Everyone should read the following. If we are a community you need to understand a few things.
Are you entitled to say anything you want due to "free speech"? Hell yeah!
Should you? Absolutely the fuck not!
The blatant racism, anti-queerness, transphobia, misogyny and fatphobia I have seen is down right abhorrent. And if you display any of these ideologies or opinions, you simply do not belong here. You shouldn't be comfortable making a safe space for yourself as you make this lovely community unsafe for the rest of us.
There is nothing political about human rights. But unfortunately that's where we are in this life. I'll try not to be biased but certain political leanings tells me all I need to know about you. POC conservatives will always make me laugh. You are nothing but a pawn for the cis/hetero/whites who don't give a shit if you live or die. Nothing but a slur, a body to dispose of. You may share their views but they are not sharing the power and privilege they have with you.
Let's talk about certain individuals who act so tough under the "big strong amurican sharing their views just to get shitted on, fucking snowflakes". Why do you want to be oppressed so badly? Why do you purposely antagonize people and then when they defend themselves you try dismissing them by saying how they're wasting their time... The irony of it all. The sheer ignorance.
I feel sorry for you people. Truly, I do. But I'll be damned if I let any of you try to tear any of us down for having opinions and ideologies (hint hint see the irony?) that fight for the rights of people who don't have them.
And let me get something clear- from the river to the sea. We all should not stop fighting till all of us are free. There are so many resources out there to educate yourself, yet you choose to remain ignorant. You do not belong here. You act as though you are better than everyone else because you have "edgy" opinions, opinions that literally call for the deaths of the marginalized and oppressed. You do not belong here. You have the gall to tell people they are wasting their time, when their sheer existence alone is putting them at risk for isolation and death (by the same bigoted people you support). You do not belong here.
If an elephant (Israel) has it's foot on a mouse's (Palestine) tail, tell me which one is truly the one at risk. There is a gen0cide going on. If Israel is trying to reclaim it's "land" why bomb it? Why destroy it? With a military with their degree they should be able to eliminate all these "terr0rists" with minimal to no "collateral damage" (aka the 30,000 innocent Palestinians, 2/3rds of which were woman and children, with countless injured, orphaned, homeless and starving). Why bomb hospitals, mosques, sacred places? Standing with Palestinian people is not antisemitism, it's anti gen0cide and war crimes (a multitude of which Israel has shamelessly committed).
And I'm not on anon. I stand for the people of Palestine. I stand for justice. I stand for equity. I stand for the freedom of all oppressed people.
And I implore everyone who follows me to educate themselves. The right path does not lead you to discriminate against the marginalized. Continue to fight my friends, continue to amplify the voices of those unheard, continue making this community and those you belong to, safe for all and unsafe for those who think otherwise.
For you @knismosexual + @littleonelee
I hope you truly reflect on how your actions impacts this entire community and the communities you live in. Until you learn how to act right, unfortunately this community isn't for you. You shouldn't feel welcome here. You shouldn't feel like you belong here. DMs are wide open if you have any thoughts. But again I say, supporting transphobic, racist, anti-queer, misogynistic, discriminatory views is not simply an "opinion" or personality to adopt. You are hurting real people, accepting the deaths and harassment that plague them every single day. You have no place in this community.

Welcome to the home of the world's worst ships!
Hello there, I'm Jack Goodwin and this absolute affront to the natural order that I call a blog is where I take a break from the insane content I normally make where you only have one job... to have fun.
Wanna stay up to date on my video/.streaming content? Go follow @maji-man. Or just click HERE to see all my socials in one list.
Here's a post where I explain the point of the blog. I highly suggest you read it twice or more to make sure you understand.
Be warned: If you neglect this post and run your mouth in my comments, chances are I'll make fun of you in my videos and streams. Now then, down to business.
Are there two characters that absolutely should not be anywhere near each other, to the point where one should be getting a restraining order? Are there pairings in fiction that you couldn't be paid a quadrillion rubles to come up with on your own? Are you sick of all these picket-fence, vanilla pudding, ERENxMIKASA snoozefests that plague the internet? If so, you've come to the right place. Get your kissy-kissy lips on, find a slightly uncomfortable chair and LETS GET SHIPPING!!!
I have only FOUR RULES HERE:
You can say whatever you want here, so long as;
1. Its not discriminatory
Any sort of phobia/ism here is not welcome. This blog is for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, orientation or gender identity.
2. Its a joke,
and clearly a joke. We poke fun at each other here. Lets keep it fun.
3. Its true.
I have the power of google, and any misinformation will be swiftly corrected. When you are corrected, either accept it or be blocked. Misinformation and straight up lies are not welcome here.
4: You speak with the understanding that these characters aren't real people, nor do they represent them
These are cartoons. Works of fiction. They're not real. Please keep any deep-seated obsession with character's ethnicity, sexuality, age, background etc to yourself. Acting holier-than-thou and making that the subject of your personal issue with my posts doesn't make you a hero, nor is that the groundbreaking opinion you think it is, it just makes the jokes awkward and uncomfortable for many people here.
Aaaaanyways, now we've got that out of the way (and yes, I will add more rules as the need arises, don't test me)
I'll mostly be using the absolute maelstrom of doodoo I call a brain to come up with ideas, but if you'd like to submit some ideas of your own, feel free. Send it to my ASK box. Nothing illegal, past a certain point, please.
Oh, and the ask criteria/format is in the linked post below. (Anonymous asks are and will always be turned off, cuz I know that this site is full of pussies who can't talk shit on main)
JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T READ THAT POST, AS I KNOW MOST OF YOU WON'T: If you do not follow that exact format, I WILL DELETE YOUR ASKS ON SIGHT.
I REPEAT: I will not even CONSIDER posting them.
FUN FACT: After having this blog for multiple months with anonymous asks turned off, I haven't gotten a single hate message (other than that one kid who got made a fool out of). This is why they're off, in case you wondered.
Its also worth mentioning, some of you are new to the concept of comedy, so I'll write it nice and big for you (if you know what a crackship/joke is, then skip this paragraph): THIS IS A JOKE BLOG. A GIMMICK BLOG. A COMEDY BLOG. I DO NOT CARE EVEN SLIGHTLY ABOUT SHIPPING AS A CONCEPT MUCH LESS DO I EVEN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT 9/10 OF THE CHARACTERS YOU'LL SEE HERE, SO IM JUST MAKING J O K E S. IF YOU ARE OFFENDED, THEN YOU HAVE KNOWINGLY CHOSEN TO BE OFFENDED WHICH IS ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT. THANK YOU :)
I REPEAT this is a CRACKSHIP BLOG, so if you're deeply hurt by any of my polls, just know that nothing here reflects me as a person because none of what I post is serious. If anything you see after reading that causes you any emotional distress, it IS NOT my fault. Its funny, but its not my fault.

In class right now and I don’t understand the assignment like at all soooo…
JJK TEACHERS AT AN AMERICAN (predominantly black) SCHOOL
Note:there’s only one mention of Hispanic kids in Nanami I had to add Hispanic people cause they got some fire music too ‼️🔥
Gojo
It’s 50/50 with him
Some kids love him and others not so much
Isn’t hated at all tho
Has a candy stash
Some kids come in at random times to get candy
Some kid would be arguing with him and they would start laughing randomly
Then the kid would get mad again cause he laughed but they’re just like fuck it and forget why they were ever mad in the first place
Got so happy when a kid dressed up as him for “dress up as a teacher day”
(I think that’s what it’s called )
He don’t take phones he just lets them and if they miss the lesson…Oh well 🤷🏾♀️
Nanami
Is so so so loved by the girls
With the boys..it’s 60/40
Some dude dapped him up and he was SOOOOOO Awkward
Will not stand for misogyny or racism (he would stand for anything discriminatory but as a teenage girl these are the things I hear the most)
A lil boy saying something about a girl in the class calling her a bop, bitch,or just being mean in general is a instant write up
Some edgy non black boys calling a black person the n word or making slave “jokes” is another write up
He don’t play about that shit
Loves the music the black and Hispanic kids put him on
Someone recommended “boogie wonderland” and he loves it sm
Is good with the kids with anger issues
Principal Yaga
Nope I’d say only 20% of students would like him and that’s being generous 💀
He’s funny sometimes
You’ll always hear a student talking shit about him
Yeah
Utahime
70/30
Also more popular with the girls
she’s unintentionally funny
Also one of those teachers who you would hear her name everywhere but you wouldn’t see her until later in the year lol
Always has music playing in her class
Strict but nice
Let’s students touch up their makeup
SHOKO
Let’s students with bad mental health stay at her office
Cares about all kinds of health fr
Never smokes on school grounds one cause it’s illegal and two she doesn’t wanna hurt her patients
Low key gets scared when kids come in from a fight
Not of them but fights be getting serious and she doesn’t want anything life threatening to happen

sighhhhh…
i saw a post claiming that being uncomfortable with some of the wild rpf blogs is homophobia (or rather, that we’re only so uncomfortable with the rabid david/michael shipping because they’re both men, and not by georgia/anna stuff because they’re women), and i find that very funny.
firstly, most of us are queer to begin with, and while being queer doesn’t mean you can’t be discriminatory to other queer people, it’s important to mention.
secondly, the reason no one’s weirded out over georgia and anna is because no one is actually, truly shipping them in the real, actually world. it is very clearly a joke, and some of it is fun stories on ao3. the whole making out thing (which i’ve now seen brought up as evidence that we’re not as uncomfortable with f/f rpf) is literally in response to neil gaiman’s tumblr joke about dottie and sadie, who are fake characters that he uses to deflect from people wanting spoilers. the fandom has imagined them as being played by georgia and anna. they won’t be, because dottie and sadie aren’t actual characters in any fictional work. no one’s saying that georgia and anna, the real people, should make out, we’re making a joke about a fake storyline that only exists in several posts on tumblr.
we’re not grossed out because the the david/michael shipping is m/m. we’re grossed out because these are real people that are being treated like puppets to serve some fantasy. not hypothetical characters created for the purpose of a gag that will never be in any official form of media. not characters in a show who don’t actually exist. actual fucking humans.
rpf stands for real person fiction. fiction. i’m not even sure this qualifies as rpf anymore; no one’s treating it as a fun, made-up story, they’re presenting it as an “investigation” into the real lives of real people. people who are strangers, people who we know almost nothing about.
rpf very often morphs into this, and i really think it’s in a class of its own.
it’s one thing to write silly little stories on ao3 using the names and personalities and likenesses of real people, it’s a completely different thing to dissect every single thing you see about someone and to come to a conclusion that just so happens to perfectly fit your ideal of their lives.
i find even the purely fictional rpf to be a bit strange and uncomfortable, but i don’t have any real moral objections to it. when it bleeds into reality, though, and the wishful thinking of fans presents as a vast, complex conspiracy, that’s straight up creepy. like i won’t even go into why it’s creepy, it should be obvious. celebrities are genuinely afraid of people like this. they’re afraid of the rumours, they’re afraid of stalkers, they feel like they can’t even have innocent fun without it being “proof” that their marriage is just for show. they hate it. i hope all these blogs know that david and michael would all but certainly be very unamused by all of this. they’d probably be a bit terrified, and also embarrassed that anything they did could possibly be interpreted in these ways. no celebrity ever signs up for this, the extent of the obsession some people have is impossible to comprehend until it’s in front of you. even if they’re used to it by now, why, in the name of god, would you pile on?
please, touch grass. smell the roses. leave the parasocial echo chamber. do something to reacquaint yourselves with the real world and how real people function. if you’re really fans, leave them and their loved ones alone.
#i wasn’t even gonna post this it was just a rant in my notes app#but i was actually making some good points so#david tennant#georgia tennant#michael sheen#anna lundberg#staged#good omens#ineffable husbands#aziracrow#fandom woes#fandom drama#discourse#from now on i’m just gonna block whenever i come across this stuff

There is such a strange overlap between anti-endos and a particular set of harmful, discriminatory behaviors that I keep on seeing.
In particular:
• Despising schizo-spec people for some reason
▪︎Actively trying to trigger schizo-spec people in psychosis despite being told otherwise
▪︎Ignoring their boundaries - being told that they're harming people only to insist that it's good for them
▪︎You can recover from your DID! Not so for schizophrenics, who must always constantly fight to be normal and never give in to their delusions
▪︎You can never have fun with this. No delusion entertaining here! Not like DID/OSDD systems, who make pk profiles for their alters and learn to love their systems with time.
• A sort of tunnel vision directed only at fellow traumagenic systems compared to endogenic systems.
▪︎You're having fun with this disorder? Not possible, you should always suffer... unless you're a traumagenic system, in which you can do anything you want.
▪︎You're not one of us? Pssh, must be an endo
▪︎Obviously your trauma didn't happen if you're a pro-endo traumagenic system, otherwise you would know how bad it is to be this way
▪︎"Why aren't you suffering exactly like me"
• Gatekeeping of alterhumanity and other communities
▪︎Endogenics are pushed out of every community. Doesn't matter if the community is for them, doesn't matter if it has nothing to do with syscourse. Get them outtttt
▪︎▪︎Bonus points if you make other people feel unsafe in the process. Don't look at me, look at those endogenics that were doing nothing!
▪︎Putting their own conditions on a pedestal when compared to others (ex. it's fine to be autistic, but God forbid you identify as plural)
• Othering and a kind of racism directed at POC and spiritual folk
▪︎If your practice is spiritual and mystical it's 🥰beautiful🥰, if it's clinical and psychological it's 👎harmful👎
▪︎▪︎Bonus points if it's an ancient, old practice from long ago, conceived in the wilderness far away from the "toxicity" of the "modern world". Slavery? Genocide? Cultural oppression? Not a factor, you should all have practices from long ago. Don't blame me for not having them!
▪︎POC are used as pawns in syscourse. If you're endogenic you must be white (certainly there can't be any POC endos out there) and if you do exist, you are dismissed. However if you are POC, you must exist in all areas of discourse and hold all the right opinions.
▪︎Certainly you can't hold multiple viewpoints on your origins - a spiritual plural who also believes in science? A spiritualist who also believes in spiritual things, yet takes their medication to function? Not possible, you're either psychological or spiritual.
(Apologies for the snark near the end, but in truth it is annoying.) We've noticed these beliefs seem to appear in tandem with each other to a greater degree than other beliefs- could be wrong, but it's a pattern we've noticed. I'm guessing this behavior is a result of a traumatic cultural Christian-European upbringing? Which makes sense, but I wish they'd unpack that before jumping into syscourse.

Even if Rowling wasn't completely off the holocaust denying deep-end, the way she wrote those wizard books kind of pisses me off now that i'm older because they have so much potential to be better than they actually were.
Like, middle school me was eating that shit up for a reason, you don't become one of the most popular authors in the world who created one of the most well-known pieces of literature in the world off of dumb luck. There were things she did right. Unfortunately , now that i'm older I can see everything she did wrong. And my writer's brain mixed with my ego is telling me that I could make it better.
Implant a heavier theme of the wizarding world's patronizing bullshit and entitlement. Like seriously, the complete unwarranted superiority complex that these chuckle fucks have is obnoxious beyond belief. Even middle school me knew that there was no good reason to keep magic away from the people they made up a slur for. Maybe that should have been the main theme of the books.
Seriously, it ties in so well with the evil wizard supremacy sublot. The solution to systemic discrimination is not to get rid of bigoted people. It's to tear down those systems entirely. The wizarding world seriously needs a status quo shake up.
Revamp the house elves or just cut them out entirely. Just don't fucking justify slavery. IT'S NOT THAT HARD!!!
Maybe this is lefist brain talking but do not make Harry grow up to be a fucking magic cop. In fact, I would have had made the Aurors be unbelievably awful and corrupt, just like a real cops!
Give the characters of color less racist names.
Stop describing your female villains as "mannish"
The greedy goblin banker theme is one of the most disgustingly antisemetic things i've ever had the displeasure of putting up with. What the fuck is wrong with you Joanne!? I would just cut that shit out.
The violent fatphobia grosses me out so much. When I was little I wanted Dudley to get a PROPER redemption arc so bad and not be abused for his weight. In fact , if I were Rowling, I would have added in a sublot about Dudley discovering his own magic to and having to unlearn the shit his parents taught him, as well as deal with their painful rejection of him. That would've been really cool.
Apparently lycanthropy was supposed to be a metaphor for HIV??? Ew, Joanne. No. It's like she never talked to a gay man in her life.
The "love" potions piss me off SO BAD. Voldemort's mother was not in love. She was a rapist. I would change that up entirely.
Snape is not a hero. He was an incel in a hate group. Acknowledge him as such and don't have Harry name his fucking kid after him.
Hey, quick question, why does the school have a blood supremacist house???? Why was this allowed??? Why did she write Slytherin to just be openly discriminatory towards mixed blood kids????
Whatever the dad Weasely's name is, I would have played off his whole "weeb for nonmagical people" thing as more patronizing and accidentally insensitive than endearing. He reminds me of white moms who say konichiwa to the waiter at Chinese restaurants and think they're "cultured".
For the love of god, treat the female characters other than Hermione with an OUNCE of respect.
Now that I know more about animal welfare and the exotic pet industry, Hagrid kinda gets on my nerves. I would add a sublot about him learning to respect the boundaries of wild animals.
I can't think of anything else that ticks me off about the books right now but I will come back to this if I do.

I knew I was gonna get blocked by that one chick for specifying it was “afabs” who face the misogyny of pregnancy discrimination within the disability realm, but it’s still really funny to see because I didn’t even invalidate anyone’s gender identity. Didn’t say “it’s pregnant WOMEN not people!!” To op or anything. Just said, yea… regardless of your gender identity there’s a reason THIS group gets discriminated against.
Pointing out discrimination: necessary work!!! We need to let everyone know we care!!!
Actually address WHY it happens: :/ idk. Seems a little discriminatory.
Ding ding ding. Yes. It was discriminatory when they created a society that regularly excluded women in many walks of life through medical misogyny or just not allowing them to have the same rights as men. Now we are fixing this and the first step is addressing why. Do we understand? Are we following along?

a few years ago, someone in university told me she didn't want to be friends (we had met up for coffee once) because I'm *xyz sign* and her experience has been that *xyz sign* tend to be emotional master manipulators, they like to play the victim in situations where they caused the drama. Obviously every person is entitled to whatever boundaries they want to have for friendship and dating but it's not ok to just accuse me of being a certain way on grounds of... the date I was born lol.
Like I used to think this stuff was ok as long as people didn't take it seriously, and as long as it's just "oh I'm a *xyz* that is why I'm artsy :-)" but now I honestly just want nothing at all to do with it, and I don't want to know anything about it either.
Wow, I'm so sorry you were told that. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Astrology is a form of bigotry, after all. Assuming that a whole demographic (people born in x time) share a series of personality traits, assigning those personality traits to people you've never even met because of this aprioristic belief about their demographic. It's the definition of bigotry.
In Western society, astrology is less of a problem than other discriminatory systems (racism, sexism, homotransphobia, classism, etc) because it's not as widely believed and hasn't become entrenched in the societal organization to be a systemic issue present in the social, cultural, and legal spheres and interpersonal relations that affect us everyday. (That is not the case in other places like, for example, India, where astrology might dictate who you can and cannot marry and where the victim's astrological sign has been used in court to refuse justice to women who have been raped, justifying the man who raped them because women born under certain star positions are believed to be astrologically "bringers of bad luck" and even bringers of death, so they're free game to abuse!)
So I'm not comparing it when it comes to the effects it has, but on a personal belief level it's just as discriminatory. It's as stupid to say "I don't want to be friends with this person because they were born at X time so I assume Y bad things about them" than it would be to make the judgement based on someone's gender, ethnicity, class, etc. There have already been people (in Western countries where we don't traditionally have an astrology-based oppression system) reporting discrimination for their astrological sign: I've heard experiences similar to you with that "friend", but some have even explained how they were not believed about their pain when they could have found out earlier about their illnesses and refused renting a room because the flat bans people of certain astrological signs!
It can seem like it's harmless fun, but this is what the belief is promoting. It's only a logical continuation of believing in horoscopes to start making these generalizations. It also contributes to normalizing these patterns of thought according to which it's "normal" and "truthful" to consider that whole demographic groups share the same traits (that is: bigotry; lowering our guard in front of more serious ones like racism, sexism, etc).
I don't think we should go around shaming people who talk about it, but I am certain that it is a responsibility not to contribute to spreading this form of bigotry, especially now that it's on the rise and becoming more popular among young people. For example, it goes against our interests as queer community to make space for astrology in our events (making people introduce themselves with their name and their sign, or painting astrology as some kind of radical queer thing somehow just because it's trendy??), I think we should stop promoting these beliefs in magazines, and start challenging our friends who believe in it to think of how it works (and how it prepares them for other forms of discrimination).
Idk sorry for answering with such a long text but I'm tired of seeing it rise too and I had a friend who went though that, she got really into astrology because her other friends were into it, and once that anti-scientific proof door was open she got into moon landing denialism and now she believes in conspiracy theories and it's very annoying to talk with her lol.

The Grimwalker as a concept was so weird. Mainly that Hunter was all 'ohhhh no we cant tell them im a spooky Grimwalker!' But... why would anyone care? The only reason given is that hes a reincarnation of a guy nobody even knows or cares about. Theres not even like, a spooky myth about Grimwalkers because its got such a vague ruleset and premise. He's barely different from a demon.
That COULD have linked to the demon discrimination plotline youve talked about, but there is none so it cant be that. Which i understand was partially because Dana wanted the gays to just exist, so she scrapped discrimination in general. But, a big part of forming cultures and identity is 'Otherness'. People compare themselves to others and define themselves by how theyre different. So scrapping discrimination ends up making the witchs and demons feel like nothing. They have nothing to compare their identity and culture against because theres just no conflict to spark comparison.
This lack of substance also means the fans don't care about Grimwalkers. See the moring comic where the Grimwalker was turned into ANOTHER way to say 'haha Boscha so cringe amirite? point and laugh because she has nobody who loves her.' even though the grimwalker is to reincarnate the dead.
OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPY SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED THAT! *SCREAMS BLOODY MURDER* Like I know Mark just writes Boscha how the entire fandom sees her (which hasn't helped me enjoy A Hint of Blue, not that I think it's good regardless) but seriously what the fuck!? Why do that to her except just to be mean!?
*sighs* What were we talking about? OH RIGHT! Grimmwalkers.
So for why Hunter has anxiety, it actually is because TOH is doing a very basic clone/artificial human storyline with Hunter and those arcs are actually a lot more internally motivated than externally motivated. Clone lives a life believing they're their own person, then one day finds out they're not, perceives themselves as less because of this distinction but then in the end decides that regardless of their origin, they are their own person and so throw off their shackles, embrace who they are and become better for it. It has nothing to do with race and while it is baby's first clone story, I also still like it conceptually because, well, there's a reason why it's the default clone story. It especially is good for kid's media because while the clone can struggle with the anxiety of it, their friends never have to actually be bad or discriminatory against them because the point is loving yourself for who you are and not who you were made to be.
But I've talked before about how this basic framework actually has a Catch 22 built into it when it comes to Hunter... Which apparently Tumblr wants to tell me I've never done before. Thanks search function. The short version is that this template requires not only a rejection of what they were made for but for them to become distinctly different, usually opposite, to their purpose/original. For Hunter, he only knows Belos so this takes shape in trying to be the opposite of him. The problem is that the opposite of Belos... Is Caleb. Who Hunter mimics in every action he takes after getting away from Belos. There's literally no way to follow this template without adding complexities like him accepting his true origin and being okay/happy with that, something that was probably unlikely in general but especially wasn't going to happen with the shortening, which I will actually give people for. Because the Grimmwalker twist happens so late, they either had to cut it or had no time to actually do anything with it which like... Why not cut it? You did nothing with it and it actually made sure you didn't have the time to actually have Hunter reject Belos' morality so that his redemption doesn't come across as self serving and for survival more than an actual, you know, change to his beliefs.
As for how interesting Grimmwalkers are... They're just clones. Boilerplate, boring clones. Make a body based on another person, put memories in, BAM! Got yourself a clone. Doesn't get more classic than that. It's hardly even magical honestly besides the components, especially with how it actually doesn't give them magic despite those components, or have weird quirks since they're not actually made of flesh and blood, elements that the fans have had a lot of fun with that the show never does, though admittedly part of that is due to how late it happens. Then again, all magic in TOH is boring so it's not likely they would have anyways. Also, you know, a lot of shows will do a single clone episode and have more fun and magic to it than TOH does with one of their core cast members being one so *shrug*
Now, for the final part, I do want to also touch on the 'other' aspect because while discrimination is one way to do it, you can get this across in other ways. One such way is the core defining trait of the Grimmwalker from a tangible standpoint: He doesn't have magic. In a society that mostly has magic, him not having it is a big deal. It's literally what gives him and Willow their first connection as a couple, as insulting as that scene actually should be to Hunter.
And then Hunter is 'fixed' when he gains his magic. His 'other' status removed because he's a real boy now. *SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH*
I have so much more I could say about TOH and 'The Other' (made a blog about a lot of it between writing this draft and publish) but I'll leave it at that so it actually stays on topic instead of the half a dozen tangents I've deleted. None of this makes it good by the way and with how TOH tackles most subjects like this, it's incredibly unlikely that more time would have made it better. After all, being a Grimmwalker is only one of like a half dozen TANTALIZING character/arc concepts for Hunter that are never addressed. The fact that he is trained to kill witches and likely has. His relationship with the Isles because he doesn't have inherent magic. The fact that he is filled with such care for the nation and its government that it blocks out all else in his world. How a sheltered child reacts when they suddenly have freedom and are thrust into the wider world. Etc. etc. that are just footnotes to the writers more than anything to actually build a complete arc around or else they wouldn't have just keep adding to the angst bucket without actually resolving any of it.
So of course Grimmwalkers are bland while being a fine to good concept that's then made terrible by narrative implication or neglect. That's EVERYTHING to do with Hunter.

Buckle up guys, gals and non-binary pals, it's BoJere Tour Bus Renuion time <3
"...Bojan was tentatively asking me if I would join him on the tour bus" - Kris arches an eyebrow as he reads this part of the latest interview with Jere on his phone screen.
Tentatively? Seriously? Since when has Bojan done ANYTHING tentatively? Bojan is about as tentative as a- as a puppy. Which is why Kris has to watch him and "Nine Lives" Jure like a hawk.
Not for the first time, Kris is glad he doesn't have pets.
Turtles might be OK, he supposes.
Nace seems to think so.
Anyway, he's clearly going to have to talk to Bojan about this.
****
"Hey, Bojan, remind me: what are the rules of this tour?"
Bojan rolls his eyes. Like Kris doesn't know. Like Kris didn't write them. Like Kris didn't give him two copies (just in case). He shrugs.
"Let's see...what happens on the tour bus stays on the tour bus?"
Kris chucks a pillow at him. He ducks.
"That is the exact opposite of Rule 5 and you know it"
Ugh, he's in one of those moods. Bojan briefly considers throwing the pillow back, but decides against it.
"Rule 5? What were the other 4?" He grins. "Wait, don't tell me. They're all the same rule, just with different names."
Kris refuses to take this bait, unfortunately.
"Rule 5 is - as you very well know - No Sex On The Tour Bus"
How is he capitalising every letter of that stupid rule just saying it, Bojan wonders.
"Right, and why are you bringing up that rule with me? Shouldn't you be reminding...ooh, I don't know...your fellow guitarists of that one?"
Kris folds his arms and Bojan knows he shouldn't push it but he can't help himself.
"Or does it not apply if both parties are band members? Kinda discriminatory Krisko. Does this mean I have to start sleeping with Jure again?" He grins, gives Kris a suggestive look. "Or-"
Kris gives him a don't-even-think-about-it look in response - spoilsport - and thrusts his phone at him.
Ooh, it's an interview with Jere...
Ah.
OK, Jere has obviously said something.
Yep. Kris has highlighted it. Of course he has.
He reads the offending sentence, rereads it, laughs, looks up.
"Oh come on Kris, this is just Jerč-Jere messing around. He probably said it because he knew it would get attention. Although" he feels obliged to point out, because joke or no joke this slander will not stand: "it was actually HIM asking ME if he could-"
Kris sighs the deep sigh of the terminally exasperated.
"Look, I don't care who asked who, your boyfriend-"
"-NOT my boyfriend actually but do carry on"
Kris doesn't even bat an eyelid.
"Whatever he is, he's NOT coming on the bus. In EITHER sense. There's barely enough room for the five of us as it is"
He gestures to the admittedly cramped living quarters they've somehow got used to sharing. Bojan can see his point, even if he is making it in the most insufferable way possible. He sighs.
"FINE. No Sex On The Tour Bus"
Kris looks at him.
"Promise?"
He's such a Boy Scout sometimes. Bojan can't resist saluting as he replies.
"Yes, Mr-If-I-Can't-Get-Laid-Neither-Can-Anyone-Else, I promise"
And he runs off before Kris can find anything else to throw at him.
****
CarpeEveryDiemSlideIntoEveryDM: Hey

****
Jere is laughing as he puts his phone down, he can't help laughing whenever he interacts with Bojan, but he's soon serious again.
Yes, he ABSOLUTELY said that to that reporter because he knew they'd eat it up.
But...
He was hoping that he and Bojan would-
Well.
You know.
But Bojan has made a promise, and his Bojan doesn't break promises.
So Jere is going to have to...get creative.
He grins.
He's always enjoyed a challenge.

It is I! Again! Sorry I kinda disappeared, life's been hectic and I couldn't really think of many Bandit questions, hell I still can't... I'm coming to you with just two questions on my mind: Firstly, the last time I doodled Bandit I kinda like? Subconsciously drew his left eyebrow with a little cut in it, simply because it made sense in my brain not because you actually draw him this way (unless I'm going insane and you do and I'm going completely mad then oopsies!!!) so it's making me wonder, are there any specific stylizations/characterizations in fanart that you're not a fan of? I'm not asking you to be a hater or discriminatory or anything I'm just curious if you'd rather not have Bandit be drawn a certain way!! I know it's kinda a stupid question... Secondly, if you had to pick primarily of the OFF OST to associate with Bandit, which one would you pick and why? (I try to associate one OFF track with every one of my Elsen OCs personally,,, I think it's fun) That's all for right now! Good luck with OFFtober btw, I'm struggling catching up with the prompts rn and I wouldn't want you going through it too hahdhd
Completely neglected to answer this! My bad! I can't think of any stylizations of Bandit that I dislike, I actually really enjoy when people play around with his design. I've commonly seen different hair styles and different clothing, but I just adore seeing him interpreted in different art styles in general. As for characterizations, one of the most common things I've seen fans depict Bandit with is Smoking.. and I just don't see it. Nothing against that (other than like,, real life health risks) but smoking never really made sense to me in the context of the OFF universe in the first place. I don't think tobacco is a thing there, and people get smoke from mines anyway.. meh, that's me being petty tho. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the art that also happens to have him smoking.
That second question is hard, because I legitimately cannot pick a piece from the original OST that really fits him. Maybe I'm used to associating those pieces with the characters and environment they're already for, but I just don't see Bandit fitting anything. Apologies for the slight cop-out, my mind is just blank.
Filler pic today's from twitter. This wasn't even the first time people have told me Bandit has shown up in their dreams

Trans Day of Remembrance
Trans Day of Remembrance was yesterday, Nov. 20th.
For those of you who don't know, this day (not to be confused with Trans Day of Visibility) commemorates and mourns those who've been killed for being transgender. It was started after this woman, Chanelle Pickett...
...was killed in 1995 by a man named William Palmer. Her twin sister, Gabrielle, who was also a trans woman, testified that Palmer had known about her gender for a long time. Yet he pretended to be enraged after inviting her (and Gabrielle, though she didn't go) to his home in the early morning for sex. Her body was found later that same day. (You can read more about this here.)
4 years later, Trans Day of Remembrance was officially created in 1999. Over its 25 year span, people have been given more of a voice to speak out against transgender violence and related crimes against the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole, though it hasn't always been smooth sailing. As trans people get more visibility, so do the haters.
Take this woman, Sarah McBride, as an example.
She's the first transgender member of the House of Representatives, from Delaware. Despite this achievement, she's also the target of a new bill banning trans people from using the correct bathroom, in government buildings.
Which, why are transphobic people's go to thing the bathroom? Zeroth of all, trans women are women, and trans men are men. PERIOD.
First of all, you don't know who I am. I'm going to use it and you'll probably never see me again. You're not in the stall with me when I'm using the bathroom.
Second of all, why do you want the imagery of thinking that someone pees out of a vagina vs. a penis (or anything else, in the case of intersex people)? What's that doing for you?
Third of all, you don't even consider the fact that some people get surgery, though it doesn't make someone more or less trans if they don't have surgery. That's their choice.
Fourth of all, a trans person is SO MUCH MORE than a bathroom!!
Fifth of all, you claim that the Republican Party is supposed to be Christian—where in the Bible does it say you should ban trans people from using whatever bathroom that aligns with them? And why should being Christian or otherwise religious be synonymous with being hateful against LGBTQIA+ people, or other minorities?
Anyway…
I hope that you do whatever you can to be supportive of trans people. Don't tolerate hate when you see it. Block it, or gently educate people. Saying things like "she thinks she's a girl but she's a man" and "you're manipulating children" and "men can't get pregnant" is extremely hurtful, harmful, and childish. And also, if you have a loved one who's trans, or you're trans yourself, be kind to them and yourself. If you're hurting, allow yourself to hurt. Allow yourself to mourn, to take refuge in days like Trans Day of Remembrance, and whatever safe spaces you may have. But also remember that you are not alone, and you matter, and no matter how hateful, violent, and discriminatory people are, you have a voice. And you can use it.
I will do whatever I can to make a safe space for people, whatever I do in life. And you should too. :)

For the ask game: 💛
TY for the ask anon (°▽°)
Personally Dramione
I know why it’s popular, the good girl/bad boy trope has been popular for a long time or the opposing sides of conflict trope but this is something I cannot get behind
As someone who values canon a lot and while I love fanfiction I mainly refer to canon when talking about actual characters.
Some of my reasons:
• They showed absolutely 0 interest in eachother. Both hated absolutely everything about one other and not even in the enemies-to-lovers could be way. They were just plainly not interested.
• While Draco became a Death Eater because Voldemort wanted to punish his father he was still an extreme blood purist and fully believed in all of the discriminatory views. He wouldn’t want a „mudblood”
• Draco bullied Hermione. I mean he bullied all of the golden trio but I think that Draco’s bullying towards Hermione was especially cruel when he would constantly call her a terrible slur, comment on it, wish her death and comment on her looks.
«The smug look on Malfoy's face flickered. "No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood," he spat.» CoS
«"Saint Potter, the Mudbloods' friend," said Malfoy slowly. "He's another one with no proper wizard feeling, or he wouldn't go around with that jumped up Granger Mudblood. And people think he's Slytherin's heir!"» CoS
«Last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened, a Mudblood died. So I bet it's a matter of time before one of them's killed this time...I hope it's Granger," he said with relish.» CoS
«Malfoy went on.
"Bet you five Galleons the next one dies. Pity it wasn't Granger —"» CoS
«"Want one, Granger?" said Malfoy, holding out a badge to Hermione. "I've got loads. But don't touch my hand, now. I've just washed it, you see; don't want a Mudblood sliming it up."» GoF
«"You're joking, Weasley!" said Malfoy, behind them. "You're not telling me someone's asked that to the ball? Not the long-molared Mudblood?"» GoF
«Weasley, your shirts untucked, so I'll have another five for that. Oh yeah, I forgot, you're a Mudblood, Granger, so ten off for that."» OoTP
«"Yeah, like you'd dare do magic out of school," sneered Malfoy. "Who blacked your eye, Granger? I want to send them flowers."» HBP
• Often in order for Dramione to work people need to get Ron out of the picture and often it’s in a way of bashing the character
• The characters only work together when a LOT of their personality traits get changed and they become too OOC for me
• Most of what I saw of this ship didn’t even fall under the good girl/bad boy trope, rather bully/victim or master/slave
• When you have to force two characters into drastic and uncomfortable situations for them to even see that there might be a possibility of something different than hatred the ship becomes a bit forced for me
• Definitely some of it came from the actors themselves in the movies. When I see blooper of Tom and Emma those really can be cute but only when the characters they play are out of the picture.
And outside of my personal opinion and just a general one: Jegulus
One of the most illogical yet somehow popular ships. We barely get told anything about Regulus yet a lot of people made up his whole personality and decided that James would be crazy over him… ( it’s not like… he was crazy in love about someone else right? Lily? Or like he had an extremely close best friend that would make a much better choice for a ship? )

OOC FAQ
(This is for information about me, the blog admin. For Sunny, check out the About Me post, linked at the top. Or read anything else on the blog, lol)
Hi, who are you?
I'm the admin behind faraway-sunshine, this Sunny askblog. I go by He/Him pronouns. Currently I'm 17, so a minor, but I'll be 18 in less than a year.
What made you start this blog?
I have some experience running askblogs before, particularly in the Undertale/Deltarune fandom. I was creatively burnt out when I finally played Omori and fell in deep.
I've had some mental health struggles before, though not to Sunny's extent, thank goodness. I'm still on a road to recovery though.
Why is there a date at the bottom of every Sunny post?
I headcanon the events of the game to take place in mid-to-late June, 2000. When I made this blog at the end of July, I thought it'd be fun to have it sync with the real-world clock minus 24 years. It's honestly such a help for my creativity at times, and keeps things moving.
My headcanon also places Sunny in the Eastern Standard time zone, on the east coast of America. I don't live in America, I'm in New Zealand, so sometimes I schedule posts to appear in a better time. Most of the time though I can work without that.
This also means I don't know what it's actually like living through those times, so I do a bunch of research and may take a few liberties. At least Sunny's probably not the most up to date with the times himself!
Does this mean you'll handle X topic in the way they would have back then?
Short answer: It varies.
Long answer: Sometimes. My general rule of thumb is to link it back to experiences and frustrations still present now; for instance, the annoyance of not being taken seriously in therapy or not knowing how to tell the difference between a crush and someone you admire platonically.
Although I'm neurodivergent and LGBTQ, I'm not a racial or cultural minority, so I try not to deal with the negative side of those topics as much due to not wanting to represent it falsely.
This does mean I might use some outdated language at times, such as referring to part of the autistic spectrum as Asperger's or DID as MPD. Those are very brief though, as I don't like putting a huge load on a label.
I also promise not to use any slurs, even those I might reclaim, or to turn discriminatory violence into a major plot point.
Wait, "plot point"?
Sunny has a life outside the blog, and I have a rough calendar of events that occur to him. There's a few special ones that happened before, such as a couple sleepovers and his first day back at school.
Events are interactive in that you can react to them, but not in that I often have an idea of how things go on that's hard to sway. It's not impossible to change that ending though!
I have another question.
Send it in! No, seriously. Just mark it as being for the admin in some way and I'll answer.
What happened to Anon?
Unfortunately for now I've had to disable it thanks to people spamming it and me being unable to block the spammer due to them being anonymous. I might consider bringing it back in future, but for now, if you want to ask an anonymous question add in the ask that you don't want followers to see you and I'll scrub your username off.

Harris is actually a pretty decent candidate and here's why
I have seen a lot of the same talking points that lost us the 2016 election getting repeated - a lot of talking about the very worst parts of the Democratic candidate, mixed with a lot of "vote blue no matter who" nonsense and I just want to say... Harris actually is a pretty decent candidate and it completely kills me that NO ONE is talking about this. Is she perfect? No absolutely not. Are all American politics conservative compared to global politics? Well... they used to be. But lots of people have said that a rise of fascism here in the US have emboldened the right globally , so that's not great. In either case, yes they are conservatives. But their policies aren't completely terrible and in fact I agree with a decent amount of them. So here's the good things about the Harris campaign, and why you shouldn't just vote for her, but vote for her and feel good about it.
Economics
Harris has an 82 page PDF on her website with a plan to re-energize the middle class. It includes a ban on price gouging, a cap on insulin and investment in clean energy, among many other intersectional policies. It includes a bunch of affordable housing policies including banning large investor purchases. It simplifies taxes for small businesses. It would end unnecessary degree requirements on jobs. It's 82 pages densely packed with not just good policy but actionable policy, if I went through all of it, this post would just be nothing but the economic plan. The Harris economic plan is actually pretty good. Is it a socialist pipe dream? No of course not. I think it's better than that. It's progressive policy that benefits everyone in this country, which will make more progressive policies even more popular. This is the kind of economic plan that starts shifting you back to the left.
Race
Harris has made supporting Black men a priority for her campaign. This plan includes LEGALIZING MARIJUANA FEDERALLY in order to overturn unjust tough on crime convictions. Reading Harris' own campaign page for this post TODAY is when I learned Harris wants to legalize weed. The Opportunity Agenda which focuses on supporting Black men and the issues they told her they are facing also includes FEDERAL REGULATIONS ON CRYPTOCURRENCY. It includes 1 million loans for Black entrepreneurs (can't help but notice that one is carefully ungendered, Black women), invest in community violence intervention, launch a health equity initiative, and invest in combating discriminatory housing. Reading this policy on supporting Black men on Harris' own campaign page... this isn't just Democratic policy, this is legitimately left-leaning.
Queer Rights
One of the reasons I was pushed to write this up is that recently someone whose opinion I normally respect said that they didn't like Harris' answer that she would "follow the law" on providing trans care for inmates. A law her administration confirmed when they reissued the transgender offender manual, by the way. As far as I can tell Harris has a long and progressive history on queer rights, even with the nuance that she was legally obligated to defend the CA DoC when they sued over the matter in 2015. Harris treats trans healthcare as something obvious - a normal decision between a person and their doctor which should be protected like anything else while her administration also quietly enshrining access to health care into law. This is part of the problem. Biden has signed at least four separate executive orders about gender since he took office and no one talks about it. i think the conservative pushback on this topic has been so aggressive and widespread that it's been difficult to see what should have been the effects of Biden's progressive policy on LGBT issues.
Environment
Harris is very good on climate. I've already mentioned that it's worked into the economy stuff. She's got policy on reducing emissions, she investigated Exxon Mobil, and as a senator she co-sponsored the Green New Deal. She's waffled on fracking and seems to currently prefer making it economically nonviable as compared to clean energy, which isn't as good as a ban. But most of the policies she's supported aren't just "better than Trump" they're actually good.
Immigration
It would be dishonest of me to write all this up without getting into some of the things I dislike Harris on. I don't like Harris on immigration. No one does - she's either too lax or too strict. She wants to resurrect the bipartisan border security bill, which, although it does call to expedite asylum process, would also increase deportations and in my opinion makes too many concessions in the name of bipartisanship. Her stance has not been very vocal other than to say she supports this bill. But I've noticed that Biden's policies on immigration have often been softer than they appear, including caveats to keep families together and expand the possibility of legal immigration while controlling for illegal immigration. I'm not necessarily against that - a major source of illegal immigration is corporations trafficking workers across the border legally and then not helping them renew their work visas. That is something we need to crack down on at the corporation side in my opinion and I wish we could see a candidate who talked about that part of it as an immigration issues. This is something that I think Harris is too conservative on and I won't hide from that. I also don't think she's being given much of a choice. Conservatives are frothing at the mouth over immigration. It's really really scary. There are way too many people willing to take matters into their own hands on this one. I want something more progressive but I understand taking a stricter stance on this one as a form of harm reduction. If these people think the country is being "overrun," they'll just take the solution into their own hands. We don't want that.
Palestine
Yep, we had to get there. Look, no electable politician in the United States is going to give a good answer to Palestine. We are far too entrenched with Israel and imperialism and war profiteering for a leader to easily take the moral stance here - they would receive too much pushback from their peers. The bar is set really, really low here, and that isn't a good thing. I don't think Harris is going to call what's happening in Palestine a genocide while it's ongoing, and I don't actually think she'll withdraw military aid, though I am hopeful that she'll do what Biden has done before and restrict it. But I do know that Gazans say that Harris would be the better president and I do know that Arab Americans support Harris and I do know that Harris said Palestinians have a right to self-determination. I included this because it's an important issue for many voters and one of the biggest deal breakers for a lot of leftists in the US. I believe Harris will act in ways that make her complicit in genocide if she gets elected. And I believe she will try to limit that harm more than a lot of other politicians would. This is the one where I would say that in comparison the situation under her leadership would be much better than under Trump. Trump supports an Israeli victory, not a ceasefire. He's told Netanyahu to "finish the problem." In fact Trump has already contributed actively to the genocide in Palestine. He dropped the US commitment for a two-state solution in 2017 and declared Jerusalem as Israel's capital in the same year. He cut aid to Palestine and reversed US policy on the Golan Heights and the occupation of the West Bank. One of these candidates disapproves of what's happening, but might not have the backbone to stop it. One of these candidates will actively participate. And that's enough for my conscience to be clear.
In conclusion
Voting is about compromise and accountability. Who do I think will enact at least some policies I agree with, and how can I pressure them to enact even more? Elect Harris and then petition the White House to revoke military support of Israel and there is at least a chance they will listen. Elect Harris and we'll have at least a little longer to breathe clean air while fighting for a solution to all the other problems we have. Elect Harris and she'll LEGALIZE MARIJUANA WHY IS THIS THE FIRST TIME I'M HEARING ABOUT THIS.
#2024 presidential election#vote blue#not because we must#but because sometimes democrats actually do the right thing#us politics#election#politics#vote harris#also I feel the need to add#I am not an expert on these topics#I just took the time to hunt up some coverage#in my opinion the marijuana thing isn't a big deal#But I draw attention to it to point out that this is a pattern#Obama Biden and it looks like Harris all do this#they hide liberal policy in moderate bills in order to get them passed
