He's technically too old and experienced and will knock his GF off her balance, and feet with suave.

He has a collection of swords from back in his day, and doesn't mind letting his GF play with them. He's not super attached but likes them anyway.

England and France:

Its embarrassing how similar these two view it

but it's mostly because they use to CONSTANTLY try and best each other in fencing when the sport first came around.

It ended in a tie between them, so having a GF to spar with and practice is a nice change of pace.

England is more prone to practice with his GF, while France would rather instruct and coach his.

Neither will ever admit that their GF is actually better than them, because man pride.

Not a thing wrong with it since England's face goes bright red when he acts like he let her win, and France will just pout and silently admit defeat.

What countries do you think would be compatible with a S/O who was similar to Romano in personality?

Oooo~ that's tricky- But here is a quick list-

Spain- He handles Romano daily anyway-

Poland- I don't know why, but Poland's flamboyant attitude would probably be able to let a Romano-like S/O attitude roll off his back. Maybe even be able to offer self-care days and relaxing spas.

Germany- If they're in love with each other I can kind of see this working, so long they can shed their major differences. Germany would respect his S/O's desire to stand up for themselves, even if at times it's a bit silly.

France- Spicy S/O is sexy, just don't mock him and you'll be fine.

Estonia- I don't know why- but I feel Estonia is just a big troll in his past time, so wouldn't mind occasionally irritating his S/O, thinking their outbursts are cute.

Prussia- Two badasses, what more can I say?

America- Another who thinks their attitude is funny, and also isn't afraid to go toe to toe with their banter and wit.

And everything goes so smoothly.

He's relaxed for once and is more than happy to focus all his attention on the love of his life.

There is also far more cuddle sessions then anyone would have expected.

His arms are so strong, yet they seem to fill in the curves of his lovers back so perfectly.

And the cologne he's wearing? Delicious with a capital D!

He's happy and the smile on his face does not dissappear the whole time.

Not even when Italy calls his phone, to which he just calmly hangs up and puts it back in his pocket.

He's still very jittery from the ceremony, but it's pure joy.

America with a S/O who thinks take me home is their anthem

(I don't know what's more funny to me, the fact some people don't know what our anthem is and just assume it's country, or that America is still picked on because we don't know the geography of the rest of the world meanwhile each of our states could have been their own country. My soul hurts...)

He is cracking up, and can barely breath. They might have broken him. He's down for the count on the floor. There isn't much that can be done until he stops laughing, and it's not him laughing at him, it's just the song choice is what killed him. Now everything it plays on the radio he goes "I love our great nations anthem!" His S/O will get a good wheeze from him if they ask if west Virginia is the states capital.

He will gladly show them the ACTUAL Anthem, but now is completely tempted to change it. Out with the old and in with the 🎵TAKE ME HOME, TO THE PLACE I BELONG🎵

Allies + Canada and Axis + Prussia and Romano react to their child who doesn’t want to go to college (they tried to do it but stress got to them so they dropped out and now they are in a period of depression thinking that they are a puppet being forced to do something they don’t want to do)

(Sorry for the long explanation but hope it’s worth it 😅)

Allies+Axis+Canada+Prussia+Romano and their child dropping out of college

(These are going to be typed out slightly different than usual since there are so many characters here, but we shall endure together lol)

Allies:

America- He's confused at first, just trying to figure out why they weren't following their dreams like he wanted them to. It's been quite the theme of him having to call England for help and be reminded he was like that once too. That's when he realizes how forceful he was being about it. "Hey there sport. We need to tall about this, huh?" He brings them their favorite breakfast and the talk goes for 2 hours. After some emotional outbursts and crying he tells his kid they could always have done what they wanted to do, and apologized for being overbearing. He only wanted them to succeed in life, no matter what they chose to do.

England- His heart wrentched because it didn't take long for him to see what was happening. he didn't want to go through losing another kid to some silly little system. He was gentle and only spoke when his child was done with their outburst. He pulled them in and held them, reminding them how special they really were, and that no one had control over their life. He even talked a little about his relationship with America and promised they wouldn't ever have to take it that far.

France- He's a little heartbroken they quit and had a hard time understanding why they felt the way they did. It took a while but he started to understand when he saw a group of their friends without them. He couldn't remeber the last his kid smiled the way they did. At that point it didn't matter why they were upset, he just knew he had to make it right. He started to ask them about everything they like, and what they wanted to do with their life. Cause it was theirs and no one elses.

China- Oh he was ABSOLUTELY livid when he found out. He already tends to get into heated arguments with his kid, but didn't expect them to run away and move in with Japan. Embarrassingly enough he decided to call either England or Germany since they're usually the only other responsible countries. Thankfully both of them had the common sense to tell china it probably wasn't just about having to be in school. They were right. Even though China started to understand he still scolded them for not trying to talk about it first. He even admitted to the fact it still would have lead to an argument, but at least that argument would have been over the truth, and not what China had assumed it was about. They agreed upon at least finishing up the year, and then they could start to look to something they actually wanted. Even if they didn't want to it's sometimes more important to finish what you start, and say you did then just giving up.

Russia- Russia didn't get the chance to break off from those kind of duties, even the ones he pushed off onto the Baltics, but it still got done. He wanted to instill that into his kid. He fought with them over it until they blurted out what they really felt. That pretty much tipped Russia over, and he started crying a little himself. He didn't want to be like any of his bosses, and having a kid was teaching him a lot. Especially in this moment. He also had the "My child is no longer a child* Epiphany as well, and there was a LOT of sobbing. His kid probably had to help their father out of his own episode before being able to continue their own. After it was discussed, it turned out a little like China's situation. They had to at least finish the year, and then they could figure out what they really wanted in the meantime. Although Russia's theory was that there's no such thing as too much knowledge and they should still take advantage of what knowledge they can get. Especially when they pay for it (^J^)

Axis:

Canada- There wasn't any fighting or anything, and Canada isn't just chill, he's also pretty smart as well. So it didn't take him long to start asking his kid all the right questions. Turns out Canada never really cared if they went to college or not. He thought he was just supporting them. He can't fully relate to feeling like a puppet but that didn't change the fact his child was feeling that way. He does his best to understand and even goes as far as getting parenting advice from America. And yes they went out for waffles and pancakes the next day.

Germany- He may be screaming, but he's not angry, just a little frustrated. If his kid was feeling that kind of pressure he wish they'd had just said so at the beginning. Later on he remembered how he can come across and apologized if he made them feel that way. Took them out to eat and helped them rearrange their classes so they could say they went. He wpuld still expect their best effort and offered any tutoring if they needed it. It was pretty tame and went smoothly.

Japan- He didn't care that they dropped out, but was very concerned as to why. He's probably one of the best listeners out of everyone. His even temperament makes a very safe talk space for his kid. And because it's his own life, he places a gentle hand on their shoulder, instantly calming them. They don't have to go back and feel miserable again. What's important now is to rest their spirit and star anew, but this time on their own terms.

Italy- he takes it to heart, and apologies several times. He never wanted his to to be that overwhelmed! He was just so excited to see them do more with their life then he had. He found comfort in having everyone else pamper him and make decisions, so he never realized his kid was getting put under so much pressure. His heart instantly broke and he promised to do everything he could to make it right.

Romano- He gets emotional cause he kind of gets it. He was always a stand up guy, but when it comes to his own kid he has no problem bending the knee and becoming vulnerable. He tries to hide the fact he wants to cry a little because he already figured this would happen. He blames himself right away and much like Italy, promises to help make it right. Though he still wants them to have SOMETHING under their belt college wise, and only because that's how the world seems to work. But they can do whatever it is they want, and he will support them full force.

Prussia- He thinks they're overreacting until he notices them locked away in their room. His body softens and he goes into protective dad mode. He's asking all the questions and even making off handed jokes about how school sucks anyway, and it is not that awesome. Eventually his kid opens up and they tall it through. A few hugs and whipped tears later and they are free to do what ever they chose, and he will help take care of the rest.

Either he will act all shy like an innocent princess, or like a mafia boss getting his way.

He definitely leaves a trail of kisses either way and won't let go until his S/O is ready.

Russia

He's a little taken aback at first but laughs it off and opens his arms wide for them!

He does prefer them face to face so he can nuzzle their noses and cheeks together

Careful if you set on top of his legs, he will turn into a bounce house at that point (take that as innocently as you want, or not)

His scarf gets wrapped around them at some point as well and he is the perfect balance of ice and heat

Is kind of confused but has the spirit!

This depends on where the relationship is, and if he's in his home or not.

If they've been together a while chances are he's already bathing with them (if they're OK with it) and he's even initiated hand holding and cuddles!

He's a completely different person when it's just him and his S/O.

He'll probably be kneeling on the floor, so be prepared for it to be slightly awkward to get comfortable, but he can manage.

He acts like he didn't hear what they said and it becomes such a peaceful and calming atmosphere

That is until S/O feels a light breeze go into their ear.

He will let go if they get uncomfortable but is 100% taking advantage to tease them and try and catch up on all the months they stayed touch starved.

If they ARENT that far into the relationship he'll be reluctant but agreeable. So be very gentle with the Japanese man.

How could Russia, England, and America react to an s/o who copies their accents??

Not like in a mocking way but more of a mimicking way, they don’t even realize they copy their accents n stuff and will softly mutter words or phrases they like to hear in their partners accent, gn!s/o plz and thank you!

Also side note, I use to be able to do a pretty good French accent but since I’ve learned the Russian one I can’t do it anymore since my brain will switch back into Russian

He jumped since the first thing they said was a cuss word in russian

He just about dies when he learns it's from him.

The accent though is adorable.

S/O is now encased in his arms till he's gotten his fill of hearing it as well.

Now he randomly says stuff with a thicker than usual accent.

Dropped the Octave in his voice once and cried laughing when his S/O mimicked the tone as well.

He thinks it's wicked creepy.

Even if it's for kids

Swears the puppets are slowly stealing the life of the kids

S/O might as well have fun with it

That back fires a little. Once he was the tiny puppet version if himself becomes... involves.

His puppet now must be the hero in the show as well.

Congrats! Now puppets are only 56% creepy...

England

He actually thinks it's sweet.

He use to play puppets with America at one point.

That was until one of them mysteriously crawled in bed with America as a little kid. That snowballed into a lot of tears and screaming that night....

He's glad to see most of the kids enjoying the show.

His S/O can witness England giving his attention to the kids who did find the puppets scary.

Magic tricks and song a longs is his thing, so his S/O can be at rest at events from now on.

France

He's neither here or there.

Thinks the kids reaction is adorable though.

It also doesn't take long for him to sit in the middle of the children as a very involved audience member.

There will be one or two kids sitting in his lap, hiding their face in his cape at the 'Scary dragon' parts.

He may have 'lost' his cape at a couple events because he didn't have the heart to take it from the little sprouts when they thought it was a heros cape.

And yes he gasps dramatically and eggs on the children as well during the show. May have also pretended to cry at some parts.

China

He's no stranger to stage plays and puppets.

He introduces his S/O to shadow puppets, and is wicked impressive with them as well.

Offers to help with the shows, even if it's with string or hand puppets.

He starts to make shadow boxes and puppets for the more scared kids to play with, making Goofy voices for them.

Oddly enough any recording or photos of him doing so vanish completely...

Russia

Insert happy Russia noises.

Of COURSE he collects puppets, especially from his country.

Some of which seemed cursed but those are the ones he holds the dearest to his heart, seeming them as misunderstood like him.

He has zero problem helping out, but the stage maaay need to be made a little bigger.

Kind of loves being the villian in the stories.

His S/O has since then edited the stories so the villians have a happy ending as well.

The kids flock to him when he gives his stage bow.

Scarf has now become a swing, and Russia a jungle gym.

He will not want to leave so good luck.

Axis

Germany

Tis hand puppet time!

He has kept a puppet that a small girl gave him during his... less that joyful Era.

He let's his S/O hold it ONLY if they are wearing gloves and all lose hair and clothing is tucked away!

He doesn't mind watching the show. It makes him feel nostalgic and childish.

Don't tell anyone he mouths the words after learning the scripts

Doesn't know what to do with the kids who are creeper out by the puppets.

He guesses he's a guardian now?

Once tossed a piece of popcorn at one of the evil villians, and the kids went wild with laughter.

7/10 would like to join events more often.

Italy

Yall thought he'd be scared?

WRONG.

He is a child om the inside and enjoys it more then literally anyone his S/O met.

Loves to help make tiny clothes for the puppets and even makes cute props for the kids.

Has some cute story ideas.

Occasionally joins in or watches over the scared children, distracting them or letting them hide and cling to him.

Sweet baby boy, is sweet.

He will make a very successful attempt at making him and his S/O as puppets.

AND THEY HAVE MAGNETS IN THEIR HANDS!?

They hold hands now. And will never let go.

An immediate spewing fountain of puppet history. How their made, the diffeent cultures between countries

He's a little cautious about what he does and says until he realizes she loved him for him

Goes berserk when she admits to enjoying a life of a normal 'peasant' without having to lead a historical event again.

If she is reincarnated as a man, he will ask which Pronouns she perfers.

Will still call her Bella or other Feminine endearment in private out of respect for her loss of life.

Ok, eve when his S/O is around you can hear singing.

Though when he KNOWS no one else is home he will stand in the largest, and echo-sty room (usually at the top of the ballroom stairs) And belt out random sea shanties and English operas.

Will wonder if his old knights Armour fits him.

He will get stuck and fall on the ground.

He gets the zoomies when his mind is on a roll. Think pacing the floor but make it a sport.

He bought a crystal ball to spy in people, but it cracked and split in half when he tried it with Russia.

Why must he be plagued?

Tries to call up other countries and hangs up before they even utter a hello.

Japan specifically has a LONG recent call history from him and doesn't even recognize it.

That dog is spoiled and knows it.

No one tell England the dogs a boy because it's too unfairly cute dressed in pink.

Oh no... he found out.

Doesn't know he was last to know the dogs gender. Still dresses it up in pink anyway.

He will also mix drinks at home, and to no one's surprise is good at it. So he's very pleased.

May have burnt the kitchen down once... or twice....

How would the German Brothers, France, England, Russia, and China react to their American s/o (who recently moved countries to move in with them) dealing with extreme homesickness?

German Brothers + Allies with a homesick S/O

(I made this for a S/O from anywhere in the world since America already lives there and he must be included. Everyone loves that greasy bomber jacket blonde lol)

German Brothers:

Germany:

He understands what homesickness feels like. Between the wars from the past, and the meetings for the future he usually upholds, he is rarely at his nice clean home.

He does his best to console them, and buys them stuff from their home country.

One day he was talking with Italy, and was shocked when Italy suggested to just have more meetings in their home country and bring them with when they start to miss it.

He starts to do just that.

Makes extra time to take them to nice resturants or their hometown and to visit as much of their family and friends as possible.

He realizes having them as a traveling companion helped his stress levels so now they're his emotional support S/O!

Now at least when they miss their home, they won't be alone in that.

Prussia:

Man is retired, and LOVES to travel and learn stuff.

Has no problem sneaking his S/O away to their country.

Movie nights with subtitles will happen frequently. He's not even paying attention he's just so happy his Jewel is happy.

Also cooks a lot of food from their homelands as well as gifts and tacky tourist gages just to make them smile.

Allies:

America:

Doesn't fully understand at first since he couldn't WAIT to break free from England.

Doesn't stop him from bringing his S/O to all the themed resturants in America.

Even has pinned down all the cultural museum spots from their Homeland.

Has an endless knowledge about S/O's heritage of cryptic and ghouls.

Loves seeing them happy and will fly them out, even if he can't go with due to restrictions.

Will help make an album of photos and magazines and newspapers and all that good stuff with them.

Also expect a LOT of imported snacks from their home country as well.

England:

We will pretend he thinks museums don't exist, and that his country doesn't have any major art works.

This will be the ONLY time it's a good thing because now his S/O can ramble off what all the foreign words are.

Laughs when he learns the British museums didn't realize a relic was NOT in fact used to make biscuits.

He won't be able to go with them, but sends a friend of theirs to go with and gives them an allowance to go on a shopping spree and eat at the highest quality of resturants/food markets.

Bring him back a teacup, or pottery piece and he will fight tears over the fact they thought of him just as much as he did of them.

France:

HUGE advocate for getting to travel with his S/O.

Unless there's a riot outside his window he will drop everything to go.

"It would be unfair to give up your life completely just for me, non?"

Showers them with romantic evenings and maybe a get together with friends and family.

France has an amazing wifi connection so he will set up a place to video chat with their friends.

After all even just friends can bring you back home.

Will have random people send postcards so his S/O can make a picture map of their countries best sight seeing places.

Even if he does most the work.

China

He's not too keen on traveling there, and rarely let's his S/O go back

But when they do its not a small trip. We're talking a couple months, or until they had enough.

He will try his best to incorporate foods from the other country and enjoys the process.

He has also shipped out many books and movies to China for them.

Though he will evidently receive chinese rip offs, and gets agitated and apologetic.

He knows it's an issue, they guy is trying his hardest!

Russia

He gets a little sad, thinking they just don't want to be with him.

Even so that in itself is understandable, but decides to go on a trip with them anyway.

Look out if it's a nice and sunny beach like country (or has any beaches regardless)

He will become a very happy sunburnt Russian. Sunscreen? What's that?

His S/O will have to fight with him ti actually go back home because how their home is him new home, da?
