What legacy will I leave in my career and in the world? PAC READING
TIP JAR - FREE READINGS - PAID READINGS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let’s explore how your art influences the world. I believe everything can be art in its potential and essence—whether it's something literal, like an artistic creation, or any career or path you’ve chosen. Your life is your art, and you are the artist.
We’ll look at how your career affects the world, either directly or indirectly.
1-2
3-4
Tumblr media
Little note: I’m aware of the old belief that only "famous" or public figures can leave a mark or create a before-and-after impact. But let me clarify: we are all here for a reason. Each of us contributes to either the improvement or decline of the world. We all hold the same level of importance and impact on a soul/spirit level. Everything else is just appearances.
Please always remember that what you do matters, and by following your passion, you are energetically helping and contributing to the world. We are all responsible for creating a new world—heaven on Earth.
Tumblr media
Group 1:
Your legacy will be one of resilience, strategy, and transformation. You’re someone who has faced challenges with cleverness and a sharp mind, using your struggles as opportunities to rise above. The impact you leave on the world will stem from your ability to outmaneuver obstacles and show others how to adapt in difficult situations.
You are a visionary, someone who turns ideas into action. Your career will reflect bold, strategic moves that inspire others to take charge of their own destiny. The world will remember you as someone who took calculated risks and proved that intelligence and creativity can overcome even the harshest circumstances.
Your work is deeply rooted in truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. The heartbreaks and setbacks you’ve endured have only strengthened your determination to create something meaningful. While others may have faltered, you’ve used those experiences to fuel your purpose, teaching others to find strength in their vulnerability.
You are a leader who balances charisma with grounded wisdom. People are drawn to your confidence and warmth, and you’ll leave a legacy of empowerment, especially for those who felt unseen or undervalued. Your career will inspire others to embrace their unique qualities and step into their own light.
However, the journey hasn’t been without its sacrifices. You’ve faced periods of disconnection, where collaboration felt more like a burden than a joy. Yet these moments have taught you how to stand firm in your vision, reminding others that independence and collaboration can coexist.
Your legacy will also involve bridging gaps and building foundations. Whether through literal structures or metaphorical ones, your career will leave behind a sense of stability and progress. You’ve taught the world that true success requires both careful planning and the courage to act.
Your emotional depth is one of your greatest strengths, but it hasn’t always been easy to manage. At times, your passion has felt overwhelming or misdirected, but your willingness to face these emotions head-on has turned them into powerful tools of expression and connection.
You will be remembered as someone who brought people together, even when the odds seemed impossible. Your work will foster unity and understanding, teaching the importance of collaboration and shared vision.
Ultimately, your legacy will shine as a testament to resilience, transformation, and the power of a determined spirit. You’ve proven that even in the face of adversity, it’s possible to create something lasting and profound.
Tumblr media
Group 2:
Your legacy is one of hope, healing, and the reclamation of power. You have walked through darkness and emerged stronger, and the world will remember you as a beacon for those who feel lost or defeated.
You’re a bridge between the past and the future. Your career is rooted in nostalgia and the lessons of history, yet it also pushes boundaries and redefines what is possible. This duality makes your work timeless, resonating across generations.
Your creative spark is undeniable, and your passion for growth and learning inspires others to take chances and embrace new opportunities. Even in moments of doubt, you’ve persevered, proving that beginnings and endings are all part of the same journey.
At times, your career has been shaped by power struggles and moments of uncertainty. These challenges have taught you the value of integrity and humility. You’ve learned that true authority comes from within, and your ability to rise above external pressures will leave an indelible mark.
Your legacy will include breaking societal norms and redefining success. You’re not afraid to challenge expectations, and your work reflects a balance between personal freedom and responsibility. This fearless approach will inspire others to embrace their individuality.
Your ability to adapt and rebuild will be a central theme in your career. Even when faced with failure or setbacks, you’ve found ways to pivot and keep moving forward. This resilience will show others that no situation is ever truly final.
You have a magnetic presence that draws people to you, but it hasn’t always been easy to manage. At times, your charisma has been misunderstood or underestimated, yet it’s precisely this complexity that makes your work so impactful.
You will leave behind a legacy of liberation—helping others free themselves from limiting beliefs and societal expectations. Your career will serve as a roadmap for anyone seeking to reclaim their power and redefine their identity.
Ultimately, your work will be remembered as a source of light in dark times, proving that healing and transformation are possible no matter the circumstances.
Tumblr media
Group 3
Your legacy will be one of introspection, wisdom, and quiet power. You are a seeker of truth, someone who has delved deeply into life’s mysteries and emerged with profound insights. The world will remember you as a guide for those navigating their own paths.
Your career is marked by cycles of growth and reflection. You’ve embraced change as a necessary part of life, showing others that even setbacks can lead to new opportunities. This perspective will inspire many to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles.
Creativity is at the heart of your legacy, but it hasn’t always been straightforward. You’ve faced blocks and moments of doubt, yet these experiences have only deepened your understanding of what it means to create authentically.
Your work challenges conventional ideas and explores themes that others might shy away from. You’re unafraid to confront the shadows, using your career as a platform to shed light on the hidden or misunderstood aspects of life.
You have a unique ability to balance intuition with logic, blending emotional depth with intellectual rigor. This combination makes your work both deeply personal and universally relevant, touching hearts and minds alike.
Your legacy will include breaking down barriers—whether cultural, emotional, or intellectual. You’ve shown that vulnerability and strength can coexist, and this message will resonate long after your career has ended.
At times, your path has been solitary, but this solitude has only strengthened your connection to your inner wisdom. You’ve used these moments to create work that is deeply meaningful, offering guidance to those who feel lost or disconnected.
You will be remembered as someone who brought clarity to confusion and hope to despair. Your work will serve as a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is always a way forward.
Ultimately, your legacy is one of transformation and enlightenment, leaving a lasting impact on those who encounter your work.
Tumblr media
Group 4
Your legacy is one of empowerment, discipline, and mastery. You are a force to be reckoned with, and the world will remember you as someone who harnessed their power to create lasting change.
Your career is built on hard work and dedication. You’ve shown that success doesn’t come overnight but is the result of consistent effort and unwavering commitment. This message will inspire generations to pursue their dreams with determination.
You are a natural leader, someone who isn’t afraid to take charge and make tough decisions. Your work reflects this strength, and others will look to you as a model of confidence and capability.
Your ability to balance ambition with compassion is one of your greatest strengths. You’ve taught the world that success isn’t just about individual achievement but also about lifting others along the way.
At times, you’ve faced temptations or distractions, yet your ability to stay focused and disciplined has set you apart. This resilience will leave a lasting impression, showing others the importance of staying true to their goals.
Your career will include moments of collaboration and celebration, where your ability to bring people together shines. You’ll be remembered for creating spaces of joy and unity, teaching others the value of community and shared success.
You are deeply intuitive, even when you don’t always trust yourself. Over time, you’ve learned to listen to your inner voice, and this wisdom will guide others to do the same.
Your work challenges societal norms, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and encouraging others to think outside the box. You’ll leave a legacy of innovation and progress, paving the way for future generations.
Ultimately, your legacy will be one of empowerment and transformation, proving that with focus, discipline, and heart, anything is possible. You’ve shown the world the power of perseverance and the beauty of a life lived with purpose.

What was the moment that made you fully go “Oh fuck Generative AI is dangerous”
Because everyone has their moment when they realize there is no place at all for Generative AI if we want a good future
so there were a couple different things. i think it was summer of 2023, there was a whole thing about chat gpt being able write a stony omegaverse fic, and i remember going “oh- so they probably stole fanfic, i don’t fuck with that shit.” and it wasn’t really something that came up for a while, but like at family events and shit when inevitably i get asked about tech stuff bc i’m the oldest nephew/grandkid/cousin, i’d be like “yeah no they’re probably stealing shit and also fuck you i write my own shit thank you very much”
at some point last year when character ai started to get a lot more popular (or maybe i was just seeing more stuff about it), i just got the vibe that this was going to go downhill very fast
there was also the thing with open ai using scarlett johansson’s voice, and at that point i started to be a lot more concerned about the ethical issues surrounding ai
but then last semester i took a 7ish week seminar on gaston bachelard’s the poetics of space (written in i think the 50s, a difficult but super enjoyable read), and in the introduction he wad talking about poetic images and humanity and stuff, and then i started thinking about generative ai more. and i ended up writing my final paper for the class on art as something fundamentally human, and the experience of experiencing art as both something unique to the individual and also as something shared by virtue of the human condition. and one of the reasons i picked this topic was so i could be like “yeah no keep generative ai the fuck out of art, it’s stripping the humanity out of something inherently human,” and now here we are
also towards the end of the class was when suchir balaji, the guy who blew the whistle on open ai’s copyright infringement “killed himself” a couple days later (you know, like whistleblowers are wont to do /s), and at that point i was like “yeah no this is significantly more unethical than most people are talking about”
and while there are absolutely so many environmental issues with generative ai, my dislike and distrust of it has always come from the place of a writer, of someone who’s been in creative spaces for the vast majority of my life, as a humanities (specifically liberal arts/philosophy) major, as someone who has been a massive reader their entire life, and as someone who has a lot of Feelings about art and storytelling as something inherent to the human condition, a representation of human emption and creativity, and ultimately our desire to be understood in our humanity
i’ve also always loved sci fi, shit like i, robot and do androids dream of electric sheep? (the book that blade runner was based on). i have so other sci fi books about ai on my tbr, but if anyone has any recommendations, please (!!) send them my way (next up is i have no mouth but i must scream). i also recently got a bunch of books about ai, and like its relation to humanity as well as ethics shit, which i’m also very excited about (shout out thrift books!!). i just finished unmasking ai by dr joy buolamwini, which is about her work and research in ai development, specifically what she calls the ‘coded gaze,’ which is the racist and sexist algorithmic biases in facial recognition technology, and some ethical issues that come up with training. i can’t recommend it enough. another good rec about ai is bury your gays by chuck tingle, which is another fucking masterpiece
my god do i love yapping. and i’ll do it at the slightest provocation (this is a threat)

I don’t ask this expecting you have THE answer or that there is one, but I follow a non Palestinian white man on insta (in addition to many Palestinian folks in diaspora and in Palestine) who mostly shares things from Palestinian ppl/sources.
He has several times criticized / shared criticism of charity dinners, music festivals etc raising funds for Gaza with the perspective of, it’s not appropriate to have a dance party or dinner while people are undergoing genocide, but also that in this moment, art isn’t resistance because there needs to be physical resistance, blockades of weapons, etc.
I’ve seen this echoed from some others especially critiquing white folks trying to claim “joy is resistance” right now, which makes sense to me, but i also wonder if it’s reductive to say art or music is not resistance because I feel like it can have a lot of power especially alongside social movements… was wondering if you had thoughts on this or perhaps knew where I could look to learn more.
Please ignore if this is too much, and thank you
I think things like writing and illustration and music feeds into the spirit of revolution and is necessary in that way. You have to energize the masses somehow, and to ensure that your message spreads as far as possible. A good way is to make art, or to sing a song, or write a story.
That's why Wisam Rafeedi wrote his book and different resistance factions make posters and videos — to spread their ideas and garner support among the masses.
It's not as important as putting yourself in immediate physical danger to incapacitate the colonial entity — but I think for Palestinians and other colonized peoples, they do need to make art to really process their thoughts. Of course there's a difference when a Palestinian in Palestine, a Palestinian in the diaspora, a nonPalestinian ally of color, and a NonPalestinian white ally do this. I won't deny that there's a nuance when it comes to this.
But writers who write about Palestinian Liberation historically have been assassinated because of how they participate in liberation actions and also spread ideas of liberation themselves. I don't know which white guy you're talking about but I feel like this is mostly a conversation that should be led by Palestinians if we're talking about Palestine because they understand the nuance of saying statements like "the only resistance is physical." I understand what he's saying to an extent but that does erase a lot of Palestinian resistance the past few decades by making sweeping statements like "art is not resistance" and kind of simplifies the issue at hand.
Charity dinners and galas and that stuff... I don't know what I think about them, I think that people are going to do it either way so my opinion doesn't really matter. Hey, if you're going to raise thousands of dollars for Palestine, I'm not going to stop you at all. I personally think you should try to avoid posting pictures and stuff like that from the gala itself if you're going to host one just out of courtesy.
I guess overall what I'm trying to say, art resistance becomes physical a lot of the time. I think its really reductive to say "art isn't resistance" and also personally insulting considering I have family members and friends who were journalists, creative writers, and artists and killed/targeted for their work.
Here's this article by Fargo Tbahkhi about the role of writing during a genocide that might be a good read. They also mention how Israeli propaganda (calling Palestinians "human animals"/"Amalek" as an example) is specifically a use of culture and writing to energize people to commit genocide. An especially poignant part that I completely agree with, and am trying to get at:
Palestine requires that we abandon this catharsis. Nobody should get out of our work feeling purged, clean. Nobody should live happily during the war. Our readers can feel that way when liberation is the precondition for our work, and not the dream. When it is the place we stand, and not the place we shake ourselves towards. In this way, what the long middle of revolution requires, what Palestine requires, is an approach to writing whose primary purpose is to gather others up with us, to generate within them an energy which their bodies cannot translate into anything but revolutionary movement. This is what Boal modeled for us in his theatrical experiments, which were dedicated to empowering audiences to act, to participate in a creative struggle to envision and embody alternatives. For Boal, theater was not revolution, but it was a rehearsal for the revolution, meant to gather communities together in that rehearsal. Creative work readies us for material work, by offering a space to try out strategies, think through contradictions, remind us of our own agency.

Hope you enjoy it <3
5th house represents romance, children and inner child, hobbies and creative pursuits, it’s also the house that represent gambling and winning from gambling. We usually find the sign that rules over our 5th house to be the sign that we use in the begging of the relationships and also our flirting style. The house it’s ruled by Leo and the Sun making her a succedent house.
The sun – positively aspect, this placement can indicate a person that express themselves truly, it’s very creative and can cheer others up with their attitude. Saturn- this is one of the harsher placements to have Saturn in my opinion, here this planet restricts your ability to enjoy having fun, you can have a deep fear of being judged or criticized by others about your hobbies and the way you entertain yourself. This placement may indulge in alcohol in order to don’t feel guilty when enjoying themselves. Your self-expression is very career orientated.

Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, fertility, and revelry, is a complex and fascinating figure whose mythology weaves together themes of ecstasy, chaos, and transformation. Born to Zeus, the king of the gods, and the mortal Semele, Dionysus’s birth was marked by tragedy and divine intervention. Hera, Zeus’s wife, tricked Semele into demanding Zeus reveal his true form, which incinerated her. Zeus saved the unborn Dionysus by sewing him into his thigh until he was ready to be born. This unusual birth symbolized Dionysus’s dual nature as both divine and mortal. Raised by nymphs, Dionysus grew to embody the life force and was associated with the vine, which produces wine, a substance that can both delight and destroy.
Dionysus wandered the world, spreading the art of viticulture and the ecstatic worship that accompanied it. His followers, known as Maenads or Bacchae, would enter frenzied states of ecstasy through dance, music, and intoxication, often losing themselves in the process. Dionysus’s mythology also includes themes of resistance and acceptance. For instance, King Pentheus of Thebes resisted Dionysus's influence, only to be driven mad and ultimately torn apart by his own mother in a bacchic frenzy. Conversely, Dionysus was also a god of liberation, bringing joy and divine madness that could free individuals from societal constraints. He represents the primal, untamed aspects of human nature, the potential for both creation and destruction inherent in ecstasy and revelry.
Here is an interpretation of Dionysus in each house:
1st House (Ascendant)

6th House

7th House (Descendant)

8th House

9th House

10th House (MC)
Influence: In the career and public life house, Dionysus can indicate a public persona that is charismatic and possibly controversial. There might be a drive to achieve recognition through unconventional means and a desire to stand out.
11th House
Influence: This placement can make social circles and friendships vibrant and dynamic. Individuals might be drawn to groups and causes that celebrate freedom, creativity, and unconventional lifestyles.
12th House
Influence: Dionysus in the 12th house can indicate a deep, hidden connection to the unconscious mind, spirituality, and mysticism. There may be a tendency towards escapism, and a need to balance the desire for transcendence with grounded reality.
Summary
Asteroid Dionysus's placement in the astrological houses highlights areas of life where themes of pleasure, creativity, chaos, and transformation are prominent. Understanding this can help individuals navigate their tendencies and harness the dynamic energy of Dionysus in a constructive way.

Either or its asking you to enjoy the motion that is forever changing. This is what we need to embrace our divine feminine flow!
“Flower” + “Scorpion” (Nature & Soul)
As change in scenery is good, it helps to transform you and your perspective on the way things should go. Be more open to new places, new jobs, new people from all cultural backgrounds. You shine the most when you explore your options. Take care of yourself by being down for the ride.
17
1+7 = 8
1 - 1 - do it yourself, ego, enjoyment, the sun, let it shine
7 - mysticism, spiritual, luck, god, the creator, universe
8 - transformation, power, the will, change
“Joyous Fun” (The Quantum Oracle)
Your luck comes in by the enjoyment you allow to grow in your life. You should try having fun at a concert, going to a art exhibit, or just simply finding the laughter and joy in just being. Experience the moment and allow your life to sore. You may not know the answers to everything but when you truly move forward in just doing something it gets favored. Take a chance on living! You never know what you might get ! ;)
“Foundation & Achievement” (The Psychic Tarot)
Its incredible to be able to live the life we want to live but how are you going to receive it? Start slow and relax. Still take moments out of your day to find the time to be in pure bliss. You dont have to stop your life to ‘have everything in place’ like you think.
85
8+5 = 13 / 1+3= 4
8 - transformation, power, the will, change
5 - change, adventure, the mind, agility
13 - divine feminine, transformation, ‘the witch’
(For this reading 13 is divine order. Its the mother/universe. The feminine urge)
“Courage” (The Quantum Oracle)
Take pride in who you’re ancestors made you to be. You got the juice. You're the originator. The trendsetter. The one who starts it all. They may not get it now, but they’ll play catch up later. Take control on how the world sees you, thats your gift. You control the cards. They wish they had it like you, however they dont know what darkness you had inside of you alchemizing itself into power.
Your power causes reactions out of people that can attract or repel. You’re a magnet to others emotions but this is how you keep balance. Being who you are proudly causes others to look at themselves deeper to the point it shifts their thinking. You mirror those who need healing, they cant take you with them to their shadowy nightmares but you sure can bring it out of them. Dont let them get to you, they just wanna see you down because you’re too high for em.
“Peacock” Nature & Yoga
Beauty is surrounding you. Be cautious with who you let in your circle. They’re not deserving of you. Be kind as what comes around goes around. If they’re not kind back, it will surely come back to them. You’re mother natures brightest jewel, they cant keep treasure hiding for ever. Be open to letting the world see your new self. Its time to embrace that beautiful nature of yours. The world needs to see it.

✨Faye's Writeblr Reintroduction✨
Hello to all my fellow writing nerds, new and old! Thank you for checking out my updated writeblr reintroduction post. I've had this blog for nearly five years and am long overdue for a post explaining who I am, what I create, and why I write. I'm hoping to interact with more writers on here so we can all make the writeblr community a more welcoming place by supporting each other's creative journeys. If you're an active writing blog, I'd really appreciate it if you could like or reblog this so I can follow you and we can screech into the void together and gush about all our favorite WIPS and characters! ♡
A Little About Me
My name is Faye, a sassy bisexual woman living out her best writer life. I’m a lover, a dreamer, and of course, a creative writer enthusiast. I love storytelling in all of its mediums, so you can usually find me reading, writing, worldbuilding, character building, or doing an unnecessary amount of research for my works (ADHD tunnel vision).
Why Do I Write?
I write for many reasons, the biggest one being for myself. I love weaving stories with nothing but words because it's fun, challenging, and personally meaningful. There's nothing quite like the feeling of sitting at my desk and giggling away like a madwoman as I type out some intense scene. That feeling is only second to the absolute joy I get when people tell me they've connected with my stories. <3
How Do I Get Inspired?
I'm inspired by many different kinds of storytelling types: music, art, mythology, literature, video games, you name it. My writing comes from an intimate place and is motivated by my dreams, passions, and overall life experiences. I want my stories to mean something, and in turn, I want to share that 'something' with others in hope of continuing the positive cycle of human to human inspiration that started my journey in the first place. 🥺 Ultimately, for me, writing is about fulfillment, personal expression, and human connectivity.
Faye's Favorite Genre(s)
It's difficult to exactly pin down what my favorite genre is (because I genuinely love so many of them) but if I had to narrow it down to two genres, it would definitely be fantasy and romance. I love fantasy and its many subgenres (high fantasy, modern fantasy, science fantasy), as well as romance and its various subgenres (dark romance, paranormal romance, fantasy romance). As a bisexual writer, every story I write has LGBT+ characters, relationships and themes. Whether I'm writing gay or hetero romances, I love playing with the complicated dynamics resulting from human relationships.
My Absolute Favorite Tropes, Themes, and Content
exploring human relationships: platonic, familial, and romantic
enemies to lovers, rivals to lovers, friends to lovers, strangers to lovers, lovers to enemies, friends to enemies, enemies to friends
sensuality, intimacy, slow burn, dark romance, spicy content
soulmates, souls bonds, magical ties, and mental links usually tied to the villain (I love dramatic enemies to lovers, so sue me)
angsty, whumpy, dark fiction exploring morally gray characters and the true duality of man & human nature (dark vs. light)
hurt/comfort stories that rip out your heart, chew it up like old jerky, then spit it back into the gaping wound in your chest cavity (always with HEAPS & HEAPS of satisfying comfort after) ♡♡♡
identity, self-discovery, personal journeys, and character growth
experiencing, overcoming, and healing from messed up trauma
defying fate and choosing your own path despite destiny's enigmatic design for the course of your life
Finally, I need my characters to find genuine happiness at the end of the story. Very, very few stories I write have sad, unsatisfying endings (because I am a TOTAL sap and need them to find peace)
Thank you so much for reading, and if any of the above sounds appealing to you, I'd really appreciate so much if you reblog or give me a follow so we can chat. Happy writing! 💕💕💕

Hello babes ❤️😊 I often journal about my day to day, and do a lot of write-ups about major events, things weighing on my mind, or retrospectives. The turning of the New Year is as good an event as any to write and reflect, so I'm posting a CastleByersAfterDark themed journal online to my dear blog to start off 2025. Thoughts, thanks, and resolutions/goals:
FANDOM
The last year has been such a game changer. I wasn't having very much fun online anymore which was bothersome for me, since fandom and nerding out over stuff I'm into has been one of main hobbies since I was really young. I still was massively invested in Stranger Things but felt stagnant and burnt out as all I was doing was scrolling and reading and was kinda bored. Found a few blogs on the "spicy" side and the gossip side and lurked with intrigue and envy. Tired of watching and never interacting, I created The Castle and joined all the fine folks I admired. My maelstrom of an imagination finally had a place to process and settle again.
This blog took on a life of its own - where I thought I would use it to simply track ideas for wips and maybe converse with other writers, I never anticipated this interactive space where we can all hang out and chat and share secrets and be totally open at our pseudo, perpetual sleepover online with friends both named and anonymous, from all over the globe. The content might get strange or emotional or filthy or silly here, but I never feel alone in letting my nerdom or freak flag fly and I hope many of you feel the love I certainly feel here and enjoy joining in and doing the same. Fandom feels a lot different than it did when I was thirteen years old, but this corner of the fandom has captured that old school magic. Creativity and freedom and connection.
In 2025, I look forward to this wonderful show we love airing and getting to experience the final season after immense anticipation. I eagerly await watching our beloved Will and Mike play out their beautiful storyline on screen. I am excited for all of the mysteries to unravel and finally be understood and to discover which theories were correct and what none of us could have predicted. I'm anticipatory about seeing a slow burn romance play out and pay off between two boys in an unexpected era and to feel joy and catharsis from a storyline I did not expect in a mainstream show. I look forward to the fun and peace to follow once the truth is finally known without a shred of doubt. I don't plan on going anywhere. Going to be a long year. And nebulous time after. Looking forward to continuing to theorize and draft ideas and hear visions and gab about the actors and Byler. I have so many stories to post. Incredibly happy to be here hanging out with yall. ❤️🫂🫶
REALITY
Something... major... happened to me this past year. Hmm. Wonder what that was? Oh, right. That man of mine decided I'm ok enough and put a ring on it. Hahaha I kid, you all know by now that we are madly in love 😉 2025 I will be married! Gosh. It's been months. Still cannot believe.
We're getting married in the summer and I'm also leaving the country for the first time for our honeymoon. Excited, nervous, filled with joyous anticipation. I always wanted to be someone's boyfriend - check. Found my absolute perfect person and we've helped each other become better people and be the best versions of ourselves. Soon, I will be and have a husband which is the most surreal thing, to have each found our The One, our soulmate. Mentally, I'm telling teenage me "you'll never believe what happens - everything you dream about comes true. Hold on for me, bud." 💙💙
RESOLUTIONS/GOALS
Write more. FINISH writing projects. Stay creative. Practice practice practice art. Continue to strive to be kind. And be kinder to myself. Be more present in real life and ensure time spent on hobbies is time spent worthwhile. Have fun and stay out of discourse. Never stop learning and enjoying the pursuit of knowledge.
Follow the colors as mantra. 🏳️‍🌈 Sex 💗 life ❤️ healing 🧡 sunlight 💛 nature 💚magic and art 💙 serenity 💜 spirit 💖 PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL FOR 2025 😘😘😘

📢 Fivela Secret Valentine 2025 // Some BTS and Trivia... Thank you all! 💖
👉 See full post in AO3:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/63929005/chapters/164826400
Secret Valentine: Challenges, Plot Twists & Hide & Seek!
Once again, our participants exceeded expectations!
This time, we used AO3’s matching system, randomly pairing participants based on shared keywords from their offers and requests. No one received the same Giftee as in Secret Santa, mixing seasoned authors with newcomers and artists with writers.
Like any challenge, some panicked when discovering their Giftee and prompts, but everyone pushed forward—whether with their best effort, best intentions, or both. Some were highly organized, while others spiraled into self-doubt, panic, and late-night despair. Yet in the end, everyone delivered—with sheer talent, determination, or dedication—if not all.
The past two months were a whirlwind of group support, cheerleading squads, writing sprints, spies, beta-readers, and giftee-checkers. The community came alive to make this event a posting feast and a resounding success!
We hope everyone enjoyed the experience—whether through the challenge of creating something in this fandom, the joy of receiving a gift, or simply the shared energy and enthusiasm.
While all stories were scheduled to drop on March 14th , the community came up with its own pace—posting steadily from February 14th to March 14th . Some were too excited to wait, some committed themselves early on so as not to pull out of fear, and others... well, they embraced the chaos and pulled a "we-die-like-Ben" drop, last minute or not 😂
And we thank everyone for the surprise postings and updates that kept us all on edge throughout the month!
👉 181,327 words—an impressive feat, even for the most hardcore readers, who couldn’t possibly read everything in one sitting! 😅👏
And guess what? Some stories aren’t even done yet!
Creative Highlights & Standout Moments
gaishnik drew a full comic (WIP) in an unmistakably jaw-dripping style in All I Need, while JustBWilde blessed us with another expertly edited Mastermind video. One isn’t born a Swiftie—they become one! Or, at the very least, please all the Swifties of the community 💘 Want another game? Find all Taylor Swift references in this Secret Valentine Event!
Whether you’re looking for hidden love, yearning love, cozy love, angsty or sad love, there is one story for every taste!
Alexa_K3S gave us a new spin to everyone’s all-time favorite Replacement with One wrong turn (WIP, 44k) writing one of her most cherished tropes—one of a pure and heartbreaking one-sided love story.
Rowan_555 joined her first event with a 90s romcom-inspired The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret (WIP, 25k), packed with her unmistakable “yearnalism” and breathtaking moments.. Did she get called out by the first chapter? Yes, she was.
okay_lets_be_still immersed us in an intense first-person POV with Chaos and Control, reminiscent of her I Want Tomorrow.
HansoDax drew first a piece of art in her evolving yet now unmistakable style, but challenged herself with more in I hear you like drawing, here's my JPEG by completing it with another chibi art and a challenging and kinky story.
Our authors and artists filled the space left in between seasons, or gave us a glimpse of what happened in the subways, at the Greenhouse, with Jerome and Nancy...
ClumsyBookworm18 entered this event with a bang, delivering a tensed and guilt-tripping illicit affairs from Lila’s POV while Tardis_jpg also gave us an angsty one from Five’s POV in Indentation. Both pushed us into the minds of both characters, each fighting against their feelings.
chronokinesis wrapped us in warm, smutty green woolen jumper Greenhouse’s moments, with Five's Favorite Place.
deadinsideserpent teased us with a short yet full-potential meeting in Secrets Keep Us Close while HansoDax & monfivela finally teamed up… just to write smut. Shameless smut, playing with Five and Lila’s dissociative identities in These Dreams Are Made of You.
Our participants didn’t hesitate to explore new POV and characters outside of Five and Lila:
In Is Your Drama Going to Have an Intermission Soon? I Need to Pee, InadequateAllAlong teased us with characters’ files and a moodboard before leading us through Klaus’ chaotic hamster-wheel mind.
LadyMoony delivered a heartfelt story from Grace’s POV, In her eyes, offering a fresh and innocent perspective on the Fivela dynamic.
Can you imagine Five as the main character in an AU!Academy setting? As a therapist, a teacher, or a barrister?
Stephsageek set the perfect stage for a rivals-to-lovers tale with a dash of mystery in Sincerely Yours. Who sent that love letter? Who also sent those ominous letters in KitsuneUdon743’s mysterious Bad Omens -inspired work Just like the Rain.
The plebs want to know.
For ifellintofantasy, it's high Time For Change as she gave a voice to Lila’s struggle and journey to save her marriage and her self while marygeldingm93 wrote a romantic and fun piece, using every trope loved by her giftee in Trying Not to Fall for You.
What happened between S2 and S3?
Once again, monfivela and she_goesonandon unknowingly explored a reasoning idea, with two complementing stories that opened a new plot: what if Lila went to Five in the Apocalypse post-S2?
Until Again and The Twins both tell a love story that begins in Apocalypse and takes years to fulfill.
Our participants went all their way to study and give back to the authors, creating fanworks around fanworks:
panjava_clown_69’s Fever Dream Hallucinations shared not one, but two, and maybe three edits! All inspired by Rowan_555’s epic and Fever Dream.
crankytrashpanda brought theirs and Tardis_jpg’s Male!Lila (Lyle) to life in a hopeful (and smutty!) subway-set one-shot. After gaishnik’s illustration, Lyle now has some stories! We want more of him 🙏
Delicately, LokiNightfury (our secret artist!) didn’t only draw one fanart inspired by Fancy Nancy (HansoDax’s Secret Santa) but five escalating pieces, from G to M in We can’t make any promises, but you can make me a drink.
People, stop raising the bar—just kidding, don’t ever stop 🍓
Some Fun Trivia!
We’ve had the joy to have crankytrashpanda, our hit-pitcher for Secret Santa, who answered the call for Tardis_jpg’s gift—the secret only stayed for an hour at most as would most authors who know each other too much, the pleasure was literally skyrocketing as Tardis_jpg read their beloved OC come to life in Be Mine… and by someone who certainly wasn’t supposed to participate! What does Lyle look like? Check out gaishnik's art!)
monfivela tried to hide behind an edit (but left a Subway Script signature that didn’t go unnoticed to our code breaker LokiNightfury) and only stayed secret as far as the title went (as noticed by Tardis_jpg) and within 5 minutes into reading when called out by ClumsyBookworm18. Instead of her usual rom-com AU, she went with an enduring love that spans decades and rewrote all seasons (21k).
Cheeky! LokiNightfury didn’t deny having any of the Fivela Community mods as her Giftee, faking sprint-writing and drew right under HansoDax ’s nose. The secret was too hard to keep, so for those looking at her titles, one would immediately guess the Swiftie’s mastermind behind. Throwing HansoDax off her scent with all other known and unknown artists was part of the game, until Ao3 safeguard system that didn’t allow an author to like their own work and comment under their name betrayed her.
Turnabout is only fair, and how could LokiNightfury conveniently forget HansoDax & monfivela were subbing for one of the assignments? The mischievous tag team led LokiNightfury on a wild goose chase to every explicit-content author until they had to point out who didn’t Kudos and commented. We love you too (sincerely, yours).
Final Words
This event was filled with passion, surprises, and unmatched creativity.
Thank you all for being part of this family. Your talent, enthusiasm, and support keep this ship sailing!
Now, go forth and read, comment, and spread the love!
We aim to please and hope you all have been well-fed 🍓
Sincerely yours,

#RikAndAdeFest2025 Countdown! ⏳
Welcome, scumbags from all corners! Yes, even you, spotty - get over 'ere. Why? Because with a new year comes a new round of our fantastic fest! The fifth one in a row!
To get you all in the mood and brainwash you into taking part, over the next couple of months we'll be sharing the opinions and experiences of scumbags who've taken part in our previous fests as we count down to the start of this year's.
These bastards know what they're talking about. Especially this one, our founding scumbag:
@xgardensinspace 💫
Tumblr media
Hello, hello! Deya here, sharing some thoughts on our little Rik and Ade fest! :)
I initially approached R about this idea because I adore our fandoms and the small, yet very close-knit community we have around these shows. As a creator that churns out art and fic under the influence of a time crunch, due to fest deadlines, I thought it would be very fitting that we had our very own fandom festival to apply this pressure on my and other creators’ schedules! This way, I can actually force myself to create MORE content for these fandoms I love so dearly. Well, that… but honestly, it was mostly because I also thought we needed a little fest in our community to celebrate one another, share ideas, and actually have a dedicated time for such creativity to flourish. Aside from the integrity of a structured fest, the outcome of this event allows us fans to look forward to the future of our space. If we create at least one or two more works each year for the shows we love, then we can rest assured that we will always have some new fanwork to look forward to!
When you dwell in niche fandoms, it’s always tough finding a large number of fanworks to keep us entertained; and this is particularly disheartening when the people interacting with the fanwork aren’t creators themselves, or don’t feel capable of formulating the fanfic or fanart that lurks in their brains. So if we have a fest dedicated to creating for these niche shows, we are constantly creating for ourselves and all our lovely friends that like to keep up with the newest silly little fics and silly little doodles of our favourite, bastard boys.
Plus, our fest is the perfect opportunity for these friends to come share those ideas in hopes that they get picked up and turned into a real fanwork! Overall, the whole point of the fest is to create community, and that’s ultimately what we all benefit from! We’re here to share thoughts, inspire one another, and equally push each other to make ideas into reality. The whole fest idea is also a lot of fun, because reading the witty prompts we all come up with each year is exciting on its own. And you just never know when you’ll find prompts that you thought only you had considered, so seeing someone else yearn for the same tropes that you’ve always dreamed of is an extremely gratifying experience.
In the end, I just wanted us to have a space each year to have fun, create and just look forward to sharing in the love of the worlds Rik and Ade created all those years ago. A safe space where we can be loud and silly together. I’ve added my own silly little prompts to the fest, and it’s always so lovely to see them get picked up, and even more exciting to see what people create out of these prompts! I’ve also directly participated last year and I hope I get to participate some more in the coming years! Time will always be mein enemy, but if a prompt really strikes my fancy, I just might work my schedule around creating fanwork for us, haha.
Hearing the feedback, seeing the joy and the love our members have for this fest is very rewarding! Last year we probably had the largest turnout and it made us feel so honoured! We hope this fest continues running for many years to come, and that everyone keeps enjoying the chaos.

I am back ! 𖡼𖥧𓍊𖤣𓋼𖡼𖤣𓍊𖡼𖥧𖤣𓋼 - 2025 GOALS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ve decided to revive this blog and continue what I started. Looking back to the time when I was posting regularly, I remember feeling so confident in my own skin and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
It allows me to explore and play with this stereotypical portrayal of femininity that I’ve depicted here, while also challenging my own perception of myself. It’s like stepping into a role that helps me reconcile with a bolder, edgier side of me—a side that I sometimes wish could take up more space.
Tumblr media
Now that 2025 has arrived, I’m ready to get closer to my goals and create that perfectly balanced lifestyle—like the ones you see on TikTok. I have a feeling this year is going to be spectacular, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things it has in store for us.
Being born on the 25th, I’ve always considered 25 my lucky number, so this year feels extra special. Let’s set some new goals and stay motivated together <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2025: The Year of Ambition
This year is all about growth, self-care, and pushing myself closer to my dreams. Here’s what I’m striving for:
• Read more books to stay inspired and develop my imagination.
• Ace my finals with at least a 14/20 as a grade.
• Focus on healing my gut, stopping hair loss, and calming my rosacea.
• Improve my posture and finally start the teeth, jaw, and palate treatment I’ve been putting off.
• Grow my Instagram to 3k followers and build a stronger online presence.
• Earn 5k with my small business and expand its potential.
• Dedicate more time to mental health: prioritize therapy and focus on nervous system healing.
• Land an internship in an auction house to pursue my career goals.
• Dive into creative activities, have a sketchbook, and let my imagination flow.
• Attend more exhibitions for my art knowledge.
• Go to the cinema at least four times a month.
• Build meaningful connections and make new friends along the way.
• End 2025 feeling proud of myself for how far I’ve come.
➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶➴
What about you? What are your goals or resolutions for 2025? And what are you grateful for from 2024? I hope this post has inspired you, and I would love for you to continue supporting this blog. I promise to stay committed and have plenty of post ideas to share with you in the future!
I also need to share what I’m most grateful for right now… I’ve met a man who has become a part of my daily life, and he is the most gentle, kind, passionate, and supportive person I’ve ever known. I’m so incredibly grateful to have him by my side that I almost have tears of joy as I write this.
If you read this ... I love you.

New Pinned Post
I'm no longer in need of back up money, so commissions aren't needed, but if you ever want to commission me, I'm usually open. I also occasionally put some of my art on redbubble.
Please read Boundaries before sending an ask.
Anyways, hello everyone, I am too lazy to find my old crack DID pride flag (it'll come up some day and I'll link it here), and I figured I should slowly update some of my intro stuff for this blog after not touching it for a fucking minute.
You can call me Feathers - we're a 21+ year old Buddhist mixed-AAPI intersex nonbinary system (they/them) that is fully fused. There's a lot of oddities going on with our system so here is a bit of an explanation of our system situation here. "So what's up with the Feathers anyways?"
OUT OF DATE (5/15/2014); Keeping for it being an interesting post. For the most recent discussion on Buddhism, Full Integration, Final Fusion, and Functional Multiplicity written by our fully fused self before our recent decision to swap back to Functional Mulitiplicity, feel free to read here; it's long but a pretty cohesive understanding of our current experiences with our DID and shit. (End of OUT OF DATE note)
We're diagnosed with DID, C-PTSD, autism, trichotillomania, OCD, and honestly a number of things cause complex-trauma life. We have some physical disabilities but nothing that typically causes too much obstruction in our day to day.
As a result of our state of recovery, we really don't have a set headcount, however we were / are polyfragmented.
Some fun things about us and things you'll see on this blog:
Due to the fact that DID is no longer really that much of an interesting topic / impactful part of our life, we only occasionally post about DID and our experiences with it. While it was the original purpose of this blog, as a depiction of our healing journey and what healing with DID can look like, we decided we would rather just post about whatever sparks joy in our life. As a result, rather than much content on DID, you will likely see things relating to the topics below. PLEASE feel free to send asks about ANY of the topics below. We love to talk about things.
We are Buddhist (primarily non-theistic; mostly non-denominational, largely Zen) and we really enjoy it. We particularly like the philosophy and do practice it. Admittedly, we identify as being god awful Buddhists, but thats okay cause its part of the process.
We love research and plan to go into it when our ducks are better aligned. We particularly love research and literature around developmental psychopathology, trauma, dissociation, animal behavior, and the more abstract neuroscience topics (particularly consciousness research). We likely won't post much on it as overtly here because I don't enjoy talking science on tumblr much because most people (in my experience) don't actually want to talk about research as much as they want to prove their point.
We are avid bird watchers and regularly document / photograph the birds we see and upload them to ebird. We really enjoy it as an activity and social engagement and really love sharing that joy and knowledge with people. We actually have a minor in Avian Science and have been tested on North American ID skills. We also know more than we need to about chicken biology as a result of said degree. If you want to send anything about birds, bird watching, or asking for a bird ID (even non North American), they are ALWAYS welcome and you are ALWAYS allowed to tag us in any bird related content.
We do a lot of creative work and have dedicated ourselves (without writing partner) to a large story world project that we've been writing for over a decade now. We actually specifically started grinding our art skills in 2020 specifically just to help build that world up. Art is one of our largest self soothing coping mechanisms. We are going to turn that story world into a comic and a TTRPG system so please check out @thedevaaffliction.
Overall, we really just like thinking about a lot of topics and things as part of both our interest in research, philosophy, and as part of our Buddhist practice. We don't really find an interest in arguing discourse / syscourse because we really dislike and see very little benefit in debate. That said, we love to discuss experiences, thoughts, feelings and perspectives on complex topics and as long as the intent is to discuss and share rather than to "win" or "prove", we really enjoy that sort of enrichment in our life so we do welcome it. That said, we withhold the right to deem any conversation as more debate than discussion and to abandon it.
Additionally, related to the fifth point, we believe in being fully transparent about our past and admission that we were wrong as we think it is very important to be able to re-evaluate your beliefs and opinions and grow. In our mid teens we actually were pretty far into the alt-right pipeline and until about a year or so ago, we were staunch anti-endos. These days we are basically commies and very pro-endo. If anyone has any interest on how we pivoted so hard in our opinions on those topics, we are more than open to talk and discuss it as well as any insights we pulled from the experience.
Also we love martial arts - I forgot that cause I'm not particularly XIV brained rn but we REALLY enjoy martial arts.
We suck at being labeled and having labels. We're just very very queer.
--------------
DNI:
People who put on their socks/shoes in the order of Sock-Shoe-Sock-Shoe
That's about it. We liberally block, so we don't really worry about DNIs. If we don't like your content for any reason, we will remove it from our dash. Whether or not you want to interact with us is up to you past that point. Generally, we welcome anyone to follow as it can make for good conversation.

The Benefits of Narrative Jazz
CAUTION: I am not a jazz musician, I have no real skill in music, and I am generally always talking out of my ass on this blog. Great, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I will now attempt to use jazz as a metaphor for storytelling.
I love TTRPGs, watch my fair share of actual-plays, and have a handful of hypothetical game systems rattling around in my head that I’ll definitely get around to at some point. However, I was a latecomer to the art form. Unlike many of my friends, I didn’t play DnD until my senior year of high school. I originally only got into it because my little brother was getting into it, and I wanted to be supportive.
Because of this, I have a clear moment in my life where my creative writing work was irrevocably contaminated by my ongoing love affair with random tables and collaborative storytelling. Comparing my mindset before and after that point, the best thing I can compare it to is the difference between classical composing and performing a jazz piece.
When I was younger, I had far more experience with building LEGOs and drawing maps as creative outlets, and I took a similar structural approach to my writing. My work was focused on putting pieces in the right place, making sure everything fit, and killing any narrative dissonance I found with extreme prejudice. In my mind, there was a thing called The Story, and The Story was essentially a window into a realistic, internally consistent alternate World that I constructed myself. It’s the mindset of a guy who obsessively read Wookipedia all throughout middle school to make sure that his homemade Star Wars faction was exactly as cool as the canon allowed.
Imagine my surprise, then, when I started running games of DnD in my speech and debate class (why weren’t we doing, you know, speech and debate? What are you, a narc?) and I discovered the joys of riffing. I approached each session with my meticulously crafted notes, and my grimdark villains, and my Map, and despite my best efforts my players transformed the game into Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Luckily, I am only sometimes an utter killjoy, so I found myself really enjoying the game despite the fact that it wasn’t a perfect Story in a perfect World.
Today, I mostly play rather than DM, but I’ve definitely DM’d more games than I have played in em. I also write professionally and personally. As it turns out, the skills that make for good improvisational, collaborative storytelling are just as useful when sitting down and writing a screenplay or narrative.
This is where the jazz comparison comes in. In jazz, a performance typically begins with the bassist playing a pedal point, a single note that the rest of the band builds the song around. There’s also usually a basic melody that they riff off of for their solos. Oftentimes, the performers only have a vague idea of what they will improvise during their solos. Sometimes, the best of the best would completely wing it. But of course, they have that foundation they’re building off of. And even the wildest performers are tethered to that pedal point.
For writers, the pedal point is the thing that makes the story worth writing. I’m aiming abstract here, because it could be a lot of things. A theme they find compelling, a neat character, a specific emotion, whatever. It can even be practical like “I need to write a story that I can use to pay the bills.” No judgement here, we’ve all done it.
The melody is essentially the story’s starting premise. This is the “idea” in its most basic, barebones form. A chord progression and time signature become setting, premise, etc.
It’s the riffing that makes things interesting. None of the players in a jazz band are going to know what the final song will sound like. That means they have to adjust on the fly. They have to connect with what the other players are doing. If inspiration strikes, they use the fundamentals as the tether that prevents them from going too far from the basic premise. When you record a jazz performance, you do slightly kill this magic, right? But here’s the thing: if no one recorded jazz, we’d all have a lot less jazz in our day to day lives.
Every story that exists today is essentially an example of this process. No story remains unchanged. For a younger me, that was a challenging thing to accept. I clung to every idea I had. Every new idea had to fit into my existing framework. It was, essentially, creative constipation. I was writing orchestral pieces where instead of getting rid of my older, amateur work, I was layering more parts over it.
The irony of treating every part of a story as sacred is, after a certain point, you might have a hard time remembering what the original idea that propelled you was. At that point, you’re kinda screwed.
I have found that in my own work, the method that I try to use for everything I do is this:
Follow your story’s guiding light with religious fervor. If you find yourself losing sight of it, your story is in jeopardy. if you have an idea that doesn’t fit the guiding light, consider an alternative home for that story. Alternatively, if you find that you need to change your pedal point out of necessity, recognize that you’re gonna have to retool everything built on it to avoid dissonance.
Be open to inspiration when it strikes, even if it means changing the planned meat and bones of your story quite a bit. If your guiding light is strengthened by the new idea, you will be glad you did it.
In situations where you are releasing episodic content (comics, fanfiction, ttrpg campaign, tv shows, whatever) and retooling past work is not ideal, aim for lean, mean storytelling. Don’t establish things “just because;” it can close you off to better ideas down the line, when it really matters. Don’t write the beginning as though you have a finished story already. Focus on your basic melody, then elaborate as needed.
Writing is output, and existence is input. The latter is the fuel that drives the former. You won’t have a new, better idea if you haven’t experienced anything new. Read something, go for a walk, whatever. Greedily swallow novel concepts and sensations, see what that does to your story. Watch how other people riff on similar melodies, get inspired. A closed system is a system that will put nothing out. If this advice happens to be life affirming, it’s purely tangential to my monomaniacal desire to write stories and shit.
You don’t have to be improvising stories on the spot for a live audience to find these things useful. It is fundamentally a matter of mindset, allowing you to build more effective stories at a high speed. Also, my general need for structure is still totally a thing, don’t get it twisted. I just have a more well-rounded tool kit. But I’ll still make a good fuckin map. With rivers and shit.

I've been thinking about this a lot and have ranted to a friend to varying degrees about it every once in a while since early this year.
On one hand, I don't want to sound ungrateful when I talk about this, but...
I feel like being in a fandom has ruined me.
Or to put it better, I've let it ruin me.
And to clarify, I don't blame individuals of a fandom.
Nor do I really blame the idea of fandom itself the more I think about it.
It is most definitely a me thing, but being in a fandon has definitely helped to shed some light on some upsetting things about my brain.
Being in an environment where you get to share ideas and art about your favorite media- Something that's supposed to be for fun and to find community with others who share your interest!
For me, it's been a huge motivator for getting back into my art- which I believe I've mentioned before.
Up until the twomp Fandom, I've had lots of difficulties staying inspired and motivated to keep doing art regardless of how much I wanted to do it.
So finding a reason to do it again has been great!
I've been able to make pretty good improvements in my art abilities which is really nice!
But on the other end of things, I've lost the ability to just appreciate things the way I could if I was just an outsider looking in?
And I hate it because for whatever reason, my anxiety looks at fandom art as competition rather than something a fellow [insert interest] enjoyer put out for me to enjoy along with the rest of fandom.
I hate that mindset so much.
I don't want fandom to be a competition.
I don't think fandom should be a competition.
Inspiration to improve is one thing, but there's something very wrong if you're feeling a sense of threat in some way??? Like hello??? Are you okay???
It's ridiculous!
But anxiety likes to tell me I need to constantly be creating and making sure it's "original" or "unique" or else my value as a "creator" is worth nothing.
Which, again, is also ridiculous, because I'm not out here trying to "become something", I just want to have fun sharing my dumbass AUs and headcannons cause I want to have fun with the characters and the world I fell in love with!
But it doesn't stop the rancid pattern of thinking.
No matter how many breaks I take, I can come back feeling refreshed but the grasping hands of anxiety and shaky self worth tell me I need to constantly be working to maintain a semblance of value.
I need to work to "keep my place".
And that's dumb.
A fandom is a little neighborhood where everyone has their own little house and their own little garden tucked safely behind their own little white picket fence.
We're not being lined up and graded like slabs of beef.
I'm so tired man. I just want to have fun, but as time goes on I feel like the only solution to this issue is to leave the Fandom environment entirely.
Like No Face from Spirited Away.
But if I lose the "pressure" of needing to create art than I'm scared i'll fall back into not being able to create at all again.
I dont want to lose what I feel like I only just got back.
🫠
It feels super embarrassing to be struggling with these kinds of thoughts personally.
Cause it's like, "bro, who tf you think you are???"
There's so much of it that feels self centered, like it's all about me.
I need to be the best, I need to have coolest art and the best ideas!!!
I don't think that at all, granted. But it feels that way sometimes.
I don't like the idea of comparing myself to others. I don't think anyone should be doing that.
Comparison is the joy killer!!!
I much prefer the variety that a fandom brings to the table.
Each individual with an individual take on a world and its characters.
Everyone is so creative it's really Cool!!
I think it's fun to read and to see people bring that to life!
But I can't fully enjoy it like I want to cause the thoughts always be like,
"Why can't you be like that, huh?
You could be doing something with your time right now, you could be working in that idea you were thinking of.
You could be finishing that drawing you started.
What about that other thing you said you were going to do, huh?"
And if I get working on something, it's still not good enough,
"No! Not like that! Your art style is DISGUSTING. Throw that one away!
No No, any readers who stumble on this will never enjoy this. It's awkward and stilted.
Take it again or leave it!"
Like bro please, give a bug a break. I'm trying. 😰
