When migrating they take turns bearing the burden of the wind so no goose becomes too tired, they mate for life and express mourning behaviours when losing children or mate, kind of way.

I want to be VERY clear that neither I nor the rest of the Inmara suggested nor wrote Other+.

We can see that most of your arguments can be applied to the very simple Other, that we prefer for ourselves. But we the fuck did not type Other+, and never would.

Anyway, living on this planet with these fucking bigoted apes really sucks sometimes.

We don’t like your points here AT ALL, but pragmatically speaking we also cannot argue with them.

All we can say is fuck it all, and please, please, please try to acknowledge the existence of those of us who seek community and respect alterhumans but cannot stomach being called alrerhuman ourselved.

It's really fucking hurtful to be foisted with a term that sucks for you and then to be left out because you can't accept it.

And your arguments are the height of assimilationist rhetoric.

Promise this is not vaguing anyone in particular, I've just seen it one too many times from various different people recently and it feels like it need sanother PSA: Can people please stop saying "otherkin/alterhuman" or "fictionkin/alterhuman" as if those things are synonymous? They're not, and to treat them as if they are defeats the entire purpose of the word alterhuman. If you mean otherkin or fictionkin, say otherkin or fictionkin. If you mean "otherkin and other nonhumans," say otherkin/nonhuman, because alterhuman isn't synonymous with nonhuman either. If you truly mean "otherkin and other alterhumans," a) you can probably just say "alterhuman" and b) your post had better be relevant to someone who isn't nonhuman. Alterhuman is a far broader word than that, and most of the identities and communities it encompasses - otherheartedness, hearthomes, furry lifestyling, daemonism, plurality, etc. - are not nonhuman-identifying.
