IDK I can't name things for shit, and it's past 3AM.

Honest to God idk what this is. I had an idea. There aren't any names mentioned, but it's Jon and Ed.

He was asleep. That wasn't terribly uncommon after we finished for the night. This was about the only time of day you could get any semblance of quiet out of him either. He had a terrible habit of running his mouth. I find that it's much better suited for other things.

I watched the slow rise and fall of his chest beginning to speed up. His brow began to furrow. Yes, he was asleep all alright but not peacefully. I've never known him to sleep peacefully. He tosses and turns like a worm writhing on a fishing line. The small whimpers are always a delight to my ears. His small pleas to stop, please make it stop are a wonderful addition as well. If only I knew just what it was he was dreaming about. He's not like this under the toxin; it almost angers me to know that I'm being robbed. Instead of this, I bear witness to his cleithrophobia. This seems so much more personal, and that makes it all the more fascinating.

It doesn't take long before he bolts upright, wide-eyed. A hand flies to cover his mouth. He squeezes his eyes shut for a moment and opens them again. I can see tears threatening to form in the corners of his eyes. He's never been a crier. He wraps both his arms around himself in an attempt to self-soothe, but it's pointless. His eyes quickly dart to me and then away as if I was meant to do something to ease the suffering, and the worst part is there was a moment when I actually wanted to. It was just a brief fleeting moment, but I had actually wanted to help him as opposed to studying him. I had been having feelings like that about him a lot more lately, and it's been an inconvenience, to say the least. That's not even to mention the amount of times I've thought about him unprompted. It's been happening ever since the beginning of this...arrangement. He's like a worm. A worm that crawls into your brain and won't get out, one that slowly consumes you until there's nothing else left, but really it's him that needs to worry. Crows eat worms.

I smiled down at my phone, thinking about what he could have planned for us later when Lacie suddenly cleared her throat. I looked up to find that she was already smirking at me, "What?!"

I smiled and shyly looked away, trying to hide my excitement.

"I knew it! Did he tell you that you all will be alone after dinner. Jhope is coming back to our room with me so you can spend time alone with Jungkook. No need to thank me or anything." She winked as I rolled my eyes playfully in return. "Okay Missy, want to head down to the lobby? The cab will be here any minute to take us to the stadium."

At the Concert

They arrived at the stadium with plenty of time to spare but found that it was already crawling with ARMY. Apparently they weren't the only ones who had the idea to arrive early.. but it worked out in their favor because they met new people and got to take pictures with other groups of ARMY's while waiting to enter the stadium.

Sometime after, they went to get drinks and to find their seats on the floor before the concert started. 45 minutes of waiting patiently passed and the lights suddenly dimmed, beginning the concert. The boys each came out behind bars with the dancers as the music started to blare throughout the stadium. Even though the two girls have been spending most of their time with Jungkook and Hobi, they both couldn't help but let their OT7 sides show, cheering for all the members at the top of their lungs.

The first song on the set list was 'ON' and as always they did not disappoint. They hit every dance step, every note, and the performance was absolutely flawless in every way imaginable. As it came down to Jungkook's solo part, Olivia couldn't help but get goosebumps all over her body at the sound of his angelic voice. Lacie glanced at her and could immediately tell how awestruck her bestfriend was by him.

She smiled to herself as she knew right then that Olivia had fallen deeply in love with Jungkook.

The night went on and the concert was hands down the best experience they could have hoped for. They were having the time of their lives, jamming out to some of their favorite BTS songs and singing at the top of their lungs with the rest of the audience.

End of the Concert

It was unfortunately that time of the night where the boys would make their final speeches one by one in front of their fans. Each member had taken their turn, leaving Jungkook for very last as he stood alone in front of the crowd. He immediately started to look for Olivia out in the audience, but when he couldn't find her he said something in such a way so she would know he was talking to her. "You are the reason that I smile everyday, so I hope I am your reason for your smile as well."

[Olivia's POV]

As I was listening to his beautiful speech, I couldn't help but notice when he said the line about reasons for smiling. For some reason I couldn't help but to feel like that was directed towards me. What am I talking about!? I wanted to face palm myself for even thinking such a thing.

When the speech was over, I felt Lacie nudge me and as I turned to look at her, she leaned in to whisper in my ear, "That line was definitely meant for you dude."

I looked at her in confusion as she pulled me closer to explain, "The reasons for smiling. That was about you and him, I know for a fact it was."

I pulled away and chuckled a bit while shaking my head, "Don't be silly."

I played it cool but secretly I had so many thoughts swirling around in my head. - Was that meant for me? - Does he feel about me the way I'm starting to feel about him? - Maybe he likes me? - Is this more than just a fling?

So much was going on that I barely even heard anything else, my brain was swimming in questions that I could not shake off.

There was only 5-10 minutes remaining of the concert when a security guard walked over, motioning for us to come with him. Once we were out of the sight of ARMY's, we instantly relaxed and followed him into a room that was stocked with snacks and beverages.

"Ladies please help yourself. The members will be in as soon as they can." He bowed and left the room, shutting the door behind him.

We were sitting on the comfy black sofa with our drinks having a conversation, when all of a sudden the door swung open 15 minutes later. We both snapped our heads towards the door and saw Hobi coming into the room. He shut the door quickly behind him as he walked over to Lacie, pulling her into a warm and sweet hug, "Hey! Did you guys enjoy the concert?"

Lacie smiled, "Yes! You guys were incredible and did so well. I am proud of you all."

He smiled and thanked her, placing a sweet kiss on her cheek. She giggled as they both looked over at me, "What about you sugar, did you enjoy the show?" He asked with a soft smile as I returned it.

"Of course. It was everything I ever hoped it would be. Thank you all for being so humble and working so hard to give us ARMY's the best performances possible."

He thanked me and pulled me into a big hug. I happily hugged him back while smiling and right about the time we pulled apart, the door opened once again revealing the one man I've been anxiously waiting for.

He shut the door behind him and made a b-line straight for me. He stopped in front of me and grabbed my hands, helping me stand up, then smothered me in the biggest and warmest hug ever.

He then let out a happy sigh as he softly whispered in my ear, "I missed you so much."

I smiled as we pulled apart, reaching my hand up and running my fingers through his hair gently, "I missed you too Kookie."

He leaned in to my touch, carefully grabbing my wrist and brought my hand up to his pink lips, giving it a soft kiss which caused my stomach to erupt with butterflies. Lost in the moment, we both completely forgot about our best friends that were still very much in the room.

It wasn't until Hobi spoke that we were pulled from our trances, "JK, tell her about your speech."

Looking at Jungkook, his cheeks had gone red, "What does he mean?" I asked curiously.

He stepped forward, taking a deep breath, "When I was talking about the reasons for smiling, I was hoping that you knew I was talking about us. I tried to look for you, but couldn't see you in all the people so I tried to say it in a way that you would know I was speaking to you."

My heart was beating so loud that I was afraid everyone in this room could hear it too.

"I thought it was, but I didn't want to assume. Thank you for being so kind and caring towards me, you're the sweetest-" A tiny tear shed from my eye as he wiped it away and I continued. "you are also my reason for smiling everyday since I met you."

I pulled him close, attaching my lips to his. Without any hesitation, he pulled me in by my waist to get closer as we melted into each other. The door opening brought us back to reality, as we broke the kiss turning towards the door,"Damn, that was hot. Don't mind me you guys, keep going." Yoongi pulled up a chair and motioned for us to continue while he crossed his arms over his chest.

Jungkook naturally rolled his eyes, "Shut up hyung you're going to scare her away."

Yoongi laughed while walking over to me, putting an arm over my shoulder, "I am just playing with you guys. I always deal with awkward situations with humor or at least I try to. You'll have to learn to ignore me sometimes."

Now why did doflamingo tell him to just leave the strawhats alone, and yet come to jaya running??? I'm just picturing him really mad, flying over the clouds like that scene in punk hazard, and planning to take revenge on luffy himself😂 especially since luffy is a D too.

There's just something about this exchange, it feels very... out of place, everyone around them fighting while they're standing in the middle of the battle field flirting and having a friendly conversation in front of white beard's ship,and doflamingo inviting crocodile to team up against white beard to bring the new era, since everyone knows croc has a grudge against him.

and I think this is the only time we see crocodile smile in this arc, the exchange ends with him being a tsundere as usual which is great, I also feel like this shows they knew each other from a time back when they were rookies, they were both at lougetown the day of Roger's execution, so they probably go waaay back.

So when crocodile switched sides, and started helping white beard (the symbol of the old era) against the government, doflamingo got mad..

Now why the hell is doflamingo focusing on crocodile this much???

What is Oda thinking?? What exactly is their relationship?

I hope we have a similar scene after doffy breaks out from prison, but in reverse with crocodile asking doffy how he found the bath of blood, and Then doflamingo asking to join cross guild (basically begging to be his subordinate like crocodile said), that would be awesome foreshadowing.

Then they would be working together ushering in the new era for real this time!! Maybe With moria and mihawk too!! They were all at Roger's execution after all, but now they're all fighting against the world government, while in marineford crocodile was the only one on whitebeard's side, while doffy, mihawk, and moria were fighting on behalf the world government.

Their 2nd “meeting” (1st being in therapy and vvv ugly) is when Kate and Aaron mutually break up after her return from the psych ward and his return from Thanksgiving (see dtyfstf); although the fic wouldn’t start there, that is the moment that created this spin-off ship/fic/project/AU.

Having heard how much shit the Foxes are going through, Thea flies in to check in on Kevin who has ghosted her (thus breaking her promise again of no-contact but way, way worse).

In a scene reminiscent of Andreil’s first meeting, Kate and Thea literally run into each other when Kate exits Aaron’s dorm so fast she slams door 317 into Thea and falls into her.

Because Kate is crying so hard and because Thea does not want their therapy group to get on her back any more than they already are, Thea puts her Kevin mission on hold and takes Kate back with her (idk where yet… hotel room? Bar? Diner? Cab?) to “support” her therapy mate.

Thea is the more surprised of the two at her decision to take Kate under her wing (u know like a raven).

Kate starts to believe Thea is not as bad/mean as she projects in group therapy.

Thea doesn’t understand why she went out of her way like that, why she acted so out of character, so she proceeds to /gently/ but firmly kick Kate out, call her an Uber, and the next time they see each other, weeks later, in group, Thea is cold and distant.

That's the main scene to be written at the moment, the thing that’ll start me up and show me the golden path of Kathea.

Miscellaneous thoughts:

To me they're like if a nymph (Katelyn) and a goddess (Thea) fell in love.

While it causes no real impact on Kate’s career (cheer + med) to be queer, Thea’s pro Exy career is highly at risk, what with already being an ex-Raven and a Black woman in a mixed sport; it’s important to me that we’re all aware of that; and thus despite both women being each other’s first sapphic/queer relationship, they have widely different backgrounds and stakes at play in committing (or not) to this new love.

Katelyn doesn’t want to see Thea as a threat, for herself, Aaron and the Vixens/Foxes, but sometimes the way Thea handles her past and present is scary, and Kate doesn’t know if Thea is trustworthy with everything (and Riko) going on; those who have read ‘dance ‘til you find someone to die for’ know why trust and betrayal are big issues in the Katheaverse.

However, Thea doesn’t know anything about the vastness of Riko's evils; her main tormentor has always been Tetsuji Moriyama. 

Riko acted the way all male Ravens (except Jean and Kevin) have always treated her: with misogyny and bigotry. Riko wasn’t special, not with her, not to her; but she doesn’t realize yet the Ravens were a cult, that it wasn’t normal, that she has repressed some things and that what is hurting her inside is also hurting others, whether fellow ex-Ravens like Jean and Kevin, or outsiders like Kate and Aaron who become collateral damage wave after wave Riko creates.

Of course I’m playing with the age gap between Thea (26-28) and Kate (20-22) because I think it’s very sexy and I’m self-projecting what I wish would happen to me love-wise 💅 I also previously thought about bringing up Thea’s trauma with younger partners (i.e., the whole Kevin grooming shitshow that was made-up by a-hole fans) to lay the issue to rest once and for all, but since some of y’all provoked Nora Sakavic into defending Queen Theodora Muldani and blasting y’all to dust, I don’t think I will! But who knows. It was important to me at one point, I’m just saying. More crumbs for you, eh.

Scar gets these recurring nightmares of his time on his home server. Its always the same. He wakes up back where he started, but this time, Mumbo’s with him. He’s not sure why, but they make do. The end goal, as always is to survive, to get somewhere that the undead aren’t, but Mumbo changes things. With Mumbo, Scar isn’t just surviving. He’s living again.

They set up a little shack for each other and end up finding a dog to keep them company. Scar falls in love again. Not just with Mumbo, but with the world around him. They agree that they’re going to get married some day. Mumbo admits that Scar was his first, and Scar carries that title with pride.

It’s a dream. He doesn’t know it, but it’s a dream. A beautiful, beautiful dream that feels like it lasts forever and should last forever- God, he wants it to last forever-

Mumbo goes to get some food from the garden they made outside. Out of the near seven hundred times Scar has had this dream, Mumbo has never made it out of that garden alive.

Sometimes Scar wakes up after finding him dead. Other times, he wakes up after what feels like hours of sitting there with Mumbo’s (and the zombie that killed him) corpse. It was the zombie’s fault. Scar shot him because he had to.

He had to.

When he wakes up from that hellish nightmare disguised as a dream, he always flies to Mumbo’s base. Mumbo doesn’t ask any questions- they sit with each other until Scar is fully assured that Mumbo is safe. That Mumbo can respawn if something were to happen. That something isn’t going to happen.

He hasn’t told him about it yet. How would he? ‘Hey, Mumbo, I keep having dreams where we fall in love and have sex and then you die. Isn’t that funny?’ How is he supposed to tell Mumbo about that, and how does he tell Grian about the dreams where Grian kills him with his bare hands in a cactus ring after spending months together alone in the desert?

How does he tell either of them about his weird, fucked up dreams that involve him falling in love with them, only for someone to die? And how does he bring it up when the two are clearly more than happy together in their own relationship?

…Maybe he should just go back to sleep.

sam and colby hell week review

finally sat down to write out all of my thoughts on hell week. i'm gonna break down each video, how i feel about them, rate them, and whether or not i would watch them again.

i also did one for last year so if you wanna see that, here it is.

i'm gonna also do some rankings and maybe a bit of comparison to last years, and what i would love for them to do in the future.

idk if this is gonna be super long or what, but feel free to skip around or just read the ending lol

yorktown hospital: major positives of this video - the group that snc went with. i love nate and seth, and i think all of them together works so well. i think the backstory of this place is horrendous and breaks my heart to hear about all of the terrible things that happened. what i did find funny was that this was the way snc found out that the organized religion can be sinful lol like… did they not know that the church can be corrupt, or did they know and were just surprised? either way, i thought it was kinda funny. the jump-scares throughout this video (at least in the intro/history portion) were not my favorite but it's fine. they definitely put their all into this first video, that's for sure. i think this video was the beginning of showing that snc, for some reason or another, were gonna really be hamming up their comedy bits in these videos. i'm not sure why they felt the need to really go all in on the jokes. i think for this one it was… okay? but as you'll see later in my reviews, i don't think it flies most times. and i think this is the first instance of them (sort of) being told to leave. the stuff that they caught in the chapel, both the first time and the estes method time, was very interesting and creepy. ngl, chapels/churches creep me out… idk why.

so before i started writing my review i watched two witches react to this video, and they talked about trickster spirits playing around with snc a lot in this video. and honestly, i kinda feel like that's the case in some way or another. they also pointed out that sam always go for the darker questions like "are you here to harm us", "are you evil", shit like that. and i never noticed it before until now. and this will also be the umpteenth time i say this but sam, please, for the love of god… STOP TRYING TO CONNECT EVERYTHING IN THE MOMENT.

the hallway investigation was cute, if not a bit dramatic. and the solo investigations were interesting as well. especially with nate and seth and the fogging of the camera??? that was kinda creepy. overall, while they didn't get a shit ton of evidence, i think the general vibe of the video fit well for hell week, especially the start of it.

mcraven mansion: going into this video, i wasn't exactly excited. mostly bc i wasn't happy about the collab. like, i get that they were on todd and brett's podcast, but what do they have to do with ghost hunting? this kinda feels like a last minute type of deal, like they were supposed to film with someone else but things fell thru. maybe i'm wrong about that tho lol but, surprisingly, this video was pretty okay. i didn't getting annoyed as much as i thought i was going to. this was the shortest video of hell week, and it honestly felt like it too. but at the same time, it kinda dragged a bit as well. also, i'm trying to be more open about ppl randomly being psychic around them, bc i myself also get weird feelings from time to time and i know what it's like to be seen as crazy for experiencing what i have. however, it's really hard to take ppl seriously when they say things all of sudden. especially when it comes out of no where OR they're someone that's never had a paranormal experience before. evidence wise, i don't remember them getting a whole bunch. the door opening, that was kinda spooky. the rempod going off like crazy was also pretty cool. OH THE HOURGLASS. that was very interesting. they should do that more often, especially if they feel like a place or a room is trapped in a time period. and the connection between that opened spirit box section and the tour guide... now THAT is something i would love for snc to do (when they get an editor that can just do their whole video lol) bc if they could back thru their evidence later and either connected it to some history they didn't know or what, i think that would add a whole new level to their videos. honestly, going back thru this video, i didn't realize how much i liked it. but something about it felt really rushed or weird to me. it has potential, but not enough follow-thru. also gotta add it: the phone falling out of brett's pocket was not paranormal lmao

myrtles plantation: this video, highkey, was such a let down. i think the previous two were so good, especially for beginning hell week videos, and i expected this one to be a bit more solid. i had never heard of this place, so idk how haunted or not haunted it is. but i just feel like… nothing happened. i went into the video one way and came out the other side the same. i just feel very meh about this video overall.

the tour guide was very much… a tour guide lol idk how else to describe it, but she felt like someone trying to sell you on the place being spooky. and a side tangent, how come a lot of these videos don't have outros? or like, them talking about their night stay? very strange to leave out key details like that idk. the group that they were with, nate and amanda… yeah. i guess it worked. i'm always happy to see nate. and amanda is okay occasionally. this time around she wasn't up to her usual antics so i can appreciate that.

the reenactment…. why in god's green earth did snc do that, let alone leave it in? bc fun fact, they literally had a talk with their team before the video was posted about not including it. and i would love to know why no one thought to tell them that maybe it wasn't the most respectful thing to do. not only that, but it wasn't funny. so like… 0-2 there boys. the crystal that amanda gave colby was sweet, but knowing him he's not gonna use it to actually hone in his abilities. and the evil eye bracelets don't technically protect from evil spirits, just made mojo sent to you by humans, but it can't hurt you to have it so whatever. so the investigation itself was… fine, i guess. nothing too crazy. when they split off alone, that was where it got a bit interesting. sam was terrified, which always raises a red flag in me. bc while he can be jumpy or repeating "ooooh mmmyyy goooodddd" a lot, that doesn't mean he's scared. so when he actually is, it's a bit startling to me. the estes method with nate and amanda was actually pretty cool, i think that's where a lot of the evidence they got was the most compelling. and this is also the start of colby's audio being cut off. this happens like two or three more times and it makes no sense to me. idk if it's their camera (which is very possible) or if it's the ghosts, but either way, something doesn't want their conversation with colby to be known.

and the estes method with them all tied up around amanda was weird… but not in a paranormal way lol

trans-allegheny: i liked this video a lot, both when i first watched it and rewatching to do this review. michelle was a great addition to the video. and while she was a bit jumpy, it honestly didn't bother me. i did find it funny that michelle is a badass compared to all the boys, yet she was freaked out the whole time. as for the investigation, again, this was one that fell a little flat, but i don't think it was snc's fault completely. for whatever reason, the ghosts were just not fucking around with them or their vibe. i know the hide and seek game wasn't exactly the best thing for them to do, or the hopscotch trigger event they pulled later, but i don't think they were super disrespectful to the spirits. but the voice they caught saying lily on camera and not in the evp recorder was very compelling. honestly that part was creepy as hell to me. the estes method with michelle... eh. i get she was scared, but this was the only time her jumping got a bit too much for me. also, it's interesting how whoever they were talking to didn't want them there at all. it kinda felt as if some bigger spirit wasn't allowing them to talk to who was actually there. it could be that or the spirits for whatever reason felt disrespected by them.

the hopscotch thing was.......... a thing. why do i have a sneaking suspicion that sam came up with this trigger event lol the hide and seek game was an interesting concept, i guess. props to michelle for hiding bc i would have said absolutely fuck no baby to snc. that voice box that they used towards the end was somehow way creepier than anything else in the video. i think cutting out the radio static makes whatever voices that do come thru all the more scarier. overall, while this video did feel like a filler, i wasn't upset about it. i think it was right on the line of fully fun investigation and filler.

old washoe club: so by this point in hell week, i want the scariest, the creepiest, the overall terrifying-est videos snc can give us. halloween is approaching and i want to be spooked. and this video was… not that. i said earlier it was a bit of grower on me, and i can see myself liking it later down the line. and i do think that's the case to some degree. like i said earlier, i watched two witches react to their videos, and this was one of them. so now watching it for a third time just to do this review is not exactly sitting well with me since i still have the same reactions as i did before.

the place itself, honestly, doesn't seem haunted to me. maybe residual energy, sure, but nothing actually demonic or scary. or so i thought for the most part. when kris got scratched, that was really freaky. part of me is bit skeptical, bc i feel like it could have been her (bc snc saying "oh she can't even reach that part" is not believable to me lol all she had to do was stand up straight and i'm sure she could have) but i'll take their word for it that it wasn't her and it was something there that did that. i'm surprised at how well composed she was for this entire video. honestly, when she's not around celina, she does better with paranormal in my opinion. that's not a rag on celina, just an observation i have lol

i will say the only two places that gave me bad vibes was the crypt and the red room. the crypt was pretty weird, and the flashlight literally moving, plus turning on and off like four times while doing so, was very intriguing. and of course it would pick colby. but what i thought was interesting was that, yet again, the audio for him cut out. part of me, again, thinks it might be the camera. i know they have two nightvision cameras, so i wonder if one of them is busted. but then another part of me is like "they've used both before in other videos (literally even the previous one) and it didn't glitch on them that time so… what gives?" but i think my favorite part of the whole video was colby saying "i felt an innocent presence with me". now THAT'S the shit i'm talking about !!! seriously, colby does stuff like that, and it just makes me more excited to see his path going forward with the paranormal.

as for the rest of the video, it was fine. the trigger event this time around didn't feel insulting, so that's nice i guess. and personally, i'm starting to think that little kid spirits just don't exist. nothing they were getting on the spirit box/ovilus was child related. the sls stuff they got was kinda interesting, but also just felt like a glitch to me. but they should pull out that device more often. i think the crystal ball part was a bit… obtuse? like, i get it. they want to do something to open up their psychic abilities, but… maybe read up on it more and not just go out and buy a crystal ball lol and kris standing in that room by herself - props to her. you can just tell she was freaking out and was scared out of her mind. but she remanded decently calm.

bell witch cave: i'm gonna say what everyone else is thinking - this should have been the finale. at least, it feels like a finale type of video to me. nonetheless, i think this was their best investigation by far. i think it was on par with the conjuring which is why it also felt like it should have been the finale. the team they were with - fantastic. love the four of them. i think collectively snc always get the craziest stuff with seth and josh (minus the pine barrens which i think is snc's worst video to date, tied with crescent hotel, but feel free to disagree). also, just noticed this now rewatching it, but when they're in the cabin and snc tell josh and seth that they plan to not use equipment first, josh and seth tell them they call that "quiet-game shit" which... is highkey hilarious for some reason lol so the knocking, while it is pretty scary (and probably scarier in the moment), i always wonder if it's just the old ass houses they are in doing that. it's hard for me to wrap my head around a spirit being so strong enough to kill a man, but not strong enough to appear and speak, but instead resorts to knocks? idk. but regardless, i think them being freaked out is what freaked me out the most. bc you can tell when they're all genuinely scared versus hamming it up for the cameras.

but i have to note, that colby saying "in 2021, when we did queen mary, it almost feels like time didn't even go by at all and we're in like the ship for some reason." ....can someone check on him? please? bc that's a bit concerning. but also i need him to elaborate on that thought. do you mean that time feels a bit frozen to you? or was it just in the queen mary itself? or is it even now? bc all of those questions don't exactly lead to the same conclusions.

them using an actual witch to cleanse themselves.... round of applause for finally doing what we've been telling you for FUCKING YEARS TO DO. the onvoy glitching a bunch was pretty interesting, but i still have some issues with that device. but either way, it was confusing as to why that was happening. the cave itself was very spooky. something about this was way more creepier than even the catacombs they went to last year. something about the energy of that place is off. all of them going in and taking polaroids was actually a pretty interesting idea. and i think the execution was awesome and kinda terrifying. the fact that the camera just wasn't taking pics of colby..... immediate chills for me. also sam being that scared, again, spooks me more just bc of how serious he gets. both of their polaroids were weird as hell. it honestly looks like to me that there's a figure behind colby, but it's hard to tell bc of how warped the pic became. seth and josh hearings voices was freaky too. and you could tell they were legitimately scared by them. but i find it interesting that seth and josh's photos weren't all that weird looking. the final part was a bit all over the place, again - probably bc sam likes to connect everything together in the moment instead of just... letting it happen naturally, but i think the conclusion was overall pretty well.

winchester mystery house: i think a lot of us were kinda going into this video not excited, bc we know the dynamic kris and celina have. i know i wasn't excited about this video, and especially bc it got uploaded so late that it basically was on halloween, so i wanted something scary. conjuring level.

that's not what we got, but i was pleasantly surprised by this video.

but i do gotta talk about the negatives: the medium, the one present with them, was… idk. something about her felt fake. sorry. especially when she honed in on celina and said "oh you see dead ppl" which like…. what a convo starter. also telling her she needs to love herself and see herself the way others do or whatever. that was sweet, i'll give you that. but like, maybe don't include in the video, boys. it's not connected to the investigation so move it along.

the guides this time weren't as annoying as the last time, if i remember correctly. they didn't seem to be trying to get you to believe the place is haunted, just that there have been some strange stuff going on. i will say tho, this house to me has not a single spirit in it. idk what it is, but nothing about this house feels haunted at all. it feels peaceful in a way, but not haunted. also when they talk about the doors that lead to no where or the stairs that do that, all i can think is there was an earthquake there. shit that once existed does not anymore. maybe that's why shit doesn't make sense layout wise. especially the one door that leads to the outside. clearly there used to be a deck there that isn't there now.

i think this time around the empathy that they have for sarah is a really nice change of pace. i don't think last time they were disrespectful, more so that they just believed that hype of the legend of her being a crazy woman.

the numerology, while i know some of you don't believe it, is what (to me) saved this video from being ass. i think regardless of how you feel about it, it's very intriguing to see how the numbers relate to snc. kris and celina's, gonna be honest, i don't know them well enough to really say one way or another. but snc's numbers are the most interesting to me. so sam's being the guide makes perfect sense, i think. would i say he's colby's guide? maybe yes maybe no. i think sam definitely helps colby a lot figure out what he truly wants to do and has directed him down a really good path in life. i think they mesh well together in a lot of ways. and i think sam's more logical/cynical side gets balanced out by colby's more positive/dream-like side. sam said it once before, that his favorite attribute about colby is his smile bc he always just makes everyone else happy and that is 1000% RIGHT. as for colby's number, i mean… is it suprising to anyone? seriously, i recommend you read up on number 11s and see how much really connects with colby bc highkey some are just spot on.

but back to the investigation portion - while i don't know how much i believe in celina's abilities, i do think she definitely feels things regardless. and that in itself kinda proves she has some ability. i think evidence wise, they didn't catch all that much. the voice they heard, them seeing things possibly, celina following who she thought was sarah… it was sort of compelling, sort of meh. again, the thing that stood out to me was the numerology stuff.

and as for them going thru the house on their own, the audio cutting off on colby AGAIN is insane to me. how is that possible??? and sam being fucking terrified for some reason was really strange to me. his spirits were high all night, but the moment he thought he saw something, he was about ready to shit himself. i'm concerned for him and the way he jumps from borderline cold towards the paranormal to scared shitless. he should really work on finding a middle ground and centering himself when he does get scared.

wouldn't you believe it: i'm basically giving the same rating to hell week as i did last year. bc i realized this half-way thru hell week - both seasons of hell week are like any other season of snc. they just give it a better title. bc think about it, take last year's hell week. everyone i've come across has said that last years was so much better. if that's the case, take out the conjuring finale….. is it really better than what we got this year? bc i don't think so. i think both are on par with one another. hell technically, i did the average score for both hell weeks and this one ranked higher, but by like .01 percent. so that's what i mean. both hell weeks are fine. but they aren't spectacular. snc have a better chance of filming a one off scary-ass video than they do planning to film a scary video.

to quote myself from an ask not too long ago: i honestly feel like both hell weeks were average at best. the only reason the first one felt crazy was bc it was first. also, snc hadn’t been doing all paranormal last year. they started 2021 out with 25x25, then stopped bc it wasn’t gaining views, did paranormal for a hot minute, went to chernobyl, and then did hell week. there had been a long enough pause between content, and i think them going back to the conjuring, alone, added to hell week feeling special. but in reality… it was basically the precursor to what they ended up doing this year. it just felt cooler back then.

here are some things that i would love for snc to do in the future, for both hell week and any other seasons they plan to do:

please, for the love of god, stop freaking out so much. take it down even one notch, and i swear the content will be better.

sam, stop talking over every estes method. stop trying to connect everything WHILE it's happening. do that later, or when the estes method is over.

colby, go to a psychic or witch or something and start reading up on your abilities. i NEED you to be more empathic lol

do at least one investigation per season solo. if you want someone with you in the beginning, sure. but go alone, with just the two of you. bc that content is fire regardless of what you get.

use the sls camera more.

if you can find a way to let us hear what the spirit box is saying during an estes method, that would be awesome.

find a way to go back thru videos after you've filmed them and see if things are connected that you didn't realize before.

maybe tone down the hyping up of every video bc then it ends up being a let down when it isn't the best

if you do hell week again, you gotta post the videos from creepiest to scariest bc otherwise it just ends up feeling a bit mish-mashed

there's probably other stuff i could add, but i'll just let them focus on this lol (as if they'll ever see it)

i genuinely enjoyed hell week, and i'm excited to see what the future holds for snc. i don't see them getting worse, so everything can only go up from here.

Yes the chalex was in fact timeloop asdf. Executive decision therefore all will be about rbr!oscar. Heads up that I originally plotted that back in August last year and I have been rewriting it on and off for the past few weeks so everything is very stc and under heavy construction

5. Is there any scene you're excited about writing? I am making Logan and Oscar go on a road trip at one point! Genuinely one of my favorite parts of the fic and one of the few if not the only one that has so far survived the carnage that the doc is currently going through.

Important lore but is the fact that here, Logan never did F1 (or at least is now racing in Indy) so he is US based unlike Oscar over in the UK. So original plan was Logan to take Oscar on a road trip through the US to get his mind off of the season but the fic has been getting less depressing through rewrites so I might move it to Europe. Because I know it better lol. But yes, a road trip

7. What are your plans for Oscar? Oscar initially had a very messy and not well planned character arc that felt like I have been putting him through shit constantly and his character is the primary reason why I am replotting so much of it.

The original idea was uh... well look at what happened to the other two Aussies in Red Bull so far haha. But with timeloop where the ghost of Max Verstappen hangs over everything I am not particularly too fond of writing a fic where his ghost hangs over everything again. I need variety. Also idk how I feel writing Red Bull heavy fic rn so things will have to change on that front.

But the current plan is to stick him in a Red Bull for 2025 and have him face the fact that he no longer has a teammate that he gets along with like a house on fire and the idea of adjusting to a very different team from McLaren. But he is still an Aussie in a Red Bull. Some suffering will be required (affectionate)

10. If unpublished, can you show a sneak peek of what you've written? I am lowkey not happy with anything from it cause it is from a time when I was still super rusty but this has survived the carnage so far and will probably survive. Important context is that originally, this took place over the winter break but timelines might be condensed and this might be summer break instead

He spends Christmas in Australia with his family. During the limbo week between then and New Years he flies to America. Despite flying first class, he still doesn't sleep on the plane and feels like collapsing when he finally gets to Miami. He is coherent just enough to pick up his luggage and find Logan in arrivals but not much more. The hug they share can barely pass off as friendly but hey, Oscar is exhausted, it's a reasonable excuse. It’s on the correct side of too friendly in this context. When they get to Logan's apartment, Oscar manages to take a quick shower before collapsing to bed. He doesn't even bother to check which bed in which room, Logan would tell him if he minded. So he doesn’t give it any more thought and lets himself fall asleep, exhaustion finally winning. He wakes up to see the room bathed in the golden light of a sunset, slightly confused before he realizes where he is. Right, he's in Florida, at Logan's place. He looks around, properly studies the room now that he doesn't feel like collapsing again.

First off all when I finally went to sleep two days ago suddenly my "dad" came in and told me "mom" is coming soon so I barely got 2h of sleep. Then ofc she just had to pretend she cares. She gave me some sweets for children's day (and bottle of advocaat mmmm yes children's day yum) honestly I'm surprised she bought stuff I like and not some random shit she thinks I like as always and wanted to take me and her husband's son out for pizza and to play tennis or something. Idk why. Maybe she thinks that after abusing me for my whole life she can make me forget about it if she gives me some gift and asks once in a while how I'm doing.

Then next day I stayed up writing and drawing too long again and when I wanted to go to sleep "dad" says my cat gave birth in shed at night. Yet another cat's birth I couldn't be at. I borrowed one of my catbeds to my "aunt" and since I didn't have anywhere to put them in I went out to my old house to collect it.

I walked dehydrated in sun, slightly sleep deprived with my whole body shaking and hurting a lot just to see her in outside (???) clothes and for her to say "she wanted to bring it but my dad hung up on her before she could say it" I pet all of her cats including the my own that ran away (idk if it's bc he's sick and wants to be in old house in case he's about to die or for no reason at all cats sometimes act odd). I went back and when we finally could move her inside.

She acted normal while in shed nursing both her kittens that were alive and seemingly healthy but when we moved her inside the house she didn't want to stay. She left kittens alone in catbed and was just standing at the door to let her out. "Dad" told me to just move her back to shed but I know it's probably a bad idea. There were flies flying around them (I didn't find any eggs or larvae on them thank fuck), rats and chickens have easy access here (I saw them chase adult cats, they didn't do anything yet but newborn kittens would be easy food for them if she left them unattended and I don't want to risk it happen), also chicken droppings, shed is generally not clean and previosuly mentioned flies. She also not a good mom and she should be watched while she's near kittens last time she squashed one of them with her own body and leaved them unattended. I'm surprised but glad that she at least cleans them. When I told him that we can't leave her there he just laughed at me and said he doen't care and they'll be fine. For some reason he favors one of my cats over the others even his own one, he spoils her, lets her do anything she wants even walking on the table but he shoos away and sometimes even yells at rest for wanting to lie on him or sit near the table and ask for food he's eating (not even actually stealing the food or trying to just them sitting there annoys him)

When I left her inside the house and finally went to sleep I slept for 9 FUCKING HOURS (it's bad for me to sleep long) I like half and hour before midnight I wanted to get up but I was lying in the same position the whole time so my leg was hurting too much for me to get up so I turned to other side for 3h. When I went to get breakfast (is it breakfast when it's almost 3am? idk) I saw that door was opened in room where I kept them. They weren't there. That fucking bastard probably moved to shed despite what I was saying before. I say probably since I can't even go and check on her. My body shakes and hurts too much for me, it's hard to get inside even when you're healthy, I don't want to risk falling down the stairs like I almost did multiple times in the past. I can't pet her or see if they're even in there bc of him.

I know I should get her spayed, I couldn't do it the first time bc it's really expensive no matter where I looked, luckily not long ago place where I live offers to cover half the price and I'll take her to get it done, I just need to talk with "mom's" husband so he can drive me there (it's pretty far to get by bus and I've never been there so I just know I'd get lost)

On top of that my friend leaves me on read despite her saying to write more, idk why I'm really worried about her. I hope her bf didn't somehow find out she ratted him out to me for being abusive asshole and just bc she's tired or wanted to write back later and forgot
