GIMME HEADCANONS tell us about how Shizuo dyes his hair, or Izaya's morning routine is, *cough* trans Izaya hcs? 👀

ok i took forever to answer this because i wasn't sure how i wanted to format my thoughts on this in a way that doesn't feel repetitive (to me, personally) but HERE GOES

Since this will be long I'm gonna pop it all under a cut,

so TLDR; Shizuo takes really good care of his hair; Izaya's morning routine is overly complicated or there is None At All; Izaya is an Any Pronouns type Bitch

I see a lot of people claim Shizuo's hair would be incredibly damaged or dry from his bleaching, but I argue that someone who has been bleaching their hair for over a decade and includes THEIR FUCKING EYEBROWS is not doing this in a half-ass way.

Also, we see Kasuka gift Shizuo the bartender uniforms, therefore I think it's safe to assume that even if the first couple of bleachings were damaging that Kasuka went ahead and helped Shizuo find a gentler bleach, as well as specific hair care products that are meant to mitigate the regular damage bleach can cause.

Source: i've been bleaching my hair for over a DECADE and i've only fried my hair TWICE both of which had nothing to do with the level of chemical and moreso that i fell asleep with the bleach in my hair.

Source: I have multiple friends of asian descent with different hair types who also have been very diligent about not frying their hair.

Source: We never see Shizuo's roots therefore we know he's keeping up with the ROOTS which thus causes less damage over all. Less Chemical means Less Damage which means He keeps UP with it to make it less of a hassle.

Izaya's morning routine heavily depends on whether or not he's going out that day, meeting with clients or staying inside.

If he's going to be interacting with anyone face to face then his routine is to wake up, start the coffee and immediately roll into his 11-step skincare routine. He PAUSES this for a face mask and goes to make his coffee while running a bath. Then its a nice hour ish of relaxing in the bath, sipping coffee and scrolling through forums.

THEN when that's finished he finishes up his skin care, gets dressed and gets into his day.

If he's NOT meeting anyone then he just runs himself a bath and reads while having some tea.

Those who know me know I'm always writing or drawing FtM Izaya, and I stand by that. But he's also an any pronouns type bitch.

I don't really see him having any surgeries, like he COULD easily but he gives the vibe that he doesn't really trust doctors, except Shinra, but he also doesn't trust Shinra to give him top surgery in a sense. It's a bit complicated. But mainly he doesn't worry about any of that. It's irrelevant to him, specifically.

Also, that being said, I like to imagine part of his obsession with pissing off Shizuo is also sort of gender euphoric in a way.

It's fun to not be treated delicately! And so openly and forward too!!!

By extension, I think Shinra is also FtM and Shizuo is NB but has a full time job so he can't worry about that rn (full time job is trying to kill Izaya)

the wind is gentle against your face when you leave the coffee shop, and you wrap your scarf a little tighter around your neck. jongseob pulls you aside, not to block the entrance, and dives into his bag to look for headphones. you hold his drink and take a small sip. 

the vanilla flavor explodes on your tongue and you just grin, taking another sip of the sweet beverage. maybe he won’t notice–

“it’s a bit too sweet, to be honest. do you want to finish it?” he asks and you realize he’s been watching you, gaze amused from behind his glasses. the red oval frames cutely frame his face, almost distracting from the fact that you just got caught. 

“no, you can have it” you sigh and trade. he hands you one earphone, you give him the drink back. (it wasn’t too sweet, really. jongseob just said that so you could finish it without feeling guilty). you accept the earphone and put it in your left ear, grabbing his hand. 

“do you want to watch something once we get back?” he asks softly before putting on one of his rap playlists. you pucker your lips in thought and miss the way he smiles fondly at the sight.

“maybe… i still have to finish that one kdrama my friend recommended but i don’t really feel like it’ you say and start your journey back to the dorm. 

the music isn’t playing too loud - despite the energetic tune and some… unusual lyrics, it serves as a background to your conversation. jongseob intertwines fingers with yours, seeking a little more warmth on the chilly day. 

“maybe we can rewatch the maze runner…?” he offers and you just scoff. your boyfriend takes another sip of his vanilla cappuccino and hides a smile behind the cup. 

“again?” you laugh at the ridiculosity. “i’d rather watch… oh, i know! i know!” 

jongseob halts, the impact almost making you trip. 

“let’s watch old harmony adventure eps! please, please, please…! they are so funny… well, you are but…” you stop and trace where his gaze is. 

a cat. 

“wait, i want to take a picture” he hums and looks for his phone. the moment it’s in his hand, it almost gets yanked from the impact of you kneeling down. and the plugged earphone– 

jongseob manages to catch it and lets out a sigh of relief, your earphone dangling in the air. he started taking pictures of the brown colored feline hiding in the bushes. 

“how did you even notice it?” you ask, gently tapping your nails against the concrete to lure the cat.

“i just have a cat radar” he smirks and squats next to you, joining in your scheme. 

the cat’s big green eyes track your movements. jongseob looks around and notices a bin. 

“i’m just gonna finish it and throw it out” he says and drinks the coffee, doing as he said. 

meanwhile you successfully lure the cat, the feline approaching you carefully. it sniffs your hand, soft nose poking your skin. jongseob observes with a proud smile. 

the cat plops on its back, showing its white belly to you. 

with a loud whine, you start to pat its belly.

“seob, oh my god!” you mumble, pout forming on your lips. the fur is soft beneath your palm and your boyfriend joins you again, his hand petting the cat’s head. 

“do you think we can steal it?” he asks, hopeful sparkle in his eye. 

you bite your lip, looking at him. 

“i’m really gullible, you should stop making offers like that” you laugh and he just snickers, hand moving to pat its belly too. your fingers occasionally bump into each other, the cat’s loud purring making you chuckle. 

“no, really, what’s stopping us…?” your boyfriend mumbles to himself, adoring the pet’s happy face. 

“jongseob!” you whine, moving to scratch the cat’s chin. it stretches a bit, throwing its head back to give you better access to its chin and neck. “just like you…”

“i don’t purr” he grunts “and i am not a cat”

“mhm…” you decide to ignore his meows of protest “also, i think this cat isn’t a stray. it’s a little too friendly. and it’s cute underbelly tells me its being fed good at home”

“eh, you’re right” jongseob grunts and pats the white belly for the last time “let’s keep going then. before it’s too late”

“too late for what?” you ask, tilting your head. he just opens his bag widely, pretending as if he’s going to swoop the cat in. 

the street fills with your laughters and the cat stands up, startled. jongseob helps you stand up and dusts off your knees while you wave at the cat. 

“bye, kitty” you hum and grab your boyfriend’s hand again. and as you try to persuade him into watching harmony adventure, he keeps wondering when did you manage to change the playlist. 

once back at home, happily watching the content you wanted, jongseob is laying on your lap. his red glasses messily thrown on the nightstand, face buried in the warmth of the duvet covering your legs. 

you sneak your hand into his hair, massaging his scalp gently. one second he’s laughing at a joke he made, the other he’s groaning softly. 

“that feels nice…” he mewls, nuzzling his head. 

“yeah?” you ask with a grin. his limbs stretch a little and jongseob lets out a sigh of relief.

“m’yeah. keep doing that, please… oh, oh, here” he purrs in delight.

“not a cat, you say” you whisper quietly, not wanting him to hear. he doesn’t, luckily - and you decide to tease him about it later. something along the lines of ‘who needs a cat when i have you’.

FOOD AGGRESSION

When Axe was first adopted, he had severe food aggression and would eat too fast

His owners would start training him first by just being near him while he eats. Just letting him know that no one is stealing his food. This was all on a VERY strict routine.

Over time, he would be okay with others being around, and start easing up on eating too aggressively. Once that behavior was eased, his owners got him specific bowls to help him eat slower and help with his digestion. Of course, he only gets the best home-made cat food~

Now he's a little purr machine who neither overeats or eats too fast, and is completely okay with eating around the other cats

He is also pretty impossible to not give a treat ♥

TOUCH

Horror never was too feisty with people touching him, but for a long time was the kind of cat that may just hang out in the same room with you

After a few months of living with his owners, he found his favorite, and let down his walls enough to learn the enjoyment of cuddles and napping together. The other owners can be a little jealous of his favorite, but melt when they see just how happy he is

He's also the best little space heater on a cold night. He's large, full of purrs, and very chill to hang out with his favorite for a long time

OTHER CATS

At the very beginning, he needed to be separated from the other cats during mealtimes. He would absolutely break out fighting if other cats were near his food.

Otherwise, he was very okay and accepting of the others when he first arrived. Other cats could never beat him before, being such a big boi and having survived so many fights. In time, he learned pretty quickly the joys of being a housecat with the guidance of the other kitties, especially Nightmare and Dust.

He's not keen on play fighting like Killer and Dust. He'll watch from the sidelines and stand up when they start getting too rough. He's much more happy to take sunny naps, hang with his favorite owner, and play with his mousey toys

Is Ax's human morph possibly trans? He says he chose male when he first morphed, but I can't recall him being described explicitly with male features. Instead, almost every description focuses on describing human-Ax as androgynous or feminine in appearance. It seems possible that he simply chose to identify with his own gender regardless of the morph's. I guess my question is: is Ax's human morph a trans man? Or is there evidence to contradict this headcanon?

I know the phrasing on this is probably not the best and that I am not well versed on how to talk about gender vs sex as a cis person.

My read has always been that human!Ax is an intersex person with male gender. Because he uses 50% DNA from Cassie and Rachel, 50% from Jake and Marco. Assuming for a second that those four are all cis, that means he's got 50% feminizing DNA and 50% masculinizing DNA, and is notably androgynous. That doesn't always mean an intersex kid — almost everyone has a parent of a different sex — but within the rules of morphing, it certainly could.

Ax also says "I chose to be male... because I am male" (p. 161, emphasis added). So I think dude's meant to have intersex sex, male gender. Some intersex people identify with "trans", some don't, the term as we know it didn't exist in 1996, so I'd say it's not not canon that he's trans.

How the mercs would play tf2

Scout is a Heavy main bc he likes the POWER. He tried playing as himself but kept dying bc of low health and got pissed. Constantly yelling for Medic. The 124hp disease is eternal.

Soldier only plays as himself because it's American. Keeps ragequitting. Can't figure out how to rocket jump in game. Has broken 79284654 keyboards in rage.

Pyro plays as themself mostly, but I can see them messing around as other classes on occasion. I think they'd get a kick out of playing Medic sometimes. Still, they're mostly themself and one of those players you think are friendlies bc they do mannrobics over and over but then they unleash fiery death upon you.

Demo would try to play himself but accidentally clicks on a different class and ends up being really good at that too despite being absolutely fucking hammered. Can't aim meelees for shit (just like me fr) but is alright with regular guns. Especially enjoys the wonders of w + m1ing people as Pyro.

Heavy plays himself obviously. Don't think he'd be into playing anyone else, except maybe as medic to pocket his sisters if they played (Zhanna is also a Heavy main btw). He'd be really bad at first but get good really fast. Always remembers to throw sandviches to the medics like (gigachad)

Engie would only play himself, but I think he'd get distracted thinking of ways to improve the game. Only plays in five minute bursts and spends the rest of his time building mods to improve The Experience. Pyro guards his buildings vigilantly between these bursts and they rarely crumble under their watchful gaze and neon sign of sapper destruction.

Medic plays himself mostly, but usually as a battle medic. Ze healing is not as rewarding and all that. I think he'd also be into the POWER (like Scout) of playing massive damage dealing classes (like Pyro, Heavy and Soldier) because again. Hurting.

Sniper would only play himself no exceptions. Slowly evolves into one of those 3000hr 4channer sniper mains and gets ridiculously competitive about the whole thing. Gets so caught up in headshotting he forgets he has a secondary weapon and meelee and dies easily to spies.

Spy abhors the game as a whole, especially playing himself, as it doesn't "accurately portray the intricacies of being a spy" or whatever. Plays occasionally to troll under an alt account but tell no one or he'll fuck your mother.

Miss Pauling would enjoy playing Demo I think, going off vibes alone, but she'd get a kick out of Scout on 2fort matches specifically because it's Efficient for Objective Completion.

Admin is, like Spy, beyond such frivolities. If she ever bothered I think she'd enjoy Sniper or Spy as she too spends a lot of time Staring.

Saxton Hale only plays on his own mode, and as Heavy when not as himself. Hes really fucking annoying about it.

Like I said, Zhanna's defo a Heavy main, but plays Soldier sometimes to bond with her husband. She's way better than him, obviously.

Merasmus hates Soldier and will ragequit any match with Soldiers in them which means he doesnt play often. When he does, however, he likes to be a Demoknight.

Scout's Ma plays Pyro. Like Ms Pauling, this is vibes alone, but she'd also play Spy and Scout sometimes as they are her boyfriend/son.

Grey Mann wouldn't play he'd just infest the game with more bots because he sucks like that.

Oh boy I had so much fun.

My main thought while painting this was " what would be different about elrond?"

And the answer is alot but a the same time nothing.

Elrond is in a way a sad character he kind of lost everything and the only constance in his life is the heralded past of his ancestors/family and friends.

He almost can't remember his parents but he can read about them even maglor is ,despite being a kindslayer, described as strong imposing and a mighty warrior.

His own brother,who chooses mortality,is a revered king!

This elrond that I depicted here is not the lord of Riverdale. Not married yet.

This is a elrond who will stand between evil and his folk.

Just like his ancestors did.

He is holding a legacy of strong unrelenting men who did change the tides of war who done the impossible no one else did before them!.

This is also elrond who found out that his brothers legacy Numenor is at the bottom of the sea - because of sauron.

This is a elrond who becomes a lord for many different kind of elves because he is a different kind of elve.

the bed is warm and fluffy, like a softest cloud. 

with a quiet groan your fingers look for the edge of the blanket and you pull it over your shoulders, not wanting any warmth to escape. 

this sheer feeling of comfort is enough to lull you back into sleep. 

suddenly, there’s an extra weight on you. not too strong, yet it was enough to crack your eye open.

in an instant you were met with an adorable sight: taehyun’s face squished onto your shoulder, his cheeks puffed slightly. it was his arm that you felt - he threw it across your waist, as if holding a plushie. his dark brown hair was shuffled from all the moving in his sleep, locks long enough to cover his closed eyes. 

despite the cold temperature outside and snow blazing, the warm sunlight peeks through the window, leaving a morning glow on his face. 

you can’t control the way your hand travelled to cup his cheek, causing his lips to pout from the subtle squishing. you just grinned and stared at taehyun’s sleeping face. 

your heart was at ease, seeing him like that. knowing that he’s resting – safely and next to you. it did feel a little strange to have him besides you while waking up, only because you were so used to the hastle and bustle of his busy life. 

you felt his fingers brushing against your side, drawing a giggle from you. 

“what’s so funny…” taehyun mumbled, not caring to open his eyes just yet. 

“you tickled me” you hummed and felt his lips forming into a mischievous smirk under your palm. “don’t even think about it” 

taehyun just fixed his hold and now his fingers wrapped around your side fully, pulling you closer. not knowing from where, his other hand came and landed at the back of your head. now you were fully nuzzled into his chest, your hair tickling his chin. 

“you’re just like a personal teddy bear, you know?” he murmured, voice a bit raspy from slumber. you just scoffed and fixed the blanket, closing your eyes.

“i figured” 

taehyun peeked an eye open and frowned. 

“wait, actually, i don’t like this position…” he sighed and shuffled again, dragging you along. 

“but i was getting cozy…” you whined when for a moment the covers slipped off. the coldness of the room made you shiver dramatically. 

“here we go” he purred with satisfaction, like a cat receiving chin scratches. 

now you were laying on his chest, his hands still glued to you. 

“i can see you a little better. that was what i needed, really” he hummed and brought the blanket over to your neck. 

you sighed softly, turning to his side and wrapping your hand around his torso. throwing your leg on his, you nuzzled even closer. not a single space between your bodies.

“i wish we could stay like this forever” he slurred sleepily and you weren’t sure if he’s not gonna drift away again any second now. 

“who said we have to get up?” you asked quietly. 

taehyun stayed silent, his fingers that were drawing circles on your side slowly stopping. 

“for a moment i forgot i have a day off” he finally answered, a cute giggle leaving his lips. the gesture made his chest shake, leaving you smiling. 

“wake me up when you wake up” you just hummed, fully embracing the coziness of his warmth and layers of blankets. 

“see you in my dreams” taehyun whispered before falling into slumber once again.

so the circled ones are the ones the same height as randal (5'4) which i found here it says he's 5'4 so yeah the circled ones include satoru, randal, all the ratmen, scarecrow kid, spider girl, and yamada

then i worked with those a little taller or shorter than that which are kitty carpet and flowerman who're a little taller so i made them 5'5 and dream luther who's a little shorter so i made him 5'3 then i worked with dream luther to get avalona's height as 5'2 since shes only a tiny bit shorter than him

then i went to sebastian who's a bit taller than kitty and made him about 5'7 since he was slightly taller than her than she was the 5'4s ykwim and then i noted the daisies and hitchhiker b to be the same height as him and went off of that to say that hitchhiker a is 5'8

then i measured off hitchhiker a to say nyon and nyen are the same height as him (i dont count nyen's hat as part of his height since i've seen art where it comes off unlike nyon's ears) and then went off of that where luther's 2 inches taller than them so he's 5'10

then i measured that axe luther and nana (when she's standing like that in the chart) are the same height and that ethereal q was about 4 inches shorter than them so in order to get his height i had to get theirs first so i went off luther for that and determined it was about a 7 inch difference and 5'10 plus 7" is 6'5 for them and 6'5 minus 4" is 6'1

then i wanted to measure nana's full body length so i took about her body length and compared it to the rest on the ground and there was about 4 inches that it didn't cover so i counted it as 6'9 on the ground and 6'5 + 6'9 is 13'1 so that's her full body length

the n/a ones (house elf, cone, ego) are ones too small to properly measure even with the others as a reference so i didn't fill those out, i'll just estimate like a few inches tall for house elf and ego and about a foot for cone

I already kind of talked about this months ago but think it'd be really funny if a lot of Hiccup's kills in rtte are unintentional in the sense that he's so focused on freeing dragons he forgets that (if they don't die in the initial explosion) blowing up a ship and leaving people stranded miles away from any land is a death sentence and also that plasma blasting people is 99% of the time fatal.

What if the other riders all thought they were operating under the knowledge of they're killing dragon hunters to free dragons and Hiccup was the only one who wasn't fully aware of this because of his funny habit of prioritizing dragons over people, like he'd rather not kill people but also the safety of anyone but the dragons they're saving is Not at the forefront of his mind so it's not like he's careful.
