I made hotpot tonight.

I bought that mini hotpot dish on a whim while shopping for ingredients, and I'm so glad I did. You can technically make hotpot in any old pot, but the ceramic keeps the heat in, and it just feels right.

#it has all my favorites #fish balls with roe #soft tofu #lotus root #chrysanthemum greens #gai lan #mushrooms #and rice cakes #unfortunately color wise none of those are very pretty after boiling but 🤷🏻‍♀️#that's vinegar with chili oil on the side for dipping
