thinking about wattpad and here are some silly things i remember:

-jackson wang parties

-mothers just selling their daughters to boy bands

-authors notes where they were like : "sorry for the late update, i got hit by a bus and then my mom got cancer and died so we're going through it but i hope you like the chapter."

-male leads dicks always being 8-12in

-13 and dating (insert name of grown ass man here)

-a common storyline i remember is y/n wearing a dress or smth that belonged to her dead mother and mean girls destroying it so the leading male can make it all better

Jackie and Wilson by Hozier really amazes me as a song because it originally sounds like such a happy love song, and then at the end the rug is sort of pulled out from under us as his love interest leaves, and then the final chorus lets us know that this is an ongoing cycle of the narrator going out looking for a lover who he can project his desires for healing onto, and is ultimately never going to be satisfied because all of these relationships are so short lived and fleeting.

I forget allistic/non adhders can just TURN OFF their interests once it isn’t important.

I learned this after I offered my friend my book about languages dying to her after she got an A in linguistics. And she went “thank you, linguistics was cool and all, but I’m not interested in it anymore”

What. I have to be put on a detox for at least a quarter before I can “lose interest”, however it can then just come back at any moment. What do you mean you can find it interesting and then just leave that interest when it is no longer needed? WHAT DO YOU MEAN???
