Laughter echoed through the empty corridor – a welcome reprieve from the usual bustle of Hogwarts life. We were on a glorious post-lunch break, a rare moment where none of us had classes.
Draco, ever the stoic one, smirked from the corner, a hint of amusement flickering in his grey eyes. Blaise, reclining against the wall along with mattheo and Enzo .
“So, what’s got you all so chipper today?” I asked, leaning against the wall opposite them, my eyes twinkling with mischief.
“Oh, just the usual,” Mattheo replied with a grin, his eyes scanning me up and down. “Though your presence certainly brightens things up.”
I laughed, a playful glint in my eye. “Is that so, Mattheo? I’m flattered.”
“Flattered, are you?” Enzo chimed in, his smile broadening. “Just wait till you hear what Draco’s been saying about you.”
Draco rolled his eyes but couldn’t suppress the small smile playing at his lips. “Don’t drag me into this, Enzo.”
I arched an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. “Oh? And what exactly has Draco been saying?”
Draco finally looked directly at me, his smirk deepening. “Nothing that wouldn’t make you blush, I’m sure.”
Suddenly, the air shimmered and Theo materialized beside me, a frown etched on his handsome face. My laughter died in my throat, replaced by a nervous flutter in my stomach.
Don't get me wrong, Theo was so attractive. Tall, dark, and mysterious, he exuded an aura that drew you in like a moth to a flame. That’s why I always act that awkward whenever he show up.
"Hey, Y/L/N," Theo greeted me, his voice a low rumble. "Having fun?"
But before I could respond, a mischievous glint sparked in Blaise's eyes. "Having fun? She's practically rolling on the floor here! Just look at her," he nudged me with his elbow, "completely smitten with my hilarious story."
My cheeks burned. "Oh, shut up, Zabini," I swatted him playfully. "It was Enzo's joke that was funny, not yours."
Enzo chuckled. "Thanks, Y/N."
We all fell into a comfortable banter again, the conversation flowing like a well-worn path. But with every witty remark aimed at me, every playful touch from Blaise or Enzo, I found myself subtly shifting away from Theo. It wasn't intentional, not really. Maybe a subconscious defense mechanism, a way to keep myself safe from the intensity I sensed in him.
Finally, unable to handle the mounting tension any longer, I blurted, "Oh, well, this has been lovely, but I actually have to…" My voice trailed off, searching for a believable excuse.
"Potions homework?" Blaise offered with a raised eyebrow.
"Uh, yeah, yes," I stammered, "Look at the time! I completely forgot, I have to—"
"Go?" Mattheo finished my sentence with a playful grin, his eyes flickering between me and Theo. "That seems to be your usual line whenever Nott graces us with his presence."
A collective laugh went up from the others, but a blush crept up my cheeks. Was it that obvious?
"See, Theo? That's just how Y/N is. Always gotta disappear when you show up."
Behind me, I could hear the eruption of laughter. Draco's voice rang out, “See ? Always leaving when you appear Nott, gets the charm offensive."
I winced, a mixture of guilt washing over me, I grabbed my bag and walked away.
As I walked to the class the next day my stomach lurched, I scanned the room. Every single seat was taken except for one – the one directly next to Theo. A wave of annoyance washed over me. Why did I have to be the one stuck beside him after yesterday's awkward retreat?
With a resigned sigh, I marched towards the empty chair, determined to keep our interaction to a minimum. Just as I sat down, the classroom door slammed open, and Professor Snape strode in with his usual scowl.
"Settle down!" his baritone voice boomed. "Since we're already behind, we'll be starting immediately. Take out your textbooks and quills, we're brewing Veritaserum today."
My shoulders slumped. Of course, today would be the day Snape insisted on absolute honesty. Great.
I grabbed my textbook with a muttered curse, desperately trying to ignore the heat radiating from beside me. Theo. He was practically close enough to see the worried frown etched on my forehead.
"Rough day, Y/N?" he murmured, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down my spine despite myself.
I kept my eyes glued to my textbook, pretending to be engrossed in the complicated brewing instructions. "Just fine," I mumbled, my voice a touch too high-pitched.
A soft chuckle escaped his lips. "Do I make you nervous, Y/N?" he teased, his voice laced with amusement.
My cheeks burned. Did he have to be so perceptive? "No," I lied unconvincingly, still refusing to meet his gaze.
"Then why the avoidance act?" he pressed.
My cheeks felt like they were on fire. I couldn't take it anymore. Taking a deep breath, I finally looked at him, ready to fire back with a witty retort.
But as our eyes met, something unexpected happened. All the bravado I had practiced in my head evaporated. His gaze held a depth I hadn't noticed before, a hint of something… more.
The stern voice of Professor Snape cut through the sudden tension. "Miss Y/N, Mr. Nott! Pay attention or face detention."
Flustered, I tore my gaze away from Theo.
The moment Professor Snape dismissed the class, I bolted. My cheeks still burned from Theo's teasing, his words replaying in my head like a broken record. "Do I make you nervous?" Ugh, the audacity!
Heart hammering a frantic rhythm against my ribs, I weaved through the throng of students, desperate to escape the classroom and the lingering scent of Theo's cologne.
As I rounded a corner, I slammed right into someone, the impact knocking the breath out of me. I stumbled back, muttering an apology.
"Easy there, love. Running from someone?"
My cheeks burned like someone had set them on fire with a dragon's breath. "No, no, of course not," I stammered, my voice tripping over itself. "Just... eager to get to my next class."
Mattheo raised an eyebrow, amusement dancing in his grey eyes. "Really? Because you look like you just escaped a dragon attack in those robes."
"I-I really have to go," I mumbled again, yanking my arm free from Matteo's grasp.
Before he could say another word, I bolted. I sprinted down the hallway, robes billowing behind me, desperate to put as much distance as possible between me, Theo.
The thoughts I harbored about Theo, well, they were borderline scandalous – even for the often-unconventional wizarding world. Wet dreams were a daily torment, a vivid tapestry woven with stolen glances and the memory of his low chuckle. Even the most mundane tasks became infused with Theo. Daydreams, unwelcome and potent, hijacked my mind, filling it with images of his strong arms wrapped around me, the feel of his warm skin against mine, and those lips... oh Merlin, his lips. The very thought of them sent a jolt through me, leaving me breathless and yearning.
It was a full-blown obsession. Every interaction, every stolen glance, was a spark that ignited a wildfire within me. I envisioned stolen touches, whispered secrets, a clandestine world where it was just us. These "visions," as I'd begun calling them, were both exhilarating and terrifying. Had I lost my mind?
Looking at him was like staring into the sun – an act both beautiful and blinding. I craved his attention, yet recoiled from it in equal measure, afraid of what it might reveal – both about him and the depth of my own desires.
The moment I reached the solitude of my dorm room, I threw myself onto my bed, burying my face in the soft pillow. It was just me and the storm raging within. Seeking a semblance of control, I reached for my most trusted companion – my sketchbook. Flipping to a blank page, I did what had become a nightly ritual: I drew Theo.
His face materialized on the page with practiced ease – the sharp angles of his jaw, the way his eyebrows quirked slightly when he was amused, the intensity of his gaze that seemed to pierce right through me. Each stroke was infused with a longing so deep it ached. As I added the final details, a desperate thought crossed my mind – what if, somehow, magically, drawing him like this would bring him closer? A ridiculous notion, even for a witch like me. But a girl can dream, right?
The drawing complete, I flipped back through the pages, revisiting the countless iterations of Theo that filled my sketchbook. Each one a silent testament to my growing obsession. A pang of guilt stabbed at me as I traced the outline of his lips in one particular sketch. Here I was, feeling like I'd committed a sin, when in reality, our interactions hadn't even reached the stage of a stolen touch.
A frustrated groan escaped my lips. This was madness. Yet, as I drifted off to sleep that night, the sketchbook remained tucked under my pillow, a silent guardian of my unrequited affection.
The next day, the weight of my secret world pressed down on me like a lead blanket.
My usual bubbly demeanor was replaced by a forced smile and a dull ache in my chest. The boys exchanged worried glances, their questions a constant reminder of the truth I couldn't share.
Mumbling an unconvincing excuse about feeling unwell, I escaped the classroom the moment the bell rang, desperate for some fresh air and a moment of solitude.
Once I was finally away from everyone I grabbed my bag, then it happened, panic clawed at my throat as I realized my sketchbook was missing.
I scoured my bag again, desperately searching every compartment, but it was nowhere to be found. My heart hammered a frantic rhythm against my ribs. I carried that sketchbook everywhere, afraid of someone stumbling upon my secret world.
Fear morphed into a cold dread as I retraced my steps, hoping it had simply fallen out of my bag somewhere.
The thought of someone, anyone, seeing my drawings, especially Theo… the very notion sent a fresh wave of terror coursing through me.
I retraced my steps, combing through the classroom once more, a desperate hope clinging to the edges of my despair. But it was futile. The sketchbook was nowhere to be found. My mind raced, picturing prying eyes and whispered secrets. This was a disaster.
Just then, a familiar voice cut through the rising tide of panic. "Searching for something, Y/L/N?"
I spun around so fast I nearly toppled over, my eyes widening as they landed on Theo. A self-assured smirk played on his lips, and in his hand, he dangled my precious sketchbook.
"Theo!" I gasped, the sound strangled and desperate. My cheeks burned with a mixture of mortification and a strange, exhilarating thrill.
Instead of listening to my frantic plea, he held the sketchbook just out of reach, the amusement in his eyes deepening. "Such beautiful secrets you keep hidden, Love."
The blood drained from my face. "Give it back to me, Theodore," I demanded, my voice surprisingly steady despite the tremor in my hands.
He chuckled, a low, beautiful sound that sent shivers down my spine. "Not so fast, love. Perhaps there's something in here that warrants a little… negotiation."
Frustration bubbled up inside me. I lunged for the sketchbook, my fingers brushing against his hand. But he easily outmatched me, holding it high above my head. The height difference was agonizing.
"Give it back!" I hissed, my voice laced with desperation.
A slow smile spread across his face, his eyes gleaming with something I couldn't decipher. Then, before I could react, his other hand shot out, landing firmly on my waist.
A gasp escaped my lips as a jolt of electricity shot through me at his touch. He used the momentum to pull me closer, turning us around so that my back slammed against the cool surface of the empty classroom door my eyes widened when he locked it. My breath hitched in my throat as his warm body pressed against mine.
His face was inches from mine, his breath tickling my ear. "Now," he murmured, his voice a husky rumble that sent a delicious shiver down my spine, "Care to explain what is it about?”
"No "I say "Just give it back!"
Instead of replying, he pulled away, placing the sketchbook on a nearby table with a soft thud. I made a move to grab it, but he was faster. With a single, smooth motion, he used one hand to capture both of mine, pinning them above my head against the cold, unforgiving surface of the door.
His touch sent a jolt through me, a current that both terrified and excited me. His gaze was intense, boring into mine, and suddenly his earlier amusement was replaced by something else entirely.
"So," he said, his voice a low growl that sent shivers down my spine.
"you just decided to ignore my entire existence? The social butterfly with all her friends, suddenly giving me the cold shoulder or vanishing into thin air whenever I'm around. Then I find out you've been drawing me… like a hundred times? Which by the way I'm not complaining about but— ," he added, "but seriously, Y/N, what have I done that you can't bear to stay in the same room with me for a minute?"
His words hit me like a physical blow. Shame burned through me, hot and fierce. "I'm sorry," I whispered, my voice barely a choked sob, my eyes desperately seeking the floor.
"Look at me, love," he commanded, a gentle firmness in his voice.
Slowly, I lifted my gaze to meet his. His face was unreadable, a mixture of concern and something else – something that made my heart skip a beat.
"Good girl," he murmured, a slight smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Now, say it. What have I done to make you hate me that much?"
"It's the opposite," I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper. The words tumbled out before I could stop them, fueled by a desperate need for him to understand. "I like you, Theo. A lot. Those feelings… they're so intense, so confusing, and I just don't know how to act around you. I see you and I freak out. I can't breathe, my heart races and then those unholy thoes…" My voice cracked, and tears welled up in my eyes.
He leaned closer, his hand brushing a stray tear from my cheek. "Breathe, my love," he whispered, his voice gentle, his touch sending sparks dancing across my skin. "Breathe."
I did, taking a shaky breath, closing my eyes as his face came closer. His touch was everywhere – on my cheek, my neck, his warm breath against my lips. "Are you mad?" I whispered, barely audible.
A soft chuckle rumbled in his chest. "Quite the opposite," he murmured, his lips brushing mine with a feather-light touch. Then, in one swift movement, he closed the distance between us, his lips meeting mine in a kiss that was both electrifying and grounding.
His hands gripped my hips, lifting me off the floor effortlessly. I gasped as I looked into his eyes, seeing the raw desire burning within them. "You smell so good," he murmured, his lips finding my neck. His stubble tickled my sensitive skin, sending shivers down my spine.
"You know those thoughts you talked about," he continued, placing soft kisses along my jawline. "I have similar thoughts too."
I moaned as he sucked on my earlobe, my head falling back to give him more access. His lips moved down to my neck, his tongue tracing a path along my collarbone.
His hands tightened on my hips, and I could feel his erection pressing against me. I couldn't help but grind against him, feeling his length rub against my clit through our clothes.
"I want to leave marks on your skin, so everyone knows you're mine," Theo growled, his lips moving down to my neck. His tongue traced a path along my collarbone, and I shivered with delight.
"Yours?" I breathed, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Yes, baby. Mine. And those fuckers need to know this," he said, I couldn't help but smile. I knew they had been teasing him for how I had been ignoring him.
His lips traced a path along my collarbone, his tongue leaving a trail of fire in its wake. I shivered with delight as his hand gripped my hair, pulling me to him he looked at my eyes for a second then kissed me. His lips were soft and eager, and I couldn't help but respond.
He turned me around his head on my shoulder "Tell me your deepest fantasy. I'll make it a reality for you,"
His hands went inside my skirt, and I felt his fingers on my thighs. "Can I touch you?" He asked, his voice barely above a whisper. I nodded, my breath hitching in my throat.
“ oh Merlin “ I say my whole body shaking his finger rubbing circles on my clit fast then slow making me losing my mind
“ not Merlin baby me say my name, do i make you feel good ? “ he say in my ear
“ yes Theo oh yes you do “ I say my body still shaking .
"Do you want me to be rough with you, or gentle?" He asked, his finger sliding inside me. I gasped, holding onto his arms for support.
"No one has touched you like this before, baby?" He asked. I shook my head, unable to trust myself to respond without screaming.
"Good, and no one else will," He said, his fingers moving inside me. I felt myself getting closer to the edge, my whole body tensing up.
"I love how you arch your back when I do this. You're so responsive," He said, his fingers moving faster inside me. I screamed, my whole body shaking with pleasure.
He put his hand over my mouth, muffling my cries "Shhh” He said, his voice soothing.
I felt it happening. My whole body shook, and if not for his strong arm around me, I would have fallen. I screamed with his hand still on my mouth. I came for the first time in my life, and oh lord, it felt like heaven.
"You did so good for me, baby. So good."
Put his fingers in his mouth, savoring my taste. "I love the way you taste, the way you smell. You're like a drug to me,".
He picked me up, setting me on the desk. pushed the books and papers aside, his eyes never leaving mine. Then he pulled me to the edge of the desk, his hands on my thighs.
"Is this like your fantasies?".
"No," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. "It’s much better."
His lips were on my inner thighs in an instant, his tongue tracing a path up to my panties. He pulled them down, his fingers grazing my skin. My breath came in short gasps.
"Do you want me to use my fingers or my tongue? Or maybe both?"
His tongue found my clit, and I moaned as he licked and sucked, his fingers exploring my wet folds. I grabbed onto the edge of the desk, my legs shaking.
Theo pulled back, his eyes meeting mine. He reached for a pen on the desk, pulling it towards him. wrote "mine" on my inner thigh, his eyes locked on mine.
His fingers slid back inside me. I moaned again, my hips bucking against his hand.
His tongue found my clit once again , and I moaned louder this time. He sucked and licked, his fingers moving inside me in a steady rhythm. I could feel my orgasm building for the second time.
"Oh, Theo," I moaned, my hips bucking against his hand.
He moved his fingers faster, his tongue lashing against my clit. I cried out as my orgasm crashed over me again.
He pulled away, making his way up to kiss me. I was shaking in his arms, but he wrapped them around me, making me feel safe and comfortable.
As I trembled in his arms, He held me close, his embrace warm and comforting. He gently brushed my hair away from my face, kissing my forehead tenderly.
"You're so beautiful," he whispered, his voice full of admiration and love.
I rested my head on his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. The intensity of the moment began to fade, replaced by a soft, soothing calm. Theo's hands traced gentle circles on my back, his touch reassuring and tender.
"Are you okay?" he asked softly, concern evident in his eyes.
I nodded, feeling a smile tug at my lips. "I'm more than okay. Thank you."
He smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
“Theo, I need to tell you something,” I said, my fingers tracing the lines of his jaw.
He looked at me with those deep, caring eyes, waiting patiently.
“I love you,” I whispered. “I don’t mean to scare you with it now, but I’ve been holding it to myself for too long and I wanted you to know.”
A smile spread across his face, and he leaned in to kiss me softly, his lips curing my words. “You don’t have to anymore,” he said, his voice a soothing balm to my fears. He looked into my eyes, his expression sincere. “I love you, and I will prove it to you every single day.”
Tears welled up in my eyes, not of sadness, but of overwhelming relief and happiness. “Promise you won’t hurt me?” I asked, my voice small and vulnerable.
“Never, baby,” he said, pulling me closer. “I promise. I will never hurt you. I’ll always be here for you.”
I buried my face in his chest, letting his warmth and words envelop me, my gaze wandered to the ink on my thigh. The word "mine" stood out boldly, a possessive claim that made me giggle despite the seriousness of everything that had just happened.
Theo noticed and raised an eyebrow. "What’s so funny?" he asked, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
I pointed to the makeshift tattoo. “This. ‘Mine.’ You really went all out, didn’t you?”
He grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “You bet I did. I had to make sure those fuckers know you’re off limits from now on.”
I laughed, “Oh, I’m sure they’ll get the message loud and clear.”

this piece is based off this post, which you can find here. I had heard it as an audio at first actually and fell in love with it. it's kind of essential for this read. it's basically talking about how before their loved one guessed their favorite color was yellow, they didn't have one. after that, yellow was special! sooo cute and i though luci fit in perfectly as the speaker!!! if you were tuned yesterday for my solomon birthmarks fic, this is two out of my four ideas! i had one more in my drafts that i decided to throw in for fun
so so excited to write this. so fluffy!!!
the color of happiness
"Don't forget about your coffee, Mc." Lucifer nudged the cup towards you, acting as a gentle reminder of it's existance.
"Right, right. Just let me finish this thought." You were laser focused on the paper you were in the middle of planning. You were desperate to get all the thoughts out before you inevitable got distracted and forgot everything.
"I don't mean to dissuade you from your schoolwork, but it's getting cold." He chuckled at your half assed attempt to wave him off.
"You can just reheat it with magic." You stuck out your tongue ever so slightly as you scribbled.
"And what if I can't?" Lucifer was practically enchanted with your little mannerisms.
"You can and would. I know you. You'd find a way to make it happen for me." Despite how smug you sounded, he knew you were right. He'd jump through however many hoops as he had to for you.
There was no coming back from your words, so he went back to his own work. By the time he'd restarted, you'd stopped for a break, and were ready to bug him.
"On that note, I feel like I know so much about you, yet so little at the same time." You held the mug in one hand, the other underneath your chin as you gazed up at him.
"What prompted this?" Lucifer set down his pen despite just having gotten back to work. He'd felt like the two of you knew each other quite well. You'd been through thick and thin together, even defied death at each others side.
"Let's play twenty-one questions!" You ignored his question. Perhaps you just wanted an excuse to hear his voice.
"Alright. I can't say I've played before, but I know of it." He found himself smiling again, as he often did around you.
"It's easy! We just ask each other questions to get to know each other better."
"Which one of your brothers is your favorite?" You asked. He hadn't been expecting such a hard hitter of a question at first
"Must I answer?" He joked.
"Come on! Alright, then which do you hate the least?" You suppressed laughter.
"Do not shout this from the rooftops, but, Mammon." He already knew how'd you'd react, but he still found himself amused when you inevitably did.
"I knew it!" You celebrated, throwing your arms in the air. "Alright, your turn."
He absentmindedly messed with his gloves. "What is your favorite part of human world?" Lucifer had thought hard about that question. You seemed too enthusiastic about the entire thing, and he couldn't help but cave.
"That's an easy one! The sunrise. I would almost never wake up in time for it, but it's so beautiful." Your eyes sparkled. He made a mental note to plan a surprise trip to the human world for you. "I've actually been dying to know the answer to this next question for a while now."
"Oh? Ask away then." Lucifer was curious. There was a lot a human could want to ask the Lucifer Morningstar. You already knew his story, but there was a lot to be asked about what the Celestial Realm was like, or what having his power was like. But instead you asked him,
"What's your favorite color?"
The question hit him like a shot to the heart. He should've known you weren't interested in anything but him, for who he was. For once, he didn't know the answer a question as simple as that. He'd never really given it though. Maybe it was red? It was the color of his eyes, and the color of Diavolo. Maybe it was blue? That was the color of his sin. Maybe it was black? Everything he bought seemed to be in that color. Or, just maybe, it was that he didn't have one.
He floundered, his thoughts much more chaotic than what he let on. "Oh, wait! Let me guess!" He nodded, despite not knowing how he'd respond. You pursed your lips, deep in thought, when you burst out with what you thought was the answer.
"Yellow! It's yellow!" You placed a hand on his arm, eagerly awaiting his answer. You looked so full of joy, that somehow, made the answer seem correct to him.
"You're right." Lucifer nodded his head in confirmation.
"Knew it!" You threw your arms around him, pulling him into a side hug. After the inital shock, he hugged you back. "Yellow was already the best color, but now it's even better since it's your favorite too." The rest of your game, and break flew by.
But he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. How could he had been so blind to a color he saw everyday? After that, the color held a special meaning to him. Not only was it the color of his favorite brother, and the color of your favorite thing about the human world, it was also the color of you to him.
Yellow was never the same after that.
The runny yellow yolk of the sunny side up eggs tasted that little bit better. He wasn't upset when he saw a yellow ball of yarn roll out from Satan's room. The yellow umbrella you carried around always caught his eyes, and so did yellow devildom equivalent of roses he passed every day on his way to RAD in a way they hadn't before. He promptly bought them and presented them to you when you arrived after him. The smile you gave him and the way you buried your face in the flowers meant the world to him.
Yellow suited you.

San messaged you, saying he's not feeling well today. So after finishing your work, you hurriedly commuted to get to his dorm so you could check on him and see if he needs anything.
"Huh? Y/N, what are you doing here on a friday?" Seonghwa asks, surprised to see you standing at their front door.
"How's Sannie?" You ask
"Ahhh...." he chuckles. "He's in his room... acting like a baby." He moves yo the side, gesturing you to come in. "He already ate. Mingi cooked him a soup dish to make him feel a bit better."
"Does he have a fever?"
Seonghwa shakes his head, "He's a lot much better now. He has been deligent taking his medicines, drinking water and eating well."
You sigh a big relief. "Thank goodness..."
"He just finished showering and going back to bed to watch a movie... he is basically okay now actually.. so I'm not sure why he asked you to come?" Seonghwa says scratching his head.
"What else? San probably wants some cuddles from Y/N...and get babied even more." Mingi says as he comes out of his room. "He even asked for a hug from me yesterday when I gave him his food..." he chuckles remembering how San acts.
"Probably..." you agree.
"If you two get hungry... There is food in the fridge. I cooked something for lunch earlier... just heat it up." Mingi says as he ties his shoes. "Imma go to the studio... so..."
"Be safe... you and manager." Seonghwa says
"Bye!" You wave to Mingi.
And as soon as Mingi is out
"I'll be in my room and watch a kdrama... I'll put my speaker on... and if I do get out I'll put my headset."
You title your head to the side. "Why? What for?"
Laughing softly, "We all know how San is... when he asks for you..."
You suddenly felt your cheeks heat up from what Seonghwa just said. "Oh dear!" You cover your face.
"Don't worry... We don't judge... it's part of human nature and..."
"Does that mean... you guys could hear... oh dear!" You panic
"Yah... don't worry about it... we don't really hear it all out..  probably just once time... and we learned from it."
"Oh God!" Your cheeks and ears are totally red now.
Seonghwa pats you at the back. "Sorry... I should've not said anything..."
Shyly looking at Seonghwa. "No it's fine... if ever... hmmm... we.... well... I'll try to tell him to be more quiet... and.. me too..."
"Cute." Seonghwa pinches your cheek.
Caressing your cheek after Hwa pinches you. "I'll go and check on Sannie..." you say
"Okay... I'll go and make myself busy now." He scoffs before turning his back.
You waited for Seonghwa to totally shut his door before you march towards the opposite direction, where San's room is.
"San?" You call as you knock lightly.
No answer. It's quiet.
"Sannie...?" You twist the doorknob and slowly push it open. "Sannie??" You whisper while your head is slightly tilted to take a peek if he's there. "Hmm... maybe he's asleep..."
You slide one foot first and then the rest follows. You are very cautious, trying your very best to not make any loud noise that could wake your boyfriend.
Scanning the whole room, you see that the room looks okay, nothing to clean so far. The TV is on but with a very low volumn that you barely hear it.
'He must've forgot to turn it off or probably fell asleep without him noticing' you say to yourself as you carefully walk further more in and look for the remote to turn it off.
"What are you doing?"
You screach a bit loud the second you hear someone talk just as you turned off the TV, making the room completely dark.
"I've missed you."
It's San.
"Fuck! You scared me!" You're heart is beating out of your chest.
"I can feel it..." he sounds amused by you getting scared. "You're heart is beating so fast..." he have you in his embrace from your back. "Sorry if I scared you... I was just waiting for you to get close..." he sniffs you by the neck. "I didn't thought that you'll turn off the TV..."
"Well... me too...I didn't noticed that your mini light weren't open... now it's completely dark."
"Just turn on the TV again so we can see..." he snuggles onto you more while he wrap his arm around your torse. "You're wearing a blouse?" He asks as he let his hands feel your top.
"I came straight from work..." you say. "I was so worried about you when I read your message..."
"Sorry if I got you worried..." his slides two of his fingers between the gap of your buttoned up blouse. "Mingi and Seonghwa took care of me well... but the reason why I did texted you still is  because.. I miss you..." his fingers gently touches your breast. "I miss you so bad." He breathes in your scent from your nape
"I miss you too..." you take his other free hand and kisses his knuckle. "You're schedule have been hectic and I got bit busy too..."
"I'm free tomorrow and on sunday..." he hums, brushing his lips all over your exposed neck. "Stay with me..." he breathe the words as he turns your head towards him so he could kiss you. "Your lipgloss... taste like cherry..." you could hear him smile as he pulls away from the kiss
"Sannie... I need light... I want to see you..."
"You do?" He suddenly lets you go
"Hey!" You try to catch on and grab him as he moves away but you lost balance and fell off the bed. "Aw!!" Your knee hit the frame of the bed.
"Baby!" San panics and hurriesly switches on the soft light from the side of his bed.
You are wearing a black skirt with a slit on the side. And the expose knee hit the edge of the bed real hard.
"Does it hurt?"
"Yeah..." you are holding on to your knee. "It will be fine... though I'm sure I'll get a bruise..."
"Baby... I'm sorry." San grabs your face and kisses you on the lips and then on both cheeks.
"Hey... I hurt my knee...not my lips..." you chuckle.
A smile spreads across his lips and his cute dimple showing. "Please... stay..." Then he goes to kiss you again making you smile.
"Okay... But..." you raise your index finger and taps the tip of his nose. "No sex..."
"What? Why???" He pouts
"Well... unless we're not alone." You sit down and suddenly remember how embarassed you felt earlier. "Just... I don't want them to hear us..."
"But they already did..."
"You know?!?"
"Baby, how can they not? We are loud... what do you expect?"
"Fuck!" You fall down on his bed, face down. "No! I didn't want them to hear." You mumble over his duvet.
"Baby..."
You suddenly got up. "No... control yourself okay? No sex... until we are completely alone."
"You're saying that but your face shows you are not happy with what you're trying to implement." San burts to a laugh looking at your troubled expression
"Fuck! I miss you too and of course... I nee-- no... I wan--- no..." you are trying to breathe in and breathe out. "No... I'm here to cuddle and take care of you. We can play games and watch movies... to divert ourselve."
"Whatever you say, baby." San leans in and kisses you on the lips again. "I'll do whatever you say..." he hums those words like he's testing if you will break seconds into your pep talk.
"Don't lure me, Sannie. You already opened my blouse... yes... but no..." you smile into the kiss...
"I can try again later." He then pinches your cheek as he pulls away from the kiss. "I love you."

The Stupidity Doesn't End
Dear Future Husband,
Yesterday was an okay day and today was an okay day. No major hiccups or blowups or stupidity. Things were actually relatively okay.
But of course, that means nothing, because everything can change in a split second.
There's a Little Old Lady in our building who is moving to an old age home soon and MotherLivelyHeart decided that we should have a goodbye party for her.
The discussion of this party went from "we should invite everyone she knows to come say goodbye to her" to "we'll just keep it a building thing."
And every time discussion of this thing came up, I kept saying we should do it in the party/conference room that our building has, but MLH has some unexplained hatred for that room and always nixed the idea. She wanted "to do it in my home. I have a beautiful home for a reason."
The last discussion we had about this party earlier in the week (after she agreed to doing the mealtrain thing on Thursday and before she decided she doesn't want to do that again for quite a while), it seemed decided that we would have the party in the hallway near Little Old Lady's apartment with a tiny table set up with a little nosh and a bunch of chairs, instead of in our apartment.
When MLH bought the stuff for the mealtrain breakfast, she also grabbed a boxed cake and boxed brownies. And at some point she scrounged up a bag of popcorn. And erev Shabbos, BigSis baked the cake and brownies.
Then, on Friday, MLH pinned an event in the building whatsapp chat reminding everyone to come say goodbye to Little Old Lady and the time that she posted was 6:15pm-6:45pm or "after havdallah." And the location she posted was our apartment.
Now, time is important for a few reasons. One of which is that, recently, for some reason unbeknownst to me, we have started following a different havdallah time than we used to.
When I was growing up, we waited the longest time for havdallah because my father thought he was chassidush or something and that's what he'd been taught. But it became an issue when he wasn't davening with any chassidush minyan anymore (and hadn't since I was like 2) and we were the weirdos, having heard havdallah at our friends' houses and still unable to do anything after shabbos (like get a ride home) until the proper zman.
My parents spoke to a rabbi* about it who told them that since they had chosen this time as baalei teshuva who didn't really know anything, they could change it. But it was a one-time change and they couldn't adjust again after that, and to be sure of which time they wanted to switch to.
So when I was in high school, we all of a sudden started keeping the "one hour" that most people keep. I believe this is the opinion of The Gra...?
And so, 6:15pm this week becomes important when, out of the blue, we're not ending Shabbos at like 5:30pm if Shabbos started at 4:30pm, but instead at what I think is the offical Tzais HaKochavim time of around 5:45pm. Because by the time Shabbos is over and we've cleaned up from shelosh seudos and actually finish havdallah it's after 6:00pm, which gives us only 15 minutes to set everything up.
And right before havdallah is when MLH decides to tell us that she forgot to get small plates. Oh, and also we don't have any drinks.
This was something SHE was planning. She didn't ask for any help. In fact, ada raba! She told me point blank that she didn't want me making a big deal over this and buying or baking anything for it. "I'm just going to pick up some cookies or something." I was like "fine, this is your thing, go for it."
Well, Little Old Lady showed up at like 5 after 6pm and parked herself right between the kitchen and dining room, when we had just barely finished havdallah, and nothing was set up yet.
We now have 10 minutes to get everything ready which includes finding a folding table for the hallway, making sure we have a tablecloth for it, tracking down small disposable plates and some drinks.
Because none of this was done before Shabbos.
Then another neighbor shows up and she sits next to Little Old Lady and now the direct path from the kitchen to the dining room is blocked, despite us clearly needing that area cleared to be able to get things set up. But whatever. God help our cluelessness.
MLH makes some statement about getting the hallway set up and BS all of a sudden goes "why?" And MLH says "because that's where we're setting things up." And BS makes a face and says "why? it's cold out there." And MLH goes on some mini diatribe about how our apartment hasn't been tidied up and it's so embarrassing, devastating, and humiliating.
Yes, in front of Little Old Lady and Other Neighbor. FFS.
Well, BS's resistance settles the topic - we're doing it in our apartment.
Which shouldn't really be much of a shock, considering that MLH set the location for the event as our apartment and nobody knew the original intention was to have it in the hallway to begin with. But whatever.
Right after Little Old Lady arrived, MLH started cutting the brownies and needed a tutorial on how. Like, seriously? While she was cutting the brownies I asked her what she wanted to do with the bunt cake.
Her response: "Well, we could do an icing or a drizzle, but that means pulling out the confectioner's sugar and vanilla and making a mess... we could cut it up and put it on plates, or just leave it plain and let people do what they want. It's a cake; don't overthink it."
So fine, I left it alone.
Then at about 6:20pm, while she's cutting the brownies into ridiculous shapes despite what I had shown her, she asks me "What do you want to do with the cake?"
I said, "I don't know, it's your cake, whatever you want."
And I get back a condescending remark through forced smile and gritted teeth: "Thank you so much for your help."
Because, I'm of course the bad guy.
Because she "planned" and did a piss-poor job of it.
Because I clearly needed this right now.
I should add that I've been having issues today with the arm that I broke earlier this year. I don't know the cause of it, but I've been experiencing pain for hours, which she knew. And I even made a comment to her about how the most pain is when I have to rotate my arm and grasp things which is required for cutting and carrying.
Yet she kept trying to get me to cut and carry things.
It's almost like she wants me to say no so that she can be upset.
I don't get it.
Anyway, so now we're hosting this little party in our apartment that is "so gross and disorganized and unclean and an embarrassment" or whatever, and while guests are literally coming in she's puttering around tidying random things and muttering under her breath how embarrassed she is at the state of the apartment.
Which, granted, is a bit unorganized, but isn't unclean. It's just not "host-a-party" clean because we didn't clean to be hosting a party.... because it was supposed to be in the hallway and not in the apartment....
So at around 6:30pm, about halfway through the time she alloted for this "party", MLH was fuming at the embarrassing state of our apartment and my inability to be helpful physically (or idea-wise, considering I just parroted back the whole not overthinking the cake situation to her and I guess that was the wrong thing to do), BS started putting together a glaze for the cake, and I sat down on the couch, out of the way, and checked a few messages on my phone and started cataloguing my thoughts.
And MLH took that opportunity to ask me in a whisper across the room "are you going to join us?" To which I was like "what?" and she said louder "are you going to join us at the table?" and I was like "I don't know, maybe" and she said something like "well, then, just go to your room. this is not nice." Because I guess me sitting on the couch on my phone while things were still being pulled together and Little Old Lady was shmoozing with two neighbors, was the rudest thing I could possibly be doing.
Should I remind you that I'm in my mid-30s?
And being reprimanded like a child.
For being in pain and out of the way while people set up a party that I was told straight-up to not do much for.
I frickin' hate my stupid life.
Shabbos was decent and this is how my week starts.
I'm over it all already.
So, my dear future husband...
Here's wishing you a shavua that's tover than mine.
-LivelyHeart
*and just because my life is ridiculous and stupid, this rabbi was someone my mother was doing work for at the time, and who has since been locked up for being a disgusting pervert who went off the rails when he was found out and arrested. I don't even know if he's frum anymore, not that he truly was if he was really doing all those gross things he was accused of, which I kind of don't doubt, based on the piles and piles and piles of evidence....

Okay, I normally don’t post my art if I use a base as a starting point (which, I’ll be frank, I tend to do. Mostly just because I view them as dolls and they help me get character/outfit designs down), but yall. I had a fucking VISION. I started this yesterday at like 1 in the morning, didn’t stop until I finished the outline (at 3 in the morning), and I just finished it today (also at 1 in the morning…huh). And I am so fucking proud of everything in this and I just need to share oh my GOD
Tumblr media
It’s he!!!! It’s human Kremy Lecroux!!!! And I know I don’t have his top hat, and that’s for a few reasons
1) the hair was already a learning experience on its own and I didn’t want to overcomplicate things and get myself frustrated because of it
2) the hairstyle I went with wouldn’t really allow for his hat
3) I can’t draw hats. Like at all. They always look like shit.
But anyway! I am so proud of the hair yall. I didn’t actually want this hairstyle, i actually wanted them to be down, but the hair just want hairing. The Timelapse doesn’t show the amount of times I hit the back arrow (which was a lot. Especially in the sketching phase. Especially for the hair), but it was A LOT. So I just kinda went with this. I think it fits Kremy though, probably moreso now than it would’ve before
Also, I used this watercolor brush when sketching out the hair, and then when it came to outlining, I traced over the individual brush strokes. I think it worked out beautifully. I then used that same brush later for the individual texturing when i started on the detail work.
Also, that tattoo on his neck was actually inspired by Kremy’s cane and Dr Facilier as a whole (I actually wanted to use the background of Dr Facilier’s shop during “Friends on the Other Side” as the background for this, but they all had Dr Facilier in the picture and I didn’t feel like copying all those details). That’s also the reason why I gave Kremy a shadow, instead of the thick white outline I have a tendency to do on my other works.
Also, notice the ring? I’m just gonna say that’s his wedding ring. Bc why not. It’s cute, it’s him, and the ruby in the middle is vaguely inspired by this fanart I saw on here that essentially had Kremy using his wedding ring as a makeshift lighter on the rare occasion his personal space heater of a husband isn’t there to light his cigarette for him. Just…ignore that it’s NOT on his left ring finger
(Btw, it’s also loosely based on my own personal headcanon—where essentially Kremy, Gideon, and the pixies all got these magical fae wedding rings that magically appeared on their fingers bc it was technically a fae pact so…)
And please ignore the hella inconsistent shading. I had intended on doing highlights as well, but I forgot. I also forgot his mustache. Ah well. I think you can still get the Kremy vibe without it lol.
Idk man I am just so fucking happy with this. I very rarely get so into a drawing that I just…draw. Like this. Most of my artworks lately are just simple shapes and flat colors.

Haha okay that was too corny, if you want to see the rules and invitation to the event here is the invite post and here are the prompts I will be using today! If you would like to still join, our lovely host is still adding late additions to the taglist. Everyone is welcome! If you just wanna chill on this break season and read creations for writemas then I highly encourage you to check out the invite page and look through other folk’s work and spread some love and holiday cheer! XOXO
Prompts used:
Dialogue: "Leave this place. Leave me. I have had enough. I cannot endure another moment with you, so please, I beg you, leave."
Setting: A (stone) wall of thorns
I don’t know if anyone caught it yesterday but I actually had Perci with Nilus and Melina(although I forgot to tag her oops, it’s fixed now though)! It’s like a crossover episode. Now yesterday I focused more on Nilus and Perci, so today I will be focusing on Perci and Melina. Yay!
Read about the WIP here!!
Enjoy today’s stuff!! <333
------------------------------
Perci gazed deeply at the stone wall at a safe distance from him. He smiled to himself, feeling the nice feverish heat radiating from the magical rocks. It had been a week and a half since he looked at his winter coats, or even snow for that matter. Oh, the spoils of war. Mom exaggerated so much about Haukrosen, it’s very nice here. He thought to himself, tracing the gaps between where the stones laid down atop each other with his eyes. Perci was very eager to get his time’s worth of the bustling, yet warmly inviting city before they had to leave on their mission a week from then.
Deciding that looking at the walls that towered over the capital like an insane person was not enough, Perci walked back inside of the castle his assigned Queensman and crew were in. He walked across the halls, admiring the beautiful architecture of the place. After a while of walking he saw a room with the door cracked open, with a strange kind of green light slithering out of the opening. He pushed the door open more to peak in, allowing it to creak wide open. Leaning on the smooth wilthstone edges of the door frame, he peeped in.
Inside, there was just a lone woman in the room, dressed in a long robe, working on something peculiar. She had dozens of different kinds of plants and equipment surrounding her. Creatures in cages lined the walls behind her. Some of the life she had in there to be imports, expensive ones at that, as Perci hadn’t seen anything of the like in Pytharios before. He was sure she was their Herbalist, since she had the coordinating colors to the division, but she never, ever spoke to anyone— other than reporting to the other Queensmen, of course—, so he couldn’t know anything about her for sure. Now, he has a chance to talk to the mysterious woman.
“Uh, hey there! I guess we haven’t ever formally spoken together, one on one, right? So, moving on to my point here, um, I’m not so sure of your family name, I might have heard it from Queensmen Hyde but I just want to be sure of it. It’s Harrier right? Like the family that started the city Elares? My family traveled there once, when my dad was around, that is. We definitely couldn’t afford a trip like that now.”
He could hear her swallow hard as she glanced up from the large book in her hands.
“Yes.”, She finally answered, although pretty shakily.
Perci took a step into the room with her, taking his hands off the archway of the room, “Oh, well then. That’s really interesting to know.”
Silence overwhelmed the room again, as the woman absentmindedly went back to finishing her work.
Another enthusiastic question appeared in Perci’s head, “Hey, didn’t they originally establish the city to hold prisoners there? Well, y’know, not anymore. Since, last time I heard of it, they tore the jailhouses down. Right?”
“The prison is still there, believe me.”
Perci nervously laughed, not sure what exactly she meant by that, and carried on with the questions, “Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought they didn’t have another daughter”
“I am her.” She said in a monotonous distracted tone, almost as if she was dismissing him from speaking altogether.
“Oh, I thought you overtook the city’s government, I didn’t think you would leave from such a good position like that. I mean, also, you just don’t seem a whole like her. She was quite the active person when I was there last.”
A quick noise of acknowledgement came right after Perci spoke that last part. He could tell she really wanted to change the subject, for whatever reason. Breathing in deeply to start over fresh, He tried to do exactly that.
“Wow! I sure haven’t seen anyone use…whatever that is, to do…whatever you are doing.” Perci awkwardly said, trying to break the ice with this strange woman.
Melina simply ignored him, still busy combining various strange herbs and substances in the pot before her. Nothing he tried seemed to break the ice again.
“Where did you learn how to do all of this? There was nothing remotely close to this in the academy! This stuff is absolutely remarkable!”
Again, no answer came.
Perci noticed as he came closer to her she was making some kind of wellness potion. It was bizarre, he hadn’t known of anyone in ages doing this.
He tried to strike up conversation one more time, trying to help the older woman out, “Why can’t you just use magic? This kind of stuff is archaic! Magic is a much quicker and easier way to do all whatever position you are trying to make.”
Melina breathed in deep, “You give to make, child.”
“I know, but I don’t see the harm there, you don’t have to use your own life force, that would be just silly. You can always just use these plant’s lives here, they won’t mind it. You already are using them in another way, it shouldn’t be any different. It’s simple science! Anyone with life can use magic, so that means you can get magic from anything alive.”
Regret set in the moment he said that. He could see the intense feeling of anger settle into her skin in real time. The hairs at the back of her neck stood at their ends as she slowly turned around to face the young boy, her long, white coat whipping around a second after her body did. She slammed her book shut, sending echoes across the room of the loud bang. The wise lines on her face wrinkled further as her face shifted to pure yet quiet anger.
"You think I don’t know that? I—No, no, no. I can’t take it anymore, this is too much. Leave me. I have had enough. I cannot endure another moment with you, so please, I beg you, leave." Melina exhaled out, only snapping out of her usual trance-like demeanor for just that moment, then quickly returning back with tears in her eyes.
“I’m sorry, but go on, please.” Melina said with sorrow filled words.Did I say something wrong? Perci thought, trying to analyze her odd behavior to the question. Even though it was an odd reaction, Perci realized he definitely overstayed his welcome with her. So, respecting her wishes, he left without another word. But still, as he walked back down the halls, he wondered why she was so adverse to a great thing like magic.
(PLEASE tell me if you wanna get added to a tag list here because I genuinely don't know who to tag lol. I'll edit this and add you in!! <3 )

alright, it's done. i finished it.
this is the third and final part of things that happened in my first bg3 playthrough ever that I found so funny that I put them in my notes (spoilers below)
let me start this by saying I have only cried twice in the 155 hours it took me to complete this shit. however, I have almost-screamed at the characters more times than I'd like to admit. but first here's stuff that happened since the last one of these posts I made:
after killing Orin I went around Baldur's Gate for a while and did odd sidequests, including
clearing out a haunted house and sidelining to kill a stinky man in a wardrobe (and drag his body to a guy two streets over)
entirely ignored Gale's quest to look at a book because I kept getting arrested there after having killed the boss mage guy
I also foolishly though this wouldn't have any consequences. oh boy was I wrong
went to see a underwater prison, got told off by Gortash, decided to explore it after killing him, and promptly forgot to do so
killed Gortash! fuck that guy the only good thing about him is his fancy robe
tried to recruit a dragon called Ansur, found out the emperor is Balduran (????????? honestly I was shocked)
killed said dragon and felt like I was playing skyrim all over again
found a letter ("Dear Ansur") by Balduran/the Emperor. this was the first time I cried. I could still cry.
patch 6 came out! that was yesterday and I spent about 10 minutes trying out new kisses and sitting on Shadowhearts stool in camp (she now says "I'm glad you decided to join me" or something like that when you do)
went pretty much straight to the underground pool thing where the brain was supposed to be
failed abysmally to Dominate The Brain™
got pulled out by the emperor and had to start beef with Lae'zel because I had also forgotten to care about Orpheus and the hammer from the House of Hope
admittedly, I didn't really forget, I just didn't want to spend any more time with Raphael than I absolutely had to
my +14 persuasion saved the day once more and Lae'zel was fine with the one hope in her life getting his brains sucked out
went off to fight the brain once more. my game crashed twice trying to load that cutscene.
met all my allies! I forgot how many there were actually, and I only called on two of the groups later on
fought a lot. like a LOT lot.
got to the Netherbrain and kicked it's ass*
*had to reload about 3 times and try again because Minsc at level 12 was stuck on 100 hp for some reason and kept fucking dying
finally managed to kill the fucker! had Lae'zel deal the killing blow which seemed very fitting
more cutscenes, but this one actually didn't crash the game, I got to look at some beautiful unloaded walls and stuff instead
Lae'zel left right after we got to the haven. understandably so
remember how I ignored Gale's quest? well he didn't blow himself up like he inteded earlier, but he left to becOME A GOD????? I cannot fucking deal with this man
Karlach on the pier. this was the second time I cried, but unproportionally much so
Wyll left with her for Avernus, the little cutscene of them arriving there made me feel a bit better
Astarion had to leg it because of the sun (sorry)
Shadowheart didn't do much of anything during all of this, neither did Minsc, Halsin or Jaheira
decided to go help kids with Halsin, seems to fit my character (eventhough I really didn't roleplay so much)
we got an epilogue! yippie!
caught up there with everyone, except Lae'zel (who was there via the fantasy version of zoom) and Gale (who was there via the fantasy equivalent of a voicemail)
tried to hug Gale, couldn't, almost cried again but managed
also met a tressym who I recognized from fanart as Tara. I don't know why she was there, we never met her before and Gale hadn't mentioned her either
read a LOT of letters the party had received. barely kept my composure at the Gur's letter to Astarion
Withers did a cool speech and the game ended
after all of this and so much more that I didn't take notes about, I can confidentially say that Baldur's Gate 3 is the best video game I have ever played, and within it's genre my favourite ever!
I'm also emotionally devestated, especially after these final parts (but in a good way)
that's all, thanks for reading!

Craig Tucker x Fem!reader
💌 Craig Tucker is a mother fucker: Chapter 6  💌
Summary:  You want to say that it wasn't your fault buuuuuut it kinda was. You didn't think much of it as you casted your joke vote for the "Hottest guy in school" and in hindsight you should never listen to Clyde but it was pretty funny at the time. Craig just wanted a peaceful junior year and you can't blame him for that however waking up the morning after a party, in his bed, being told that you two were dating wasn't exactly your definition of peaceful either.
Notes:  I was always too scared of the fandom to post it back in the day but I wrote this before Creek was made canon so let's just say Craig is bi for my sake because I've had a huge crush on him since forever. My S/O pointed out that Craig is just Trafalgar Law but with a guinea pig instead of a polar bear and I haven't been the same since I have a type and it's them.
💌 Word count: 3,476 💌  <= Previous | Chapter 7 =>
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You ended up staying over at Craig's for a bit. It's not like you could go home anyways. You completely forgot that Bebe still had your keys. It was the weekend and it's not like you had anything important to do but it was awkward. Craig didn't care one way or the other. He was on his phone still laying in bed. Neither of you made any effort to get dressed either. You're not quite sure how you felt about that but it wasn't like he was eyeing you up or anything. Actually he probably didn't care about that either considering you've been like this since last night. You should message Bebe so you could get your keys back but you then you'd have to indulge in her fantasy about you and Craig and you didn't want to give her any ideas about what could have happened last night. What were you even going to tell her no matter what she's going to think you boned. You open up your messages and stare at the screen. Before you could start typing Craig's phone rings and he picks it up.
"Yeah....nothing, still in bed....she's awake...." He looked over at you and mouthed "Clyde" you mouth back "Ah"
"What time?....Okay, later." he ended the call and tossed his phone back on his bed as he stood up and stretched. "Bebe's still asleep so there's no rush but Clyde wants to go to Tweeks bros to get coffee for his hangover. Do you want to take a shower first or should I?" you sat up to think about it as you snickered to yourself for what you were about to say "Or you could take a shower with me." you wink at him biting your lip. He leans down lifting your chin so you were staring him in the eyes "Don't test me, I might just call your bluff?" you laughed and pushed his hand away "Pfft okay fine you got me. I'll go first then." he turned around to get you a change of clothes "That's what I thought." he sounded too smug and you crossed your arms as he tossed you a shirt. It was a black NASA shirt. "That's the smallest shirt I think I have. Pants I think you're better off wearing what you wore last night." you unfolded the shirt, it was a little big still but it was fine. "I'm fine with just the shirt." you'd rather not have to wear your crop top in broad daylight. He lead you into the bathroom and showed you how the shower worked. He handed you a towel "Oh and try not to fall."
"Oh haha" you stuck your tongue at him as he left. You looked in the mirror before you took your shower, "Oof" you forgot that Wendy and Bebe did your make up yesterday. You looked like a trash panda, you know a raccoon. You looked through the cabinet. Tricia must have make up wipes somewhere.
Some time later you finished your shower and got changed. You walked back into Craig's room "Well it's about time they're already at Tweeks." he grabbed his clothes and left. You looked at your phone it was dying but you could see that Bebe had sent you a few more messages. Unfortunately when you tried to click on them your phone died. You looked around Craig's room. On his desk there was a black book it kind of looked like a journal. You stand hovering your hand over the book contemplating breaching his privacy. You sighed you probably shouldn't touch anything but you wanted too. You were bored leaving the book where it was and made the bed instead. After you were done Craig came back to get you. "Did you seriously make the bed?"
"My phone died okay, what else was I supposed to do." he only shrugged as you both went downstairs and put your shoes on. Craig locked the door and turned to you he offered you his hand and you quirked an eyebrow. "I can walk just fine you know."
"Yeah no shit." he grabbed your hand anyways and pulled you along "Dating, remember? Or is someone afraid of being seen holding hands" you walked a little faster "As if! Just keep up with me." this was ridiculous and you couldn't help but smile just what were your friends going to think. As soon as he caught up to the pace that you were walking at you pushed a little more eventually you both were running making it a contest to see who touch the door first. All the while still holding hands you both burst through the door panting out of breathe. Craig lightly squeezed your hand. "I.... win... two, one....Your move atheist."
"Go...Fuck... yourself..."
"Fuck me yourself, you coward." you glared at him for a bit before turning away to find where Bebe and Clyde were. Everyone in Tweek bros looked over in your direction as you made your way over to their table.
"Are you guys okay?" Clyde asked as Craig let go of your hand and grabbed what he assumed was his iced chai tea latte. You caught your breath and sat down next to Craig "Actually-" You were about to say something else when Craig put the straw from his drink in your mouth. You took a sip but instantly regretted it. "Sweet jesus, how can you drink that?"
"Excuse you, it's Christmas in a cup and it's fucken delicious."
"Yeah if you like the taste of burnt pumpkin pie covered in pure sugar." you spat back sticking your tongue out trying to get the taste out of your mouth. Craig put his arm around you "What can I say I have a sweet tooth." he winked at you and you rolled your eyes smirking "And I don't."
"Well yeah, you're dating me." you both looked at Bebe and Clyde. Neither of you planned this it just happened that way. Clyde almost dropped his drink and Bebe lit up clapping her hands together "I knew it, I knew it! You guys, I'm so happy for you!" She got up to hug you "Sooooo did you guys-"
"Bebe no." you tried to push her off as she continued to wiggle her eyebrows at you while Clyde laughed "I was thinking it was about goddamn time. I thought I'd have to slip Craig a few drinks to make it happen but turns out only one of you needed to be drunk." It was no use, they were going to think it regardless of your protest. You looked to Craig for help with the situation but he continued to drink his abomination of a drink. That's when you remembered the real reason why you were here "Oh yeah Bebe, can I have my keys back now?"
---
Monday rolled around relatively fast. You were nervous, this was it, the big reveal. It was driving you crazy. Craig didn't give you any guidelines only said anything goes. Like what the fuck did that mean? In hindsight drunk you had no idea what they'd be getting you into. You were just about ready to leave when your phone rang. You looked at the caller ID and it was "<3" you scrunch your eyebrows together. When did you do that? You picked up "Why are you a heart in my phone, did you do that?" Craig didn't answer your question he only said to come downstairs. Whatever it didn't matter anyways you knew who it was. Craig technically had his license but he wanted to walk with you to school, probably to hold hands again. It was a very low effort way to get people to see you were dating. You came downstairs and locked the door.
Craig yawned as he extended his hand to grab yours. "You doing alright?" you both walked at a normal pace this time. The walk to school wasn't terribly long but you'd rather not end up making as big of an entrance as last time. "Clyde kept me up all night. He's way too invested in my personal life." Bebe was the same way with you but now she can't complain about it not. You did your task, you got a boyfriend what else could she project onto you. As you both made you way into school just like before people were staring and muttering to themselves. You forgot just how weird it was to have everyone's eyes on you. You didn't like it but if this was the last time it would happen then you would have dated Craig a long time ago.
Craig gave your hand one more squeeze as you both sat down. You almost forgot that you guys were holding hands. It felt strangely comfortable to be holding his hand. You took one last look at Craig and he pointed to the front. You think this is the first time that you paid any attention to class. You stretched and the bell rang as Mr. Garrison was just finishing up with class. Craig was already waiting for you at the door offering his hand once more. You took it smiling awkwardly as you heard the comments from your peers. You walked to your next class trying to ignore all the comments. You almost forgot there was a recording of you from Clyde's party that someone took. You should really watch it just to see how bad it was. You were about to pull out your phone when Craig suddenly pushed you against a locker.
"Um ow! Warn me next time you try to Kabe-Don me!" He leaned in to you slightly embarrassed "I saw Lola and I panicked okay, just act natural." you tried not to laugh but couldn't help it you've never seen him so jumpy before. Admittedly it was weird to think that the sarcastic asshole you knew disliked confrontation this much. You're not sure if you should want to thank Lola for breaking Craig or curse her for taking what was supposed to be your job. Never the less you should probably do something about this.
"As if this is natural?" You giggle glancing around trying to see where Lola was. She was walking in towards you looking in your direction. You grinned when she made eye contact with you.
PERFECT
You grabbed the little flaps on Craig's hat to pull him closer kissing him on the cheek, keeping eye contact with Lola the whole time. The flaps covered just enough of your faces to make it look like you were actually kissing. She quickly averted her eyes elsewhere and accidentally bumping into a few people as she walked away. You heard whistling and a hand appeared on Craig's shoulder.
"And here I thought you hated PDA?" it was Clyde and Bebe. She gave you a thumbs up and you end up blushing as she wiggles her eyebrows at you.
"Shut up!" Craig said hiding his face as you all walked into class. "Hey, I'm not saying it's a bad thing." he paused trying to find the right words "It's just unexpected." you all sat down and Craig sighed "Whatever." Still hiding his face from you.
The bell rang and you started class. The teacher passed out a few papers with a list of different types of people and objects. Basically you had to determine the most optimal team in an emergency situation with two different scenarios. The first example was an airplane crash in Alaska and you have to determine whether you left the crash site and what you would take from the list of supplies. You could only pick 10 out of 20. The next situation was, if you were in a post-apocalyptic event which occupation would benefit you more on your team. Needless to say you all got into an argument over what to choose. Clyde really wanted that chocolate bar but Craig vetoed it. In the end when the class was told how well they would do in each situation and based on your groups choices, you guys placed 3rd likely to survive the plane crash but 1st in the post apocalyptic crisis.
Class finished and you once again walked through the halls holding Craig's hand. As you got closer to your math class you saw Stan walk over to you. You instinctively dropped Craig's hand as he approached. It was unintentional but Craig noticed, making it a point to grab your hand again holding it tightly so you couldn't let go.
"I heard you guys are actually dating now, congrats." you struggled against Craig's grip but tried to play it off. You tried "I--uh-- We--" you were really bad at playing it off but Stan didn't seem to notice. Craig pulled you in closer patting your head with a soft smile "(Y/n)'s still embarrassed to bring it up but were official."
You, He, WHAT?!
You death gripped Craig's hand as your face turns red. Stan looks at you in awe and smiles "Hey at least that's cute, (Y/n) you should have seen me in fourth grade I used to throw up every time I tried to talk to Wendy." Craig smirked clearly enjoying getting to tease you "See honey it could be worse." You honestly could not believe what is happening right now.
"Can we just go sit down already? We're kinda blocking the doorway." It was abrupt but you wanted to drop the conversation, you basically dragged Craig over to your desk. You flail your hand around trying to get him to let go but it didn't work. "Come on class is about to start." you struggled against his grip once more "But you're being so cute right now."
You, He, WHY?!
Your face flushed and forced yourself to smile while you grit your teeth. "Honey, please go sit the fuck down." He snickered at you ruffling your hair before going to sit down. You plopped down in your chair putting your head down as you pull out your composition book. Almost instantly a note falls on your desk. You turn to see Craig return to his stoic uninterested face as he motions for you to read the note.
*Look at your phone*
You put your phone in your lap and see you have a message from Craig.
-<3-
10:43- It was Marsh, wasn't it? The one you had a crush on.
You ignored the message for now, putting your phone in your pocket. You felt it vibrate once more and you glanced back at Craig. He was looking at his phone but he noticed you staring and winked at you.
The bell rang so you didn't bother looking at the second message. This class was mostly review for your upcoming test. You tried to pay attention but ended up replaying the events that happened before class in your head. God Craig made you look and feel like an idiot and you couldn't stand giving him the satisfaction. You looked back over at him again. He called you cute and it pissed you off but you have to not let it get to you. You were supposed to be the one driving him crazy, not the other way around. That's right, get it together you agreed to this because you purposely wanted to get on his nerves. If he wanted to play sugar honey bunches of oats then damn it you were going to give him diabetes!
As class ended you mentally prepared yourself for your greatest acting debut yet. You bounced over to Craig's desk smiling as you extended your hand to him. He quirked an eyebrow at you but grabbed your hand anyways "So I was right?" you nodded cuddling up into his arms as you both made your way to the cafeteria. You felt him tense for a moment which made you smile brightly as you tried to sound as sweet as possible "Yes honey, but it doesn't matter anym-" you were taken off guard as Craig shoved you into the janitor's closet.
"Really?! Is this going to be a regular thing with you." You almost tripped over a broom that was on the floor but he held you upright as he continued to panic again.
"Fuck I think she saw us," Craig was looking around for a better place to hide but there wasn't much "Shit." It was dark but the room was small enough to where if someone opened the door you both would be seen. You have no idea why he panics when it concerns Lola, like you know you annoy him but he's never just made it appoint to avoid you. Well not like this anyway and you can't help but feel a little offended that you don't make him have this big of a reaction.
There was a beat before you both heard someone grab for the doorknob. You needed to act fast and Craig was still drawing a blank.
"Fuck it just" you sighed pulling at the collar of his shirt crashing your lips on his. This was the only thing that you could come up with, he didn't exactly give you many options or ideas for that matter. You were going to try to make this look as desperate as possible and hope she buys it. You took off his hat running your fingers through his hair. You feel him tense up at the contact but frantically grasp at you, holding you close trying to follow your lead as the door opens.
"Craig I-" it was Lola she stood there shocked at the scene in front of her. You felt Craig relax into the kiss and it made your stomach flutter as your lips almost melted together.
You both just continued making out in front of her, paying her no mind until she stuttered out a "S-Ssorry!" as she blushed and closed the door. You gave it a few beats before slowly pulling away with half lidded eyes and a string of saliva still connecting you to Craig. Your heart was racing as you caught your breath. Your head was a little fuzzy, Craig was a surprisingly good kisser. You took a moment to untangle yourself from him regaining your composure
"There, now I'm sure she'll leave you alone." you wiped your mouth and looked at Craig he was being awfully quiet. He seemed pretty dazed as well staring at you touching his lips. It was dark enough so that you couldn't tell if his face was red or not. You had no idea what he was thinking but hey he was the one that said anything goes so he couldn't complain.
"Oh come on, I didn't even bite that hard." You joked as you grabbed for the door to open it. You started walking out but noticed Craig stayed where he was. You turned back to him it was weird to see him without his hat on it made you think back to the weekend. You could feel your face heating up. The disheveled look suited him nicely.
"Honey, you coming or what." He was still quiet no snide remarks or clever quips. You think you broke Craig, mission accomplished. He put his hat on and followed you out as you grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze.
Making your way to the usual table you smiled when Token and Tweek lost their shit. You laughed at their reaction and half expected some sort of sarcastic remark from Craig but it never came. It wasn't like him to zone out like this but no one batted an eye at it. "Maybe he's at his limit for human interaction for the moment?" you think to yourself as you continued with the rest of the day. Lola didn't bother you after that and thank god.
You really wanted to ask Craig what the deal was with her but you shrugged it off. He was still quiet when he walked you to your last class. "Hey, are you okay you've been pretty out of it since lunch?" he didn't look you in the eyes like he has been he just looked off to the side and rubbed his neck "I..." he trailed off and you tilted your head "I'm just tired."
"Ah," you stood on your tippy toes and kissed his forehead "Only one more class, you can make it." you gave him a thumbs up and a dorky grin. He smiled at the floor and waved you off going to his class. You sat down and looked out the window. It was funny to think that a year ago you hated his guts and now you've seen him nearly naked and made out with him. It definitely was not how you expected your junior year to go.

Petrichor - Part 1
Tumblr media
matty healy x reader (fluff) word count: 2.4k A/N: (moved from @cryley-fics where it was originally posted) ♡ Helloooo, it's Ry. This is actually the first fic I've posted on tumblr and also the first fic I've written in 7ish years. I've recently been yanked back into my 1975 obsession and literally can't stop thinking about Matty, so I decided to write again. Please please please be kind since I am v rusty with my writing ♡ ▹ masterlist ▹ part 1 ▹ part 2 ▹ part 3 ▹ part 4 ▹ part 5
I quickly brushed my hands off onto my apron before walking to the back room. Glancing at my watch, I groaned. It was too early to be awake. Well, I didn’t feel awake, but I tried my hardest to appear coherent. My eyes scanned the shelf full of metallic-looking bags until I found the one I needed.
“Didn’t expect to see you here this early.”
“Good morning to you too, Atlas.” Grabbing the full bag of espresso beans, I chuckled. “I requested this afternoon off.”
Pushing my way back through the swinging door, I plopped the bag on the counter. The cafe was really quiet in the mornings before we opened. It was nice to see it this way before the rush of equally tired people waiting to get their dose of beans.
“Well if you ever want to switch permanently to mornings, I can maybe convince Lansen.” Atlas stood at the end of the counter tying his apron around his waist.
I liked working the afternoon shifts, but it is nice working morning shifts when you end your shift at noon. Yeah, waking up at 3 am to get ready for work is the least fun thing to do in the world, but it beats retail.
I shrugged and continued filling the machine with the beans, “When you’re done clocking in, can you finish setting up while I count in the back?”
Looking over to Atlas, he nodded. He didn’t mind staying out front all morning if I’d let him. Paperwork was his enemy.
We were both some of the only shift leaders at this cafe. Most employees were either underage, newer hires, or simply just didn’t want the responsibility. Atlas was a very charismatic people-person who is perfect for customer interaction while I was…well let’s just say I liked doing back-of-house paperwork.
Walking over to my side, he bumped my shoulder to give me the queue that he will take over. Before pushing past the door, I switched on the speakers and put on the “manager-approved playlist” which mostly just consisted of repetitive weird piano and smooth jazz.
I placed the register drawers on the desk and got to counting. My head bobbed to the awkward sound of cups clanging and off tempo trumpet. Checking the clock on the office wall, I stood up and sighed.
Jamming the drawers back into the registers, I heard Atlas humming to the speaker’s music. He always seemed too happy in the mornings. I watched him lightly dance around behind the bar as he made iced tea.
“Going to the restroom quickly before we open in 10.”
I untied my already somewhat messy apron and placed it behind the counter before walking off. The bathroom was well-lit and clean. Thankfully the closers did their job yesterday without me around.
My tired reflection stared back at me in the mirror. In a rush, I could only manage to throw a beanie over my blonde hair and had to skip the contacts today. I pulled off my round wire-framed glasses to give them one last clean before inevitably becoming covered in splashes of coffee during my shift. I already couldn’t wait to go home and shower.
“Got any plans this weekend?” Atlas questioned as I placed my apron carefully back around my waist.
I grabbed the keys to unlock the front door, “Going to that show I told you about last week.”
“Oh yeah! I forgot that was today. Makes sense now why you are working a morning shift.” He ran his fingers through his messy brown hair while looking at his reflection on a spoon.
I rolled my eyes and settled into my usual spot behind the espresso machine. Atlas didn’t mind handling the register. More people to make conversation with.
A couple groups of customers came in over the next couple of hours. Most of them left with coffee to go, but some of the regular visitors made themselves comfortable at their usual tables. Atlas and I would sometimes switch positions with me at the register, but he would often chuckle at my fake chipper small talk, so I would make him switch back with me.
“Hey Y/N! Hey Atlas!”
I finished my last cappuccino for the small crowd of customers and peered over my shoulder.
“Morning Lindsay.” I smiled, grabbing a rag to clean the counters, “Can you take over the bar for me so Atlas can take his break?”
She nodded as I stood behind the register. Atlas lazily saluted to me before disappearing to the back room.
Lindsay started to clean and organize the drink area while I emptied the old pot of dark roast, so I could brew a fresh batch. It was nice to breathe for a second after the morning rush of customers subsided.
“I’m going to go get some more beans from the back. Did you need anything?” Lindsay skipped over to the door while her ponytail twirled behind her.
My finger tapped BREW, “No, I don’t think so. Thank you though Lin.”
I turned back to the register to check the time, 10 am. Only two hours left and I can leave for the week. I decided to use my time off this week after the concert because I never seem to have a reason to take vacations throughout the year otherwise. At least this week I might be able to take a trip somewhere after I recover from the show.
The cafe seemed to quiet down until the sound of the door closed. I looked out at the now pouring down rain I didn’t realize started during my shift. A man shook off his dark umbrella before walking up to the counter. He had his head down, putting the umbrella away in his bag. He was a bit taller than me and dressed in a long black coat. It was open just enough to see his forest green distressed sweater over top of a white shirt.
“Good morning.” The man mumbled in an unfamiliar voice.
It almost sounded like he spoke in an accent, but you couldn’t put your finger on it since it was so low and mumbled.
“Good morning. What can I get for you?” I fidgeted my fingers, tracing over the tattoos on my arm.
“Uh, a dark roast please.”
He was definitely British.
I looked up from my hand tracing over the ink on my skin, “I actually just started brewing a fresh pot of dark roast. If you grab a seat at a table, I can bring it to you when it’s finished if you’d like?”
My eyes finally met his. Oh god. I know this man.
His brown eyes stared back at me. The sides of his mouth curled up to form a slight smile.
“Yeah, I’ll be here for a bit. I have some work to do, so it probably won’t be my last cup either.” His hand raised to his curly brown hair to push it out of his face.
I finally broke eye contact to turn towards the pot of brewing coffee, “It’ll probably be about 5 minutes. Would you like anything to eat? It’s on the house.”
The dark-haired man cocked his head to the side raising his eyebrows, “Well I would love a scone.”
“I’ll bring it to you.”
He pulled out his phone and tapped it to the reader to pay for the coffee, “Thanks.”
I definitely knew who this man was. I didn’t think I’d be seeing him before tonight.
I grabbed the scone from the bakery case and placed it onto a plate using some tongs while the man found a seat at the table closest to the front window. I watched him as he took off his jacket and draped it over the back of his chair. He just started to settle down into his spot when I placed the plate on his table.
He cheekily smiled up at me with a wink, “Thank you, love.”
I flirtily winked back at him before heading to check on the brew. I could feel his eyes on me as I walked behind the counter.
Atlas emerged from the back and placed his apron back on. I checked the clock and replaced the now empty apron hook with my own apron.
“Let me make myself a drink quickly and deliver this man his dark roast before I go on my break.”
Atlas nodded and began to take a couple of lingering orders at the till.
As I finished pouring myself a hot tea, the dark roast was finally finished. I smiled back at the man at the corner table and realized his eyes never left me. A cup in each hand, I made my way back to the familiar face.
“Here’s your dark roast.” I placed the cup gently on the table as I glanced down at his tattoos, “Did you need any cream or sugar?”
He caught me glancing and rolled up his sleeves to show off the art, “No thank you, love. I prefer it as is.”
“Nice meeting you, Matty. Enjoy your coffee.”
The man took a break from sipping his drink to look back in my direction. His eyes met mine once more as I blushed through a smile.
I turned and made my way over to my usual couch in the opposite corner in front of the cafe. I usually took my breaks out on the floor since the back office didn’t get service at all. I could use the hour to catch up on emails. At least I would try to start catching up on emails until I undoubtingly get distracted from my crush sitting opposite me. Placing my tea on the coffee table to save my spot, I rushed to the back to grab my phone and headphones.
“Do you know that guy or something?” Lindsay followed me into the back.
A giggle escaped my mouth, “Not exactly. Just indirectly, I guess.”
She side-eyed me with a cheeky look before grabbing a refill of vanilla sweetener and heading back through the door.
I could feel the heat rising to my face. Shoving my headphones in my ears, I decided to check the mirror in the office before returning to my tea. Man, I looked terrible. When I had dreamed of meeting Matty before, I didn’t look like I had been run over by a van. Managing to straighten my hair out as much as possible, I took a deep breath and made my way back out to the cafe. Pulling out my phone, I navigated to my music.
“On break” I mumbled over to the others while still staring down at my phone.
My feet carried me over to the familiar maroon couch until an unfamiliar sight was sat in my spot. Matty.
“Sorry,” He smirked, “were you going to sit here?”
Speechless, I picked up my tea, “It’s okay. I can sit somewhere e-”
“I’m joking!” He scooted over to the other end of the couch away from the window, “Come sit with me. I could use the company.”
“Didn’t you have work you wanted to get done?”
“It can wait.” He took another sip of his coffee.
Without much hesitation, I shuffled my way into my seat realizing it was a lot closer to him than it had seemed. I blushed and picked up my tea, eager to take a sip.
“So you obviously know who I am. Will you tell me about you?” He nudged my shoulder with his own.
I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, “My name is Y/N.”
“Lovely name.”
I smiled, “And after work today, I’ll be getting ready to go to your show.”
“Oh, are you not one of those people who wait outside for hours and hours?” He takes a long sip of his drink, still not breaking eye contact.
I’m the one to break it first as I look down at my hands and chuckle, “unfortunately I could only get stadium seating. GA was impossible to snag.”
“Oh yeah?”
“And expensive as fuck.” I rolled my eyes at him.
“Okay, well that isn’t exactly our fault.”
I gave him an accusing look and shrugged.
“Hey! I promise it isn’t our fault!” He laughed while leaning into my side, “Anyway, you shouldn’t accuse someone of lying when they could get you a side-stage view of your favorite band.”
His body leaning into mine felt like fire flowing through me. He was just a normal person like everyone else. I usually didn’t feel nervous when meeting famous people before. I used to meet loads of my favorite artists back when I went to shows more frequently. Maybe because I was just caught off guard in “the wild”?
“You’re telling me that you could get me side-stage tickets to Phoebe Bridgers?”
He matched my smirk, “Hah Hah. Very funny. I meant my band.”
“Bold of you to assume the 1975 is my favorite band.” I sipped my tea.
“Your tattoo gave it away.” He lightly grabbed my arm in one hand and pointed with the other.
I had a lot of tattoos on my arm, but in between some of the larger pieces I had a little box with the words “modernity has failed us” in scribbled writing.
I immediately blushed. Not just from him noticing my 1975 tattoo, but mostly from the grasp he had on my arm. He rubbed his thumb over the scribbled words decorating my skin.
“You have a lot of other cool ones too, but I think this is my favorite.” He winked.
“So uh,” I tried not to stumble over my words, “what else do you want to know about me?”
“A lot actually. I have time.”
“Well, I only have 40 minutes left on my break.” I gestured with my free hand to the clock.
He let go of my arm to rummage through his bag. I really wished he hadn’t let go. It felt cold and lonely without his warm thumb brushing over my skin.
“That settles it then,” he handed me his phone, “can I have your number?”
My heart dropped. Is he serious right now? Even if I give him my number, it’s not like he is actually going to reach out to me.
I take his phone and type my number into the field. I saw that he had already added my name at the top. Y/N (cute barista).

day 15 - music ! i have quite a bit for this one. item 1: unfinished storyboard i made a while ago! the song is lonely eyes by the front bottoms :) item 2: lyric comic i made during digital art class! it's a different au from what i usually post of john and colin but still. song is nights like these by pigeon pit :) item 3: drawing based on lyrics ! yippee. song is tall black trees by pigeon pit.
And here's a character playlist for the both of them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvMPESsWlYRcveDMBU7vjSBoK2srwEm6x
And a lil guide to it (i could elaborate on these song choices but i won't): Colin (gen) - mamma told me, oh you, hell above, milk crates, mushrooms, bitter choco decoration Colin (towards John) - nerve, the vampire, my corpse friend, ghost boys, darkest heart John (gen) - trees ii, mawce, brave as a noun, goodbye declaration, shadow (i'm breaking down) John (towards Colin) - i don't smoke, too close, lonely eyes, overgrown garden, lost kitten, vampire empire, bathtub mermaid, fool, poison, disasterology, real men, world.execute(me);, parasite, opium, it's you, a human's touch, icicles, it should've been me, i needed you/you needed time, why didn't you stop me, the desolation of spring, the girl who faded away, tall black trees Dawsey (about him in any sense) - the bird song, twelve feet deep, awkward conversations, jet pack blues, bulletproof love misc (NOT just vibes based but i can't put a category to it) - killer (could be anyone), weathergirl (probably john but dawsey has a heavy association with rain), i left my towel... (same as weathergirl)
(prompt list)
CWs for content below in the lyric comic and the storyboard: smoking, alcohol use, implied alcoholism, suicide attempt in one of them (it's reiterated right above), just. a lot of angst lmao
Tumblr media
but first, here's the drawing without the lyrics in the way :) he's in colin's room! lots of ways to tell that here lmao. also i was initially coloring/shading with my nightlight on but thankfully it actually looks closer to what i was trying to achieve without it on lmao
next is lonely eyes storyboard! CW: alcohol use, smoking, implied alcoholism, suicide attempt, rough falling out, and john has his top off on the last page. he's very underweight and has s/h scars (though there just kinda lines here). so if you're uncomfortable with that maybe scroll past.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
one of the panels on the third page was added in like yesterday. bc i forgot a line somehow. anyway i think this song summarizes their story p well. never finished the boards though. you might recognize dawsey from prev days but there's also jackson (in the fedora but not john) and their boss (guy with the hair bun)
next is the night like these lyric comic! CW: smoking, alcohol use, implied alcoholism. couple of idiots thinking they're not doing enough for the other. artstyle goes back and forth between two alternatives lmao
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
my favorite bit is how the "you" points to john :) since the concept behind this story is an aro (bisexual) and an ace (homoromantic) trying to navigate a strange relationship in the 1960s i felt like the "fuck i'm sorry you feel all alone" line really fit. also even in the choruses i devoted to each of them you can tell how they're opposites. like with the framing of pages 3 and 7 specifically. this lyric comic is also where i figured out a lot of things. like colin's nose and how his ahoge always points to john. man i could say a lot more about this lyric comic

it's called ikan 3 rasa. translated directly to 3-flavoured fish haha. it's sweet and sour and spicy and i've loved it ever since i was a child!!! and i finally made it at home!! we've made it at home before, but i wasn't the one to "lead" the project, so to speak. i'm very proud of myself heheheh. we ate it for dinner and everyone rated it very highly so i'm patting myself on the back for it!!
OH also, i forgot to follow up to your ask BUT just as you answered it, the same day i got marius's enduring light card KAHRSKDJDJFK what did you not like about it? i haven't finished it (only on part two before i fell asleep yesterday after levelling it up) but i was kinda like. Going Through It in a manner of speaking. the first cg with marius pinning rosa to the table had me feeling UMMMMM 😃😄😁🫢🫣🧐😳🤒🤧 <- like that. i was sick. i was throwing up. i was astounded. i wanted to close every door i was capable of closing. I'M NOT EVEN A MARIUS STAN HOW THE HELL DO YOU GUYS LIVE LIKE THIS 💀💀💀💀
i also lowkey rlly like how bossy and domineering he sounds, its a nice contrast. it might also be because the one sounding domineering is ishikawa kaito who has a very good warm sort of boyish voice!! i really like how different it feels as an AU compared to the canon story. in vyn's too (i went for him first and used free pulls on marius and got lucky LMAO) his dialogue writing is a lot less condescending and he sounds more petulant and childish because he drops the honorifics and respectful language due to his character in the AU. personally, i like the AU, but not because i like the writing LOL tot could use a lot of improvement there, but everyone's fits were very cool + i like the opportunity for the voice actors to try out a different "tone" for the characters. since in canon / modern world, they're all fairly even tempered and not very animated + respectful, so it's nice to see them getting openly pissed off or bossy or Mean.
lowkey kinda didn't like vyn's story for the enduring light SSR tbh. i liked it well enough because of the refreshing VA work, but the story was just alright for me. it makes me want to write my own take on the AU, but i don't know enough about the historical context and i don't feel shameless enough to bullshit things about a culture that's not mine, haha. plus i already have a vyn thing in my drafts (but still not written out orz) so i'm Tired!!
this was long as always!!! this might as well be my signature in how i post!!! fajsklfjaskjsafjkf but thank you for dropping by, friend!!! i hope your weekend goes well!! >:D
(i'm not sure how to refer to you so if it's alright i'll just go with pirate from your url!)

OKAY I can finish out the season tonight :D
s3 ep6 The Portal
Tumblr media
D:
Tumblr media
D:
Tumblr media
I actually like this version of Glimmer's outfit better, but like, it's also got a swishy skirt and is more lavender so ....I would
Anyway Adora's been arrested trying to sneak into the castle
Tumblr media
FOCUS
Tumblr media
well now I'm actively trying not to think about the fic I read yesterday
Micah put a truth spell on Adora and she's ranting about the portal and all that and it's all true but of course she sounds NUTS
Tumblr media
aaugh
Tumblr media
the portal version of Entrapta ahahah
Tumblr media
lol of course she knows
"Only way to shut the portal off is from the inside,
Tumblr media
and is stuck there forever!!"
Adora mentions Hordak--
Tumblr media
The way her face lights up when talking about Hordak, but then falls when she remembers what Catra did--
Tumblr media
anyway she points out "oh the portal is following you, you need to get your sword out of the portal" to Adora who is, rightfully, a little horrified
Tumblr media
MARA
Tumblr media
oh lord you can see the look on Adora's face when she decides "actually Imma just go get my sword out"
Glimmer and Adora give her a pep talk and disappear
Tumblr media
OHHHHHH GOD
Tumblr media
HGGGGGGGH
Tumblr media
HGGGHHGHGHGHHGHHHHH
oh god I forgot what her voice sounds like when she's corrupted
Tumblr media
it took like four tries to get this one ahaha
oh I've realized when else a cartoon gave me that very specific shivery feeling AHAHAHA
Tumblr media
*squints at the username of the gifmaker* whatever. I'm just happy to find the exact gif I was looking for, for once, anyway, it's the fusion scene of Malachite from Steven Universe
It's not a sex-related feeling but it's not NOT a sex-related feeling??? I'm not sure if it's related to monsterfucking? the inherent eroticism of realizing a not-quite-human character could kill you for funsies?
I mean also Evelynn from K/DA does it to me sometimes (and she's literally like "but what if getting murdered was ~sexy~"). Hm. 🤔
Tumblr media
man I don't even have to caption this one
Tumblr media
look, I'm just horny-posting these at this point
Tumblr media
well also emotional posting because AUGH
Catra's just like, throwing her around (in various fake portal versions of places they've previously been) and Adora's not even really trying to defend herself
Tumblr media
and Catra's taunting her with variations on "this is all your fault"
Tumblr media
Like this is literally Adora's worst nightmare
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
I actually already have a screenshot of this saved somewhere because I was attempting to draw it so I could color it with watercolors and then glue super fine glitter over the glow-y parts, I think I got as far as some of the pencil lines, I should find that....of all the scenes in this show, that's the one I wanted to draw/paint.
Tumblr media
And then Adora starts fighting back finally, but also: 😏
Tumblr media
YEAH TELL HER
"I didn't break the world, but I am going to fix it!"
(I mean yeah but also: adds another mark on the page titled "times Adora tried to sacrifice herself to save other people")
"And you? You made your choice!" and hooboy that made Catra real mad
Tumblr media
LOL I RAN OUT OF IMAGES I knew I would with this one okay hold on

The Happiness We Deserve
Chapter 7
Read it here on ao3
Rated E | 1k (11.6k total)
CW: None for this chapter
Jay stops by while Ian is still over
Chapter 1
I posted this yesterday and forgot to post it here too. Oops. 😅
An hour and a shared bowl later, they were pleasantly high and relaxed further into the couch. It was nice, sitting there with Ian and talking about everything and nothing. Ian told him about his cat, about his coworkers, about living in the city. Mickey told him about the Alibi and about his time in prison.
They ended up talking about Ian’s family, too. Ian listened eagerly as Mickey told him little stories about his nieces and nephews, embarrassing things about his siblings, things he did and didn’t like about their partners.
Everything seemed to click into place. They slipped back into a comfortable atmosphere. It may have been the beers or the weed, but Mickey was enjoying the evening.
They did not talk about their past beyond sharing a few remembered stories from childhood. They didn’t talk about how things were left between them; how their last real conversation had been while Ian was sick, how he had broken Mickey’s heart that day, or how he stopped visiting. They didn’t talk about the fact that he’d left without saying goodbye to anyone. Not just Mickey, but Lip and Liam and Carl and Debbie.
And that was okay. Mickey was fine with that. He didn’t want to bring up the shitty stuff; he wanted to enjoy laughing and talking with a friend that he hadn’t seen in a long time.
It was okay and Mickey was fine with moving on.
But that was a lie.
Because really, he wanted to scream and yell. He wanted to curse Ian for leaving things the way he did. He wanted to ask how he could do that, wanted to know if what he said he’d felt for Mickey were lies. How else could he have let him go so easily? He wanted to know if everything they’d gone through together had fucked him up as much as it had fucked up Mickey.
He wanted to know if maybe, maybe, Ian had lingering doubts. If maybe his heart still yearned for-
But Mickey wasn’t going to allow himself to dwell on any of that.
Instead, he smiled, and nodded, and laughed as Ian told him about his life. The one he lived apart from Mickey.
Mickey was finishing off their second bowl when the door to his apartment unlocked and swung open.
Jay appeared in the doorway, still dressed in his suit from work, with his overnight bag slung over one shoulder. His nose scrunched as he smelled the weed. “Mickey,” he said with a sigh, closing the door and locking it, “you know I don’t like it when-”
He turned around and cut himself off with a small, “oh.”
Ian looked about as startled as Mickey felt. His wild eyes darted to Mickey briefly before looking back to Jay, offering him a little wave. “Uh,” he said, “sorry.”
“I didn’t know he’d still be here,” Jay said stiffly.
“I didn’t know you’d be comin’ by,” Mickey said, feeling a little annoyed. He knew that was unfair; Jay had a key and an open invitation.
“Yeah, well. I texted you when I left the office. I took the morning off tomorrow, so I figured we could…” He trailed off with a wave of his hand, but didn’t put down his bag or remove his jacket. “But if you’re busy-”
“No,” Ian said with a firm shake of his head, “I’m not staying much longer.” He looked down at his watch. “I should actually be getting back to the hotel. Doug will be waiting up for me.” It was a lie; he’d already told Mickey that Doug had gone to bed before he’d even come over. The model had a ridiculously early call time and needed rest. Mickey wanted to call Ian out on it, but he held his tongue.
“It was good to see you,” Jay said before Ian had even moved from the couch. With a clearly annoyed glance at Mickey, Jay disappeared into the bedroom. The door shut with a soft click.
“Um,” Ian said, laughing nervously and rubbing his thighs with his hands, “I don’t think he likes me very much.”
“I know he doesn’t,” Mickey said with a snort. “But that’s okay. Makes sense, after all.” He should have stopped talking, but he was high and his mouth was moving before his brain could even process the words. “It’s not often that your boyfriend is visited by the one who got away.”
They both froze. The room was completely silent for a moment, before Ian cleared his throat. “The what?”
“Nothin’,” Mickey said quickly, setting the bong on the coffee table and standing from the couch. “I didn’t say nothin’, and you didn’t-”
“It’s okay, Mick,” Ian interrupted. His voice was strained, like it physically hurt him to say the next words. “You got away from me, too.”
Emotion rushed through Mickey. Anger, confusion, desperation, sadness. I didn’t go anywhere, he wanted to shout, you could have had me if you’d just stayed.
He swallowed it all down, clenching his fists as Ian rose from the couch. “I’ll call you an uber,” he said, pulling his phone from his pocket. Opening it, he saw that he did, in fact, have a missed call and three new texts from Jay.
Ian’s hand fell on his arm, warm and rough. Just like everything else about this older version of Ian, it was both foreign and familiar. Mickey made the mistake of looking up. Ian was so close.
His eyes were intense. His tongue darted out to wet his lips and his brow creased for a moment. “Mickey.”
Mickey felt his face flush and his eyes sting with the familiar feel of unshed tears. “Ian.” His voice shook.
Ian darted forward and Mickey’s breath stopped as his warm mouth landed on his cheek. “Thanks for tonight,” Ian murmured against his skin. And then he was gone, leaving Mickey standing in the middle of his apartment with one hand clenched around his phone and the other pressed to his cheek.
Mickey wiped angrily at his eyes and stomped over to his door, locking it behind Ian. Then he went to his bedroom, standing in front of the door and taking a few deep, measured breaths before pushing it open.

Heroes Come to Live in the Real World (Part One)
Wow, this is actually one of my last posts for this year!
Living in a house with your friends is amazing experience. It’s never boring and I have always loved to have my friends close to me. We rented this house as soon as we finished high school and we couldn’t be happier to stick together. Well it can get hard at times of course. Especially when the house has only one bathroom.
“Come on, Axel! I need to use the bathroom!” I yelled while knocking on the door loudly.
“Just wait a few more minutes." My friend yelled back.
Axel is one of those people that like playing games on their phone while he takes a you know… I have known him since I was little and he is one of my closest friends. I really cherish our friendship but he can be too much sometimes.
"But I really have to pee." I groaned holding it in.
"Just give up bro." My sister says as she walked past me. "He won't come out until he finishes his level."
Her name is also Jesse but prefers to be called Jessica. She is the only person I can trust my whole life besides me and I can count on her for anything. Even though she also can be too much sometimes. Like in this situation.
“I haven’t asked for your opinion!” I yelled at her.
Soon enough Axel left the bathroom and I immediately rushed in. It’s always so good to let go off the pressure. I washed my hands and headed to the kitchen where Axel and my sister were at the table while my other friend Olivia made breakfast.
“Oh good morning Jesse.” Olivia greeted flipping a pancake.
Olivia is another one of my childhood friends. I met her because she was with Axel and since then the four of us became best friends. She is the smart one in our group and also an amazing cook.
"Morning Liv, I see it’s your turn to cook today.” I joined the others at the table.
“Yeah and I decided to start the day with people’s favourite thing for breakfast.” She put a full plate of pancakes on the table and Axel started gobbling them almost immediately.
“Axel!” Olivia exclaimed while the rest of us laughed.
“What’s with all the commotion this early in the morning?” Petra, another one of our friends came in joining us at the table.
She is like super cool! She has a motorcycle, she has tattoos and a piercing on her bellybutton. Like, this is soo hot. We recently met Petra and we don’t know much about her. She just moved on from Texas and lives in the house next to us with another friend of ours. She often comes for sleepovers here and this particular morning she is at breakfast with us.
“Um Petra, it’s like 10 in the morning. It’s not early at all.” I pointed out making her glare at me. I sheepishly smile at her.
Yeah, she can get scary sometimes…
"Anyway, what are we having for breakfast?" She asked.
"Pancakes." Axel answers his mouth full of the mentioned breakfast.
"Eh, I will pass." Petra shrugged and turned to me. "Can you please make me a cup of coffee? I am still high from the party last night."
“Anything for you my friend.” I started making her coffee with one sugar cube. Like how she loves it! When I was done I gave her the cup.
“Oh yeah, I forgot about yesterday.” My sister laughed. “It was so funny how we threw eggs on mr. Smileys house.”
Mr. Smiley is our neighbour but don’t get confused by the name. He is such an old grumpy man and hates us for some reason. Probably because we are way too loud most of the time.
“It was priceless!” Axel joined in the laughter. “Then he started to chase us.”
“He even managed to hit Jesse with his walking stick.” Olivia joined in bursting with laughter too.
“For an old man he can run pretty fast.” I say while rubbing the place on my head where mr. Smiley had hit me. Yeah, it still hurts.
“He probably dislikes us even more now.” Petra shook her head in amusement. She finished her coffee and stood up. “It was fun guys but I am going home. Lukas is probably wondering why I am taking so long.”
Yeah, last but not least we have the dorky Lukas in our friendship circle. He comes all the way from Seoul, South Korea which is like on the other side of the world. But don’t get confused by his looks, he is not fully Korean. Yet, girls go crazy about him because they think of him as one of those handsome korean actors/singers or whatever. We don’t know much about him yet but he is a good friend so far.
“Bye Petra, make sure to tell him all the fun that he missed.” My sister say as she ate her pancakes.
“You bet I will!” Petra then leaves and we continue on with our breakfast.
