i meant to post this yesterday but when i saw my sister yesterday she was wearing the shirt i made her in 2019 for her college graduation present !!!! here’s a pic from when i finished it

its this cute little windowpane check linen tunic with a contrast light green patch pocket & i matched the bias tape…. i always forget i can sew! and the top stitching on the pocket was so neat when i looked at it yesterday too! i’m so touched that she still has it & it’s holding up & looking good. i should make more clothes

#it’s the only garment i’ve EVER finished so it’s nice that she still wears it #i made a bag for her as part of the gift too i wonder if she still has that #that was an oilcloth with leather straps. rivets & brass hardware and everything #i did it in like four hours because i was fucking PRESSED for time. that was a merchant & mills pattern iirc #not the tunic that was somebody else. can’t remember rn it was a long time ago #this was when i worked at the fabric store so it was very easy to both use their space and have a handle on things #i’m out of the loop now #photo record #chatpost #um. should i put it in my art tag. i did make this #don’t i have a crafts tag too? idk #crafts tag

It's a shame Misako's writing in the first few seasons was dogshit, bc she has one of the coolest concepts for a character I can think of

Like, she's a mortal woman who fell in love with a ~1000 year old demigod who has been cursed to fall to evil since he was a child, and her son is the chosen one destined to face her husband, his own father, in a duel to the death that will decide the fate of the world, and when she learns about her son's fate, she tries to find a way around destiny.

That's such a cool idea for a character!!!

But then the writers decided to take this super interesting idea for a character, and only use her for exposition and a shitty love triangle between her husband of several decades and his brother.

I'd say I haven't seen a character with such good potential be so wasted by the show their in since Adrien Agreste, but at least his bad writing hasn't made him the punching bag for 95% of the ML fandom

my fellow anxiety havers what is one of your mundane day-to-day tasks that should by no means be anything remarkable but feels like you are being hunted for sport. i’ll go first: putting all of your groceries on the conveyor belt during checkout is like a long series of quick time events to me

#marzi speaks #it’s bc like. you have a cart Full of groceries #there is a cashier looking to scan the groceries #there is (often) a bagger looking to bag the groceries and put them back in your cart #goal: get as many groceries onto that belt as fast as possible #REMEMBER: heaviest items go first so that nothing gets crushed when the bagger puts the groceries back in your cart #it is so stressful. move so fast ‘which of these items is gonna be heavier’ getting to the end and realizing you missed like 3 cans…#it’s even worse if there are ppl behind you. i live in texas so i can at least make socially acceptable conversation with the cashier #EXCEPT i’m already way overthinking the conveyor belt situation. i’m already frazzled #and now i gotta do small talk? oh god #on the bright side i am so fast at it it’s insane. i move faster than the cashier can keep up with #which is A Good Thing. bc that means i am at max efficiency #but like.
