I also have a second version of Frank having a skunk stripe too! The idea of Frank having a stripe in his hair grew on me after drawing the Coraline AU Frank so many times!

I think it would be adorable if Frankula had the ability to shape-shift into a bat, I drew Frank as a cat for my Coraline crossover—a grumpy one to say the least—before! If I do decide to draw him as a bat, I’m giving him the eyebrows and the lidded eyes! But most importantly the frown!❤️

I don't know the rules for art requests so I'm hoping if I do this wrong you'll just ignore this message. I really, really like your Dead Boy Detectives art and I've been following it since the first comic with the soul orbs. I also like your different AUs and crossovers.

Could you write/draw a comic where Doom Patrol Charles meets Reverse Verse Charles? I think that could be interesting because those are the two versions of Charles who admit they're in love with Edwin, but also those two are on opposite ends of the emotional stability scale. That's probably not a good word for it-- what I mean is that DP-Charles seems comfortable with himself while RV-Charles thinks he's an absolutely terrible person, and RV-Charles is kind of manipulative at times while DP-Charles seems to be aware of others' feelings and gives them space.

Also, I think RV-Edwin and DP-Edwin might enjoy sassing each other too much.

No rules, just a lot of patience! Reading your comments always makes me happy, so I made this little thing very quickly :) I'm sure there's a lot of fun interactions for them to have, but it might take me a while to come up with more stuff.

I don't think DP!Charles has advice for RV!Charles... after all, they're kind of in the same boat. But maybe he can teach him a thing or two about giving Edwin time and space? I would love the see everyone's thoughts, because this seems like it could be a fun dynamic.

[regarding my fankid au, I've just been thinking about it reversed for Zosan lmao]

Just saying, if Sanji was the one who got pregnant, he would have had a MUCH tougher time. More because of his own family trauma. He would want to keep the baby, but this decision would take multiple days, maybe even a couple weeks, as opposed to Zoro's decision that took the whole evening. Yes Sanji has already preplanned his hypothetical family out but it's happening MUCH earlier than he anticipated and with someone he's still grappling with the concept of liking/loving PLUS his sexuality. There's going to be the fear of his baby coming out like his brothers, the fear of his baby hating him, the fear of turning into Judge, ect ect ect. He's going to struggle A LOT, physically but mostly mentally. Unlike Zoro who struggled the most physically, but did struggle quite a bit mentally postpartum but that was more due to dysphoria.

#also i dont think their kids would even be the same lmao #yeah zoro's genetics are still gonna win for the most part #but right off the bat sanji is gonna have either twin or triplet boys #you know. to torment him.#i am a writer and sanji is my barbie #if anyone wants i can like design these kids too lol #in this version of the au i think theyd have one more kid after the triplets #a little girl with only a 5-7 year age gap from the boys #this au would transmasc sanji cis male zoro btw lol #one piece #roronoa zoro #vinsmoke sanji #black leg sanji #zosan #zoro x sanji #one piece fankid

So do you guys actually think that Jason's entire story, relationship to the others, and philosophy amounts to him being a rebellious teen who wants his dad's attention? Like are you 100% serious? I thought you were joking about that but too many of you are saying it with your whole chest.

And what the fuck is this "Bruce antagonizing Jason is fanon!" Shit I've been seeing? You guys are aware that a parent can love their kid and still be a shit parent right? I know you guys don't want to fathom the thought that maybe your blorbo might also occasionally have to face responsibility for consistently endangering children but let's not start being delusional now.

Bruce does love his kids, that doesn't mean that he hasn't hurt them. And I'd also argue that for the most part he feels in the right for it, and he's said multiple times that he believes it's for their own good, so you can't even argue that he's sorry about it. It's okay for you guys to admit that your PERSONAL INTERPRETATION of the character wouldn't do that but don't sit here and pretend that it's not a facet of the source.

#you can argue meta until you're blue in the face #but I can't ignore the ingerent abuse of Batman and Robin because DC is always drawing attention to it #Stephanie and Jason directly died because of Robin #Stephanie wanted to impress Bruce to live up to his idea of a sidekick and prove her worth #Sheila only sold Jason out when she found out he was Robin #Damians life certainly got worse when he became Robin/moved with Bruce #if you bring up racist retcons I'll kill you btw #how are we supposed to read children dying and being tortured and traumatized constantly #and just ignore that these are children #I can ignore the reality of child sidekicks in campy light hearted early comics #but if DC wants to deal with serious topic they're going to have to deal with some serious implications too #Also that post that's going around about “Bruce loves Jason and it's Jason who's causing all the animosity” is such bullshit #what the fuck are you even talking about #and let's not act like Jason is the ONLY one at fault and Bruce is just a poor loving father #is Bruce spreading that utter bullshit about Jason's death and who he was not an act of violence?#was he not the one to cast the first stone by disgracing Jason's legacy and using a version of him that never existed as a cautionary tale #and I know some of you are going to argue that with most of the kids there's nothing Bruce could have done to stop them #and this is the one time in which I will ignore all the very real ways that he could have #but I still think that in universe the characters have a right to be angry about it #Jason always since his debut as red hood been a vehicle for calling out Bruce #he's so heavily steeped in meta narrative because his run is when they started dealing with the real BAD cases #The Cult Garzonas onscreen murders were getting more common #AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME THAT BEING ROBIN DIDN'T MAKE JASON'S LIFE WORSE #THERE WAS NO REASON TO MAKE HIM ROBIN HE COULD HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY AS JUST A NORMAL KID #But Bruce made having a place in his home synonymous with being Robin because the narrative dictated it had to be #what was homeless orphan Jason going to do? say no?#it was basically coercion and it doomed him and he has every right to blame the adult that put him in that position #dc #bruce wayne critical #bat family

one other thing that really makes me roll my eyes in dc fics is the insistence that the bats can take down anyone, even their most op teammates. like... you guys know a character doesn't have to be the most physically capable one in the room in order to be interesting or strong in their own right, right? look me in the eye. cass had to save tim from shrike. bane broke bruce's back. mind-controlled kon snapped tim's arm like a twig. trying to make them ~always~ able to counter even the most powerful opponents is so boring im sorry like they can and do lose fights sometimes, and that's interesting actually. they are all incredibly competent martial artists, yes! that doesn't mean they can win every single matchup. that's simply neither the point of nor the strength in their characters.

#like ppl who insist that tim could solo the rest of core four #or that bruce could solo the jl. etc #look me in the eye and tell me that this regular human man (any of them) could beat starfire in a fight.#of course there's elements such as strategy and traps and knowing the environs etc etc #but overall just like. as a general concept. so goddamn annoying #im sure canon does this sometimes too but like. the way the fanon version makes non-bat characters look so stupid...#sorry i just remembered some fic that had a throwaway line like oh of course tim could take kon in an actual fight--#like what do you mean of course. no the fuck he couldn't. tim is some guy. kon is an invulnerable telekinetic alien. i hate you people #he doesn't have to be able to win every single fight in order to be interesting or competent!!!
