Today's episode of LAES was quite emotional, and I love it!
Lunar is still so conflicted, and he is starting to realize these powers have done far more harm than good. Lunar in this episode feels very Spider-man-y, Lunar sounds and feels so much like Peter Parker in this episode questioning why he got these powers
Was he blessed?
Or
Was it just an unfortunate string of luck?
I feel so bad for Lunar, I hope he doesn't join the astrals cause [BEEP] the Astrals. I love the Astrals, but they aren't exactly good at their jobs, I feel.
Earth's reaction in this episode is completely valid she has no clue what to do here. These people's are basically gods, and she's basically an ant to them. This is the fate of the world. What is she gonna do. She wants to help, but how do you help with this?!
Reed, Kat, awesome episode! I love it so much!

Fantasies of Revolution
As we get daily news reports of the New York police trying to find the man that killed the United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, we see a rising of the people. The unification of the lower class. The death of a man who has been the cause of countless lost lives is to the benefit of us all. The words "Deny" "Defend" "Defend" echo in our minds just as the shell casings did when they dropped to the ground. We can only hope that his fervor does not die down, though I fear it will. Syria has made its dictator flee. South Korea put a stop to tyranny before it ever began. Georgia is fighting to be heard by its government. France voted to remove their far-right prime minister.
With the incoming presidency of Donald Trump, we cannot falter now. This momentum cannot stop. We are the people. We are the employers of the politicians. Make them hear you. Deny their power. Defend the people. Depose the rulers. Vote them out. Fire them. Show them that you are angry.
Earlier this year, I wrote a short rant piece about getting my family to wake up from the delusions that the far-right were promising them. I never showed it to them because it was filled with anger that they would never listen to. Now I call to the words that were in my head for days on end, "Wake up. Get up." Do not let this momentum die. Companies are trying to hide who their upper level executive people are. They are scared of the people.
A cover of Les Mis's "Do You Hear the People Sing" by the.real.eden on tiktok has been particularly powerful for me. I've listened to it over and over. I hope that the politicians and wealthy hear the people sing the song of angry men. I hope we are loud enough. I fear that this is simply just accumulation of fantasies of revolution with nothing to back it up. I fear that this will become the "there are flowers blooming in Antarctica." I fear that this will become a left vs. right instead of the working vs. wealthy. The wealthy fear a coherent and unified working class for a reason. They fear unions. They fear us. They fear those willing to fight for what is right. Do not let this momentum die down. Do not let our angry cries be silenced.

Omg can we talk about how the transits right now are really similar to the start of the French Revolution?? (May 5th 1789)
Jupiter and Uranus were together in Cancer (formed an exact conjunction in June/July of that year in Pushya) (The Bastille was stormed in July 1789)
Jupiter and Uranus are together right now in Krittika (formed an exact conjunction last month in Krittika in Aries) Saturn was in Purva Bhadrapada then and has just entered Purva Bhadrapada last month. Neptune was opposite Mars (Neptune was in Chitra and Mars in Revati) and Neptune and Mars are currently together in Uttara Bhadrapada they formed an exact conjunction around a week and a half ago. Sun and Venus were both in Bharani as they are right now. (Really close in degrees too) Pluto was in Capricorn (Dhanishtha) then and is in Capricorn now (Uttara Ashada) Rahu was in Scorpio (Anuradha) and is now in Pisces (Revati) - both water signs and Ketu therefore in an earth sign (Krittika & Hasta)
OMG 😲😲
i feel like there's been a general sense of unease with the elites/capitalism/the system/work etc for a while now and as gen z has entered the work force and made their discontent with the system known, the masses en large are waking up to the truth of how fkn awful everything is and how its designed to make the rich richer and keep the rest of us where we are, toiling for little rewards. the global economy is shit rn as well so the stage is well set for a french revolution esque scenario bc the people have had enough!!! not to forget how marie antoinette's bourgeoise elitism cost her her head and we're all increasingly annoyed with rich people and them flaunting their wealth,,, like its no longer fun or cute, even red carpets and pop culture has lost its sheen and now just seem dull as fuck given the reality of the world we live in.
the veil is thin rn and everybody has a bird's eye view of how screwed things are and honestly??? i truly believe our generation will be the ones who overhaul things and that major systemic shifts will occur shortly that drastically alter the way we live our lives
Bharani nakshatra is strongly tied to themes of karma and justice, Purvabhadrapada points to intense and painful transformation, Krittika is cutting off bad ties
ITS ALL ADDING UP <33

i would feel more inclined to follow liberal pro-democrat people on here because i enjoy the occasional reality check but the amount of people who follow zionists who spread deeply racist and pro-genocidal viewpoints on here is insane. like why would i follow you if i can see youre directly reblogging from people writing shit like "that palestinian baby called for the death of all jews". also im sorry if youre reblogging shit from anyone with the israeli flag in their pfp im giving you a serious side eye

I worked all day making this cloak. Now my mom won’t let me wear it because cloaks are “creepy”.
She told me to “fit in”.
Please Reblog to make my mom let me wear cloaks in public and to normalise cloaks.

white american liberals love seeing poc as victims who constantly have to beg for a shred of white liberals' attention so they may throw some solidarity our way. the moment we refuse to audition for their sympathy and instead empower ourselves to fight back directly against our oppressors, these same liberals are not so comfortable with the idea of us as victims or innocents - how dare we resist or have our own agency? if a poc takes up a rifle after seeing their entire family be killed, and then is bombed by the killers for fighting back against the killers, then is that poc a victim? oh but how could they be? - they had a gun. the gun becomes our symbol of liberation and hope, not mindless vengeance, but as a means for the destruction of the power structures that our oppressor rests on. stop prefacing your support of poc with condemnations of our resistance. negotiations will never free oppressed people because our oppressors do not have a conscience. you cannot reason with somebody who thinks you are inherently worth less. resistance is the only way forward.
remember that the violence of the oppressed is in no way morally equivalent to the violence of the oppressor. and the oppressed do not have to justify the means of our resistance to the oppressors / the sympathizers of the oppressors.
