Goliath and Demona have a (not so very) productive conversation. Probably the most civil they've ever been in years... at the very least, no one walks away with new scars so. Progress?

Another Gargoyles piece for that AU! This was largely just to get a feel of the characters' designs as well as testing out their voices in a potential scene in the story. Basically playin' around to see what sticks to the idea wall. Dialogue will be below, just know it may not actually make final cut! :)

As a quick aside: I do have the first half of the AU brainstormed and written down, so I'll be sharin' tidbits of that soon! owo

(mock context: Goliath has noticed Elisa spending more time with Demona than usual and vice versa and immediately gets suspicious)

Goliath: What are your intentions with Elisa? What are you planning?

Demona: Oh, Goliath. If anything, you should be questioning Elisa's intentions with me. She confides in me, seeks me out... perhaps even prefers my company.

(Goliath narrows his eyes as his nose curls further into a beginnings of a snarl.)

Demona: (Bares her teeth in a mockery of a smile) Careful, love. With that look, I'd mistake you as jealous.

Goliath: Make no mistake, Demona. The only reason you're permitted here is because Angela requested it, naive as it is. Whatever Elisa does with you, it's to support that decision. I trust them both... and beyond my expectations, you've lasted this long with little incident...

(Goliath takes a step closer to properly tower over his former mate. She simply looks up with disdain in her eyes)

Goliath: ...But I don't trust you, Demona. Sooner or later, your true nature will break through. And I will be here when it happens.

I fiddled with Scarabella's canon design a bit for my own loosey goosey attitude. Now she's got a loose blouse that spreads into a beetle shell below the belt and some flared pants, too

Dog!Adrien's name is Auftraghund (Auftrag as assignment, mission, task)+(hund, dog) but they usually just call him Hound/Hund for short. His design is supposed to be vaguely "bounty-hunter" esque because HIS job is to catch Kitclown, not to fight Akuma generally, he's only called for backup when things are dire

Nino's black cat is Pitch Noir, pitch like the black substance, and also pitch like music. his "dreadlocks" are actually just audio and visual ports that connect directly to his helmet, similar to another design of mine, but I wanted to make his chaton a bit more technical

I think the biggest thing mascot horror things need to get a grip on is the reasonable balance of cute/creepy. The mascot in question needs to be cute enough to realistically be for children but scary enough to actually make for effective horror. Most games always lean too far in either direction and idk maybe it's just me but immersion with these kinds of games are important for me to actually find enjoyment in them.

So the idea of “what if the Minnie Miraculers kept their miraculous past age 10?” was an idea pitched by you guys a while back. We had a few fun theoretical discussions about it, and the concept was put on the back burner as something I might play with some day if I ever had the time. Well, that some day is today, because guess what—I just hit 600 followers, and what better way to celebrate than with art of an AU y’all gave me the idea for? So, without further preamble I present to you…

Manon as a middle schooler!—aka Miracle Girl! (Because no shot she’d keep the name Princess ladybug as a self conscious preteen.) Isn't she cute? I'm working on Chris too, but his design's been a bit more complicated, so it'll probably be a bit before he's done. Anyway, that's her--brimming with new confidence (maybe a little too much) and ready to smack some bad guys!
