This is just a Lil LU art dump and a Lil thing I did for an art challenge that was posted a while back :'>

It was smth about putting the chain and some fandoms in a wheel randomizer and drawing them together. I ended up with Wild and ace attorney :D

Tried @theladyofrosewater 's challenge!

I got Wind and the book series Unwind Mini backstory below for fun:

Ok I absolutely love the unwind series so while drawing I though slightly of the backing story.

After a serious accident resulting in the lost of his immediate family and a visible repair of his leg, he gets passed into becoming government property some weeks later. Not wanting to die he escapes and goes AWOL during a transfer to the harvest camp.

Not sure how the others would play a role in this.

Linked Universe FNAF au!

Hyrule is now in a modern day era, or close to it at this point. They have all sorts of machinery and technologies that are way past the time if BOTW (they also have corporate greed :DD)

No evil force has fallen over the land in centuries, leaving most of the land’s residents to believe that all the stories of chosen heroes were just myths

A struggling business/company uncovers a handful of Ancient relics���. Each one having been the property/cherished item of a mythical hero.

And for some reason, a bit of the heroes soul is stuck to the relic.

Fascinated and seeing the opportunity to save their business, the company tried to sell the relics. But no one would buy them, too scared of the Implications or just not believing the story

So, they obviously made the very logical leap of opening an Animatronic/robot restaurant based off these heroes of old :D

Using the relics with bits of the heroes souls in them, they forced/shifted the soul into the new metal body! They wanted to make the heroes as accurate as they could to their legends, but without putting any work into it!

When the souls possessed the robotic bodies, not only did it bring the robots to life but it also gave a sense of realism to them.

The memories of the heroes were now in these robotic cages. Letting their personalities and experiences shine through!

Each of the chain had their own purpose in the restaurant (if yall want, ill talk about this later ;D) which along side their lively ness and personality, brought in a lot of tourists and customers!

You might be asking, how are the boys so calm about this? Well, they arent! The company had found a way to control the souls within their suits.

Magic stones/sigils are all over the restaurant, being Disguised as decoration for the restaurants theme! They glow during the working hours, forcing the souls to let their robot bodies do all the moving/action.

But, these sigils are turned off during the night. They have to recharge so they can keep going the next morning, what does this mean the boys souls? Well, they get a little quirky at night!

This is where the night guard comes in! They were hired to watch over the boys to make sure they don’t try to escape, or destroy themselves!

The chain does try to attack/kill the night guard, seeing as their the only thing keeping them stuck in the restaurant.

My thoughts on the Mimic

I personally think that the Mimic is just wasted potential. At first, it seemed like it was it's own thing, completely unrelated to Glitchtrap. But when that revelation in SB: Ruin dropped, I just began to hate it.

If I'm gonna be honest, I think the concept of the mimic could have worked if they had not made it an explanation for Glitchtrap. Like, what if the Mimic was a tragic character?

Think about it. An endoskeleton that was programmed to act and seem more human compared to any other. One that can easily interact with children and adults, one that expresses and has emotions and complex thoughts. An endoskeleton that isn't restricted in terms of movement. One that makes the character suit its wearing seem less creepy and more relatable.

One that, on one faithful day, believes that it's a human wearing a costume.

And on that faithful day, while it's backstage or something, decides to take off the shell and see the human it thinks itself to be.

Only to see a metal skeleton staring back in the mirror.

As it removes more of its shell, and sees more of the endoskeleton underneath, it begins to question what it is. Essentially, the endoskeleton is beginning to have an existential crisis. If it really is just a robot, are any of its thoughts real? Are any of its emotions real? Was this feeling of dread and queasiness in it's stomach... or body real? Was anything about itself real?

Then, it gets worse for the endo. When the company realizes that its gone buggy, not acting as it normally should, they decide to throw it out.

Left in the dump to rot.

There, everything begins to crash down for the endo, fully realizing what it really is. It's nothing. Just another robot that can be easily disposed of. None of its emotions or thoughts are real, it's just part of its programming. This feeling of dread and terror isn't real, the expression on its face is nothing but numbers and codes telling its robotic eyebrows how to move. It just thinks it's feeling depressed, it's all just an illusion due to its programming.

How is its expression and feelings any different from another endoskeleton moving after the flick of a switch?

Nobody is going to care if its gone, why should they? The company can just stuff another endoskeleton into the character suit, it'll be like nothing ever happened. It doesn't matter. Nobody is going to care about some crappy endoskeleton curling into a ball in an empty dumpster. Even if it hadn't realized what it was, it was still going to be thrown out. When the best big technological innovation came about, it was bound to be replaced.

However, some part of itself wants to believe that it has a place in the world. Despite being made out of cold metal, there's still one little spark of hope entangled in its wires. Maybe, there's still a chance it can be something, someone.

It doesn't want to be another forgettable robot, even if these emotions aren't real. Maybe, it can erase itself and become something else through mimicking others around it. Humans are real, robots aren't. So maybe mimicking humans and what makes them human will make it real!

Deep down, it knows that it won't work out, but is it so bad to try? To believe? To have a small glimmer of hope like humans in the darkest of times?

As @/theladyofrosewater kindly pointed out Garroths funky lil line that I was basing a lot of my divine warrior nonsense on is "by the seven" and NOT "by the nine" as I had previously thought (s1 ep22 3:34)

I very genuinely have no idea why I was convinced it was "by the nine"

I'm gonna choose to continue doing what I'm doing bc a. I'm already p much done and b. the lore in regards to the Jo9 fits better in my head + I like it more, but I felt the need to issue a formal apology for not checking my facts first /hj
