The Old Guard 2 *spoilers*

This is just a formless rant. Spoilers below the cut!

Okay wow that was a trip.

We started off strong. Nile dressed as Kim Possible. Copley on a mission! Nicky/Joe speaking Italian! Story about a funny death of Booker's! Nile's compassion towards Booker! The thumb thing!! Climbing the wall like a badass! It lacked the precision you would expect from a team that's done this thousands of time, and not a lot of teamwork except between Joe and Nicky, but I could forgive that.

The car chase had Joe calling him Nicolo!! At no point did anyone speak Arabic which is... A choice... Of the racist kind... But hearing both Joe and Nicky's full first name's was nice.

And the drinking scene was cute. We got Joe and Nicky being married AF. The focus is on Andy, with Nile supporting, I could get behind that.

That line Andy says about being at peace was a little cliche in that well obviously now something is going to come blow that up and we know it's Quynh, so I guess there was no point trying to be subtle about that.

From there it just seemed to go downhill.

Nicky being the grudge holder makes perfect sense but idk why else he thought Joe was sneaking around. Their argument lacked the familiarity you would expect from a couple that has been together a thousand years. "you've always been too forgiving," or "I should have known you would follow me," nothing. The speech from Nicky was nice but I was hoping for a stronger reaction from Joe, or an apology for lying, or God forbid a kiss when they are not in mortal peril.

Why has no one else ever dreamed of Discord or Tuah and speaking of what kind of dumb moniker is Discord anyway?!

Wouldn't Nile or booker know if Quynh has been free for months??

Booker's rescue was so anticlimactic. Quyhn wants to hurt everyone but doesn't torture him?? What was the point of the new clothes other than to make booker look as European as possible. Why didn't booker ask for Andy to pick him up if the point was to just be messenger?

Tuah seemed like he was just a plot device. Not much personality. He's supposedly researched immortals but has not ever talked to Joe or Nicky or Booker or Nile or Quynh? And doesn't see Andy often I assume. How can you track their impact if you aren't told about their missions. Or their life. I guess he's the bystander immortal complement to Yitzhak in the comics, but he seemed like just a way to convey info about discord.

Which. Discord and tuah saw Quynh being taking away and 1) didn't help and 2) didn't help find her?? Wild. I have a hard time believing that Quynh didn't know discord was using her. And having Quynh work for her took away so much of her agency. She's free after 500 years, I was expecting hell-hath-no-fury-from-a-woman-scorned, not passively putting the bomb down after cursing out andromache only once. She could have been glorious.

The plot about the myth was dumb. 6 months since Nile has joined the team and not once has she sparred against Joe or Nicky and injured them? That's all I'm going to say about that. It was dumb.

Booker immediately trying to be mortal and transfer it to Andy was very in character. He didn't stop to think about it or tell anyone, which yeah makes sense for him. HOWEVER he didn't attempt to say bye to anyone which is crazy to me. Joe and Nicky were his brothers, not one awkward I missed you hug and nothing to nile? Also what was that cold shoulder comment from him. He knows what he did. He knew he betrayed them, he said in the last movie he expected a longer punishment. So why is he acting like he doesn't know why they won't forgive him?

Having the entire plot turn out to be because she wants her immortality back is just. Wild.

It's shallow? Or hollow, idk, but there's no substance there?? She said all that crap about them playing God... But wants to be immortal again? For what? She doesn't claim to want power, it's just immortality for no purpose.

We got Booker's death drawn out, and see Andy's emotions about it, but wow they did not grant booker much dignity there in the end. And no time for mourning afterward, there was no mention of Andy going back for him or for Copley. I was expecting a burial or something, but you only see that she took Quynh with her.

And the movie ending where it did was... Blegh. We waited 5 years for that?? If they don't make a third to have everyone be rescued imma be upset.

As someone who made this movie and the comics their entire personality for awhile I had a lot of feelings about this movie and had to get this out!

That’s my whole motivation for this blog, after years of searching the depths of the internet for old stuff and running into dozens of dead links (why!! @alwayssunnyfxx !? why did you privatise/delete so many videos!?) and watching almost every social media site fall apart to bad AI search and bots, I want a place where that’s not going to happen (as long as Blogger stays in existence, I guess)

It’s definitely a work in progress, and there’s still a lot to come, to be added and collected, scripts included, but hopefully we will soon have a great resource and fun and interesting site for the community, and a place for great future content and, of course, Season 17+ updates :)

haven’t been on tumblr (neither this account or my other one) in a hot minute.

I want to be more present on here but goodness gracious! The suggested tag section on the dashboard is such a drag to look at! (and since I reblogged some pf on my new account it put both boys’ tag on my feed, which means still seeing things I have deliberately blocked).

Honestly, what was the point in leaving this account if I’m still having the same issues? (I know I wanted a fresh start, but that’s another story lol)

I’ve been trying to figure out how to use my accounts since both are in a similar state right now. Might just use this one as the equivalent of a sort-of personal account (maybe to sometimes look at pf too?) and my other one for more aesthetic purposes (and to keep it from continuing to have the same dashboard issue…)? Idk, I’m always flip flopping (and forgetting things…). I will figure this out! eventually.

On a better note, life has been a bit better than it was the last few months? Less time spent staring at my phone and less time spent in fandom spaces is obviously going to be good for your mental health, so no surprise there!

Also, I have a few mutuals I haven’t followed back yet (I keep forgetting…) on my new account and wanted to know if it was ok to follow back from there? Some I’ve already reestablished mutuals with, so this next part is more directed at those I haven’t:

Or is it because he looks too hot while he really gets into the song? For you, it’s the latter. 

Choso lets himself loose as his mind, body and soul embrace the song. It becomes an issue for him to stay close to the microphone, until he realizes his vocals come up. He’s sweaty, his eyeshadow smudged and running down his cheeks; it’s a look that drives the fangirls wild, and you can’t exactly blame them for it.

They get louder when they hear Choso’s voice, and you wonder if it drives Suguru insane that even though he’s the lead vocalist, he doesn’t get as much attention as Choso. There’s just something about Choso that has everyone in a trance. He looks so seductive even when he barely tries.

The song ends, and the crowd cheers, wanting more from the band. For a moment the only thing you hear is the crowd chanting Choso’s name. You don’t understand why they go wild over him, but then again, you guess that the lack of knowledge about him makes him intriguing. However, you know all you need to know about him. 

“I really don’t get why they go so crazy over him! I’d argue that Getou is hotter.” You yell to your friend, and she rolls her eyes. She knows you’re just talking to talk because given the option, you always choose Choso.

The noise dies as the sound of the bass begins again. All eyes are on Choso until Suguru begins to sing. Your eyes stay on Choso, and his eyes scan the crowd until they land on you. A smile comes onto his face as you maintain eye contact. His eyes finally look away, looking down at his guitar. You know you’ll be seeing each other later.

Just to tease you, he does something that he rarely does. Something that makes the crowd get louder, his tongue running up the neck of his guitar. You roll your eyes as your cheeks get hot. You fucking hate him. 

You have no issue getting backstage after the show. The security guard looks at your friend funny, but he knows you so he assumes that she’s okay to pass. He doubts that anyone will have a problem since you’re beloved among the band members.

“Hi, Lexi.” You wave at the woman who talks with her boyfriend. Suguru’s arm is thrown over her shoulders while they head to the door that you just walked through. She waves at you, blowing a kiss your way before focusing on her boyfriend again. 

“Where’s Gojo?” Your friend asks, her eyes searching for the white haired man, after all, she joined you just because she knew you could get her the opportunity to talk to Satoru. You were going to come either way since Choso sent you a message, it didn’t hurt for her to tag along. 

You’re about to help her, but your eyes land on Choso. There’s a subtle smile on his face when he notices you. He walks toward you, and you completely ignore your friend as she continues asking about Satoru. She rolls her eyes, knowing damn well that you were acting tough and annoyed as everyone chanted Choso’s name because according to you he isn’t a big deal. It’s clear jealousy.

From what she knows, you and Choso have an unusual friendship– Which is another way of saying that you’re friends with benefits. You both came to an agreement where you could use each other’s bodies with no strings attached, however, tonight it might all come to an end. Whether you like it or not. 

“I’m glad to see you here.” Choso says as you give him a side hug. You don’t like to get too touchy while others are around. He still kisses the top of your head, before he looks at your friend. “Who did you bring with you tonight?”

“Just my friend. She wants to meet Gojo.” You tell him, as his fingers intertwine with yours. Choso calls out for Satoru, hoping that the sooner your friend meets Satoru, the sooner you’ll get out of the place. Although getting out of the place so soon isn’t the best idea since there’s still an army of fans outside that will do just about anything to get a picture with Choso. 

The band’s popularity has increased over the past couple of months, and suddenly Choso always has someone throwing themselves at him. It ticks you off more than you’d like to admit. 

“What?” Satoru asks, clear annoyance in his voice. He notices you and he begins to approach you to give you a hug, but it earns a glare from Choso. All the members know you well and they consider you a good friend, which means they all know your situation with Choso. When Satoru notices the look, he sticks with a simple greeting. “Hey.”

“Hi, Gojo.” You smile at him. You then point to your friend, informing him, “She’s here to meet you.”

“Are you her ride home?” Choso questions, and you shake your head in response. She brought you here knowing that you would go your separate ways after the concert. She saw the message that Choso had left on your phone, and she urged you to come. “Does that mean we can leave?”

“I think so.” You answer. You still check to see if she’s okay being left alone with Satoru before leaving. When she says yes, you lead Choso out of the building. Your eyes stare at the case of his guitar and you ask, “Do you need help? I’m really strong, just so you know.”

He laughs, “No doubt about it, but I can handle it.”

“You’re in a hurry.” Choso comments when you step outside. He takes the lead, dragging you to his car. 

“Weren’t you the one that was asking if we could leave?” You chuckle, and he laughs as well. He opens the trunk to put the case in before walking to the passenger door and opening it for you. He watches you get inside before he shuts the door for you. He nearly runs to the driver’s side, embarrassingly impatient.

“Do you want to join Lexi and Suguru tonight? Or what do you want to do?” Choso isn’t exactly the person to go hang out with his friends after a concert, especially at a bar. But he knows that you like that sort of stuff, so he sticks with you until you’re ready to go back home– Or back to his apartment, whichever place is closest to the place you’re hanging out in.

“Can we just go back to your place?” You respond, your eyes focused on his side profile. You were too jealous earlier to admire just how good he looks tonight.

“Can we talk about–” He begins, but you grab the collar of his shirt and put your lips on his before he can finish his sentence. You know he wants to talk about the message that he sent, something that made you want to stay home tonight. Can we talk about us? Or something along those lines, you just know that you don’t want to change this perfect arrangement.

Your tongue enters his mouth, pressing against his while your hands go to his belt. He doesn’t know why you’re so eager tonight, it doesn’t click in his head. Maybe the little trick from earlier worked to rile you up, and he’s certain that it was that when you unbutton his pants and begin to pull them down.

Sans is a Darkner but Papyrus Isn't. Sans is secretly a Human but Papyrus Isn't. Sans is a Boss Monster (like Asgore and Toriel) but Papyrus Isn't. HELL SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE SANS IS IN THE ROYAL GUARD AND PAPYRUS ISN'T AND THAT'S HOW THEY JUSTIFY THINKING SANS IS PAID AND PAPYRUS IS NOT.

i seriously did not want to do this but if i'm gonna be talked abt behind the scenes, and if ppl i follow are going to start turning on me because of one actual psychopath that has not left me alone for 3 weeks, i'm gonna say my piece because it is not fair to know that i am being painted in a bad light, when i have been a victim, and my friends have been dragged into this because every time, it is made public.

all of this has happened in a span of twenty one days. here's my proof.

this is a server that one of my close friends and most adored people (who, again, like anyone else mentioned in this, should not have been dragged into this fucking tirade) created for spn fans on discord to cultivate a fun little community and to make friends. she acquired the link, i don't know who invited her or if somehow she just found the link if it was posted and joined herself, but she showed up.

four days into her being there, i tell the server, i'm making a mr. & mrs. smith inspired jackles bot. i'd more say 3, because i posted it at midnight that day. eleven hours later, she says 'i wanna make a mr. & mrs. smith dean bot.' so my whole idea. and i am not a confrontational person by nature, so i was trying to lightly discourage without straight up saying no, because i did not know this girl. it'd been a little over 3 days.

i have the person i was replying to blurred because i'm actually sick of people getting dragged into this that did not have any reason to be put in between her shit with me, whatever the hell that may be.

here is me lightly trying to deny it but not outright saying no, and maybe that's on me, but who in their right mind sees someone else's idea and eleven hours later just blatantly copies it?

and she did copy it. word for word. this is my intro message on the left, and this is hers on the right. it's literally word for word, practically, with the lines lining up and everything.

so i'm angry. i don't care abt follower account but now i'm going to look like the thief because at this point, i'm not anywhere near big. like 300 followers. which again, don't care about, but sometime between the span of this above and what's coming, she'd been posting abt a milestone very close to 1k. that is a clear difference, and an abuse of the writing channel, that is supposed to have been a safe place for us to share our ideas.

i don't say anything about this, though. my breaking point is when she discovers my bonnie & clyde au and says she wants to make a bot based on it. which maybe i would have said yes to someone else, but she'd stolen my idea already before, word for word, and i wasn't in the mood. so i politely told her no, and that i was planning on making bots out of all of my aus. and she goes something like, "oh, that's fine, i just really liked the idea is all." i have deleted our dms on discord because i didn't want her reaching out to me again, which does come up!

anyways, i think it's cool. i'm thinking she's not going to take anything else, because i denied her one thing, so maybe this was just a one-off.

she posts this into the writing server, like she's showing off that she made the bot anyways / had made it already in the short span of time it took me to reply to her, and was trying to get hype for it??? or something?? or rub it in my face that she made it anyways? i don't know her motives. for anything that happens in this.

not to mention, she made a mr. & mrs. smith dean pt two in this time, for some reason. again, not her idea.

but going back to the above screenshot, that's her chatting with bonnie & clyde!dean. please look here at a screenshot of my fic, literally making it clear that whatever the intro she used for this, it was identical, because the interaction here is identical to my writing.

the day before this, december 1st, she was also asking me to tell her abt the au, but i'm not going to downright say that it was to stake out stuff to steal, but looking back, it seems like it.

so by this point, i'm angry! really angry! because every idea i mention in that chat, gets stolen by her. so i make this post. kind of infamous when it comes to future things.

immediately, she knows it's about her, because she's messaging me everywhere. i. do. not. engage. behind the scenes, i'm talking to people in the server abt it, because i literally am being stolen from and expected to take it! so she gets kicked.

this causes her to message me even more. this causes her to make an entire post ( now deleted by ppl in the server's request, because we thought once 'resolved', it would be resolved ) tagging every single person in the server. not just me, not just the people who came forward or the server's owner, but everyone who has no idea what's going on. trying to pitch her case.

her case being, by the way, that the reason she copied me was because of photographic memory. i feel like i have a screenshot of this but can't find it, and also don't want to keep using all my limited picture spaces. but if i find it and you want to see it, i will show it.

she gets let back into the server on a warning. it's like a 3 strike system, i imagine, which this is where things get psychotic! like genuinely!

the very day that i tell her no to the bonnie & clyde thing, i get this in my inbox.

on god, never before have i been told this ever. and i'm supposed to believe that it's not a coincidence, when the only person i've 'wronged' on tumblr so far is her, and just for calling her out on her shit? i've literally been on tumblr for maybe 2 months maximum at this point. like i only know a handful of people, and most are in this server.

so i move on. whatever. one of my friends from the server makes a post ( that i rb-ed, but i'm not gonna link it because again, i'm keeping them out of this if i can, but it's also on my page still ) in my defense, because genuinely, it is not that fucking serious to tell a fanfic writer to kill themselves.

after she posts it, she gets an anon telling her to track them. and then one telling her to kill herself. again, i'm not posting who's doing this, but she responded to it, and it's on her account if you need to see more proof.

so you might be thinking, how do you know this is her? it's a lot of circumstantial evidence and gut feelings. and yes, i did doubt it at the time that maybe it wasn't, and i was just paranoid, but literally sometime last week, she not only:

messaged me 4 times privately on discord to reply to a question i already answered (being like do you think i'm a bad person? or something like that. but i answered it! and she added something on the end that i didn't see because i was busy and in a different timezone.)

tagged me twice in the server to try and get my attention for this question.

private messaged me here on tumblr.

sent an ask, which i do still have & a screenshot in case it gets deleted btw, about it.

MADE. A THROWAWAY ACCOUNT. BAITING ME INTO REPLYING TO IT. it was a comment abt a fic, so i said thank you, and within 3 fucking minutes max, she sent me ANOTHER message on discord saying "please stop ignoring me." THE ACCOUNT NOW, IS GONE. SO THAT'S HOW I KNOW IT'S HER. you will see later, too, that this is fitting for her character.

i know that screenshot is not much to go off of, but that account did not follow me, did not even like or interact with that fic. i remember taking that screenshot because i was like, there's no way this is her, like actually no way, because the first message to get me to say anything was just like a compliment. and the moment i replied, she messages me, and after i message back, i get the above response. i hope this makes sense.

this is her strike 2, by the way, because i was getting harassed and i wasn't going to sit there and be like yeah this is fine that this is happening to me. i am six hours, maybe more, behind her timewise. as you can see in the screenshot, it was 1:27 am for me.

so all of this happens, and she's getting increasingly more passive aggressive. she keeps bringing up CONSTANTLY that none of us interact with her things anymore, which is crazy to me, because she hardly interacted with ours but expected things back for her. not to mention, of course i wasn't going to interact with someone the same after that someone stole my shit.

all of this leads to december 17th, which yes, was yesterday. which i'm assuming is her big crashout because it's the only reason i can think of anything else that it could be??? but me and a lot of the other server members get anons like this. which is why, like i said earlier, i am convinced the kys is her. this one is the one i received.

and these are a couple that my friends did.

none of us reply, and she's spamming in the chat asking if we got anything, and we all deny it, because we know it's her. like, who else comes into other people's asks to talk shit on someone else? it makes no sense. especially people that the anon wouldn't have known? that she was friends with? i wasn't even in her little intro tagged post, like a lot of the server was before now, so it's literally a dead giveaway that this is her.

when she gets to me, though, after being told i think twice that no, none of us received anything, tumblr must have eaten it, her message changes. and she's like "i just got a second ask telling me that you definitely got one." and when i asked to see the screenshot of the ask that name drops me, she says she deleted it. like how convenient, right?

so this is where things get absolutely mental. more so than they are.

the dani era. shortlived but absolutely insane. suddenly she's leaving her account, as you probably saw from one of her posts that's now deleted, but i might have a screenshot.

you can't really see it but she changed her server name to dani too, and you might have seen her account before literally this afternoon, was daniisms. so again, she is kicked, because suddenly handing off your account to a stranger is weird and violates the rules. i am not in charge of the kicking, by the way, if for some reason you think i am. i literally am just a person in the server who for some reason was targetted? idk.

i don't want to air out her shit but this is the reasoning she provided for why she was quitting and 'dani' was taking over. sorry it's so small i was on my laptop n so it's just. like that.

in a later message, she brings up how specifically she is depressed... because of lack of engagement from us. literally. and i get that that's upsetting, but she just handed over her whole account allegedly? because of it? that's insane to me.

so after she's kicked, she starts messaging some of us on discord, i got an ask.

this, also, is still in my drafts, because i was going to privately be like arty this is actually clinical please seek help, but it wouldn't let me post it privately so i didn't! because i never wanted! any of this! public! from the very beginning!

also you can see there, the username change. so a lot of us block her. i didn't because i wanted to see if being kicked and no longer apart of the server would make her give it up, which yeah, i should have, but i give a lot of benefit of the doubt if you can't tell, when all it does is bite me in the ass.

because a lot of people got blocked, she made an account called bella-oftheball, and only followed two people from the server, commented on one of my random fics, and on the account right now, her only like is another person from the server's. not to mention, the header on the account is literally exactly her edit style. again. blocked.

so this morning. all of us are getting messages from arty again, suddenly back on her account, and claiming that all of this is a hacker. that she hasn't even been here for weeks. so this is the first time she's seeing any of this allegedly and she's confused, doesn't understand why she's gone from the server, her discord account's deleted...

still here in my friends list. lol. and she's in my asks, as you can see where i answer it. so you can see her exact defense and then her in the comments.

now i just want you to tell me why a hacker would:

post all of her drafts

target a spn tumblr writing acct??? like?

and none of her sideblogs ?

make up ANOTHER persona aka the friend named dani.

go through the effort of liking some of our things when she did, and interacting with all of us in the server???

because hackers usually idk. delete the entire accounts. or post awful things on someone else's accts. they wouldn't just run it like their own ??????

so yeah. she's back on tumblr btw, as artyandink, as arty. i'm posting this because her intro message has changed to no longer have any of the server ( not me, never me, and i wonder why! ) but people that i know she's telling all of this too and painting not only me as a bad guy, but also my friends who literally only are involved because they were defending me. dragged into this shit for daring to believe me.

i am making this both in my defense and as a warning. please be careful around this person! she switches identities on a dime to fit her narrative, will harass you if you don't answer fast enough, will harass you if you say anything she doesn't like, and will literally torment your entire friend group if she deems fit, as a form of sick pleasure or something. again, i don't know her motive, just that i've been going through this behind the scenes for 3 fucking weeks, all for it to lead up to this, and to have me being pinned by her to people that do not know a thing about this because it was NEVER MEANT. Anyway here is my aimless, ‘analysis’ on Color and why he lives, why he may seem focused on Killer, but also why that’s just his character to be outwardly focused on others and rarely allowing any bits of his internal self to slip through, likely because he just doesn’t genuinely think of himself outside of anything involving the six human souls and their needs, and doesn’t really expect others to be much interested in him either. He views himself as easily forgettable and replaceable, even as it’s the things he fears and dreads most.

I’m typing as I think so I’ll probably clean it up later if yall don’t understand.

But he also fears failure. Failing to save people, failing to protect them. Saving Killer is something he’d do for anyone, but it also provides a sense of closure for him.

And stuff on my end copy pasted from Discord,

I wonder if he expected to die when he absorbed the souls, and then he never expected to get or be free. I wonder how listless he was before meeting killer. was he only living for others.

People say colors character is only about killer but that’s only because 1. Some refuse to look into his AU. And 2. Color didn’t exactly have much of anyone else??

For all intents and purposes his home isn’t his home. He knows them but they don’t know him and he has no reason to live in canon actual animated othertale (where he doesn’t know killer or the epic sanses) besides once again ensuring that they’re all safe from this new threat when we meet him.

(Edited:) It’s even implied he’s only still alive after his last escape attempt, however long ago (since it’s implied that Color has been with Gaster in the Void for like 17-20 years at least), because of Gaster. Either he was trying to kill himself, or he was willing to risk dying.

but once that was gone, what was he going to do. they still don’t know him, anything about him, and he doesn’t know them. They’re so different from how he remembers.

He has no one. They’re alive but they’re not. He’s risked everything for them and he was happy to die doing do so but he didn’t. What’s he supposed to do with himself now. There’s no place for him in the world, and the world doesn’t even seem to want or need him anymore.”

It’s worth noting that Othertale only exists as it does, instead of being normal Undertale, precisely because Sans/Color was kicked out, patched over, forgotten, erased, replaced by Undyne and then it all moved on without him.

So even in my hc that Color leaves Othertale, takes Core Frisk’s offer to join the Omega Timeline, and became Delta’s roommate; he was still at his lowest point, and didn’t even reach anything resembling a high point until meeting Killer.

He can see Killer, but no one else seems to. He wants to help, and he wants to understand. No one else is gonna pursue this, help Killer—those who have tried have failed. He reasons for helping killer are born from moral principles, past experiences, the belief that no one else would (for valid reasons), and even those who don’t even think Killer needs, wants to be, or deserves to be saved.

Similar to Vi from Arcane, who was thrown into prison for her developmental teenage years, coming out not realizing everything has changed, that her sister has changed, and unwilling to accept that powder has grown up and has a new name.

But unlike Vi, who attempts to make everything go back to the way it was, color just..avoids it. Leaves, away from it, goes looking for something new.

His need for something new comes from having spent years in what amounts to basically solitary confinement, where everything was the same over and over, until eventually even the suicide escape attempts and breakdowns became more of the same.

So while Color makes Killer feel wanted, needed, safe, cared for, loved, validated, protected—Killer makes Color feel seen, heard, remembered, important, needed, fascinating, valued. Seen and valued. They make eachother feel understood.

I think similar to Vi, Color is a caretaker, a protector, of individuals and communities he happens to stray into on his wandering trips—he’s terrified of failure, but also craves acknowledgement for what hes always tried his best to do.

If he’s not looking for something new, not wanting to stay in the same place forever, he’s trying to use his life and freedom to give the six kids keeping him alive a second chance at living—he’s not obligated to anyone, unlike Dream is (being a guardian of positivity), he’s just some ridiculously powerful guy. An afterthought in his own story, because it wasn’t his story, but a major part in Killer’s.

He doesn’t help others only because he wants acknowledgement, but also because it’s just what he thinks is right, but having his efforts acknowledged cements that he’s still real, still existing. That he hasn’t been forgotten. And I just think Killer is particularly skilled at making him feel appreciated, and valued.

He’d do it this for everyone in Killer’s place, who asked him for help. He’d help them to the best of his ability, and he wouldn’t ask for or expect anything.

But Killer gives it to him, knowing he’d never ask for it — because he can see Color, and that he likes being seen, and is maybe even suprised that Killer would see him the way he does. And Killer likes seeing Color—would like to see everything about Color. Not just his souls or his code.

Killer makes Color feel like he isn’t just a step outside the rest of world, or like he isn’t a ghost— or more like, killer stepped outside the world with him and joined him there. Color’s eye doesn’t look through Killer, and Killer’s gaze doesn’t drift right over Color.

This is not accounting for the HC that Color and Delta are roommates, of course, which would change some things—mainly in that Delta would’ve seen Color at all his lowest points and would’ve been the one taking care of Color—and a lot of how Color takes care of Killer may even be somewhat inspired by his relationship with Delta, but again that’s hc and im mainly focusing on the bits we have in canon.

I’ll probably expand on this part in a bit, but I think it’d be the Epic Sanses (and maybe even the Abyss Team) that teach Color to live for himself and what he wants—and he goes on to use that to help Killer.

I hate having to wonder if any space even slightly system-adjacent is safe for me. Not even as a self-proclaimed endo. As someone who doesn’t label their origin because I don’t feel like analyzing my entire life with a microscope for if I actually count as traumatized.

I joined a Moon Knight discord because I want to maybe talk about the character and don’t know any fans in real life. They have a role for systems. But I’m scared to take it. Searching the terms “endo” and “endogenic” only brought up negativity. I don’t want to be caught in syscourse if it gets brought up again. I still don’t understand how you can have read all the comics and have come out of it still anti-endo. But that’s another story.

I’m reminded of the time that I left a discord for The Brave Little Toaster because of a prominent anti-endo in it. We’re literally here to discuss cartoon sentient appliances. Why do you care if endos interact with you. I hate it.

I've been thinking about how to answer this for a while...

First, right off the bat, I will tell you that there are plenty of places that are open to all kinds of plurality if you look. But you do have to look, unfortunately. It's not going to be clear immediately where those places are going to be. Obviously, any plural server that is dedicated specifically to endogenic and mixed origin systems is probably going to be safe. But it's going to get more complicated as you venture out from there.

Once you do get out of there, you might have to make room for yourselves.

And that means asking yourself if it's worth it to fight for your place in the community. And knowing that you could very easily end up dogpiled and banned anyways if the community is against you.

Let's say that you were out in the server as pro-endo. What is the worst thing that could happen? Well, I guess it's that everyone gangs up on you and accuses you of faking. But if this happens, you can at least be prepared for it. And it will hopefully not be as bad if it's expected.

You could also respond by linking and quoting academic sources that discuss endogenic and non-disordered systems.

Eric Yarbrough's Transgender Mental Health is the most explicit source stating for a fact that you can be plural without trauma or a disorder. And it has the backing of being peer-reviewed and published by the American Psychiatric Association. You can also quote the boundaries with normality from the ICD-11, which make it clear that you can experience multiple distinct personality states without a disorder.

You can also point out how Moon Knight is himself a mixed origin system. I'm sure that could stir up some fun discussion.

You can work to educate people in that space, and maybe make them more accepting. And maybe you will fail anyways. That's part of the problem of taking any risk. But really, there isn't much risk for trying aside from people saying mean things to you.

I mean, sure, they could ban you. But you probably wouldn't have stayed in a space you didn't feel safe in regardless.

To be clear, I'm not saying this to pressure you into a confrontation you don't want to be in. It is totally valid to take care of your mental health first. If you don't want to be involved in syscourse, you shouldn't have to involve yourself in it. That is completely 100% fair.

I guess what I'm really getting at is that... It absolutely sucks that more spaces aren't just accepting by default... But there aren't going to be any spaces that are accepting without people who are willing to educate others. That absolutely doesn't have to be you. Again, nothing wrong with prioritizing yourself and your mental health. But it will have to be someone. If these spaces that hold bigoted views aren't even exposed to anyone with contrary opinions, they will never change. Because no one can possibly realize that they are wrong about something without education. Misinformation has never been corrected by silence.

Again, this is not me trying to get you to be the one to break the silence. I don't want it to come off that way. But I want to explain why there are a lot of servers with anti-endo views still today. In some cases, it is just irrational hate and bigotry. And these people will double down no matter what research they are presented with to the contrary. But in other cases, it is being misinformed. It is people whose only frame of reference for what endogenic systems are has come from anti-endos.

If you look at queer acceptance, it didn't just come out of nowhere. Queer people had to fight at every turn to achieve what they did. And the fight is still far from over. But if you look at virtually every place that is accepting of queer people today, it is that way because someone decided to fight for it. Because someone made an effort to educate and spread information. And doing this put themselves at risk. Not just risk of enduring mean words, but risk of being beaten or jailed for what they were, if not much worse.

These types of physical risks don't exist online. But it still holds true that if we want acceptance, we will have to put the work in. I wish that we could have been born in a century where someone else had already done all of this. Where systems of all kinds were already fully accepted. But sadly, we aren't there yet.

And that means that it will fall to us, to this community, to be an instrument of change that will let systems in the future be born into a world that we wish we had been born into.

This is a Highschool DC AU, this is mostly about young DC heroes like Young Justice! This is a big project me and Yuno finally brought to daylight, thanks to the encouragement from a few friends of ours. They are also part of this au as characters.

- if a canon character is already taken then don’t bother making your own version of it, we won’t accept them. The reason being is that it will be so confusing for us and keeping track of it, it’s better if we keep it simple.

Older characters

- we accept older characters, like Bruce, dick or Wally. However they won’t be too much focused on as young DC characters are the main voice of the Roleplay, I won’t allow Bruce as a teenager so don’t even try, this will make it weird since we already have a Damian.

- you will get instantly reported and blocked, this is a high school au, most characters are under the age of 18-19.

Hi, hello! I've been a little inactive here - but I promise I am not abandoning or quitting writing! I've just been busy! I moved to overnights, officially and am now finally adjusting to my new schedule (and got the clearance to finally have my laptop with me!). I am on a brain worky medication now too.

That said, I am here to make a teeny tiny advertisement if anyone is interested - awhile ago, some friends and I were talking about Genshin Impact and I made mention that I'd like more adults only spaces for GI that feels like community and not so much of a struggle to keep up so! We went ahead and created it!

I don't know if Tumblr still doesn't list posts with links but I'll still try anyways and give you a summary of what to expect for the server:

So while it is Genshin Impact focused, there are channels + threads focused on other games (WuWa, HSR, ZZZ, and Infinity Nikki) with the possibility of adding more as time goes on + if enough members need/want it.

We aim to be casual group with allowing people to stream their pulls, do co-op, plan game or movie nights!

We're ship friendly and do not allow shipping drama at all - there are some exceptions as it will be laid out in the rules pretty clearly! Yes, even self-ship is accepted and encouraged (by this mod, who shamelessly ships themself with Diluc and sometimes Neuvilette).

We are LGBT+ friendly and ran and have no tolerance for anything anti-LGBT and we are working to foster an inclusive community. For adults.

Did you ever expect your RTN au to become such a big universe? How did it happen? I'm really curious!

I definitely didn't expect it to take off the way it did! It's one of those things where I sometimes sit back, really look at the numbers, and feel a sense of pleasant shock all over again.

For reference, there are just over 100 fics in/bookmarked to the Road to Nowhere Extended Universe collection, a mind-boggling number of artworks posted online or exclusively to the Discord (link here or in the fic notes for anyone interested in joining us!!), and an additional 175k words of RtN-related snippets compiled in the server that haven't been published on Ao3. I can't count the number of times I've read and reread fics/snippets and scrolled through the artwork because I love it all so much. There are so many talented people who've contributed to the universe and I'm lucky to count many of them as my friends now.

As for how it happened... it's hard to say for sure, but I'm guessing it was a combination of a few factors, starting with the way Katoshi works as a character. He's not an OC, but he can kind of function like one: writing Katoshi is different than writing purely Kakashi or Hitoshi, and he even comes with his own unique visual design. It makes it easy to create something that's distinctly RtN instead of vaguer ideas or tropes.

The server has an RtN-AU channel I created for people to go nuts with whatever ideas they wanted to, and I was pretty open from the start that anyone's welcome to write recursive works if they wanted to. My now good friend @asteroid-duck took me up on that, wrote an RtN gift fic for my birthday (that I still reread regularly), and things took off from there! I think it helps that there are a lot of encouraging people in the server that will cheer you on if you're thinking of writing something, and now there's an established audience you can write for.

My attitude towards inspired works is probably another thing, lol. I actively encourage people to create recursive works and have an open policy around it: I'm not going to police what people want to make, I'm not gonna get upset or nitpick if I personally disagree with someone's headcanon or characterization, and I don't expect everything to cater to my own preferences. Sure, I enjoy it most when works include things I like, but I'll just click out if it's not for me.

Anyway, if you're not in the server, you should come check it out! It's a pretty positive and supportive space, and has one of the biggest collections of Kakashi and crossover fans that I'm aware of.

Hello all! Thanks for all of your interest, and thank you for filling out the Interest Check! We still have quite a bit left until the Interest Check closes, but I figured I would answer a few Interest Check/Ask Box questions now, and answer the rest closer to the end of the Interest Check:

Is traditional art accepted in this exchange? Do art gifts require a specific resolution/file quality/etc?

Yes, traditional art is accepted! Traditional art must be shared via a high-quality scan and/or photograph. We do not have any specific resolution requirements, but as long as it meets the standards of art submissions (Minimum: Colored Sketch Maximum: Colored Full Piece (w/ background)) then it should be fine. During the event, we will have two check-ins, and if anyone has any questions about image quality, etc, you can absolutely reach out to me with any pictures they may have of your work!

Would AUs be allowed? if so, how would it work when submitting the form? For example, If I had an AU I wanted artwork of, would I have to explain what the basis of it was & offer artwork references of the designs if there were any? I would expect including AUs would really complicate things & it wouldn't be allowed for that reason, but I felt it was worth asking anyways

Personally, I think having AUs might be an interesting way to do this years gift exchange. Last year we had a lot of OCs set in the Layton universe, and I think it might be an interesting way to change it up with allowing AUs (We didn't necessarily NOT allow AUs last year, it just didn't come up.) This year, we will have several prompt lines that people can post one prompt each in, and a requirement will be all submissions have to have at least one base canon Layton prompt (which can include ships), just because that will make it infinitely easier to pair people up. If someone were to submit an AU, it would require some sort of pdf or drive file that anyone can access where people can see the jist of the AU with any relevant images. It will also require a short blurb about the AU (that is easy to read- please don't send an essay) with what it's about, and then (if the prompter would like) prompts alongside that. Again, I'm quickly mentioning that the prompter will be required to have an non-AU prompt, just given that it will be hard to pair people up with people who do/ do not want to draw Professor Layton AUs, but I do think its an interesting idea! People who submit AUs will not have a guarantee that their AU will be drawn, but it will certainly be an option that the person who is drawing the gift can take if they want.

If I chose "Crossover Pieces" in 4th question, will I have an opportunity to draw someone's PL OCs too (For example PLvsPW and PL OC/s in it)?

Probably? It really depends where the interest check lands, but right now it's a 50/50 about whether people would like to do just base canon Layton art or include Layton OCs. As mentioned above, I personally think it would be really interesting to do a gift exchange that allows AUs and OCs; however, it will be infinitely more difficult to organize. It really depends on how many people are planning on joining the gift exchange!

No, but we will require at least 2 social medias (which CAN include email) to take part! This is in case we need to contact you via other means. The social medias that will be included will include Twitter, Tumblr, Discord, and Email. The reason for the limit with social media is just to make it a lot manageable for us to pair people together, especially given that we are hosting this on Twitter/Tumblr mainly, and people usually enjoy being able to actually give their gift to their own Secret Buddy (which would require people only on tumblr to be paired with people either only on tumblr or both on tumblr/twitter, etc).

Lastly, I'm going to preface that we will try our hardest with pairing everyone up with the best person possible! Doing so is, of course, a bit difficult given that we primarily will not be pairing spoiler characters/games with people who have not played that game, but we will try our best. We're very excited to see what people create- we had a blast last year with hosting this on Twitter, and we're very excited to host it again!

do you think it would be ethical to transfer whatever info the kitawiki has that's more factual to the FANDOM wiki? permission would be really preferable, but kitawiki owner won't respond to anyone's inquiries about the wiki and has deliberately ghosted people who've asked to help (and one source says he has a baaad temper and accused one of the people he ghosted of ghosting HIM). it's a shame the FANDOM wiki has bad rep but good you're fixing it.

"Transferring" in the sense of directly copying and pasting everything from the Kitawiki to the Fandom wiki is not really what we want to do. Instead, we want to rewrite, improve, and expand on what's on the Fandom wiki. We have taken some inspiration from some of the ways they have formatted certain things on the Kitawiki, and have been utilizing their pages as a resource for finding citations and simple things like that.

So basically, NO to direct copy and paste, but it's typically alright in general to use other wikis for inspiration for things like formatting, style, etc.

Also, I can't make any comment about the Kitawiki owner (or any of the Hetalia Archives team for that matter), as I do not know them. The only things I'm aware of is a post from 2024 about how the wiki software they use needs to be updated but it has to be done manually so it hasn't been done yet. I'm sure everyone involved has been busy lately.

Anyways! Thanks again for the question anon 😁 And yeah, the Fandom wiki unfortunately got it's bad reputation from there being a lack of moderation there for a long while. But I've been trying to redeem and improve it slowly but surely since 2023!
