Do you play genshin impact or honkak a
Star rail?
I don't play Honkai, but I've just started looking into Genshin Impact's story (someone described Neuvillette's character to me and I was like. hmm. HMM.) I haven't gotten far yet -- really JUST started looking at it -- but I'm looking forward to more! :D
(I know almost nothing about these characters yet, I'm probably drawing them SUPER wrong, sorry)

at a certain point i think we need to acknowledge that art is very rarely created accidentally. if you can see a theme in a work than that theme was, more likely than not, at least somewhat intentional on behalf of the creator. you don't put a piece of yourself out into the world without thinking about what it means at least a little bit.

‘When scientists like me advocate for healthy and environmentally-friendly eating, it’s often said we’re sitting in our ivory towers promoting something financially out of reach for most people. This study shows it’s quite the opposite. These diets could be better for your bank balance as well as for your health and...the planet.’
Oxford University research has today revealed that, in countries such as the US, the UK, Australia and across Western Europe, adopting a vegan, vegetarian, or flexitarian diet could slash your food bill by up to one-third.
🌱 🌼 ✨ 🌱 🌼 ✨ 🌱 🌼 ✨
It found that in high-income countries:
Vegan diets were the most affordable and reduced food costs by up to one third.
Vegetarian diets were a close second.
Flexitarian diets with low amounts of meat and dairy reduced costs by 14%.
By contrast, pescatarian diets increased costs by up to 2%.

I'm not sure I like this weird attitude people have formed around Halloween. The way people celebrate it is like how Christian Conservatives treat Christmas, just without the religious extremism.
It's all just hyper-consumerism and a childish disdain for people who don't celebrate or aren't celebrating the "right" way. What's up with people setting up elaborately horrific decorations full of gore months in advance? And then getting mad when the scary gore-y decorations . . . actually scare people and they get asked to take them down.
People complaining because costumes aren't scary/creative enough.
People Christians getting upset at sexy nun costumes or pearl-clutching about risque Halloween costumes. And on the other side of that coin are people complaining about not being able to wear racially insensitive costumes.
In fact, costumes in general: people running out to buy a cheap, overpriced mess of polyester that they will only wear once. It's just overconsumption galore, I saw Halloween-themed decorations in August.
Why is everything about this annual event for literal children so annoying now?

I feel bad that this morning I kinda threw a fuss about leaving my car out during the hurricane. Like my grandpa's car is HUGE and is literally 20 years old. Like he's had it for 2 decades and never really uses it anymore and is going with my grandma for his appts all the time now anyway. But she said he probably wouldn't move his car and then after a while of me being kinda upset she said she'd move HER car which....I mean tbf hers is a lease so idk what would happen if a tree fell on it or something...but I OWN mine and pay monthly to keep it and I do NOT have another 6,000 to put down for a car so if I lose that one I'm kinda SOL 😭 I Don't know if the hurricane will hit us that bad anyway but if something HAPPENS TO MY CAR . 😭😭😭

hi what do you think abt t4t kakayama (it's canon to me tbh)
:) hi ty for the question. i will do two sweet pictures of them being intimate and then under the cut there's going to be a longer very unsweet and more technical response
Tumblr media Tumblr media
so i'm usually not a very shippy person! but that said i am also on the record as an occasional kakayama + kakayamagai enjoyer
i do hc them both as trans and in different ways w/ different experiences of transition and identity! i have no interest in proving my view as canon, but i do regard my reading of the text (text here including the anime) as a valid interpretation of yamato's experience of identity
yamato, for example, imo, doesnt have any real lived experience of being raised as a child of any gender. he was an experimental subject, and then he was Danzō's weapon/vessel for the mokuton, and then he was in anbu.
in a fun little word game which should not be taken seriously: it'd almost be more fitting to describe him as "adgender" rather than "transgender" since the prefix "trans" implies moving across where the prefix "cis" means to stand still, but the prefix "ad" means "to move towards" and i headcanon him as somebody who was degendered as a child, not in a cool nonbinary way, but instead in a dehumanizing, objectifying way, so his experience of creating his identity and his gender along with it is one of moving toward the concept of gender this word doesn't and wont exist, but bc of the way english works it would probably be simplified to be spelled precisely the same as "agender" in the same way that "aggression" came from latin "aggredi" which came from "ad" (meaning to/toward) and and latin "gradus" (meaning step) (essentially the combination means "to step to" [in a threatening manner]) the only diferences is where agender (meaning no gender) is pronounced ay-gender, the agender that comes from adgender would be prounounced more like "uhgender" in the same way that agressive isnt pronounced like "ay-gressive" but instead like "uhgressive"
and then...as for kakashi? i just decided on vibes. i didn't think hard about it.
i guess i should also say that, while i draw kakayama very infrequently, when i do draw it i usually try to be very apparent about the transness in the artwork if i can? especially if i'm drawing anything more intimate than a peck on the cheek. it's no secret that shipping is often times the most energized part of fandom, and i kind of don't want to produce romantic or sexual artwork which will be enjoyed by people who don't think trans people can be attractive? or who find that trans headcanons make a character uninteresting to them? or worse, "ruin" a depiction of a character to them?
often i think about in terms of. IF there are people that follow me that love my work (usually) and think that kakashi or yamato are hot (usually) and love kakayama (usually) but get frustrated or even uncomfortable out when i draw them as explicitly trans? then i'm drawing all intimate artwork of them as explicitly trans.
it's a little like...nobody gets to love my work if transgender characters are a turnoff for them. that's the bar for entry, is the way i think of it, but really its more like putting onions in a dish. if you want to eat the dish you have to eat the onions. if you don't want to eat the onions, don't eat the dish. all the meals i make contain onions. i'll never compromise on my intention to put onions in every dish i make. that's my ninja way, as the kids say.
especially in the climate we're in right now.
i don't know. i have a lot of feelings about how most fandoms tend to view trans men, especially in terms of romantic and sexual relationships. I'm doing a bad job of expressing the depth of how much seeing how fandom treats trans male identity and transmasculine bodies impacts the way that i draw + write kakayama, but genuinely it's something i think about every single time i create content about them.

The hardest part about living on your own is food.
Don’t get me wrong I love cooking but damn, it’s been a hot second since I’ve been back at my parents and just- not needing to think about what to cook, what you have in the fridge, groceries, the actual prepping and cleaning before and after… hoooweee…

Originally i wasn't gonna post this, n was just gonna keep it to myself but it's insane to me how much fandoms or just people in general cannot seem to fathom anything outside of what they know. They've placed themselves into a box of what they know, what makes them comfortable and what's understandable to them. Anything past that is met with hatred and dislike for xyz. You can't have a morally grey character [ESP FEMALE.] Without accusations of abuse of any of fucking being terrorist [Looks at what people say about Mia Winters.] Fiction is not supposed to always be made for YOU. It's made for anyone, they're not nor SHOULDN'T be limited to yourself. This idea that things cannot be bad or gruesome without backlash destroys so much of what sm media is built on... If a ship between 2 characters can be seen as horrible and disgusting when theres no actual evidence of it being that way yet theres still a push when in all actuality you are allowed to write shitty relationships, its okay to write about the relationships that arent squeaky clean!!!! This idea that if you ship it, it immediately means you support it, has gone so far, when i talk about 4525 [David x Simon] or hell Woods x Hackett. Its not to bring this idea that i want real relationships to fucking be like this, its just an interesting viewing of 2 people trying to make something work. They're fictional characters. They are not real. They're little dolls you play around with, to push n do whatever with. A limit of which is okay and isn't should be there, but we've crossed it so much that, the line isn't even there anymore. Like any difficult subject you handle it with care but it doesn't automatically mean you cant ever talk about it or want to talk about it! Just like how real life is not pure, not all media will be pure and that's FINE. You should talk about villainous characters and their complexity and not be harassed for just liking them. <3333

I am not immune to the same fallacies and failures of judgement my fellow men are subject to. I am superior to them because I am More right than they are though
#this is about how I let age gaps be much bigger if it's a woman who's older#it's wrong but then again#she's so hot and charismatic you could imagine being in love with her for a life time easily. what is age to love?#so when the woman is older I think the show is about being in love with an older woman but when the man is older not so#then I think the show is about crushing on young women#see.#plus#when the dude is older I'm always like 😑 this is ur nasti sexism again. you think women are subhuman and you like young ones.#some of this is biased by the perspective of my consumption#but some of it is the filming!!#movies about attractive older women have the camera lovingly capture all the minutiae of her movements habits and expression#like you fall in love with the way she speaks; turns her head; blinks#you see her fragility with her strength; her weariness with her grace#when the dude is older the camera does not usually focus on him shifting his hair or raising one corner of is mouth#it's still doing that with the female lead#so I guess I perceive older female love interest stories as being about loving someone older#and older male interest stories as being about loving someone younger#and it is so much harder to convince me of the second#not impossible as long as the youngest person is not too young. and the age of the youngest person is proportionate to the gap#(meaning of the younger is 25 I'm going to want a smaller gap than if the younger person is 50.)#but also I know 20 year olds and. those are not children but#they are not capable of participating equitably in a relationship with an adult 8 years older than them.#let alone 15 😬

Simple Tips
Store fruit and veggies whole. This will allow them to keep longer, as their surface degrades faster when it has been cut and exposed to air – makes sense, right?
Handle your fruit and veggies gently, as bruises and cuts will lead to rotting which can also spread to other veggies stored nearby.
10 Rapidfire Veggie Storage Tips
#1 Leafy Greens
Lettuce, spinach, rocket, kale and chard can be stored in a sealed container or reusable produce bag in the fridge after being washed and spun to promote hydration.
#2 Tomatoes, Chilli & Capsicums
Fresh tomatoes, chillies and capsicums should be stored on the bench at room temperature until ripe. To preserve for longer, just pop them in the fridge.
#3 Garlic, Onions & Potatoes
Store in a cool dark place and they will keep well for up to a few months. Hint: don’t store potatoes with onions and garlic, as they release gases that may quicken decay.
#4 Pumpkins or Squash
Whole pumpkins can be stored for months in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Sliced pumpkin should be stored in the fridge with the seeds removed, as these decay faster than the flesh.
#5 Cucumbers, Zucchini, Eggplant & Fennel
These immature fruits have thin skin that is sensitive to bruising and cuts, so handle carefully. Store them dry in the fridge in an unsealed reusable bag to allow for airflow.
#6 Carrots, Celeriac & Parsnip
Storing them in a reusable bag in the fridge with their tops removed will allow them to last for over a week (or longer).
#7 Beetroot, Turnips & Radish
Remove the leaves as soon as you get home to preserve the moisture within the roots (keep the leaves for compost or to feed your chickens or worm farm). Store the roots in a reusable produce bag in the fridge.
#8 Cabbages, Broccoli & Cauliflower
As broccoli and cauliflower are the unopened flower buds of a plant, they are best consumed within 3 to 4 days, before they begin to open and turn yellow. Store them in a crisper in the fridge in a reusable bag. Cabbages, however, will last for weeks.
#9 Celery & Soft Herbs
Celery and soft herbs such as parsley, chives and basil can be stored in a jar of water on the kitchen bench at moderate room temperature. Otherwise, in hotter months they can be washed and wrapped in a damp tea towel in the fridge.
#10 Dry Herbs
Dry herbs such as rosemary, thyme and oregano can be stored on the kitchen bench. The flavour becomes more potent as the herb dries, allowing them to keep for a long time. Once fully dry, seal in a container to sprinkle over your food later.

I swear Charlotte will be twelve and her parents will still insist on dressing her like a four-year-old. This was the same issue with her Easter outfit as well, she's just wearing these oversized baby gowns. If you look at Trotter's Instagram, their main target is toddlers and babies, not older children.
And I hate it because people apply these shitty gender expectations on Charlotte based on how she's dressed. She's not allowed to wear shorts or shorter dresses without strangers on the internet saying it's "inappropriate". I feel like dressing her that way is often a way of appealing to those people and their regressive standards, I don't know, it irks me.
Ellie Hall wrote about what I'm trying to say HERE. A lot of it is the children being forced into their royal roles, at an early age they are forced to value traditionalism and a whole slew of regressive values associated with the monarchy.
