I know TAZ has some completely epic lines that resonate with people like the “I saw seven birds” speech and “Our capacity for love increases” speech but what’s everyone’s favorite stupid line that for some reason lodged in your head beyond the others I’ll start 

Mine is when Taako and Barry are talking in the Beach Episode and Taako says “Barold… Barold…. I rolled an Eleven Barold, you have to tell me.”

Been thinking about how the Stolen Century is what perfectly completes Taako as a layered character. I know Lup is the most obvious part of that, but I think his speech about how everyone around him is just walking dust is SOOO crucial to who he is

Reflected upon my last post, and realized that some people may take umbrage to the idea that Emmrich Dreadway *isn't* sexy, so to sate my curiosity here I'm putting this question to the other TAZ fans.

And if you have a particular reason to vote the way you do, I invite you to expand upon your answer in the tags or replies! I'm considering making a 2nd poll if I get some common themes in the reasonings.

chapter 1 is up!! with a scope that includes but is not limited to a Barry nightmare (because we have to give other characters insecurities and trauma too, and even more importantly, throw in found family cuddles for balance!)

amnesiac barry bluejeans is still one of the most existentially fucked up characters of all time to me. you wake up with a gaping hole in your memories, naked in a tank in a cave that screams "dark magic and horrific experiments." your own voice tells you you've lost more than you can imagine, and you sound like you know what you're talking about. you run away from that place, knowing you're on a death mission. wishing you didn't have to wonder what happened to you — how some nobody like you got caught up in something so terrifying and incomprehensible, something so much bigger than you.

and then, you die. and you realize it's the other way around. you are the terrifying, incomprehensible thing that the fate of the world has been caught in. and you've just failed. again.

i will say this until i’m blue in the face but i love the reoccurring motifs in taz balance like. shut the fuck up what do you mean crystal kingdom happened bc a son loved his mom. what do you mean the eleventh hour happened bc a dad loved his daughter. because a mom wanted to be with her babies again. what do you mean that so much of everything was built upon the voidfish wanting to be with its child.
