an example of a desirdae term would be...

"Desirautism" which is a term for those that desire/yearn/want autism in some way. some examples of why would be: an autistic being feeling as if they are not "autistic enough" , Those who are trying to "reconnect" to their autism due to being forced to mask , Those with atypical dysphoria etc.

note: to clear this term up it does not support harmful transitioning. It does support nonharmful transitioning such as someone with short hair trying to “transition” to long hair, or somone with autism trying to “transition” to autism due to them trying to start unmasking and showing their autistic traits more.

there is no set flag template to encourage creativity, but there is community-made ones if you prefer them.

originally coined by acetrappolaswife, now deactivated. both flag and descriptions have been simplified with as much integrity to the original as possible.

this term is NOT rad//queer friendly and was made as a safer version of trans//ids for those who want to leave the community. it is, however, not exclusive to them. if youre a proud, active rad//queer and want to use this, you literally have your equivelant of the term, go away. shoo.

Pandissomei or Pandissodic (could also be called Dissoeverything) is a dissodic term that describes someone who feels involuntarily disconnected from the entirety of their physical / current self, believing that every aspect of them should be or is something else

This could refer to feeling disconnected from each individual part of yourself, being dissoage, dissobody, dissospecies, and so on, or just feeling disconnected from yourself as a whole. You don't have to identify under each dissodic umbrella individually to be pandissomei

A term that is specific for people with BIID, psychosis, being an alter that differs from the body, atypical dysphoria, a general disconnect, etc . that causes them to have a disconnect in how they view their identity. This can also be for if your delusions or IRL attachments even that cause you to feel as if you are them exactly and have their same race/mental health issues/disabilities/etc.

This term is supportive of transitioning when it doesn't hurt others, yourself, appropriate, glorify, fetishize, or romanticize anything and is against it if it does (such as with race, ethnicity, culture, age, etc.)

Possible emoji combo: 🧠🚫🫀 The brain with the cross out and heart is to show how there is a disconnect between the two! A disconnect between internal and external.

Might be a sensitive topic, but can you do desirdead? Like, not someone who doesn't want to exist anymore, but someone who wants the benefits of not having a living, moving body anymore?

Makes me also think of subcategories, like desirundead (someone who specifically wants to have a organic body that doesn't rely on health concerns or survival) and desirspirit (someone who wants to specifically be a dead being without physical form), but you don't have to make three flags for one request if you don't want to 😅

my biggest issue right now with trans//id alternative coiners is how little care they seem to put into their terms?

like for all of them its just the usual "anti transitioning if unsafe" or "ok to transition if safe" but they never really put in the thought of or explain HOW it can be done safely or unsafely

I get its because theres this idea of quantity over quality in the mogai community, and with a lot of members disabled it can be draining to edit every single term to be personalized or even think about that stuff, but the way they dont elaborate on this stuff still feels like its more of just a saying than something theyre serious or genuine about, even if I know thats not necessarily the case. you cant truly safely 'transition' to idk dissodeath or desirpermasleep or whatever, saying 'ok to transition to if safe' is so redundant.

dysphoria relief and transitioning are different things in this case. you cant safely transition to being dead but you can safely relieve dysphoria by getting tattoos, drawing on your skin, using dead/undead terminology etc. theyre not the same thing. so people putting "ok to transition if safe" on things like that feels really ignorant if anything.

there is also the other side of the spectrum like desirblacknails saying "ok to transition to if safe". how would you transition to black nails in an unsafe way??? besides like idk using non-body safe permanent markers, and how much harm can that really do especially if short term yk?

(note, the only thing here I know exists is dissodeath, I dont mean to shame, call out or guilt trip anyone, Im just voicing a general complaint Ive been observing go around since terms like these started to pop up around last year)
