okay little disclaimer I have no art of them that im proud of and the characters make no sense because they're from when I was 9-12. anyways

MAIN CHARACTER Piper! So, in the story, there's magic that some people have. you can teach yourself, but some people are already naturally skilled. piper isn't either of these. she wasn't skilled and when she tried teaching herself, she failed. really bad. she didn't even care about magic, she just wanted people to be proud of her......shes my little sopping wet cat.

Aruna! Aruna is one friend of Piper. She specialized in more dark magic. people would think that she was smart and mysterious, but she was just sorta quiet. kind of person that keeps to herself and then is really open when you're close :]

Sól! another friend of Piper. acts happy and stuff, optimistic to a fault at times. he specialized in light magic and healing. he's seen as the dumbest in the group and it gets to him.

all three of them are somewhere in their mid to late 20s...I think i'd say around 26 or 27. all knew each other as kids and grew up together.

and I think I brought up mischief, malice, and mayhem? anyways, they're side characters. just these three kids, pulling pranks and stuff. probably stuck to each other like piper, sól, and aruna did at their age. they're treated like problem kids, but no one does anything to help them for a while, making them act out even more. a lot of stuff still isn't clear for me yet, but I think maybe piper would be reminded of herself and her friends, and she'd try treating them right....the kids stay chaotic, but they'd at least be treated right. I really need to do more with them.....

Those of you who are Polish or linguistically similar (Czech, idk what more) probably noticed, but Boromir would be a perfectly legit Medieval Polish (Slavic in general?) name, meaning more or less "peace in the forest". Faramir is a bit trickier and needs some anachronism, but "fara" is a type of a church, so "peace in the church", or to make it more setting-appropriate, "peace in the hall".

Let's translate those back to Sindarin using that one instruction for name-making. So, as the wise the dictionary says:

forest = taur hall = There's nothing I can find in sindarin, for etymological reasons let's go with gobel which is walled town / house, makes sense in the context peace = îdh

Surprisingly there's nothing to tweak according to the instruction, so Taurídh and his younger brother Gobelídh (both sound so dumb…)

In "Masters and Students" Starscream digs up Skyquake, who was like. Left in a pod as an Emergency Backup Decepticon.

But I wish the big bot Starscream dug up had been Skyfire. (They were still old friends but Skyfire went missing when Starscream wasn't around. And he was stuck under the ice due to an accident, just like in G1.)

And from there it could either play out like the G1 episode "Fire in the Sky" OR maybe Starscream does convince Skyfire to continue helping him based on their old friendship, even though Skyfire is visibly uncomfortable with violence. And it could have a tragic ending like Skyfire dies when he can't bring himself to harm Agent Fowler. (Maybe he's about to smash through Fowler's flimsy human jet like Starscream asked him to, but at the last moment Skyfire swerves away and slams into a mountain as a result.)

I think on this fine Saturday afternoon it's a good opportunity to take a breather and remember that there are really no ethical paparazzi pictures. Every single one is inherently exploitative.

Just because photos were taken on a movie set, when someone is 'working,' does not make the practice any less invasive and creepy. Imagine just going about your day, doing your job and having some weirdo snapping pictures of you to sell without your consent for others to endlessly repost online.

There are thousands of pictures of your favourite actor online already. Plenty taken with his knowledge and consent. I'd really like to see more of them on my dash, rather than the creeper shots.

And don't get me started how disseminating these pictures directly leads to people going to said sets. What starts off as admiring how good someone looks has real world implications.

No, hanging around a movie set and disrupting people doing their jobs is not harmless fun or a way to show your appreciation.

If you hang around a movie set, you are a stalker.

Don't tell me that it's okay to take your online admiration for someone offline. You may admire him but he does not, and will never, personally know you. He will never be your friend/boyfriend/daddy. He is a stranger.

The only way meeting your favourite actor is going to happen is at a convention or maaaaaybe a movie premiere if you're incredibly fortunate. You know, places they appear specifically to meet fans (or not in the case of premieres, where the purpose is to promote a movie. Which is also completely understandable if actors don't stop. You are not owed an interaction).

Of course, you cannot help it if you randomly run into someone you admire in the wild. Even then, consider that they probably won't be all too thrilled to be approached in public by a complete stranger. It's up to you to gauge the situation, but remember there is a person at the heart of all of this.

Boundaries and respect are a kindness which deserves to be extended to each and every human being regardless of their looks/talent/fame/wealth.

Fandoms blur those lines a little too often for my liking and I think just scrutinising what you're interacting with, or what behaviour you could be possibly falling down that slippery slope towards is nice to do every once in a while.

I mean no malice with this post and it is not directed at anyone in particular. It's something I cannot help but feel strongly about because I've seen this destructive cycle time and again in fandoms over the years. It's not healthy and it makes us all a little bit more disconnected from our humanity for it...

im watching a retrospective about Majora's Masks dungeon progression and realizing a little more every time he says "this game took a lot of very brave steps out to not be ocarina of time" that my disappointment with totk isn't out of place. I've been told "it's breath of the wild 2, why did you expect it to be different?" but like.. it's it's own game. why is it the exact same but with an arguably worse iteration of the story?

n*loth not being able to bag anyone over the (human term) age of 25-30 at most is the only logical and real conclusion to me because it can be just explained away as him wanting to prove and control everything and anyone (Cus he's a man!) but being stuck in that demographic because his unbearable and vile personality is a force that nobody can look past once they've outgrown the possible fear and idolization period of anyone but also n*loth in particular.

mcsrtober. im not as proud of my mcsrtober because i like editing things over and over and over again and mcsrtober simply doesnt allow the time for that. however i think i cooked really hard on some of the prompts and the ones yet to come (peepocute banger one on the 26th i think). like day 2. a full-on 4+1 fic. beautiful

there's a lot to come, i think. theres so many thoughts and not enough time to express them, and im only going to get more and more busy from now on. it's going to be walright. you know, theres a cool thing called a winter big bang, and the word count is projected to be around 18k...and its a oneshot...........................

then i can retire from writing longfics in one go and go back to chaptered becuase WOW chaptered is easier. AHHHHHHH

My baby sister has heard of bnha and apparently watched some clips but only some tidbits from the 6th season (mainly the fight with Nagant, who is her favorite) And she very confidently told me that she knows all about keigo, who is hawks. I asked if he knew who dabi has, and she rolled her eyes and told me that yes, she knows he's touya, and that he used to be friends with keigo as kids!

She was very confused when I told her that... no, they weren't. They didn't know each other until adulthood. She insisted that she'd seen a video of them as kids together. I told her it was probably a fan animation, because a lot of people thought Dabi and Hawks knew each other as kids, since Dabi was the only one who knew hawks' real name. But it turned out he just tracked his mom down in secret. She insists that this is stupid, once again confirming that the "dabihawks secret childhood friends/rivals" theory is the only time fanon has ever been better than canon.
