him into an embrace. It was the first time since before the 10th anual games that she saw the actual him.

"You're not going to lose her Corio, y/n is strong a lot stronger than we know." And she was right.

  The odds did it in fact fall in their favor a few moments later Elorie Rose Snow was born the both of you healthier than anyone could imagined. Coriolanus practically rushed into your room seeing you sat up holding the small baby in your arms looking as beautiful and alive more than ever. You smiled at him as he came closer looking at you then down at his.. daughter. He let the last tear slip as he embraced you kissing your forehead and wrapping his arm around you.

"Oh y/n she's beautiful.." Tigris cooed at the very healthy new born resting in you arms.

"Would you like to hold her?" She asked. Tigris froze for a moment before nodding her head.

"Ellie this is your godmother and best aunt Tigris." Y/n said as she handed Elorie over to her.

Tigris looked at Coriolanus surprised and he nodded. Tigris eyes welled up with tears as she held the baby looking down at her now goddaughter.

hi! do you by any chance have any info about periods while on testosterone that isnt just "it will make your period lighter and over time it might go away"? ive been on T for 3 1/2 months and last month had no period but right now ive been bleeding for almost a week and a half.. its a lot lighter than how my periods used to be (i typically bleed very heavy for 2-3 days and then by day 5 it's completely over) and ive been having cramps the whole time (i usually only have cramps the first 3 or so days and then it goes away) this is also my first period while i have a nexplanon implant so im wondering if that has something to do with it? im currently home for winter break and temporarily uninsured so i can't go talk to my doctor about it but i plan on talking to a doctor when im back at school

WIBTA If I told my girlfriend to "get over it" ?

This requires some preface, my girlfriend (25) is chronically ill, and doesnt have a job currently and doctors arent really sure what she has but its being managed, for the most part, she still deals / copes with a lot of pain.

I (25) work a full time job. To support us, and for the past few months she's been begging me to get a new job (ive been applying like crazy to many places but USA job market is fucking awful awful place) and to 'learn to drive' or something to ease her struggles / pain of driving me to work everyday.

The reason why she drives me to work is because, I cant drive but also my vision is extremely bad and i wouldnt be allowed to drive anyways. (Im nightblind and i am legally blind, my vision is BAD)

But for the past 2~ months she has, consistently complained about driving me to work , and nearly making me late every time. Like , its frustrating and I have told her this that her doing this is frustrating me and making me upset she does this because I'm so tired of it. Its all she does most days is drive me to and from work. But theres no alternative for us to get me to work, an uber or lyft would cost 70 dollars both ways and just not reliable. Public transit doesnt exist where we live fully, so i thats not an option either. Truly its just driving there, which takes about 45min - 1 hour depending on traffic.

I wouldnt use the exact words of "get over it" but something much more nicely and better thought out. ?

The only reason I think i would be an asshole is that she is chronically ill, but our circumstances require her to do the driving. Which sucks, for us.

how does one escape their medical files and pathologization lol ? im diagnosed w some rlly stigmatized conditions and it kind of ruins my life. i cant seek out any medical care without being asked if im seeing a therapist and when i say no they make me see one, if i say i dont want to do that they prescribe me meds n expect me to take them. even tho i dont rlly struggle they assume based off dx alone that i must be in need of constant care for the rest of my life and its made me avoidant of doctors in general even for things i rlly need to get seen. are there ways to circumvent this n protect myself ?

it depends what kind of recordkeeping system you're trying to evade but basically you need to see a provider who won't be able to enter your name into any kind of shared database with your patient records and you just tell that person you don't have your old doctor's info or you weren't receiving regular medical care. ive moved a lot and ditched my records a bunch just by switching geographic networks but i've also done it locally a few times by just going outside the hospital network but that way won't always work & i can't do it anymore on the public healthcare lol. also bear in mind if you do this you lose everything, like if your chart has vaccination records, blood labs, documentation of any chronic issues etc, that's all gone for the new provider and because this necessitates switching systems you typically can't really keep seeing both providers.

saw the post abt top surgery so i wanted to ask : in your personal experience, what would you say is the right age/amount of time to deliberate on getting top surgery?

im still really young so im paranoid that ill rush things and make the wrong choice or something (i know this just sounds like im buying into terf propaganda.. i just dont have any actual older trans folk to ask abt this irl)

I don't think asking yourself whether you really want top surgery or not is buying into terf rhetoric tbh. It is a fairly big change to want and thinking about it seriously is just that.

Personally I'm 23, and have known I wanted top surgery since I was around 16. I've known people that did it as soon as they were of legal age/had the money for it and I've known others that waited a lot more than that. Personally I'd say the right time is however long you need to gather info about top surgery, all its up and down sides, and to get yourself into a situation where you are safe to go through with it (aka people to take care of you in the aftermath, not living with people that might be hostile to it...)

I don't know how the procedures work in your country, but here in Belgium I first had to meet with a social worker (specialized in medical transition) that gave me the rundown, a lot of helpful advice, and gave me a letter of "informed consent" and the surgeon's email. If you have the equivalent wherever you live, these are the kind of people you can go to in real life to share your doubts and fears.

ALSO, no matter the medical procedure you want to do for your transition, you can stop whenever YOU want. You can set up appointments with doctors and surgeons, and suddenly you realize you don't actually want it? Put a stop to it, cancel the appointment.

Currently we live in a world that spams the news with claims that all transgender individuals are "ruining their bodies". With this kind of climate it makes sense that we sometimes feel like that's something we might be doing.

I didn't get on testosterone for years despite being of age because I was scared I would regret it. And now 1.5 years on it, it's definitely one of the best decisions I've made in my life. I don't regret the time I spent weighing the pros and cons, it was the time that I needed to be fully comfortable with the reality of medical transition.

tldr, there is no ''right'' timeline for any transition of any kind. The only thing you need is to be comfortable with the rhythm you're setting. While we can't speed things up most of the time, we can certainly slow them down if we want.

Here some tips that I think could help:

personal experience can come a long way. I will say this part of the reason I am able to write what I write is due mostly because I myself have some disabilities or know someone who has them. For example I have ADHD and autism, depression (what a surprise said no one) anxiety and not to mention I probably do have a learning disability (that I refuse to get checked out because I have no money, my insurance is ass, and I live in America so I don't need another target on my back) but thankfully theyre all managable. to an extent. ish. sort of. But that's besides the point, anyways, I also have a lot of health issues too, my biggest example is my bad knee! So thankfully because of that, for my brain dead au i don't need to research as much about physical therapy since ive already had some experience from when I took some! Now thats me, unfortunetly I also know of people who have been in severe car/motorcycle accidents. Ive seen how much one accident can range in when it comes to damage. For example my uncle (my mothers husband who ive now grown apart from ever since he voted for the stale cheeto puff) was in a motorcycle accident I want to say 10 years ago? But it was bad since he fell of a bridge going 45 mph, which resulted in him having almost every bone in his body broken, like the mans was a walking mummy by that point, and having missing teeth. But surprisingly enough he not only survived by retained little to no severe damage on his body. He has no scars, no body aches (apart from the ones that come with age) he has no memory or physical problems, nothing. It's like he never was in the accident at all. Of course he now has fake teeth but thats about it. On the other end, i've had an uncle who was riding his own vehicle and just swerved and hit a wall going around 30-40 mph, him on the other hand had only two broken arms but ended up being paralyzed from the neck down and is only semi conscious at times. his accident was around 1 year or so ago. Now more recently and what i consider the middle ground, one of my cousins from my dad's side got into an accident too where he broke his arm, fractured a rib, and retained a brain injury. This was about a month ago, now for him he's able to move, although he is still in a lot of pain, and he's having memory problems as well as hearing problems. Also because of how bad off they are he's unable to go back to the doctor for another diagnosis and treatment. But yeah, a lot of severe injuries in my family. THE LIBRARY, not only are you supporting the library by going and checking out books and using their resources, as well as building community, but also you can learn a lot about almost every subject you want! And remember there isn't just physical books, but they have online/audio books too that can help immensely!

if you go to a college or university, they usually have a database of factual peer reviewed scholarly information. I go to this cute and absolutely AMAZING community college that has one of these and all i need to do is go the library homepage, go to the database, look at what topic i need to look at (in this case for me i'd have to go put in health and nursing) then click on one of the bases , for example Gale Interactive Human Anatomy which shows me interactive 3D models of human anatomy and a full in depth explanation of what i need and thats it!

usually for the most part just remember that intentions do matter and coming to the realization that a lot of things are just a spectrum, meaning that a lot of diagnosis (like autism or brain damage) could mean different things to different people and depending on their background can affect a lot of their daily aspects in a lot of different ways. Example: im mexican born in america, for me it WAS possible to get physical therapy but only my parents have been in the usa long enough to have been able to provide for me while i was getting them first time around (funfact bout me i should be getting PT again but since i cant afford it... and my MRI cost me half of what I had in my bank account, I won't be able to go again) but unfortunately for my cousin who i mentioned before, him and his family aren't too well off, so he wasn't even able to start PT, not to mention that he kinda lives in a dangerous part of Guanajuato so our family doesn't want him out of the house too much right now.

Keep a notebook or doc or something with all the information you find and label it! Highlight the parts you want to include and go into depth about what you want! Like how a certain disability/disorder/injury can come to be, the symptoms, how to treat it, what can happen if not treated, ect.

Anways, these are some of the tips i have when it comes to researching, i'm sure theres more but yeah thats all i got for now! also if you're not in college/uni you are always welcomed to message me about the topic you want and I can find information for you!

i'm very big on sabolaw because (to me) they just make sense. a whole lot of sense.

they both have their similarities in terms of backstory and lore: both of them saw the truth about the society they lived in at the age of 10, between the flames of a city, or part of a city, that they called home, and they both have lost an important figure in their life with whom they seeked freedom, and to whom they promised to keep their will alive, now living through their vows.

both sabo and law are in search of freedom. for sabo, it is more of an universal freedom, the freedom of the people before his own, even if it started as something he yearned for himself; for law, it's effectively a personal freedom, a freedom he wants to achieve for his own person, and for cora. but in order to achieve both of their goals and be free, they have to discover the truth about their world, and their lives. the true history.

checkered fate.

interestingly enough, in the manga sabo and law are described to both have a checkered fate; the five elders use this adjective to describe sabo's destiny, because he's surrounded by people with the moniker D, and law uses it to describe his own fate, when he decides he wants to seek out the meaning behind his name, and so discover the truth about the will of the D.

now, this is why i think sabo and law will end up working together, sooner or later. i know that law becoming an ally of the revolutionary army and/or linking up with sabo is a very popular theory and i'm so, SO glad it is! because it really makes sense, doesn't it?

sabo is destined to be involved with people with the initial D in their name, and was just now trusted with the task to deliver vivi and luffy the message that vivi is a D just like luffy is, making him even more involved than he already was with the clan and its descendants. on the other side, we have law, whose newly found objective is to find the truth behind his existence, thus uncovering the "true history", which will inevitably bring him closer to other "D"s and to those who always get mixed up with them.

if we add these bits of info to the whole imu situation...

imu is, most certainly, an immortal being, who became immortal thanks to the ability of the ope-ope no mi. ivankov literally SHOWS the fruit to sabo in chapter 1086!

and i mean, i doubt sabo still doesn't know who law is. he was in dressrosa, after all (also im so so so convinced sabo and law met sometime during the timeskip bc law saved luffy's life and iva was right there and how could sabo not know that was law who saved his little brother's life and how could he not go and thank law for what he did i mean- c'mon-) and he most likely knew about the alliance with luffy and everything else. so he should know that law is the wielder of the ope-ope no mi, and it would be obvious for him to seek law out in order to know more about the fruit's ability and find a counterattack to imu's (and, probably, the five elders') immortality. it would be so disappointing if after all these little hints they ended up never meeting. like, at all.

finally, sabo and law's dynamic would be soooo interesting!! sabo is similar to luffy in some ways, but he's also... completely different. i think law wouldn't lose his mind working with sabo, because yes, sabo is irresponsible and impulsive and a bit of a jerk- but he follows the plan, he's strategic, he's stealthy and logical, and he puts the success of the mission above everything else (that isn't luffy, of course). law can work splendidly with that. i also think they would have a very entertaining back-and-forth, both of them being as witty and blunt as they are. they would be equals, and have a very well balanced relationship. sabo is cheerful and kind, fiery and elegant, which is a good contrast to law's cold, serious demeanour, and heartless façade (because law cares just as much as sabo, he wants to help people just as much as him; he is a doctor, after all). also their devil fruits would work so well, so good together, it would be so cool- oda i'm begging you, please, let them be partners, please-

one piece gakuen and stampede showed us a bit of how their possible dynamic could work, and i pray day and night that we can have something like that in the main manga, too. i need it.

tl;dr: sabolaw is a very good pairing with a lot of potential that i hope will be explored in the story sometime in the future. please do consider them!!!

EDIT: I only now found there are more complete translations of the new lorebook, that may alter things here quite a bit depending on if it touches on relevant stuff. Ill probably write a more easy to follow and updated version of this post when I got less schoolwork anyway so yeah. Arknights Theory: The nature of the Lord of Fiends powers and the purpose of the black crown. IDK how to spoiler and non of what I find onlines helps with that so just know... spoilers ahead. I also wanna say that I havnt double checked a lot of this stuff, I did for some of it but id like to re-read a bunch of this when some of the CN only stuff has come to global anyway. So take with a grain of salt is all im saying that I remember right since I dont remember exactly where to find all of this info, altough I will mentioned where I thought I got it from for various evidence. So tl;dr here is that I think Amiya´s powers is actually about manipulating originium, the memory, emotion and energy blasts (also making a sword) is all extensions of that and NOT fully distinct powers like some believe, also the Lord of Fiends has to have oripathy. Also the black crown was made by Priestess to eventually facilitate her resurrection and the reason doctor convinced Theresa to transfer her powers to Amiya was part of that plan. Now, why do I think all this? Starting on Amiya´s powers. While dialogue indicates some skilled casters *can* learn multiple types of arts, Amiya is not a skilled caster. She is very powerful but not particularily skilled at it. Her powers are ALL derived from the originium arts her oripathy and Lord of Fiends nature grants her. She also had all these powers pretty much from moment 1 it seems so it seems unlikely she learned it trough practice to do many different things. So its likely one ability that is just very broad in its usage, similarily to how Rosmontis´s powers work (if I remember right Kal´tsit even says their powers are very similar in nature). Amiya can do energy blasts, view memories and sense emotions... according to Kal´tsit in chapter 7 the way sarkaz prophecies work is basically that thoughts are stored in originium allowing other sarkaz to tap into the memories in that originium to calculate a likely outcome with multiple people´s brains. So originium can store thoughts/minds. And by extension memory would be a part of that. There is also clearly stuff relating to the dead but ive heard several CN server events have gone into that more so I dont wanna speak about anything regarding dead souls until that comes to global because I do not wanna go reading very complicated lore stuff in a language I dont understand really, so ill adjust or drop this theory as nescesary based on future information of course. So, then the emotions and memory stuff is covered, making the sword is also simple, its just made of originium. So the energy blasts? Well the main way originium is used is as a power source and its required to cast arts for those without oripathy (who have originium inside them to channel arts anyway). Another piece of evidence here is that Manfred could disrupt Amiya´s arts with his own, which seem to revolve around detonating or manipulating the energy in originium, allowing him to harm Amiya when she tried to gather up energy from nearby originium. When she pushes herself extra hard she probably draws extra power from the originium in her own body, which is why it has such a negative effect on her physically even compared to other casters. This, and a bit from the new lorebook revealing the first Lord of Fiends was the first person with Oripathy, is why I think the Lord of Fiends HAS to have Oripathy.

So, with that established, why do I think the Black Crown is meant to resurrect Priestess? First of all, the Black Crown or Civilight Etherna, is tech from the advanced precursor civilization (it was not found by them but invented by them, its directly referenced as a different project to the AMa projects, which is part of what Kal´tsit is refered to by certain beings in the know about the previous civilization, the crown also resembles Mon3tr in appearance). Its stated in Amiya´s module that its purpose is to store information, memories and emotion. And we know for a fact that they were capable of brain uploading, as seen with Friston in Lonetrail. Its original purpose was as a historical record, but that doesnt mean it cant have been altered later. Priestess is stated by Friston to have created Originium, something we will likely learn more about in the Victoria arc on account of certain reveals in chapter 13. Since Originium is so closely linked to the crown, by virtue of the first infected being the first Lord of Fiends, originium was clearly created in relation to something to do with the Crown. And well.. when Priestess put the doctor into the sarcophagus she said they would be reunited and their love would outlast the stars. Despite her seeming convinced she would die.... Kal´tsit seems to have been either created or turned into what she is now by Priestess too, or well by their people at least. But for dramatic convenience I think Priestess makes the most sense. I think the crown getting linked to the sarkaz collective unconcious/dead souls (this is the part im most uncertain about because there is so little info on this on global especially) was NEVER part of the plan. Since it seems likely the previous civilization created the ancients (animal people) to drive the sarkaz away (and also be slave labour, this isnt like 100% confirmed but there is some hints for this) I suspect they saw the sarkaz as lower beings and had never considered the crown would link up with them. So I think the original purpose was that some sort of great calamity fell upon their people, Priestess tried to store her mind in the Black Crown in some process that led to the creation of Originium and because the first person to down the crown was a sarkaz made her unable to do what she originally intended, possessing a later wearer of the crown and reunite with the doctor. This part is of course pure speculation as well with very little evidence, but it does line up somewhat. And I think some of the concept trailers supports the idea the crown can let someone store their mind to take over a later host (altough not with Priestess specifically).

So, fast forward to Amiya... she was born in Rim Billiton a normal cautus girl, her family were miners and lived on a normal landship in Rim Billiton... but one day disaster struck and the ship got destroyed in a horrible disaster. This is all gone into more in To the Grinning Valley but was already implied beforehand. To the Grinning Valley is also interesting for several reasons to this theory, they explicitly call attention to how strange it is that the doctor would bring Amiya with them after finding her in the wreckage. Saving her is in line with their behavior, but why bring her along? Its common in Rim Billiton for miners to adopt other children. Why not leave here somewhere? Why bring her with them to Babel? And this isnt just Amiya wondering or an outside observer, we find out from Savage that Kal´tsit doesnt know why the doctor did what they did. And whats more, Kal´tsit believes the doctor convinced Theresa to transfer her powers to Amiya, and since no previous Lord of Fiends had done so directly, the crown picked a successor, I think the doctor also taught Theresa how she could directly move it, circumventing the dead souls of the sarkaz will being imposed on the crown´s choices. So, why Amiya? Kal´tsit either doesnt have any idea why or just didnt want to tell Savage, but it is clear that she NEVER agreed with the decision. We have some ideas why Theresa did it, Amiya not being a sarkaz would mean she would be less strongly influenced by the dead souls and the lords of kazdel would refuse to follow her. Or at least chapter 12 and 13 heavily implies this was her motive. But why did the doctor want that? In To the Grinning Valley the question of if the doctor always intended to use Amiya for that from the start and grew to care about her over time, or if they took her in with no ill intentions and then got the idea later out of desperation, is raised but left unanswered because the doctor cant remember, and no one else knows why.

I believe the doctor also wished to undermine the crown´s link to the sarkaz, and that the plan was to use Amiya as a vessel for resurrecting Priestess. And it is an interesting topic, its often brought up how much even pre amnesia doctor cared about Amiya... but in To the Grinning Valley we focus a bit on the insecurity and uncertainty Amiya and Savage have about *why*. Savage telling an anecdote about a friend who went bad after fame got to their head and admitting she doesnt know which is worse, if the doctor did love Amiya and their circumstances made them so willing to trample over what they loved that they would force the black crown on her, or if the doctor had always been intending to just use Amiya for that purpose. And Amiya admitting she never knew why doc would care for her so much. And here is an interesting thing... in anything post victoria arc, we have NEVER seen Amiya and the doctor interact so far. Amiya is in Arturia´s oprec but otherwise she hasnt been on screen post victoria arc. To the Grinning Valley is set before it. The doctor has been doing all manner of things all over Terra in that time period, but Amiya isnt there with them, she is still with Rhodes Island is clear though. So... does Amiya and the doctor still have a good relationship post Victoria arc? Doc clearly cares for Amiya still, when Rosmontis talks about missing Amiya in Lonetrail (she had been away for some weeks or months, unclear) doc agrees that they miss her too, but they dont really go into any detail and are talking about both Amiya and Logos. Depending on what we learn in the later chapters of the Victoria arc, I could see Amiya feeling rather betrayed by the doctor. Not to the point of completely cutting them out but that it might still make her a bit more distant to them. I think it would be interesting to see how Amiya would take it if she learned that the doctor had originally intended to use her for very selfish end goals. Surely the thought has crossed her mind and she just isnt willing to entertain it, but if she learns something in the climax of the Victoria arc that shakes her absolute confidence in the doctor? That could be a pretty big deal. We already know Amiya has a habit of rather then accepting people wronged her first try to look for excuses. What Theresa did to her Amiya refuses to admit is wrong even when directly pointed out to her how messed up it was (chapter 8 Rosmontis compares what Theresa did to Amiya with what Loken did to her). She isntead focuses on how she must be failing to live up to Theresa´s expectations, an idea NO ONE tried to put into her head as far as we can tell. Altough it is a little unclear because she gets VERY defensive about it when the Damazti Cluster suggests she was forced into her role at Rhodes and given too heavy responsibilities to carry. Will she do this this time as well? Look for excuses why what doctor did was "justified"? But in chapter 13 she also finds meaning in rejecting the legacy of the black crown and that she will use its powers purely for her own ideals and not worry about what its purpose is. With that in mind how would that color her perception of finding out an even older purpose for it that implicates the pre amnesia doctor?

wait wait, could i offer you the use of my own au The Quirkless Martial Arts Club, its basically what it sounds like, a martial arts club populated predominantly by elderly quirkless martial artists. its not that quirked people are banned from participating (there have been at least a few) its mostly that in this day and age not many people in the area are interested in non quirk combat.

the premise is basically that izuku is their first beginner student in years and these clinically insane old fucks all start fighting over who gets to teach him first. izuku only really gets training because one of them usually sneaks off with him while the others are getting into fights about who hes training with today.

i dont so much have ocs for this au as i have characters from other martial arts media with the serial numbers filed off and transplanted into bnha. ones i use frequently are ip man, the martial artists from kung fu hustle (the movie is free on youtube) and the ryozanpaku dojo masters(from kenichi the mightiest disciple, the anime of which is also free on youtube but the manga is longer) and various characters from kengan ashura (kureishi mitsuyo usually but ive used others like mukaku gaoh) and the manga teppu's ladies.

i dont really have a set plot for this either but usually if im working with people who were supposed to be living in hiding to avoid trouble like the kung fu hustle characters i just say they no longer have to live in hiding to avoid trouble since heroes got big. no set rules either, pink muscle fibers can be a thing anyone can train for and landlady's lion's roar is a martial art anyone can learn because why not? if theres multiple characters from multiple series i just say they take turns holding quirkless martial arts club meetings at various members residences. kureishi mitsuyo or someone else might take izuku to an illegal fighting ring as a learning experience, if not just sign him up to fight entirely.

and she already gave him permission to have his broken bones treated by one of those freaks. nezu appears to be considering hiring them to work at ua mostly because he finds them funny but also because they are bizarrely competent at what they do)
