I will listen to the people I love rant about their favorite things, but I do not care beyond that. I don’t look up the things because I don’t want that shit ending up in my feed, I don’t scour mutuals’ pages for their interests to show support because I don’t give a fuck it’s my brain, and I will not be bothered to reblog what didn’t make me laugh or highly resonated with me, nor will I like the beginner art.

I don’t have the energy to be insincerely overly invested in shit that isn’t related to my favorite people. If my friend was ranting to me about Arcane or FNAF, I would listen attentively and respond, but you are hilarious if you think I’m watching Arcane, just because people like it and want me to like it.

I was wondering what it would look like if I were to try and make a horror-esq game about derealization, from my own perspective as someone who's suffered from it since adolescence; unfortunately though, I am not a good enough writer at all to know how to even convey it correctly and in a way that can create unease and fear and doubt in oneself. Especially because my perspective is that I am essentially a puppet in a fake show set, and my true self is just trying to entertain itself and learn about itself through this world. How the fuck do I establish that without someone who doesn't experience this and who doesn't understand the doubt of your sanity saying "this is sooooo unrealistic!"
