Since Yor and Loid both work very dangerous jobs they have picked a few quirks in relation to safety. Their ideas of what's a normal thought process are a bit warped. But because they're so close it never really strikes them as odd

Loid: There are approximately 15 exits to the exterior, including windows

Yor: 20 security workers. Some are posing as wait staff. No guns only tasers

Loid: No. The head one has a gun. Small discrete. It's probably a pistol. My best guess is that he's not supposed to have it.

Yor: right. I think that table in the north east is our safest bet.

Loid: I said the same thing. Best escape route. Can accommodate moving Anya with ease

Anya: I just wanted to meet bondman.

*Twilight showing Yor around a house they want to buy*

Loid: below the basement there's a secret cellar. There's also a tunnel that leads all the way to the garage at the back of the property so we can easily escape

Yor: that's nice but I am concerned about Anya. I don't want her to come down here and play and get stuck by accident.

Loid: yeah, I'm gonna have to work out the mechanics of it. Need it be discrete but also not easy for kids to play around with. Will take a minute

Yor: that's fine. But I do love having a cellar. Nice a spacious and soundproof.

Loid: you could kill someone down here and no one would know

Yor: exactly.

*Yor comes back from visiting Melinda's house and is discussing it with Loid*

Yor: the house is such a maze. If you wanted to break in you're gonna need a map

Loid: what's the security like

Yor: surprisingly light on the inside. You would be good once you're inside but getting inside is the real struggle.

Yor: I must say the landscaping is a great deception. You'd think it would be easy to break in and use the foliage as cover, but it's so noisy it would alert anyone.

Loid: *chuckles* those Desmonds really have a way with security huh

*watching a horror movie*

Yor, watching a man get chopped up: that's so anatomically incorrect

Loid: that's way to much blood for such a shallow cut

Yor: you only get that kind of spray for a jugular

Loid: There's no way they didn't get caught with all that stomping they've been doing

Loid: that's not how a silencer works

Yor: look at that bullet wound. That's way to big for the type of bullets they were using

Loid: The exit wound is the same size, too. Seriously, who directed this?

*Twilight about to teach Anya how to shoot a gun*

Yor: loid what the hell are you doing?

Loid: look ok she's needs to be able to defend herself against intruders. The stabbing and hand to hand combat rely on her being in close proximity. Guns are vest for long range

Yor:

Yor: fine. But we are not showing her how to use a shot gun. It's way to heavy. Trying a pistol.

Loid: No. Too small. It'll be harder for her to get a good shot in. Shot guns can be propped up so she won't have to carry it. Plus, they're way more socially acceptable to have in the house

Anya: Becky's probably playing dress up right now...

notes : I did not expect my previous posts to get the attention they did! Anyways, these are my headcanons for Liu! I just want to clarify that my version of Liu does NOT have DID as I don't believe it was portrayed properly in his original story. I also do not want to portray DID poorly.

★ Has heterochromia iridum. His right eye is green while his left eye is brown.

★ Spends A LOT of time watching documentaries, specifically one’s relating to psychology as it’s a huge fascination of his.

★ Very interested in journaling. He mainly writes about his feelings and thoughts as he has trouble understanding and describing them. Most of his entries include his violent and intrusive thoughts.

★ His alter ego, Sully, was an identity Liu had consciously created as a way to cope with his inner mental and emotional conflicts. He felt indifferent towards his brother. Part of him wanted to forgive him, despite almost being murdered by his own blood; The other held a massive grudge against him, actively wanting to torture him in the most brutal ways possible. As a “coping mechanism”, he resorted to lashing out at others, taking his anger out on innocent pedestrians mercilessly. He got much worse over time as it messed with his overall ability to manage his emotions. It resulted in him recognizing each one of them as overwhelming and unbearable.

★ Feels extremely guilty about his actions. He heavily regrets having taken out his own frustrations and anger on those who weren't to blame for it.

★ Originally had a lot of scars. Most of them have faded away with time, but he still has a few visible.

★ Occasionally has therapy sessions with Jack as he seems to have the most experience in the field. Most of these sessions include Liu rambling and trying his best to talk or even explain his emotions. Surprisingly, it’s helped him a bit.

★ Liu is very different from his persona, Sully. He’s soft-spoken, generally anxious, and quite sensitive. Most of the time, he’s willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

★ Liu tends to layer his clothing to hide most of these scars though, especially the large one on his neck as it hasn’t completely disappeared.

★ Often neglects his physical needs. He tends to prioritize things he considers to be more important, so he ends up forgetting most of the time.

★ Enjoys collecting a variety of items he finds that either catch his interest or is strange in general.

★ Knows how to play the violin as he used to take classes as a teen.

★ Taught himself how to sew! Whenever he’s out, he tends to accidentally rip parts of his clothing out of pure clumsiness, so he figured it’d be a useful skill to learn.

★ His height is around 5’9.

★ He has quite a distaste for horror movies, yet he’ll oddly enough find himself watching them. He especially takes in great detail of the gruesome murders happening in the films.

Okay, definitely Krampus. First watch was with my mother, and I hated it. We were laughing the entire time, the dialogue was horrid and the characters were horrible written and I had perfectly predicted everything- And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. but there was something so goddamn campy about it, something about the creature designs, something about the entire concept that just reminded me of when I was a little kid and would just go on tangents creating these overly edgy mascot horror esc-monsters, I felt like 6th grade me had written it. Anyways, I went back to a second watch, as the movie made me oddly… Nostalgic? It had given me a weird sense of Deja Vu, I guess. But anyways, second watch I completely ignored any of the actual story and just watched the creature designs that started to show up at the second half of the movie. Around Christmas I randomly get this weird urge to just watch it, even though I hate the dialogue and characters and general story. If I tune out enough it suddenly turns to an awesome movie. I love watching videos that absolutely rip IN to the movie, but I just love to have it on in the background while I do anything slightly related to Christmas. Anyways, thank you for my rant.

all quiet on the western front no questions asked , but dead poets society is a close second ! they're both amazing movies , but aqotwf is pretty graphic , so watch out !!

my name is rurumi and i enjoy spending my free time writing!

some of my hobbies (outside of writing) includes: drawing, building gundams and keyboards, and fashion! i got into most of them on a whim and became instantly hooked. aside from self-expression, being into fashion also helps with making friends in college because you always have something to talk about!

a book that left a lasting impression on me would have to be either kafka on the shore by haruki murakami or before the coffee gets cold by toshikazu kawaguchi. both stories have kept me up at night thinking a lot about the 'what ifs' in life.

i enjoy soul/r&b alongside anything of jrock influence, but i will basically listen to anything that sounds good. i am currently listening to 'so what' by lucy!

my favorite character at the moment is rin itoshi from blue lock because hes so ridiculously edgy, but at the same time i sympathize with him a lot. on the other hand, my favorite character of all time is suletta mecury from the witch from mercury series, she's an absolute ball of sunshine that i aspire to be.

I like to imagine the kurashikis game over ace jigsaw style when leaving him tied up in the van and that's not an euphemism if you've never seen a Saw movie they like to have these big dramatic scenes where the mastermind says Game Over before locking someone up for good or cornering them or otherwise establishing the winner of the game and it's iconic even if it. got a little silly by like the fifth time it happened anyways I think it fits them and they should get to do it

Realized it’s the 36th anniversary for The Lost Boys (released July 31, 1987) a.k.a the movie that fundamentally changed me as a child (in a queer way)

Usually I link my ko-fi to my art pieces but considering this is a movie distributed by Warner Bros., I’m not gonna cause even though I just draw for fun for a small amount of followers, I don’t wanna risk making money from this post specifically (as unlikely as it is). I don’t know how strict the lines are for fan content that are made by the companies being struck right now (both for new media and old media), I just know that you can’t take any deals that a company tries to make with you in order promote current work for the companies being struck. However, considering I want to work in the industry one day, I’m not going to risk it by putting the ko-fi link directly onto this post. I’m only using this fanart to express my love for how this movie was written and acted, as it is filled with so much queer subtext, iconic comedic lines, and genuinely scary moments. This movie would not be a cult classic without the writers and actors involved, and considering this movie is on streaming sites like Netflix, those actors and writers should be paid for what they are worth, and I want to express that.
