Allow me to introduce myself. Although you probably already know who I am, I don't need an introduction. If you do not know me I consider you illiterate. But my dear Watson, @johnhwatsonblogs, is forcing me to write this, so for everyone uneducated on this website:

I am Sherlock Holmes, the one and only consulting detective in the world. Famous for my keen deduction skills, superior intellect, and good looks. I might not be the friendliest, but I get the job done. Who cares about manners if you need to solve a murder? Solving the most baffling cases with my highly honed skills, catching the most devious criminals of all and bringing them to justice. I have dismantled whole criminal networks, recovered state secrets, saved countless lives and brought down the most devious criminal mastermind of all, to name a few of my achievements, if you haven’t been paying attention. I am not only London’s best independent criminal investigator, but according to my international reputation, the world’s best and only consulting detective. I have solved cases all over the world, no crime is too difficult or too far away for me.

I have also contributed to the world of science, publishing papers about my criminal investigation methods, including how to identify 243 types of tobacco ash. Or as I like to call it, the science of deduction. So if you are looking for a place to learn about deduction and science, you are visiting the correct blog. I might share my scientific knowledge with you, allowing you insight into my methods of deduction. So do try to keep up. When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth

If you think you have a mystery that is challenging and thrilling enough to occupy me, do not hesitate to send it my way. Do you require help with a baffling case or a crime no one can solve? A mystery that seems impossible? I am your detective, then. However, be warned that I only take cases that are interesting, any boring requests will be ignored. I totally spaced posting about it, but January 30th 2024 marks the 10th Anniversary of my Tumblr blog!

I joined Tumbr back in 2014, right at the peak of the Portal fandom. Crazy that it's been 10 years!

While I joined in 2014, it wasn't until 2016 that I rebranded as 24-7-testing. Shortly after that is when my blog really gained traction, so we'll celebrate that in a couple of years!

Regardless of whether you've been here from the beginning or if you followed me in the last week, thank you for being here! It's your participation and support that keeps the Portal Fandom active. Thanks for making sure we're all Still Alive™!

Just a quick post to say that I’m sorry abt lack of actual agere fics and such as of recent, I’ve been a bit iffy abt posting stuff incase those meanies get to my account more than they already have. Plus I’ve got my exams starting, my first one being next week, so I’m busy prepping for those alongside a bunch of other stresses that aren’t as easy to cope with. My requests are currently closed and will most likely remain that way for a little until the heavy stress of these exams are over and/or I’ve written all requests in my inbox as of right now! First of all, I wanna say that I absolutely love your art! Scrolling throw your blog feels like walking through a newly opened candy store, that has only your favourite flavour of candies. I hope more costumers will come soon, cuz how is it even possible that you're so underrated!

I assume you studied graphic design! or are you maybe self taught?

Anyway welcome to the Portal fandom too. Happy to know more fans! You said you started getting into it around five months ago, did you perhaps started playing it during the huge steam sale? 😃

OH HELLO and thank you so much for all the compliments, i appreciate this so much with all my heart 😭✨. Well i studied Comic book art in an Academy and from that i take lots of different roads. Now i wanna become an animator and i studied/i'm studying by myself illustration,writing, a little of graphic, 3D Modeling, editing video and, of course, animation 2D and 3D (actually i'm also hoping in learn how to make music cause i love music). Obv my youtube "IamGOODtoBE" it's also a way for making contents for improving and exercise all the things i listed before (and for nerding on videogames and discover lot of them and for talking a lot cause, i like it AHAHAH :3).

ALSO YES i buyed them 3 in that Sale period and cause lots of people put these games in the Olympus of videogames, so it couldn't be a loss in anycase. It ends up with the first one that makes me discover a total new feeling of how more than the satysfaction of winning a price, it's the satysfacion of play something and, with Portal 2, discover the game of my life and this time from the narration point of view. You know, contrast of love and hate, sadness and happynes about characters that try to surclass what they are, but in a lonely way so they all ends up failing, but continue to try, *chef kiss*. I already publish the first episode of Portal 2 and while i'm editing the others i can't help in how much i like that story.

Introductory Post!

Hello. This is my new side blog for fandom related stuff including my own fan art which I want to get back into doing. I used to have a main blog on a different account called @floatinginotterspace but I more or less abandoned it several years ago when I got very consumed by mental illness and tried and failed to resurrect it. I decided I wanted to get back into this side of tumblr after following the red dwarf tag and rekindling my excitement. I hope doing this again will cheer me up. The problem is I can’t remember my log in details for that blog so I’ve made this one instead. And maybe a fresh start is nice.

If you like Red Dwarf or any of the other things I am going to mention below please feel free to follow me and please reblog this if you are happy to so I can integrate into the fandom more. Also if you have fan art requests or want to recommend anything you’re most welcome.

A little about me:

I’m Jaye (not my actual name), neurodivergent, 24 years old, and like to use they/them/xe/xem pronouns.

I live in the UK and am a zoology student but am currently on suspension due to health issues.

My main blog is @try-and-try-and-try-again which I mainly use to vent about my health issues (oh dear). That will be the name that comes up if I message you I suppose.

I mainly made this blog for Red Dwarf content after finding to my delight that the fandom is still very active on here. I also love the works of Douglas Adams, Olaf Stapledon, P.G. Wodehouse (especially Jeeves and Wooster) and Studio Ghibli films.

Beyond fiction my main interests are palaeontology, lichen, fungi, wildlife in general and choral music (especially from the Renaissance period).
