so i was just watching a video about space, right? allegedly, turns out if you (an american) wanna board the international space station you must speak russian fluently since the only way to get there is by a russian shuttle and pilot (nasa apparently ended their own shuttle program way back when??) (don’t quote me on this)

so picture danny learning russian at a relatively young age for the sole hope of going to space and such, and it coming out every once in a while when he’s mumbling or something like that (it’s basically second nature to him)

so danny ends up at gotham for whatever reason (demon twins, reveal gone wrong, idc, they’re all cool) and he wants to start anew, so he pretends to only speak russian?? ig?? it’d make for some funny/interesting BatFam interactions i suppose

It's honestly frustrating that I've seen non-Russian queer people almost bragging about how they would be illegal in Russia, labeled an extremist or terrorist. Who even knows what's still undiscovered in currently occupied territories.

Call me crazy, but I don't feel like you're principally concerned about fighting fascism if one thing deeply occupies your mind, but not the other. You're not anti-fascist, you're pro-Russian. Neo-nazism is a problem in every European country, to various degrees, but that's not why Ukraine was invaded. Almost like Russia is a former empire that might have motivations that are more expansionist in nature and has, among all other Great accomplishments, subjugated 30% of the entire continent of Asia and forcibly russified every territory it ever conquered or annexed, in Ukraine through repeated systematic suppression of the Ukrainian language for example. I spoke Russian 20 years of my life and went to a Russian-speaking school and not once did I think I'm Russian. In fact I was mocked by Russians for my pronounciation and borrowing certain Ukrainian words which is typical for the region.
