Ok so this is a sequel to another shadvani crying headcanon post/comic thingy of mine. The main headcanons in this one are:

Both of them almost never ever cry in front of others, for different reasons.

But pure vanilla (either consciously or unconsciously) is more comfortable crying in front of shadow milk after thousands of years of him observing vani.

He expected mockery, mockery is fine, he just can't stand anymore pitying looks. He didn't expect that though.

Shadow milk have no idea how to comfort people lol

Entering muddy ground with this one, Elderlily is one of those dynamic that sparks joy in my heart no matter what. Love seeing them together in whatever context, their relationship in canon is far too sweet I WUV them-

If one were to be on twitter during Jan to March (approx.) then one would know this ship ran into some rather nasty turbulent waves in its early days. I won't get into the whole drama here but it's rather sad how such sweet ship ended with such negative connotations due to it. The whole drama also near-turned me off to most Lily ships for a while, it's just really upsetting seeing a great character like her get stuck in constant meaningless ship wars. So I'm a bit torn. On one hand platonic Elderlily w a dash of aro/ace Lily is great, but on the other, I need them to be canon since they're cute and I'm 70% sure their feelings are mutual...

One thing is for sure tho, this ship is SO underrated, I can barely find any recent content for it *sobs*

Ah beautiful old man yaoi, one of the bigger ships in the fandom, with the second highest fic count on AO3 right after Express0 x Mad3line. Most Cacao ships do be peak because Cacao's my fav he deserved all the love with the crap he has to face daily, and this ship hits a LOT of good tropes, I can totally see why so many like them. Sadly, it's not for me. Platonic friendship so kool and valid.

This may come across as a surprise/disappointment to most but I'm generally neutral/lukewarm to all B3ast x Ancient beside Sh4dvani. Getting me to prefer the romantic interpretation is like getting the stars to align or sum thing.

I do see the potential for them, Sp1ce is thirsty af in EP 6 if you squint, actually you don't even need to squint, this man wanted his butt kicked by the pretty bird lady so bad it's amazingggg. But I'm more interested in their relationship with their followers than their relationship with each other (platonic or otherwise)

anyway today has only reinforced my opinion that beast x ancient fans are the nicest and most supportive people in the crk fandom that ive ever met... or just in any fandom in general, and the rest of yall are lowkey just hateful and rude for no reason 😭 idc if the fandom hates shadowvani fans. i love them. the general fandoms opinion means absolutely nothing to me when shadowvani fans are the reason im still drawing crk in the first place. i just appreciate u guys a lot and im glad i finally have a space where im comfortable posting art publicly without feeling like deleting my account. peace and love on planet earth

Forsooth! I do verily believe this ship to be my Roman Empire, my valiant Argo favored by the gods, the destined ship to let me sail the daring sea that is the cookie run fandom!

An impromptu speech is much needed and I can't yap enough about how interesting/horrible these two are for each other. But this time I'll only made 2 points: First, I've played crk for 3+ years, this is the first and only ship in the fandom so far that have captured my interest as much as it did <- May or may not be a catastrophic mistake on my part, but the heart can't control what it yearns for, so, welp.

Second, a thing about shadvani is that it can be surprisingly versatile. SM and PV is the classic boke and tsukkomi, so yeah plenty of comedy/shitpost potential. Their angst/toxic potential is a no brainer. And we can't forget their symbolism and roles within the narrative, their dynamic is a ripe-open field for character studies/analyses. There's plenty of ways to enjoy this ship! Vanilla milkshake can be quite flavorful wow

So do you ever think about how in the current event you need to be in a team of 3 cookies to participate, and we've met exactly 3 beasts in the story?

This is more of just a silly skin idea, but I still couldn't help but overthink of how they'd end up in this situation.

I imagine the Beasts joining the Grand Cookie Games for fun, bc unrestricted public violence, and they get to make a show out of it on a big stage?? It's like a relaxing holiday for them! 🥰

The ancients were on an *actual* holiday break but got roped into the chaos when they noticed the Beasts were present.

my idea is that Pure Vanilla, Dark Cacao and Golden Cheese (or Hollyberry bc I really want to see her in the arena) weren't planning to sign up for the tournament at all, but they went to check out the commotion caused by the Beasts, happened to be at the right place when the competition started, and decided it's too late to back out at this point - after all, someone had to put a stop to the Beasts were planning, and the general public doesn't even know of their existence, so they can't publicly reveal their identities in fear of causing mass panic. The only choice is to eliminate them in they competition and take care of them safely, away from bystanders (cartoon logic don't think too much about it)

It would be a funny role reversal to see "the good guys" try maybe a little bit of sabotage, and the beast team dance around the rules so that what they're doing is juuuust on the verge of being allowed.
