A very Merry Christmas, Shrimpmas, and Happy Holidays to all of my lovely friends and simmers.

@surely-sims has broke her back in the past giving us Shrimpmas gifts each year. This year the elves of @jeffsshrimpmas jumped in to relieve her with some VERY cool BB, CAS, poses, and food to celebrate Jeffmas!

Mary Margaret Infamy went about posing using poses from @melbrewer367 and @adjusted-karma and wearing lovely gems from @ice-creamforbreakfast, @javitrulovesims, and @gilded-ghosts. Special shout out to @oaksimstudios for the deco trees and @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel for those so delightful jello molds.

You guys all rock - not just for these gifts but everything that you do. Thank you! Mary Margaret wouldn't be who she is without stunning things to show off and I wouldn't have the excuse to giggle at my sims as often as I do without the amazing creators who share with us.

On the second day of Jeffmas, my true love gave to me....some cream to remedy day one's gift. You know what else goes well with cream? Jello.

My second Jeffmas prawn is truly a prawn of the palette, @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel! Today she brings you a glorious vintage jello mould that's fresh from the factory, but looks like its been in the family for at least one whole generation! BUT WAIT! This isn't just any jello mould, this is a ✨functional✨jello mould, so delete your deco relatives and invite your granny over for some fine aspic cuisine!

On the first day of Jeffmas, my true love gave to me...let's not go there, but here's a smashing, rather obnoxious dress inspired by the most notorious and feared woman in The Sims Community circa 2012, created by someone who was around back then and should know better.

My first Jeffmas prawn, or Prawn of Disdain as she likes to be referred to as is none other than @ice-creamforbreakfast; that callous and tricksy woman of many names, with a penchant for sequins!

For day one, she cheered, as I lay in distress!

Fear not, Father Jeffmas, for I will make a dress!

And make a dress she did indeed!

As my fears she did not heed

For you mustn't wake Ms. Perry,

If you want a Shrimpmas Merry!

But no, she said, behold its bows!

Ms. Perry has some stylish clothes!

I screeched my warning noon and night

But yet again, we've unleashed the Sweet Treats blight

🦐 The 12 Days of Jeffmas 2024 Masterpost! 🎄

It’s back...kind of. The best fake holiday that’s ever graced the Sims Community, but BIGGER, SCARIER AND MORE JEFF! What is Jeffmas? To understand Jeffmas, you must understand Shrimpmas. To quote @surely-sims: Shrimpmas is a secular Holiday Event I made up two years ago when Ice-CreamforBreakfast bugged me to make a Christmas Tree covered in shrimp. BUT be aware not everything on  this calendar will be Holiday themed, expect more random pieces- stuff you might find between your CC Couch Cushions, things like that. I, Jeff, moste famouse shrimp mousse, not to be mistaken for Coley's ham salad, have decided to give Anne a break this year. She may not want a break, but she's having one, because Shrimpmas is mine now. It runs through my very veins...or it would if I had veins. Anyhoo, it's Jeffmas this year and if you don't like it, you can sniff me. My little prawns and I have been working hard this year to bring you some holiday magic. Keep your eyes peeled...like prawns for our first CC drop starting Friday the 13th! Lucky for some! Luckiest for Jeff.

Guide to making Autosoils

First you are going to need to download a copy of douglasveiga's Autosoil_test.package which you can find here.

Once you have that, the first step is to clone it. I followed this tutorial, which I find to be super easy and it creates STBL's so the autosoil can be translated if desired.

Now you have your new cloned package. The next thing you will need is the Ingredient Key from the Ingredient.xml from whichever mod you are making the autosoil for. I will use Echoweaver's Wheat as a demonstration, hopefully that's okay.

Open the cloned autosoil package and open the OBJD in Grid.

Replace the Instance Name (which should say Cheese currently) with the Ingredient Key name you copied. Next open the Common Block section.

Here you can edit the Name and Description of the package. Press Commit when done.

Now, if you wish, you can also edit the STBLs. Personally, I only edit the English one. I decided here to follow the formatting of the other Autosoils in game. For the first line I enter "Auto Soil: Wheat" and the second line I put "EWWheat". But it's totally up to you how you name it. Save you package and change the name to whatever you want to call it. That's it.
