a term to describe an involuntary disconnect one has have between their physical self and inner self, it is against transitioning if its unsafe or can harm other people. its symbol is 🧠🚫🫀

there is no set flag template to encourage creativity, but there is community-made ones if you prefer them.

originally coined by acetrappolaswife, now deactivated. both flag and descriptions have been simplified with as much integrity to the original as possible.

this term is NOT rad//queer friendly and was made as a safer version of trans//ids for those who want to leave the community. it is, however, not exclusive to them. if youre a proud, active rad//queer and want to use this, you literally have your equivelant of the term, go away. shoo.

ways i cope with plurality dysphoria ☆

making a private simplyplural and/or pluralkit and jotting down stuff about your "alters," i call mine personas

choosing personalities for each "alter" and giving them likes and dislikes (like OCs but private!)

thinking to myself in voices i assign to them (you can use voiceclaims for this, which you can find on youtube & tiktok)

assigning them roles and letting them help you cope with your issues!! bonus points if you go into your persona to help yourself get better !! ☆

making picrews of them & deciding on their looks & styles !! :D

come up with a system name , aesthetic , and other things to help you feel like part of a collective !!

talk and respond to yourself ... yeah

atypical euphoria - a term for those who have body/species/mind/etc euphoria, outside of gender euphoria. for example, one might get euphoria from wearing animal ears or daydreaming or anything else. this is intended for those who have little/no atypical dysphoria but do get body/species/mind/etc euphoria, however those with atypical dysphoria are free to use it of course. i noticed a lot of focus on just dysphoria and, as someone who doesn't experience atypical dysphoria but does experience atypical euphoria, i wanted to coin a term that makes me more comfortable.

color meanings:

light green - all types of atypical euphoria (body, species, mind, etc)

yellow - euphoria and happiness via non-harmful transitioning

white - unity between everyone who experiences atypical euphoria

lavender - acceptance of oneself and one's internal identity

light blue - those who experience some amount of atypical dysphoria

dark blue - those who experience no atypical dysphoria

disclaimer: i am anti-radqueer and anti-transid, however, i can't stop those who are radqueer or transid from using this term/flag as long as they agree with the meanings. i would prefer if radqueer/transid folks not interact with this post as well. "harmful transitioning" includes things such as "race transitioning" and faking disorders, as those harm others.

Pandissomei or Pandissodic (could also be called Dissoeverything) is a dissodic term that describes someone who feels involuntarily disconnected from the entirety of their physical / current self, believing that every aspect of them should be or is something else

This could refer to feeling disconnected from each individual part of yourself, being dissoage, dissobody, dissospecies, and so on, or just feeling disconnected from yourself as a whole. You don't have to identify under each dissodic umbrella individually to be pandissomei

This term is against transitioning if its unsafe or could harm others

AHARQ - Anti Harm, Anti Radqueer

This is for people that are anti-prat and identify with fictional illnesses. This was made with fictives, fictkins, coping people, atypically dysphoric people, roleplayers, and OCs in mind, but anyone can use.

This term is against trying to become sick or harming oneself. This term also explicitly acknowledges that this is FICTIONAL, and identifying with a xenomalady does not make you disabled or neurodivergent. This is also anti-transabled.

Wanted to make this bc I saw a lot of people, especially fictkins and fictives, lamenting about relating to this term but not wanting to be lumped in with prats and transableds. So, here ya go :]

dysfirming - coming from a mixture of the words dysphoria and affirming it is a term that means to be coping with ones atypical dysphoria in a safe way and is made to be an alternative term to transitioning specifically for those who are desirdae, dissomei, and similar. examples: "I am dysfirming to relieve my dysphoria" "I am dysfirming by tanning my skin" "I am dysfirming my identity" someone who is dysfirming would be considered a dysfirmer It can be used in a similar format to the word transition or the word affirming one who finds out they were actually that id all along can switch to the label affirming/affirmer (I want to make it very clear this term is not the same thing as transitioning and is inherently against harmful actions) @desirdae-archive

Maiself

Mai is an alternative to trans/cis identities for when one doesn't feel those terms encompass their experience for any reason. This term is not affiliated with the radqueer community, but can be used as an alternative to transid/cisid terms.

The prefix Mai comes from the word "my" (belonging to oneself) and the prefix 毎 (every/each, as in every/each day). This represents how the identity is personal and continuous.

Examples of uses

Maigirl can be used by someone who transitioned to male and then back to female who doesn't consider themself detrans, trans, or cis, just a girl.

Maiadult can be used by someone who is an adult in system but a teenager out of system. From their creation they were meant to be an adult, but physically speaking they aren't, so they don't know what term to use.

Maimexican can be used by someone who was raised in a Mexican household, regardless of if they were born there, adopted there, or fostered there. It places focus more on the cultural aspect of being Mexican rather than the physical aspect.

Gray-Purple represents neutrality

Magenta represents being beyond the norm, the same way the color is beyond the visible spectrum of light

Orange represents home and comfort, an identity which feels right and familiar

Yellow represents beginnings, new and old

White represents truth, as this is your true identity no matter what.

This identity is open to whoever, but preferably don't use it with the intention to harm others or fetishize others' experiences. Thank you!

a desirdae term for those that desire/yearn/want amputation in some way; to be amputated or be an amputee.

Reasons might include :

Medically needing/"preferring" an amputation but being denied it

Being an amputee in-sys

you can change the term to "desiramputee" or "desiramputated" if you prefer certain wording / want to be more specific ! (ex. someone might desire amputation w/o the desire to be an amputee, and vice versa)

Interexter

A term describing ones relation with ones outer self being disconnected in some way to ones inner self, with any multitude of aspects not matching up due to atypical dysphoria of some kind.

A person who feels their body's skin details do not match their inner self image, say for scars, would be scarintexter or interexscar. -intexter or -interexter being the suffix, or interex- being a prefix.

Inclusive to system alters, alterhumanity, and any and all things that may cause one atypical dysphoria.

Not a transid term. Radqueers and transx cannot touch this.

This post doesn't support any harmful transitions, only identity affirmation and a term to help describe ones dysphoria.

Etymology:

Inter -> interiore is Latin for inner

Exter -> exterius is Latin for outer

Latin is also the root of both French and Spanish which both have words starting in inter/exter for inner and outer (and are also the languages my partner and I speak <3)
