I want to be as big as my anger, be bigger than my enemies and show the world how terrible it is.

Instead I am small, tiny even compared to the people around me. Instead no one takes me serious when I voice my anger. Instead I am overlooked because I have no reason to be angry. Yet here I am. Angry at the world and myself.

There are times that I can't suppress my anger and it often bursts at the wrong moments that definitely need understanding.

I'm also surprised that I can hold a grudge this long, and be this apathetic and uncaring to people I lost my respect to.

There are also moments in my brain that wanted me to curse those people - until harm comes to them. Let them deserve it for things that they've done. The backstabbing, all the hurtful things they say. All the actions that they've done.

But there's also a part of me that says - maybe I also deserved it for some things that I've done to some people. Especially how it looks outside of my perspective. And it comes in full circle.

Sometimes my anger wins, especially if I'm overthinking too much and takes a lot of time to calm me down. A little rest fix it sometimes, but if a word or trigger got unto me - my anger really wins than being rational and being calm headed.

So, I really admire those people who could be calm in these kinds of situations.

Really though, how do you do it?

trying to have healthy relationships with bpd just feels like trying to be tactful and respectful while holding back your emotions with a brick wall that feels like it's about to snap like a twig

if there’s one aspect i could criticize about the writing of teen wolf it’s the in depth backstories of each character only to never talk about it again or develop it any further.

liam’s ied and past school? only used as a prop to further the plot and create conflict (angry man go punch!)

isaac’s abuse and claustrophobia? only mentioned/showed how it effects him one time outside flashbacks (motel california)

theo’s growing up and manipulation with the dread doctors? never mentioned, only lightly brushed over in incoherent flashbacks (yes it shows him being guilty for taking tara’s heart, but not the dread doctors effect on him and torture for him to get where he was)

stiles’ nogitsune trauma? only brought up as a joke after the fact (“i once had a demon living in my head LOL”)

derek hale’s past with grooming by kate? only used to show they know each other, not why what she did was wrong or harmful (doesn’t show the harmful nature of grooming and how derek’s trust would be forever altered because of kate’s abuse of his)

malia living like a coyote for the first ?17? years of her life because she “killed” her own family? “omg you can’t take her anywhere! she likes to eat deer🤣🤣”

allison’s mom killing herself cause she’d rather be anything but a werewolf? mentioned maybe a couple times afterwords

it seems as though they attempt to make the characters deep and thought-out but toss aside the trauma they have given them in order to further the new villian of the week and constant conflict. sometimes i wish that the characters made decisions in conjunction with their prior trauma or showed symptoms of how these events effected them because it’s no secret that they would. i understand that it’s a lot to ask for a super precise and detailed description of how every character is feeling, but with 24 episodes a season, tossing in a couple reflective scenes couldn’t have hurt. i fear that their constant need to one-up their villains took away from the personality and characterization of the show as it kept running.

(this is why i love this fandom so much, because yall do! thank you to the writers who write realistic ptsd or lingering effects of major events)

I'm still upset about how in order to keep the main heterosexual love story intact, suits writers decided to damage Harvey's commendable character development in season 4. Harvey Specter, who has a CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER THE SIZE OF A MOUNTAIN ABOUT INFIDELITY told Mike to get back together with his girlfriend who cheated on him WITH HIS RIVAL.

A fun statistics fact!

Star trek the original series has 79 Episodes (not counting the pilot)

Of those episodes, there are 57 away missions

Of those away missions 44 of them contain both Kirk and Spock

Meaning that there were 44 chances for a single away mission gone wrong to leave Sulu permanently in charge of the ship. 44 chances for the ship to be left without the Captain and first officer.

Oh and there were 24 away missions that did not include any security personnel

Including the time that they sent Kirk, Spock and McCoy ALONE to a planet where multiple other members of senior staff were missing, and the one person from the previous away mission to be seen since leaving the ship came back, collapsed onto the transporter pad, and died. If that away mission had gone wrong (which had very high chances of happening thanks to the lack of security) the ship would have had basically no senior staff left

I just. am so done with him and his bullshit unspecific yet hyper specific grading rubric (in that theres specific expectations, but its not displayed anywhere what the criteria actually is other than vague "too long"). Like. he's a good person, a fun person and a decently entertaining professor which is important for a histiry class, but by GOD he grades so harshly that i havent gotten higher than a C+ on my assignments with him.

Honestly as long as i pass i really dont give a fuck bc history has never been my strong suit, but its just ridiculous!!
