My fav thing about TAZ is that any aspect out of context sounds fucking bonkers.
Like, in the balance finale there's a scene in which Garfield (who is very specifically never described visually bc most people imagine him as like. The Lasagna Cat. Who in this universe is the most powerful warlock in the realm and also has a hobby of cloning people, which is great for the one character that got forced into haunting a mannequin) is summoned by an alien spaceship that runs on the power of friendship so he could beat up some flashing balls. In D&D.
And that was just. Such a normal scene in the narrative. No one blinked an eye. I would like to bow down to Griffins clear unmatched talent for making me feel such big emotions over ridiculous shit like a goddamned umbrella or a regular ass pair of jeans or the idea of a taco recipe.

can you elaborate on bigender hank please?
Sorry for taking so long, I was doing other stuff and it took me longer then I wanted. So also have as compensation these doodles with Bigender Hank and Transfem Tony + their friendship
Anyway, my reason for hc Hank Pym as bigender/agender is simple, BECAUSE I CAN!!!!! But also, because it feels very like in his character. He is a very close individual preferring to stay in his comfort zone than try something that he would theme ¨dangerous¨ ¨not so importing¨ ¨is not my thing¨. That's why Janet is such a good match for him, someone who will make Hank do more stuff outside his comfort zone but still respect his boundaries.
And it would be so cute if the reason why Hank discovers that he identifies as a woman too is because of Janet and Janet would still love her!!
If you wanna know why I hc Tony as transfem I'll just say that it happened in the comics like two times and in one she was happier.
@blueishyellowish I'm not much of a writer so have this art because of that cool fic!! @shapeshiftingcloud I think that you will like this 😏

@theofreakingbell pointed out that Thor 1 is basically an isekai for Thor and I've been thinking about it since. it really does meet the criteria. Thor getting banished to New Mexico, America, was an isekai setup.

hi there! i'm new to your page so idk if you do this, but i was wondering if you had any headcanons about friendship between ludwig and alfred? thank you!! :)
Oh I do indeed, Anon! I just hope I haven't left answering this too long for you to find ;u;
I think that the friendship between Alfred and Ludwig is a strange one. On the surface, it should work! They're both young, powerful new nations, both raised by far older family members who were contemporaries together, and both feel somewhat estranged to them because of it
Arthur and Gilbert, long time friends, companions, and thorns in each other's side, had very similar childhoods and experiences to the rest of Europe. Very self sufficient individuals, they raised themselves and had to fight for even the clothes on their back and they trust slowly. They're and very strict on themselves and others and have more baggage than is healthy. They then raised younger children in a similar time period, Alfred older but Ludwig still not modern, and as parents they will have had similar struggles. Alfred and Ludwig will each have loads of stories of their bumbling older sibling/ parent clashing with modern life.
Alfred and Ludwig as friends then really should work. New men against older ones, new ideas and fresh blood with dreams of being something better. But, I think although they have a lot of foundational stuff in common and have similar positions in the world, there is one huge thing that comes between them
Alfred is the new world. Alfred has grown up under old world principles and is leading the charge of the new way of things, pushing away old constraints and traditions to make his own, but Ludwig? Ludwig is surrounded by the old world, and desperately tries to blend in. Ludwig wants those traditions, Ludwig envies the old familiarity and intimacy of his European counterparts, sees it every day, and feels very much like an imposter around them. At the core of himself, he knows that they don't see him as on their level in some unspoken, undefinable way, and despite the age of the culture that he wears Ludwig wears it like an baggy old coat- small boy in big shoes to fill, a child trying to age up to the man-shaped role Gilbert held in their part of the world.
Alfred however knows who he is. Alfred is proud of his difference to Europe and compares himself to the rest of the Americas, as part of the new age of man. Ludwig doesn't have this. He is surrounded by ancient ghosts, by the silent looks and nods to in jokes and memories that he doesn't share and he tries his best to be one of them. And this difference between the two of them is jarring. Ludwig both envies Alfred and resents him, whilst also looking down on him, believing himself to be different- to be of the Old World that Alfred so proudly denies
In short, despite being younger by far, Ludwig feels and acts far older. Alfred finds him stiff and awkward, and Ludwig finds Alfred far too carefree and arrogant and, although they can get along when Ludwig relaxes and Alfred empathises, they don't naturally come together

I'm not an extrovert. At all. In everyday life, I'm a yapper, sure, but I need someone to first assure me I am okay to yap, so I don't start conversations, even when I really want to join in sometimes! It's just the social anxiety acting up. God knows where from and why I lose a lot of my inhibitions when it comes to talking to people about music. I don't know where the confidence has suddenly sprung from. I've made a crazy amount of friends in musical circles, either just talking to people about common music or (since it is after all in music circles) talking to bands about their own music. I let out a sigh of relief any time an interaction goes well, because in truth it's going against my every instinct. I wish I could do that in everyday life

shieldedfreedom asked:
"Wait...There's more...Spider...kids?" - to Miles!
Miles sits, crouched atop a lamp post looking down at Captain America. He tilts his head. "Captain America?" Miles drops down off the lamp grabbing the part he was just standing on, hanging limply still looking at Captain America. Miles then shoots a web from the hand that was holding the lamp, and slowly strung himself down from the lamp until his feet were firmly on the ground. Miles began to walk toward Capt casually then suddenly stopped.
"Waaaait. You're not one of those Hydra Captain America's are you?" Miles begins looking around at where he was at. Seeing if there was any discernable flags or emblems of hydra in plain sight. Then looks back to Captain America, watching him closely and tilting his head, but otherwise not moving a muscle.

About the rescue bots/avengers crossover. Jokes aside, I mentioned that Bucky, while thinking Captain America acting like a dad to Cody is sweet, Bucky would remind him that Cody isn't actually his son. Do you imagine any other Avengers saying that?
oohooohohhoo sorry that it took me so long
Oh for sure that would happen. It takes Bucky a lot of courage not only to say it but be serious about it. He tries not to hurt Cap but is really impossible to not make Cap shrug when he has to be reminded of that.
Some other characters who would remind Steve of that could be:
Tony, thought joking at first, he would start to notice how this affects Charlie and as a man who had problems with his father too... Tony would try to take things back before Chief losses his gears.
Hulk/Bruce is a neutral/mocking party in this situation, but they still need to bring Cap back to the ground. No matter what personality takes control, both would say the same when it comes to Steve looking at Cody as his son.
Hank, though being someone with more empathy than the rest of the Avengers and someone happy for Steve to find some familiar closure (even when is temporal) he yet can't let this affect Steve on an emotional level when is time to leave.
Zemo, in a mockery when he kidnaps Cody would trash Cap like no tomorrow, making the man that he is alone and with no family and love for himself.
Fury when he notices that Cap is becoming too close to Cody would say ¨ Remember, we leave when the mission is over¨. He means no malice, but he has to keep things straight.
Sorry again it took me so long to answer

ykw annoys me is when mrvfans say bucky is "less moral" than steve. 1) bc their reasons are always rooted in victimblaming Bck for being enslaved and having his free will stripped away, but 2) how do they think Steve learned to be the moral character he is? Bucky was the one looking out for the little kid being picked on by the bullies, protecting him not for personal gain but bc it was right. fans act like being tortured makes Bck's morals "broken" and makes him into an entirely diff character
bucky always had good morals and principles and we see that right in the first minutes of the first avenger, my guy just wanted to go to a science fair and not fight a war, always looking after his best friend and always giving him support, avoiding conflicts, etc. bucky was always a good kid, and he's just as moral as Steve, just as hero as Steve, they're different, bucky got through imaginable horror but he never choose the bad path, and it's sad that marvel still paints bucky as the "dark, morally doubtful guy" when he's clearly not.

Are there any patriotic heroes in POW-R
Captain America and Britain, iron cross, u.s.agent, Union Jack, Guardian, Lionheart, and red Guardian
In other words, heroes who wear their flag proud, To wait to see the sort of character handled is
1) someone who wears the flag is a way to show how to improve (captain America)
Or 2) someone who blindly follows their country (u.s.agent when he was Superpatriots)
I know I had an idea for a hero that was just
"Extreme Patrotism"
I have done nothing with that idea however I'd say there's plenty of heroes who are very patriotic in both those senses. Queen likely calls them suck ups.

I think you could probably trace a distinct correlation between how good a superhero movie is and how likely audiences are to refer to the main character by their first name as opposed to their superhero name.
